5-0 out of 5 stars Last of a great dying breed!
This 13 inch Sony has a top quality picture with OK sound.Got the last one at Circuit City for 99$.Salesman said they (Sony) is just about to get out of the CRT TV business. What a shame. These Sony's have a great picture that is even better than my 36 inch JVC.DVD,Digital Cable, and even better on a dish.Keep making a sweep of the BB's and CC's just in case they have another one for that price I'll grab it up just to have a spare.Great things do come in small packages!Best picture on any 13 inch i've seen in my years of TV buying.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sony edges out Toshiba - I own BOTH
Well, I own BOTH the Toshiba 14AF45, 14", TV and the Sony KV-13FS100 13" FD Trinitron WEGA TV, and here's what I see every day:
5-0 out of 5 stars Great little TV!
I needed a small TV for my bedroom and this Sony delivered on all fronts. The picture quality is outstanding - crisp and vivid, without any of the artificial edge-enhancement on found on many analog televisions that I find so distracting.I went to a brick-and-mortar electronics retail chain to scout out small TVs, but kept coming back to the Sony because of the picture quality. It's certainly a fair deal more expensive than other TVs of similar size, but you do seem to get what you pay for.

1-0 out of 5 stars Huge disappointment
I have had nothing but issues with this product. The screen displays is washed out and the adjustment controls are too limited to fix this. The DVD player constantly skips. The radio antenna is a waste of time. It doesn't pick up anything but the strongest signals and even then with some static.I was leary of an Audiovox product, but wanted the larger screen. My opinion is to forget the extra inch and get the Sony.

1-0 out of 5 stars Do not buy from Audiovox
This TV broke in the first two weeks I owned it. Both the picture and audio would not work. I brought it to a local repair shop that could not fix it - I called the company and was just outside of their 90 day warranty and they did nothing for me.
2-0 out of 5 stars Unit failed at 4 months
I like the picture and size of the unit. The sound is a little tinny.Biggest problem is short warranty period. My unit failed after 4 months of occassional use and Audiovox said "too bad it is out of warranty."Maybe they know there is a problem and do not or cannot fix.90 days for a $400 TV is way too short. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good for my needs
I had a clunky tube TV in the kitchen and replaced it with this Magnavox, sleek and beautiful by comparison. And cheap to buy! For that application, a TV in the kitchen for background noise and occasional real watching (cable, not HDTV, though the TV is HD-ready), the TV is adequate. The picture and sound are fine, contrary to what other reviewers have said. Perhaps I got lucky. But I don't push this inexpensive, moderate quality set to do what it probably can't do. It does what I need and that's it. It turns on, stays on, has a decent picture and OK sound, turns off, and hasn't broken. And, it takes up a lot less room and looks good.

2-0 out of 5 stars Returned it.
Cable picture is poor. Sound is terrible. Despite matching its progressive scan capabilities with a progressive scan DVD player, it DID NOT meet George Lucas' picture specifications (which can be accomplished by tube-televisions over 10 years old). Too bad Sony has discontinued making anything under 20".
2-0 out of 5 stars Very Poor Sound
If you're lookng for an inexpensive HDTV, stay away from this one. Spend the extra money and get a good TV.

I bought a sharp lcd tv from j& r in new york last Jan, after a year and half, when powering on the tv, sometimes works, sometimes not. after unplug in, wait for a while and plug back, worked for a couple months. Send it to service center to checkup, was told that the lcd control board needs to be replaced. when request to get back the replaced lcd control board, was told that sharp does not give back the replaced board, it has to be shipped back, otherwise, you have to pay additional fee to get back the replaced board.. it's rather strange to hear such a lousy policy from any vendor..
5-0 out of 5 stars Solid Buy
I've have this tv for about a week and I love it.The image quality is great and the setup wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.I've read comments elsewhere stating that the setup is tricky however if you have cable all you have to do is split the signal and attach the split signal to the digital and analog coax inputs then let the set walk you through the setup and you're done. The QAM tuner this set comes with means you don't have to pay your cable provider for HD channels as long as they're unencripted. You also don't have to buy an antenna.I live in Fort Lauderdale and subscribe to Comcast.I don't even have digital cable but the set is able to pick up all the major networks, ESPN 1 and 2, and Discovery HD.It's a beautiful things.

4-0 out of 5 stars Classy, solid performance at a price
Looked at a Samsung for a similar price and was swayed by the QAM tuner. Tough luck, the Panasonic is not tuning any cable HD channels in.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best 32 inch LCD that I've seen
I compared many 32 LCD TV's and the Panasonic LX600 has the best picture quality. I compared LG, Sharp, and Samsung and the Panasonic has the best color and angle viewing. It's a little more expensive than some other 32 inch models but for the price you get a better product. Only disapointment is that Panasonic doesn't offer a 37 in model.
5-0 out of 5 stars One sweet picture
I've had this set for about 3 weeks and am still amazed at the picture quality. The color and contrast is very sharp.Menus are easy to navigate and there are lots of settings.Has multiple inputs including 2 HDMI inputs.Channel changes are quick and the sound quality is pleasant.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Deal You Can Find
This Television is fantastic. It is a great TV or monitor. I had no problem setting up this display for both. It is easy to use and the picture quality is good. For the price, I don't think you can find a better product. I would suggest this to anyone who needs a small TV or a huge display for their computer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing Value!
I bought this TV because of how inexpensive it is relative to other LCD TVs its size, and am amazed at how nice it is considering that I had not heard of Niko until I went TV shopping recently. First off, this TV can be used as a computer monitor (I hook it up to my powerbook g4 at a resolution of (1024 x ???) and can see text quite clearly. There are TWO component video inputs, in addition to TWO S-Video inputs. One way to judge the quality of LCD screens is by how red the reds are (low quality screens show reds as a little orange), and this screen is just beautiful.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing LCD TV!
I bought it before two months ago! It is a so great LCD TV.Moreover, I use it as my computer monitor! It is an amazaing TV.

