A little flimsy, but.....
Beware this is a very flimsy antenna.If you drop it, it will break.But otherwise, I still think this is the best antenna for the price on the market right now.If it were sturdier, I would give it a 5 rating.

Pretty good
This is a decent indoor antenna.Granted, I live approx. 12 miles from the main tower that transmits most of the HD channels for my area.My TV has a signal strength indicator and I get about a 60% signal strength with this antenna.That's with it sitting behind my TV on the stand.It might be better if I sat it higher.I agree with some reviewers here that it's a bit flimsy.I actually broke the solder joints on the plug trying to pull it out of the stand.Not the greatest construction, but for ~ $20, can't complain.Plus it was me that broke it.But it's easily fixed with some solder.I'd recommend it anyway.

Works well except for Comcast VOD
I was surprised to see how well this booster worked for me.My cable modem was -13dBmV power level and getting slow inconsistent D/L.Plus analog cable reception was poor on many channels.Popped this on and the modem signal strength went to +3 dBmV and D/L speed rose dramatically.Also, the analog cable TB reception was hugely improved.
very good product
I bought this because I am running 4 TV's in our dorm room off of one cable jack. With this installed inbetween the wall jack and the spliters, it has made the signal better on all of the tvs than when just one was plugged directly into the wall. The main TV is a 25" and the signal looks as good as SDTV can look. If your TV's look less than perfect, buy this item, it will make a big difference. Also buying good quality cables can get rid of any noise you see in the signal once you get it.

How can the software be this bad?
I've been using a one-for-all 9910 RF remote for a while.I used JP1 to program it all nice and neat.The problem was you needed to explain to everyone (and remember yourself) what each button did and it wasn't as automated as the 890 promised to be.Plus I wanted one for my parents, so I thought I'd get one and try it out before subjecting the old folks to it (I'd program it for them).I love the features of the 890, and once it's running smoothly, it's mostly good (I need to get used to hard plastic buttons and I'd like a button to activate a feature on the TV when in any mode) but getting it set up is the most frustrating thing in the world.When you use JP1, you expect to hit a few bumps (buy a 40 dollar remote and 10 dollar cable and have at it).I hacked my tivo and set up networks in my house and my parents house, I'm not new to futzing around with electronics.When you spend over $250-$400 for a remote with web functionality, the setup should be much simpler.The remote crashes, locks up, gets corrupted and has system failures.The desktop software isn't any better :(I think one tip is to leave the battery out when syncing with the computer.That way, when the remote crashes, you don't have to take the battery out to reboot, simply unplug the usb cable.I thought I was going to break the battery cover for all the times I had to take it off.
What you MUST know about this remote before making a Decision.
I read all the negative review and became VERY wary of purchasing. I decided due to the price and no clear runaway reason to go with another Universal remote to give this one a try. Boy am I glad I did that because it's GREAT once you get it programmed. There are 4 caveats!

Worked at first but....
I bought this item about two months ago and was happy as can be. No more equipment in the tv room! About two weeks ago though, I noticed that the unit was slower and slower and I had to hit buttons repeatedly to get things done. It has eventually gotten to the point that it does not work at all. At first I thought it was batteries in the remote, so I replaced those a few times. Then I thought the placement of the IR transmitter was off, so I moved it closer to my AV rack. That worked at first, but the problem persisted so I reprogrammed, but to no avail. Eventually I narrowed it down to the remote unit. Even with the remote RIGHT NEXT TO THE IR Transmitter, it now does not work most of the time. Of course the real problem now is that all my av stuff is in a different room, so standard IR remotes (why do they even make those still????) are out of the question. I will be moving onto something else and keep my fingers crossed.
Good Cheap Remote
This remote fills a very small niche and does it well.Inexpensive RF remotes are hard to come by and this one is very fully featured.RF+learning+macros for $30? Wow!I plan on getting a few to control an mp3 player and amplifier in the basement for my whole-house audio system.

died in less than 9 months
nothing amazing as far as a remote control. The macro's are nice, but can be lived without. It was a solid remote for 8 months or so, then buttons started failing one by one until it was impossible to use, and I had to buy a new one. Buyer, beware! one-for-all only offers 90 days limited warranty!

It's amazing
Our Satelite reciever/TiVo remote was dying and a replacement was $65!! This remote worked in 2 minutes and I was even able to program a couple of TiVo functions that weren't automatically in the remote. Simple, functional and reasonably priced.How can you beat that?

