Editorial Review The E250 is a 2.5 GHz accessory handset designed for use with AT&T's E2525 and E2555 expandable phone systems. It operates on the 2.4 GHz band and employs frequency-hopping digital spread spectrum technology to provide a clear, accurate signal with less interference. The base systems (required, sold separately) support up to eight handsets, allowing you to place an extension wherever you need one, without an additional phone jack. Read more

Excellent Phone
I bought this phone to replace a 10+ year old Panasonic model KX-T3175.This phone is equal in all features carried forward, and has attractive new features like built-in caller ID, intercom, and headset capabilities that make it superior. My LCD display is plenty bright, and contains more information than my previous set.
Dissapointed
The LCD display sucks. The display does not seem to have any kind of backlight. All the extension flash until you assign them a number even if you have no extensions. According to Panasonic the phone should have a backlight. This is the second phone I am going to return.
Excellent phone
We bought one of these to replace the older model KT3280 which we bought about 10 years ago. We love the built-in caller ID. Haven't tried any other phones as we are pleased with the Panasonic.

Great while it works!
When I first got this phone equipment, I was delighted. It lasted about six months before fizzling out on me.The speaker phone on the base unit worked fine at first. Now callers tell me it sounds as though I'm in a dance hall ... a dance hall with lousy acoustics. The buttons on one of the hand units don't always work.I punch in a number, only to find that I have to do it all over because one or two of the digits didn't register. Now, one of the units won't recharge properly when seated in its base.
This has been a good phone.
I have had a V Tech 5831 for over 2 years now and I only have one problem with it.My phone thinks it is central time so the time is off an hour which really isn't a big deal to me.
Problem Buttons on VTECH 5820
The buttons used to turn off the phone and the 3 buttons just below the display require repeated attempts before they work which is very frustrating to use.I made an indepth product research before buying this phone and am very dissatisfied with this phone.I would not buy it again and am currently looking for another BRAND of phone to replace it.I won't buy another VTECH again.

Editorial Review The Cordless DUALphone is a cordless telephone that can be connected to both a standard telephone jack and the USB port of a PC. The display shows whether your friends who also use Skype are online. If they are, you simply have to press the appropriate green button and talk to them for free no matter where they are in the world. If their PC is switched off, or you want to call someone who doesnt use Skype, you simply press the other green button and call via the standard telephone connection. Simply connect the DUALphone to the USB port on your PC and then install the software. The telephone is then ready to make and receive calls via SkypeIn/SkypeOut or the normal analog line. Read more

Editorial Review The TRU8885-2 from Uniden is a cordless phone with a built-in answering machine, caller ID compatibility, and expandability to 10 handsets (model TCX800). It comes with two handsets, one that recharges in the base unit and another that recharges in the included remote charging cradle. That latter requires only an AC outlet, so you don't have to worry about additional phone jacks. Read more

great 2 line phone
If your looking for a 2 line phone...this is it. It has many options.Handset is a great size, with no bulky antenna.
Cordless phones
The phones and answering device look good and work well. We had a little trouble setting the system up as the directions included were not pertinent to the model we bought. But, once hooked up, it works fine. I really like the personal ring tones available.
Nice and Loud
When you turn up the volume on this phone, people's voices actually get loud enough!Maybe I'm deaf, but this is the first phone I've found that makes conversations loud enough for me to hear.I talk exclusively on a headset now, because I finally can. Both of my old cordless systems made people's voices too low for me to hear on any headset system I used.

Editorial Review A basic phone without a lot of frills, the EXP 970 won't drain the pocketbook but provides the basic features you need. It utilizes the 900 MHz band and employs tried-and-true analog technology with autoscan, which automatically selects the best available channel. Handset-to-handset call transfer (if you have two units) allows you to route an incoming call to the other handset, while a page/handset locator provides a quick and easy way to locate a misplaced phone. Decent enough
Its vertical design is well-suited for crowded nightstands and desks, and I haven't noticed any problems with its range and reception. The phone, however, feels very flimsy and hollow. Its bar-of-soap design discourages long conversations. My biggest complaint is that there is no way to disable the ringer or turn down the ringer volume -- although you do get a choice between two awesomely annoying ringtones. Considering what I paid for this phone (single-digit), though, I can't gripe too loudly.
Inexpensive with a few problems
The phone looks fine, doesn't take up a lot of table room, and the battery life is fine thus far. However, it is a little uncomfortalbe on the ear and the signal gets weak at certain places in my 900 sq ft apartment. Not huge problems if you aren't on the phone for hours on end.

Speaker didn't work - had to return it
I am another person who couldn't even set up the unit since the speaker didn't work when I opened the box.It might be an okay unit, but since I received a defective one, I will never know.I saw others had received defective units, but thought it wouldn't happen to me.I took a chance and lost.Seems like AT & T has a quality assurance problem if they are shipping lots of units with problems.Steer clear...
DRIVES ONE TO DRINK -- THROW IT AGAINST THE WALL
First one total malfunction -- returned.Replacement -- can't get repeat of the messages -- instructions totally inadequate -- calling Customer Service a JOKE.If you have HOURS OF TIME to work at it -- you MIGHT get it figured out!It totally destroys "any" respect for the AT&T trademark. In My opinion -- TOTAL DISASTER.I would not even suggest looking at a picture of it!WORTHLESS -- "GREAT" WASTE OF TIME -- A DISGRACE TO AT&T.
READ THE REVIEWS AND BELIEVE
DON'T BUY IT! MINE IS ON IT'S WAY BACK! NO CHIRPS, NO BEEPS, NO SOUND OF ANYKIND. INSTRUCTIONS DONE VERY CHEAPLY..SMALL RECTANGLE TO UNFOLD INTO TWO SIDED LARGE PIECE OF PAPER WITH NO ORDER OF HOW TOTO FINISH SET UP!!! MINE DID NOT WORK. I DID NOT READ THE REVIEWS"BEFORE" I BOUGHT...DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.

Skip this phone!
I was mainly looking for a corded phone with caller ID that I could have near my computer in my office (since apparently my cordless signal was messing up my DSL). Unfortunately, the caller ID was apparently the least of my problems. With this phone, I could not use my computer at the same time anyway since the cord did not reach from the telephone table immediately next to my desk (about 1.5 feet from my chair)! Not only that, but the caller ID required batteries, which I had to replace about every month. You'll be angry at the time you waste trying to rig this one for actual everyday use. Skip it! Spend a little more money and spare yourself the irritation.
Trashcan
This phone has a short and non-replaceble handset cord. It has a short and non-replaceable line cord. It lasted less than a day.
Don't bother
SHORT cord cannot be replaced, so don't bother with this phone unless you can sit RIGHT by it to chat.
