Very nice for the price
I found these speakers while looking for some speakers to compliment my Saitek 2 Illuminated keyboard.The speakers they replaced were some old Vaio speakers from my old computer.The speakers themselves look cool, and the sound they produce is decent when compared to my older computer speakers.the sub is on the boomy/bloomy side.I had an Altec xa3001 before, and I think that that sub sounded a bit better.For the fun stuff.In a dark room, these speakers do exactly what you want them to do...Glow, the multicolor effect is cool, the "beat" detect olny kicks in at high volume.Specs are:

Heavy Duty
I just purchased my second pair of Atrium 45's to add some sound to a patio addition.My first pair is 2.5 years old and still sound great being that they are hanging from a wall that is largely un-protected from the weather (Seattle rain).I can go out in a down-pour, crank the music up and the sound is still excellent.

Surprisingly good speakers for an outdoor space
I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago from Crutchfield for just under $200.We had a back porch with outdoor fireplace built onto the house and wanted to have music without having to use a portable stereo boombox.I had some unused stereo equipment available so I ran some long lengths of speaker cable from the den to the roof beam of the porch.I started out trying to utilize a pair of small bookshelf speakers I had on hand but they sounded dreadful out there.I went shopping for some "made-for-the-outside" speakers and the Polks looked like they would fit the bill.

excellent, high quality add-on to the Tivoli
I use a Tivoli model satellite as my alarm clock in the bedroom, and it also serves as a receiver for my Sonos system. While the sub doesn't deliver the sonic impact of, say, dual 12's in an automotive bandpass box, if you're discriminating enough to be using a Tivoli in the first place, you'll appreciate the subtle sonic addition. Nice item.
Bought this with my Tivoli Mk2 stereo. Great bass and not too thumpy. It really makes a difference and I cannot imagine my system without it.

Like the Sub alot
I believe that the wildly different opinions about on this sub have to do with how people listen and what they want. I have the Model 2, and when I plugged the sub in, I really noticed a difference, but did not hear a "thump thump" intrusion. I prefer this. For those looking to hear a seperate base line, look elsewhere. I think that the sub is worth it and adds a great deal.

great, but...
This is a pretty darn effective device and is a great addition to most home theaters. My review is in two parts, the good and the bad.
A real kick in the pants!
I'm a gadget guy with a decent home theater set up, so when I learned about the buttkicker, I figured "why not"? and ordered the kit with the wireless connection unit.
Buttkicker LFE Kit is awesome
I purchase the Buttkicker LFE Kit along with the wireless transmitter.I have a four piece section (L shaped) and was told I'd need multiple LFE's to feel it in all seats. I installed the mounting plate under two legs (vs one as the instructions suggest) and pushed all seats as tight as I could.I purchased enough of the rubber isolators to fit under all the legs on the sectional.Man oh man is this thing powerful.You have to play with a bit to find the sweet spot, but I feel the movement from all four pieces of my sectional.Absolutely amazing!Watching King Kong is a thrill.As for the wireless kit, it works like a dream and not having to run wires everywhere was even better. ... Solid purchase
I've had a pair of JBL's w/ 10" drivers for almost 10 years now and finally decided to add surround sound to the package.I picked up this center channel along with a pair of bookshelf speakers for my rear channels.The center channel has very clear sound - excellent voice quality.For a lot of music, I keep it in surround for the crispness it provides.A bit on the large side, but definitely a solid purchase.

This is a great speaker for the price you get them on amazon.com.I have these paired with E30 sats, E 250P sub, E N24WII for surround and a Yamaha RX-V767 AV receiver/amp.

Excellent sound and value
After reading previous posted reviews, I decided to purchase these JBL speakers to replace 2 larger Infinity speakers that I didn't have the floor space for anymore.It's still amazing to me that speakers this size can produce such an outstanding sound quality.I hardly notice the difference in quality (though I'll admit the Infinity speakers are about 15 years old) and these fit perfectly in my entertainment center. My great room is not huge and these are more than enough powered for great coverage.If you have space problems or a small- to mid-sized room, these are an excellent choice and you cannot beat the price for what you are getting in return.

Great Speakers
I play string bass and it is difficult to hear the bass on most recordings but the E-20 speakers really bring the bass tones out. I don't feel I need an additional woofer. Really enjoying the great sound. J&R shipped fast. Ordered on the weekend, received Thurs.