Can program almost everything....but sucks (batteries)
I was happy to get this remote and was able to program this to replace the 7 I was switching between.The learning feature was great and easy if you follow instructions.However, it has completely drained 2 new sets of batteries on me.I'm getting an avg of 3 days for a new set of batts before it doesn't send the full signal and flashes "Low Battery".They were both brand new sets purchased that day.I even changed between Duracell and Energizer.Hmmmm...Also, it is quite large and having the DVR/Tivo/PVR controls on the bottom and toggles on the top can often require 2 hand remoting.It can save space but it's not the most convenient piece of electronics.I'm calling tech support this week to see if I just have a bad unit.I'd rather just get my $25 back. ... Monster Cables are Very Very Good
I bought various monster cables and they work great. Most important is a monster S video cable for the cable box or satellite box for viewing regular TV. (Only HDTV boxes have component cables on them) A HDTV is not worth it to me just yet. The Monster Video® 2/Interlink® 250 A/V Connection Kit (S-Video) is great and it costs as much as 2 cases of beer and lasts for years. Prestine picture quality on 35 inch sets and below. For bigger sets get a Monster Super Video(tm) 3/Interlink® 400 MkII Advanced S-Video A/V Kit. You will thank yourself. Costs as much as a dinner for 2 but lasts for years.

Before I owned this cable I was disappointed with the quality of picture that I was seeing on my HDTV. Though I wasn't very positive about it I decided to go ahead and buy this cable. The picture quality changed by a significant amount! Much better than my cable company supplied cable.

Great remote with a great price tag!
After doing a lot of research, and finally reading slick045's and Justin's review below (the icing on the cake), I decided to go with the 550.I was looking for a simple, cool looking, rectangular remote that could control all of my devices (without breaking the bank).Within an hour, I had the remote working exactly how I wanted (actually, in 10 minutes I had the first iteration of it going).I was suprised that it even had my remote control lights in the online database (3BM, which is not a common brand).I know a lot of people say the software is difficult, but once you spend 15 minutes playing around with it you will figure it out.I am technically savvy but I don't think you need to be with this remote's software...in fact, I was glad it had so much programming flexibility.The only "major" tweak I had to do was remove the delay on the 550 remote for my Scientific Atlanta cable box as there was a noticeable pause when entering channel numbers.I did this by going to "Adjust the delays" for the device and changing the "Inter-Device Delay" from 1000ms to 0ms and walla it was as quick as the original cable remote.I was also impressed how easy it was to set up the activities to do multiple commands at once.Bottom line, definitely a smart buy.As this is my first day with the remote, I will be sure to update if things change, but I really don't think they will.I am a happy customer down from 6 remotes to 1!

A little confusing at first
This remote is pretty nice.It was a little confusing at first to set up but one you got the hang of it, it's very cool.I am pretty good with electornics and I use a lot of logitech equipment.But the web based interface to set up the remote is sloppy, and that's bad coming from logitech.But once you figure out how to set it up the way you want it, it works great.I like the customization, although tricky, its nice having one remote.Even my wife likes it and can work it and she isnt very tech savy.If you have the time to figure out how to set it up, it's a very slick remote and I would reccomend it.

Great Remote, controls everything including my Roomba!
Well, my Sima SUR-20 remote finally died after 5 years, so I had to find a replacement. I decided that I wanted a true universal/learning remote that had more than just a touchscreen. I started my search with Harmony because I have heard a lot of good things about them. My criteria included: learning, full macros, configurable, easy to use for less technologically advanced people,good button lay out, and no rechargeable batteries. This pretty much ruled out the 880, 720, and 890. Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of the peanut shape anyhow. So, my real choices became the 520 and 550. Not too much difference, mainly button layout and device limitations. In the end, I like the 550 layout best.

