Cheap, Simple, and Works Great
I live in the West, family lives out East.I bought three of these and had them all working within an hour at different homes.My other family members are not so computer savvy yet were able to do the installation without my help.Once installed, and hooked into Windows Live Messenger, the video calling is very clear and the sound is good.I'm not expecting perfect for the price, but this is well worth it.I now get to virtually visit the family weekly.Recommended for a cheap and easy solution to see distant friends and family.

A satisfy customer and a nice product
It is an excellent web cam .Video is clear and sharp, and software installation is painless easy. Sound quality is excellent. I have no problem install it on my windows xp professional and media center version machine.The reason I purchased this web cams is that Logitech web cams does not work on my media center xp machine. Vx-3000 can easily integrate with Skype. I am so happy this product.

Not a Five Star Camera
I trust Creative Lab. We have several of their electronics, from speakers to Mp3 players. Infact, my first computer housed Sound Blaster.
average satisfaction - high price - no linux drivers
Plus: The camera works well on Windows, good picture quality and high frame rate.
If buying for remote monitoring or home security - Buyer Beware!
First off this review was originally for the Creative WebCam Live! however the software that runs the entire Creative Live! Live! Pro and Live! Ultra is the exactly same, and the cameras are very simular so this review should be relevant to all customers considering buying a creative webcam.

Good image
it's big for travel use but it has good face track and image

Weak support...
This camera is wonderfully light and small, yet still has great visual capabilities.The only problem that I am experiencing is the supports used to mount it on the lap top are weak and seldom keep the camera stable/steady...which causes much confusion on the viewers end and frustration on my end of things!

great if you have multiple computers, but only one iSight
If you want to travel with your iSight, you don't want to rip the adhesive off your monitor at home and bring the mount with you and try to stick it somewhere else. The additional plastic mounts can be used on your computers at work and at a friend's - if they don't mind you gluing something to their monitor. The iSight mounts well - firmly into place with the kit, but Apple really needs to come up with some better looking mounting options... not just better looking, but more functional. I'd prefer a weighted base with a telescopic/snake-like bendy mount that I can contort and move wherever I want. The laptop mount has no stickum - just mounts w/ gravity and friction to the screen on your powerbook. Great if you need a replacement. ... Read more
