WOrks well.
Works well. SOmetimes, it flakes out and i have to uninstall USB drivers, to get it to work again.
Works fine so far
I just got this remote today. I plugged in the RF receiver to my laptop, opened up a powerpoint presentation and it worked! There was not much else to it. The instructions say that if you are a Windows user you need some kind of software and if you are a Mac user then you dont need the software but I think that might be the other way around because I am a windows user and I didnt need any software. I look forward to using it so that I can actually move around while I teach. Be careful... the switch that you use to advance forward is quite sensitive. I get the feeling I will accidentally moving forward more than one slide quite a bit.

Great remote - works as advertised
I bought this remote to use both giving PowerPoint presentations and demonstrate other software applications in front of an audience.Having the ability to use the little trackball on the presentation remote, allows me to move away from the computer and walk out in the audience - allowing for a more interactive presentation.

I chose this laminator because it is so wide and because it advertised it could laminate 7 mil.The truth is at 5 mil you have to run the item twice and it still sometimes doesn't completely laminate if the item is at all thick (cardstock or photos).It's still a decent buy at such a reasonable price, and I use it often. ... Mostly pros, but one big con
I use PowerPoint all the time, and up to now had been using a remote that works through an ifrared eye.That's OK, but I always needed to point the remote at my projector.This unit was my first of this type, and while it worked well in all respects, it had one glaring flaw that caused me to return the unit.Almost every time I depressed the button to use the red light beam pointer, it advanced or reversed my slide.NOT very professional looking!I tried holding it in various ways so as not to activate the advance/reverse mode while using the red pointer, but more often than not, it malfunctioned in this way.I'm looking for a unit with ALL separate buttons now...

Laser dies quickly
The control of PowerPoint is excellet except the blank screen button is often accidentally pressed during the presentation.

The interface to PowerPoint is seamless and excellent.I especially like the "6 o'clock" button that blanks the screen (the "b" key on the keyboard--did you know that feature of PowerPoint??).There are billions of ways you can configure it, but it works great out of the box.The buttons it has are quite useful!Read more

Don't waste your money
I have prior experience with the Royal PL2000 laminator.I use them mostly for digital photograph prints (8x10).The Royal wasn't that great but worked okay... until the motor burned out.I tried this Fellowes Laminator, but it does a *terrible* job laminating!I tried 4 different test prints (using the required carrier) but every single one had bubbles, poor lamination on the edges, warping of the print, and even cracking & bubbling of some of the ink!There really aren't any different temp. settings, though I tried to adjust the knob a few times.I also tried different carriers.But it's not worth it.The Royal wasn't that great, but at least it laminated well. great product
I would give 5 stars to this product, but the lacking part is the instruction manual. This machine can both cold and hot laminate, but I dodn't know what was the difference between them, and there was nothingabout it in the manual.