Great hardware crippled by dreadful software
I've had my RM-AX4000 for about six months.The good news is that the hardware is every bit as good as the prior reviews say it is.
Patience during setup really pays off
This remote does its job well. I had eight remotes to control the gear in my living room, and this thing took the place of all of them. I no longer lose them in the couch or forget where I put them last...and it no longer takes me five minutes to set up just to watch a movie or listen to music. Macros allow one button press to turn on (or off) all required equipment and set them to the correct mode. The backlight is pleasant, I like the audio feedback of button presses, and the sheer size of the thing feels good in my hands and prevents misplacement.
Looks Better Than It Works
I was looking for an all-in-one remote.One that I could program most of the functions of each of my remotes onto this one.Well it doesn't quite do it.Also, it doesn't seem to have the remote code for my Mitsubishi 80" Diamond Vision HD Rear Projection TV.I do like the ability to program the device on my PC, save the programing on a file on my PC, then program the remote by plugging in a USB cable into my PC to download the program into the remote.You have to use the button image that they provide on the LCD and you can't create unique button images that match the button on the remote that I am trying to replace.It does have a one button feature to turn on all components and set all components (TV, Cable Box, DVD Player, Home Theater Sound System, etc.) which my wife loves, but it is not easy to program. Trying to program it to change my TV input from Cable Box to DVD player is challenging as you don't really know where the starting input will be.They should have designed it to return the TV input to a default starting location.Why didn't they think of this.If they had taken one home and used it themselves, they would have fixed all of it's short comings.All in all, Sony could have done alot better in designing this unit, but then again, I can't seem to find a remote that works better. ... Terk HDTVO antenna from antonline
I live approx. 80 miles from the HD signal being sent here in Michigan and I put the antenna in a tree about 30 feet.The HD signal is crystal clear and I ended up with about six or seven High Def. signals that I could receive.There are other High Def. signals but the meter scale was to low maybe in the future they will add more HD channels?I was going to purchase a HD antenna that was rated the best but it was only UHF and I wanted one that was both UHF and VHF and the Terk HDTVO was.They also have an inside antenna that is numbered HDTVA.
Now I can record Star Trek in HD!
I wanted a way to record the new HD Star Trek Broadcasts in HD (they air at 3:00am on Sunday in NY).The standard antenna that came with my ATI HDTV card couldn't pull in NBC, so I bought this Terk HD antenna.I tested the antenna outside in the yard and it worked great, pulling in all the NYC HD stations from 45 miles away.I now have the antenna mounted in the attic, and it's still pulling in all the stations even through the roof.I use Beyond TV on my PC and now I have an HD PVR!

I did extensive research on the web before I decided on this antenna. It is rated blue. Based on the information from antennaweb, the stations in my area are all about 40 miles away and require a blue rated antenna. Most of the reviewers liked it too.

does the job
got this mount as part of promotion with 46 inch LCD. LCD weights over 80 pounds which is not that bad. Hanging the wall plate was relatively easy , but second person would be helpful if you are not handy. If you are putting this mount on the wall by yourself , I wouldn't be relying on the level attached to a mount, but rather level and drill the holes for the screws. Of course, be sure to find the studs first and make sure you can align the holes on the mount with the marks on the wall.
Not bad for the price.
I don't get why other mounts cost twice as much.I bought this to hang my 42" Panasonic and it is great.Can someone tell me why the Omnimount costs so much more?I don't see any "functionality" differences.And with the Mustang Tilt mount, I have been tilting it at least 10 times for either adjustments or disconnecting/reconnecting cables...It is so simple.

This product came with an italian users guide. In addition the specification fails to state the thickness of this wall mount. It turns out its about 3.5 inches thick and with the thickness of the monitor itself it stands out very far from the wall.

This Antenna works better as a non powered antenna then a powered. I had to return mine after a few times moving it around the crimp on the wire gave out and it feel apart. there are better cheaper Antenna you are not getting what you are paying for.

This is a WINEGARD SS-3000. If Terk actually sells this, all they do is mark it up.
I purchased the Winegard Sharpshooter antenna as a somewhat-last-resort for digital TV reception. I had tried a number of amplified antennas, and most of them did virtually nothing or were spotty at best.
It works
I had a Terk indoor/outdoor antenna installed previously. It pulled in most of the available HD channels, but not all of them.I put it in my attic and got the same performance.I set this one up in my living room and it pulls in all of them.And the closer it is to a window the better it works.It's an eye soar sitting here though.I want to see how it works in the attic, but haven't gotten around to getting up there in the summer heat.Since it pulls in signals through windows I don't know if it will work well behind a roof.It's too unsightly in the living room, so if it doesn't work in a hidden spot, I won't continue to use it. ... not hard at all
i was able to install this and my tv into a masonary wall in 20 minutes with a drill.it came will all the parts i needed.