I have 4 of these bad boys, and all other JBL speakers except need to buy one more pair. I LOVE these things clear, crisp sound and great surround and primary speakers. I use this for surround and my main front left channel. They sound great with Music, Games, and Movies are amazing! I used to have all Onkyo speakers cheap Home system package and they started breaking down and i decided to get new speakers. Best sounding computer speakers!
I hooked these puppies up to my computer and they rock.I have a serious audiophile stereo system and these sound nearly as good at one tenth the cost.Good bass and treble controls, sound is great even played softly, and really kick turned up loud.The only thing I am going to change is get longer wires so I can get better separation.Use them with anything that has a headphone jack for great sound.

Simply the best.
Use them in combination with an AirPort Express Base Station and you can kiss all the wireless speakers on the market good bye. Tons of power and great sound quality.

I bought 2 sets of these speakers after looking into several other brands and found these to be the best price value.I'm semi-pleased witht their performance.I bought them to replace my computer speakers because I have a laoptop and an ipod where I store ALL of my music.I like the fact that if I want music in many rooms of my house, I don't have to move the whole laptop as well as a small set of speakers.I leave my laptop hooked to the transmitter in the living room and have music in any room I want, including outside.

Best BANG for the Buck
Well I researched HT systems for 3 days and finally decided on the hkts14. I bought a Harman Kardon avr 240 reciever 2 weeks before the speakers so that helped my decision. After I recieved the system I installed it in about 3 hours including the sattelite speaker stand which by the way look awsome. The sound quality that these speakers put out is awsome. Crisp and clear, and the subwoofer all I can say in WOW it is bulky but I can deal with that. This thing rocks the block and I have it turned 1/2 down on the reciever and on the sub. I would insist that anyone who is looking to buy them then do it. This is a great system.

You're going to be happy with these
Another review I read somewhere cited the subwoofer as reason enough to buy these speakers at this price.Spot on.The 10 in. you get (where most HTIB speakers come with subwoofers that are 8 in.) is good sized, so you might do well to prepare those others who will be sharing space with it that it will not tuck neatly away under even a large doily.But, for good reason: it pushes bass like few I heard in investigating the system I ended up buying.Even when you overpower the sound by turning the subwoofer all the way up it doesn't distort or muddy the way the others do.In fact, it's just more fun that way.The satellites are excellent and by all means spring for the speaker stands.My wife claims these as her sole and most valuable input to our HT system: they are sleek, very stylish and just class up the joint, nevermind delivering the sound at the same optimal height of your ear on the couch.The pictures here on Amazon don't do the overall effect justice at all.But the speakers themselves provide undistorted clarity and crispness at 20 decibels and that was enough to start peeling some paint and rattling doors in their jambs.I don't think most will have a room sized so that this speaker system would not fill it with a rich, clean, and full range sound expression.And don't let the differentiation some reviewers make between sound reproduction in movies and music detract you: get the right receiver and there will be no issue.

Amazing system for $350
Sound quality is superb. The sound is very crisp and clear. The surround is very true life. The base is so powerful. We were amazed at how big the subwoofer was for the price. We only use 30% of the base and it sounds like 90%. Center channel also brings the dialog to out. Overall, we are very pleased with this system. We couldn't believe we could own a great system with the money we paid. Originally we wanted the Bose Acoustimass 6 (also 5.1 channel surround sound). However, the price was too high for us. The Harman Kardon HKTS 14 is $200 cheaper. Cnet gave it an 8.0 Excellent rating and it was top four on their editor's choices list. And Bose wasn't on the list. With all the good reviews I read, We decided to give it a try.

This speaker is GREAT
I bought 4 of them for my store show room two months ago, because I was out-bidded several times on fleabay over some refurbished JBL speakers. I bought them based on what I saw from the reviews. Thanks guys. They sound awsome and people thought I paid hundreds for them, even the installer was impressed. This is one of my most satisfied purchases for years. This is certainly NOT because I lower my expectation due to the low price, they are just great, the base is amazing too, I didn't think a tiny 5" speaker can rock. This is a strong buy, I can't find anything wrong with them after 2 months of daily usage.

Good value
I purchased these speakers to use them as surround speakers due to space constraints. They didn't match the front speakers quite well. So, I plan to use them as an additional set of stereo speakers in another room or garage.