Sony's KV-20FS120 20-inch WEGA TV may be the smallest display you'll ever consider using as a home-theater component. Its FD Trinitron tube delivers strong image accuracy, wide viewing angles, outstanding contrast, and impressive corner-to-corner detail. The visually flat FD Trinitron tube minimizes annoying glare from light sources, which enhances contrast. Corner-to-corner details are rendered more accurately because images aren't distorted by a curved screen. Squares look square, straight lines appear straight, and circles are circular.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding SONY 20Inch TV
The Sony KV-20FS120 20" FD Trinitron WEGA Flat Screen TV is a great 4:3 aspect ratio CRT set. These will not be around much longer. The picture looks great, but the picture for this type of TV's future looks dim. LCD flat screen sets and Plasma sets are taking over the market. LCD and Plasma sets are priced out of range for the average person so I don't get the overnight transition and logic to force you to buy them. A basic Tube TV with a 4:3 aspect ratio like this Sony 20 inch set is clearly a much better choice.
5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Buy
I purchased this in July after purchasing a 14" flat screen from wal-mart in April that was already having major problems.I received the TV after only 3 days.It was appropriately packaged and arrived with no damage.Very easy to set up and use.LOVE the size and the stereo sound.I recommend this product for anyone.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great picture, NO AUDIO OUT. need I say more?
Ok, great picture quality, s-video in. The speakers kinda suck, so you would need external speakers to hear movies better, but alas there is no audio out, so no way to connect any external speakers! Wow, that sucks! Get the Samsung instead, similar picture quality and audio out. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good, but could have been excellent!
This unit could have been a solid "winner" with a little bit more consideration to product detail. It functions very well but requires the user to adjust the picture on every start-up. Upon turning the unit off, contrast, brightness, tint, color return to factory set values that provide a "washed-out" display. Adjustment allows a broad range of control and a satisfying image can be obtained....BUT upon turning the unit off it resets to factory settings.

It pairs the super-fast Cinespeed LCD panel with the PixelPure Hi-Bit digital video processor, which provides 16 times the gradation levels of competitors' 8-bit systems, for smoother, more natural images. The set's built-in ATSC (DTV) tuner pulls HD signals (480p/720p/1080i) right from the airwaves, and its QAM tuner is fully compatible with unscrambled HDTV cable reception. A standard analog NTSC tuner receives standard-definition (SD) programming. It comes with a tabletop stand that can be removed for wall mounting (with optional hardware). Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars very disappointed
To be fair, I did not purchase from Amazon. I received the toshiba 37HLV66 a couple of days ago. Plugged everything in, then turned it on, and nothing, no pic no sound, no nothing. called toshiba expecting toreceive replacement. They refused and gave me a phone # to call and have it repaired. Repairing a brand new tv?????? Well that is toshiba for you, they do not stand behind their product. This is the last time I have purchase a toshiba product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Toshiba Has A Winner
Have had the set for less than a week but am amazed at the out of the box performance of the REGZA 37LCD. In shopping we compared Sharp and Mitsubishi 37 LCDs. Toshiba and Mitsubishi both have excellent picture quality but the Toshiba is less expensive. Running with DirecTV's new HD DVR, the HD picture is absolutely great, I think equaling Sony's high end XBR LCDs. The picture quality with non-HD signals is the best I have seen with any LCD set. The menu system is great, simple and intuitive, with a huge range of controlable settings. The only down side is the set doesn't have a swiveling base so getting to the built in DVD player is difficult if the set is in an entertainment center cabinet. The up side on the DVD is very good performance with all DVDs. A great LCD set and reasonably priced.

I compared TV's for about 6 weeks, finally stumbled on this one and bought it.Beautiful picture!Even the analog picture looks good. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Purchase - Great Picture
We compared this TV to various 720p and 1080p rear projections by Samsung and Sony. The image quailty was by far better than the other 720p TVs that we saw and the features made it hard to justify the additional expense of the 1080p.Besides, the speakers do not stick out from the sides, offering a clean profile with excellent sound quality.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Thing of Beauty!
This baby's really nice. It has some of the richest color and contrast ratios I've ever seen. I can't turn it off!! Oh, so beautiful. The black levels are in the plasma neighborhood, but this TV can handle a full 1080p signal..which u can't get on a plasma.(personally I can't stand plasmas)