very hard to install
This is seriously difficult to install.It took me a good 2 hours to make sure everything was lined up properly, pick out the correct hardware (still not sure if I even did that right, but it seems steady so what the hell), and mount the tv.Now that it's finally mounted, it moves well, but I don't even like to move it since I'm not sure how securely it's mounted - unsure about the hardware remember?Well there were only 2 types of screws that fit - one was way too long, and the only other ones were long enough to go in - but only just.They're in maybe a few millimeters - that's it.So i don't move the tv around much.
Very sturdy, good looking, but pricey and HARD to install
I read one review that it was easy to install, not so.Unless you do a lot of drilling in walls, and are familiar with the millions of pieces included, you'll be utterly confused.The couple pages of instructions were grossly inadequate.It comes provided with just about every screw / bolt you could ever possibly need (labeled in pouches A through O), but the instructions refer to pouches that aren't even there (e.g., package N), it's not too hard to figure out the correct package, but you'll still be somewhat confused and wondering.

Better performance from an old coat-hanger
I'm quite near TV transmitters so a decent signal should not be too hard to find. Though a couple of channels came in reasonably strongly on the TV-55 reception is very poor over most of its range and the included amplifier make absolutely no discernable difference to anything. How poor is the performance? Well, I got a better picture on a wider range of channels by touching my own thumb to the coax connector than by leaving the TV-55 connected. Since my old rabbit ears get far better reception for less money than it will cost to return this dud to Amazon.com, I'll stick with them for now.

Excellent HDTV Antenna
I've used this antenna for 3 years in two households.Currently the antenna is mounted(unpowered) in the attic of a two story in Fort Worth(transmitters at least 25 miles away).I'm splitting the signal between two HDTV's with diplexers to share cable with DIRECTV satellite signal.I receive excellent reception of all local HDTV channels.When I lose DIRECTV in bad weather I can always rely on the local HDTV broadcasts.Highly recommended.

I bought a Terk TV-55 and it performed poorly. The co-ax connection loosened which I could not fix without taking the unit apart. I switched to a channel master uhf array. Good quality mount but...
The vertical mounts do not adjust horizontally so you will have to attach it to your wall using hollow-wall anchor bolts at the full 30-32" width. If you are mounting on sheet rock you probably should go with a unit that has horizontal slots so you can align with your existing studs. I mounted on a hollow wood-paneled wall using 5/8" anchors and it is very strong thus I give it four stars based on its high construction quality, ease of hanging, and the fact that you can slide the TV left or right across the bars to center it. Also be forwarned that the built-in levels are way off so be sure to use a separate level. Overall this is an outstanding buy at $80. ... Read more

Decent system
Overall pleased with the mount.It is important to locate the studs.The newer stud finders are very good and makes this process easy without having to drill tiny holes.Once the TV is on the mount, there isn't much space between the wall and the TV to make connections.It is better to have the appropriate connections in place before the TV is hung.If not, you will end up having to make the connections by feel and using a mirror.I hung a 51" Panasonic before making any of the connections.I ended up having to plug in the power cord and cable connections by feel.This isn't a problem if you've got a readily available companion to help lift the TV off of the mount.

Right out of the box the directions were clear and concise. The mounting hardware was great. I felt very comfortable putting my new tv on this.

I bought this mount for my Philips 37" (37PF7320A/37) LCD TV. I think it is an overkill for my TV, since it weighs about 70 lbs. Also, the VESA mount is 200x400. This mount is about the only one that fits my TV. Quite easy to install as well. ... Read more

Quality Construction, Easy Installation
This is a high quality, precision made piece. I'm very particular about the construction of things that I buy and this Peerless arm more than met my expectations. It was easy to attach to the back of my 32" LCD television and equally easy to mount to the wall. I read a review of another arm where the buyer complained that there were many pieces to assemble. Not so here. Everything is assembled except for the mounting plates that attach to the back of the screen. All hardware is included along with clear, complete instructions. I'd be surprised if you could find something better.

Won't be disappointed with this Peerless Mount
I just finished installing this mount for my 32" Sony LCD, and I am very happy with my selection.After looking at dozens of mounts online, this one stood out right away for its aesthetics and clean lines.I saw many articulating arms in the $200+ range that appeared to be over engineered and frankly were not as clean as this peerless mount.