Quality Floor Standing Speaker
I'm a college kid, recreational audiophile and bass fanatic, studying engineering.I started off building a custom sub encloser with dual Kicker CompVR 12" subs driven by a 1200W Sony amp. I haven't stopped searching for great sound since.
A great pair of speakers at a great price.
I just received these speakers two days ago and I must say I like what I'm hearing. I bought these to replace a pair of JBL bookshelf speakers that I bought twenty years ago. These are a big improvement. They're much bigger than my old speakers which makes my wife a bit annoyed, but the fidelity is well worth "that look" that I got from her when I first set them up in the living room. They sound great whatever type of music (rock, classical, ambient) I've played through them so far. Great range of sound. Good highs and lows. They came well packed and seem like they can withstand my kids. My only worry is they have a bit of a high center of gravity and I hope my toddler won't pull them over. Otherwise I'm very happy with these speakers and would recommend them to any music fan who wants great quality at a great price.

Awesome Speakers for the money
I just bought a pair of these, and they ROCK! These are the best speakers I have ever owned. I just replaced my old Acoustic Research 410's which had received water damage recently. Excellect fit and finish, and the sound quality is phenomenal! I did some serious shopping for replacement speakers and almost every store suggested the JBL's over the Polk,Infinity, Sony, Pioneer, etc...I'm not an audiophile, but for the money and for just listening to music, you cannot go wrong with these. ... Great Rear Surround Sound Speakers
I purchased a pair of these speakers to replace some older JBL ones I was using as the rears in a 5.1 setup.I needed something smaller, with a lot of power, and with omnidirectional sound due to the setup in my living room.These speakers fit the bill perfectly.They are less than half the size of the speakers they replaced, can handle all the wattage my receiver can throw at them, and sound amazing even though the positioning for a rear surround is not ideal.I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a great speaker, or as an upgrade for an existing system.They are well worth the money.

We just installed these speakers to our HDTV system. We were looking for something that had great sound and minimal size. These did the trick. Now looking to buy the waterproof ones for the deck.

I am VERY pleased with this system!
I purchased this stereo because I wanted a small stereo that had great sound.I had read other reviews and decided to puchase this stereo/CD player and I am very glad I did!The sound is the best of all other stereos I have had in the past!What is really funny is I had to leave town last minute and my housesitter was blown away with the sound quality!She said she saw this small stereo and was blown away by the quality after she inserted a CD!She wanted to know right away where she could get one too!The only negative I have is the awkwardness in putting the CD into the player.You have to push the CD until it clicks in without pushing the unit itself(when it is not wall mounted), but the sound quality makes up this little inconvenience!!
Great Product, Great Service
The TEAC product is just a great piece of equipment. The sound surpasses the price by miles. My son and his friends were shocked at how much sound came from this tiny unit. It's just a great buy !
Better than the Bose tabletop!
I decided to return the Bose tabletop selling for $500 bucks and get this system instead. After searching all systems on Amazon I decided this one would be the best bet. The subwoofer gives lots of power if you want and the main unit is ultra slim, you can hang on wall (only to have the speakers close to the main unit) or you can spread the speakers out for better sound quality literally fills the room. I like these speakers
I was going to buy the EC35...but decided I wanted a slightly smaller speaker cabinet as I wanted the flexibility to be able to place the EC25 into my entertainment center cabinet behind speaker grills.This turns out to be able to with a width of slightly less than 18".This compared to the EC35 which is almost 22"...which wouldn't work.
Great center Speaker!!
I got this to replace my Center Onkyo which was really bad, could barley handle the load. So it was between the EC25 and the EC35. Well after much debate i went with EC25 because it was 75 shipped compared to 150 shipped. Well it didn't matter got it and it sounds GREAT with everything Music, Gaming and radio. I am really happy with this speakers it smokes my last Sony, and Onkyo. Mid and Highs are clear and crip no distortion even if i crank it up to max on reciver last Onkyo, or Sony couldn't do that. I highley suggest this speaker!

Why does Bose induce so manycontradictoryopinions?
I am not an audiophyle, just a music lover. My main system consists of Proac 140 speakers, MF x 150 amp and XRay cd coupled with PSU and MF DAC. I have a Michell Giro turntable. Whats this to do with Bose? may you ask. Well just intended to say that I am used to a middle range audio equipment with pedigree. It hapens that I spend many hours in a private office home, crowded with shelves, books and papers, so that I have no space to position box speakers. Recently I decided to purchase a Bose kit. My amp is a old Pioneer A 400, and a Marantz CD 76 MkII is my source.
