2-0 out of 5 stars Where has quality gone?
Works fine, looks and feels "cheap."Very few cordless phones with speaker on handset that are wall mountable? Why?

3-0 out of 5 stars Not Many Choices.
With most of the available two-line phones now being sold as console units that will support many cordless handsets and built in message features, I wanted a plain old, stand alone, two line phone.Like the old record turntables, most of the big manufacturers still offer one or two choices but the pickings are slim.I decided to chose Panasonic based on a mostly positive experience with their products over the years, but it is not a great phone.Good phone, yes.It can be staticy and not so clear from time to time but I always get a signal. The operation sequence for managing the incoming calls has you push one button and the phone will answer what ever line is comming in.This system does not perform well with "call waiting".I still don't have it down yet.Fortunatly most people call back if I cut them off.

Editorial Review

Girls with "a passion for fashion" need to have accessories that look as fabulous as they do. This funky phone, authorized by the fashion-forward Bratz dolls, is shaped like a pair of lusciously plump pink lips (the Bratz dolls’ signature feature) so girls can gossip with friends in style. The upper lip of this kissable 2.4-GHz phone is the cordless handset while the lower lip is the cradle. This phone has a digital address book that stores phone numbers for 64 other cool kids right at girls’ fingertips. Caller ID flashes the caller’s phone number on the LED screen and call waiting allows girls to interrupt a current conversation for a more important call. Additionally, a call history records the phone numbers of the last 80 incoming calls (so girls can check if a special someone tried to call). Other kickin’ features include redial and hold buttons, speed dial, and a handset locater button in the cradle. The Lips phone comes with an AC/DC adapter for the base and a rechargeable battery pack for the handset. MGA Entertainment provides a 90-day warranty on this groovy product. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars 8th birthday gift
I think the phone is great for the preteen age group. It's somewhat small for an adult but perfect for the 8-12 age group. My daughter loves the caller id. GREAT GIFT.

5-0 out of 5 stars bratz cordless phone is cool
I think the bratz cordless phone is so cool i think every girl that likes bratz as much as i do should get one of these phones thats my message to the girls that like bratz as much as i do!

3-0 out of 5 stars Unsure..
I allowed my daughter (8yrs old) to purchase this phone with her allowance for her room. The phone features were actually surprising (caller i.d., speed dial) however, the signal isbad. The phone has a ringing tone on line as my daughter moves around the house. Now maybe it is all the interference in the house (digtal cable, dsl, etc.); I don't know. But it seems strange because our other cordless phones do not have this tone. If it continues I will return the phone. Overall the phone is cute and your child will love it. Take a chance. The store sells this product cheaper (food for thought). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Phone
I bought this phone to replace a 10+ year old Panasonic model KX-T3175.This phone is equal in all features carried forward, and has attractive new features like built-in caller ID, intercom, and headset capabilities that make it superior. My LCD display is plenty bright, and contains more information than my previous set.

1-0 out of 5 stars Dissapointed
The LCD display sucks. The display does not seem to have any kind of backlight. All the extension flash until you assign them a number even if you have no extensions. According to Panasonic the phone should have a backlight. This is the second phone I am going to return.

2-0 out of 5 stars Great while it works!
When I first got this phone equipment, I was delighted. It lasted about six months before fizzling out on me.The speaker phone on the base unit worked fine at first. Now callers tell me it sounds as though I'm in a dance hall ... a dance hall with lousy acoustics. The buttons on one of the hand units don't always work.I punch in a number, only to find that I have to do it all over because one or two of the digits didn't register. Now, one of the units won't recharge properly when seated in its base.
5-0 out of 5 stars This has been a good phone.
I have had a V Tech 5831 for over 2 years now and I only have one problem with it.My phone thinks it is central time so the time is off an hour which really isn't a big deal to me.
1-0 out of 5 stars Problem Buttons on VTECH 5820
The buttons used to turn off the phone and the 3 buttons just below the display require repeated attempts before they work which is very frustrating to use.I made an indepth product research before buying this phone and am very dissatisfied with this phone.I would not buy it again and am currently looking for another BRAND of phone to replace it.I won't buy another VTECH again. ... If their PC is switched off, or you want to call someone who doesn’t use Skype, you simply press the other green button and call via the standard telephone connection. Simply connect the DUALphone to the USB port on your PC and then install the software. The telephone is then ready to make and receive calls via SkypeIn/SkypeOut or the normal analog line. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great 2 line phone
If your looking for a 2 line phone...this is it. It has many options.Handset is a great size, with no bulky antenna.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cordless phones
The phones and answering device look good and work well. We had a little trouble setting the system up as the directions included were not pertinent to the model we bought. But, once hooked up, it works fine. I really like the personal ring tones available.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice and Loud
When you turn up the volume on this phone, people's voices actually get loud enough!Maybe I'm deaf, but this is the first phone I've found that makes conversations loud enough for me to hear.I talk exclusively on a headset now, because I finally can. Both of my old cordless systems made people's voices too low for me to hear on any headset system I used.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent enough
Its vertical design is well-suited for crowded nightstands and desks, and I haven't noticed any problems with its range and reception. The phone, however, feels very flimsy and hollow. Its bar-of-soap design discourages long conversations. My biggest complaint is that there is no way to disable the ringer or turn down the ringer volume -- although you do get a choice between two awesomely annoying ringtones. Considering what I paid for this phone (single-digit), though, I can't gripe too loudly.

3-0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive with a few problems
The phone looks fine, doesn't take up a lot of table room, and the battery life is fine thus far. However, it is a little uncomfortalbe on the ear and the signal gets weak at certain places in my 900 sq ft apartment. Not huge problems if you aren't on the phone for hours on end. ... Read more

I am another person who couldn't even set up the unit since the speaker didn't work when I opened the box.It might be an okay unit, but since I received a defective one, I will never know.I saw others had received defective units, but thought it wouldn't happen to me.I took a chance and lost.Seems like AT & T has a quality assurance problem if they are shipping lots of units with problems.Steer clear...

1-0 out of 5 stars Skip this phone!
I was mainly looking for a corded phone with caller ID that I could have near my computer in my office (since apparently my cordless signal was messing up my DSL). Unfortunately, the caller ID was apparently the least of my problems. With this phone, I could not use my computer at the same time anyway since the cord did not reach from the telephone table immediately next to my desk (about 1.5 feet from my chair)! Not only that, but the caller ID required batteries, which I had to replace about every month. You'll be angry at the time you waste trying to rig this one for actual everyday use. Skip it! Spend a little more money and spare yourself the irritation.
