Best bang for the buck.
This unit seemed to have the best standard lake shoreline maps compared to Garmin and Magellan units I've tried.It is great on batteries and meets nearly all our needs.I'd love to be able to upload waypoints, but none of the inexpensive handhelds allow that. For us older folk, the screen could be a lot bigger, but I guess that's what glasses are for. For our marine construction business, it is perfect.Accuracy of all the units is about the same, and operation is unique to the manufacturer you are looking at.Once you learn the screens, you are good to go.

Nice price, but can use some improvements
I just needed a GPS that could use UTM coordinates ..the Go2 and a competitor both were able to and the price was the same. The only real difference is that the Go2 had maps with cities, streets, exit signs, lakes included (hard coded into the system and no capability to add or change or update) and the other GPS unit did not.

I bought a sherpa a little over a year ago. I have not been able to get the altimeter to work, I have followed the instructions exactly and all it will do when i set it is jump around, it goes from 1510 to 18190 to -320 to 1948 to 6070 etc. its never the same. I have had other people try and use it, and they have had the same problem. I was wondering if i was doing something wrong,or if there might be something wrong with the instrument.I need an instrument like this to read elevation. This is the perfect tool for my needs. I'm installing 200 miles of pipe lines and i have got to know if the water lines are going down hill,and how much they are dropping,so we don't build to much pressure. I was in California this summer right on the coast,Iset it there at sea level,and tried to get to work and it did the same thing. Would you(please)help me with my problem. If i'm doing something wrong let me know, if you think there is something wrong with the instrument let me know what to do.I need something that will work. Thank You Lonnie PLEASE HELP!

GPS feature is fine. Comes with outdated Ostia Navigator
The system works good with E-125. Only and very disapponting thing is that the package contains an older version of Ostia Navigator software, which is about 4 years old on maps and extremely limited on POI and visual directions. BEWARE.....NOT for Cassiopia E100
I just bought this GPs system and it does not work. It says on the box that its for Cassiopia E100 and also on the Pharos web page but it is not for that as the software that comes with it is for Win Ce 3.0 only. Cassiopia E100 is WinCe 2.11 (and its not upgradeable) so in short its false advertisment. BEWARE.....Ships with wrong software for E100
