Useful and fun.
The Eyemodule 1 I just replacedhas provided images that are really useful and fun to take, spur of the moment. It captures the essence, if not the detail of the subject that can be edited into sketchbook images and saved to an address file an email or an illustrated newsletter. It is also great as a visual memo pad or recorder, capturing images on the fly for reviewing later. Stealth factor makes it fun, too.So now I have gotten an Eyemodule 2 and will let you know how it differs.

This item was a lot of fun until I dropped it. Will probably buy another.Although picture quality fair to poor depending on available light and hand movement, it provides images that are really useful. Poor Product. Never think to buy it
I just got the camera after shiping it to one of my friends in US and he sent it back to me to Cairo. I am really shocked of the poor quality of images. I keep asking my self how can they sell a product like this. I tried it for few minutes then relized that the normal place to put it in is the trash. I paid $80 and got nothing. It is too slow for preview, quality is poor, and never think about taking outdoor photos because you won't see anything. I have TT2 palm with high resolution screen and 24 bit color. When you move the photos to the PC, they are extermly bad and unacceptable. If I were in the US I am sure I would return it back.

Fun PDA attachment
I have had one of these for about a week and I'm impressed. I use it with my Treo 90 pda and it takes good picutures. At first I was worried--having read the other reviews, as all my pictures were turning out blurry. After I spent some time learning how to focus, the pictures became clear. I have a $700 digital camera that takes FANTASTIC pics. My son and daughter have $200 cameras that take really good pics. This pda attachment, costing roughly 60-70 dollars takes good pics. I really like the way the camera swivels so I can aim the camera at myself, at someone standing in front of me or at someone standing to the side of me. It's also very easy to use. I plugged it into my pda and within an hour I was hotsynching the pics to my desktop computer and playing with them. It's a great product. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. For the price, it's a good and fun pda attachment.

Piece of junk
Camera is only usable outside in broad daylight. Trying anything inside your home/place of business and you'll have nothing but black on your screen.
Works well for what I wanted
For the price, this is a great addition for my iPAQ.I already have a nice digital camera that takes pictures in any setting.This is something I can carry around in my briefcase or my pocket for occasions when I need a quick snapshot.It's pretty much worthless in low light situations, but that's true for any low-end digital camera without a flash.Outdoors the pictures are just fine.They're perfect for email or other small requirements.

Keep looking - this ain't it!
I have to agree with the "lousy" review. It seems to be a decent setup,but if you need a light more intense than any naturally available, what is the point? HP needs to get this fixed so it is much more sensitive to light and can operate with a faster "shutter" speed to prevent blur and also produce something other than an extremely dark picture. Expensive but better than Logitech
I have used these cameras for a couple of years. I have 4 of them. I tried them side by side with the Logitech cameras, and I felt that there was no comparison. The quality of the Sony camera was vastly superior, particularly in low-light conditions. This camera also has a manual focus control on it, which some of the cheaper ones don't have. I think this helps the picture quality - when the camera is properly focused, of course.
Good but not for long
The quality was excellent "while it worked". It got sick and no picture. Forget about dealing with Sony Customer Serv. If it last for you enjoy it. It is bound to dye at least for me.
