Nice Printing Calculator
This Sharp EL-1750P is a pretty great printing calculator for the price.I needed one for my new job and didn't want to spend a lot, so this is what I got.The only thing that I didn't like about this calculator is that to subract one number from another, you have to press the number, then the plus sign, then the other number, then the minus sign.I don't know if this is how all of these types of calculators are or not, since this is the only one like this that I have ever used... but pressing the addition symbol to subract seemed a little weird to me.I am used to it now, but I tend to get frustrated using a regular calculator at home that actually adds everything when you hit the addition sign!Other than that, I am satisfied with the 18.99 I spent on it. ... Great for small business!
When you're hesitant to go to the expense of a cash register, this is a great calculator for a small retail business - which is exactly why I purchased it.The keys are large, paper roll insertion is easy and the automatic tax calculation key (TAX+) for sales is helpful.The Casio website is also helpful for tech support.I purchased this item used without a manual and needed to know how to set the tax rate.(It was preset to 5% and I needed to change it to 6.5%.)Within a day they emailed me back with step-by-step instructions.If you are also struggling to figure this out and can't find the info on the web (as I couldn't) here are the steps as they provided to me:

I have been in the accounting business for 20 years.There are certain qualities that I demand from a calculator, including but not exclusion, are total position, display, multiply position, etc.This calculator is the best yet and I am hoping if something happens to it, which I doubt, it will still be available.Also, your price for two was only 20.00 more that the price quoted at a local retailer for one!!Thank you very much.

I had the Sharp VX 1652 Calculator and it was starting to slow down a bit. Used it for 17 years. This is the exact key position as the VX 1652, so no adjustment period. Everything has been improved.
