Editorial Review It's the coolest party toy since the Polaroid: the new Canon CP-300 Photo Printer. Connect it directly to your Powershot-series Canon or other PictBridge-supporting digital camera, and you'll be printing snapshots and stickers faster than you can say "cheese." PictBridge is an industry standard that lets you print images by directly connecting your digital camera to your printer, regardless of the brand or model, without using a computer. Read more

Goodbye inkjet photo prints
I've gone through a number of HP inkjet photo printers.Printing my own photos was somewhat of a novelty, but I had to concede that none rivaled prints done at a photo lab. Finally after struggling with ink costs, paper costs, and less than impressive print quality, I started to use ofoto.com.Recently, I got the bug again and invested in the CP-220.This little unit puts all of the other ones that I've owned (three HP printers) to shame.Durable prints, great color, compact design, PictBridge, etc. make this printer a hands down winner!
Incompatible with HP Photosmart Software
I ran into a problem where the paper type selection was unavailble.Canon technical support was less than helpful.I figured out that the HP Photosmart software that's installed for my HP P1000 printer was causing the problem. After I exited the HP software in the system tray, the Canon printer began working fine.Canon's response was sometimes software is incompatible.I've found several reports on the web with people having the same problem, so Canon should know about it.The only reason I'm rating it as a 3 is because the picture quality when it actually prints from the PC is excellent. The results weren't quite as good printing directly from a Canon S200 camera; the picture wasn't as sharp.
Good quality photos, but--
These Canon card printers do a fine job if you are printing directly from the camera -- or it is the only printer you own if trying to print from your computer.I bought the printer to do snapshots, while I own several other printers for documents and larger photographs.Even if you only have Adobe Acrobat on your system, the printer will not work. It is useless to me.

Editorial Review The EasyShare printer is, in a word, awesome. Despite a few minor flaws, it essentiallysolves the basic problem of digital photography, namely that we all have hard drives crammed with thousands of images and no actual physical photos. KodakPrinter Dock Plus
Unfortunately, I was one of the morons that purchased this piece of junk. I have had this printer since 12/04 and every time I attempt to use it, something isn't working. I have printed approxmately 20 or so picture in total. This time, the printer will only prints half pictures. I called Kodak and was advised to download their new software. I did that and now the printer won't work at all. The lady told me to send the printer in as they have had lots of problems with them. She then asked for my credit card number and that was all she wrote. She tells me they are having trouble with the printers, but I have to pay. I wrote the CEO and no response, so they don't back their product either. Kodak is in trouble and I wonder why?
Printing a Problem
All works fine until you attempt to print a full expensive package of paper. The print cartridge consistently falls far short of allowing use of all sheets supplied in a package. The Kodak representative said I must keep the printer "plugged in" at all times. So much for being a portable unit.Have accumulated 60 sheets which I am unable to utilize as Kodak's position is they WILL NOT sell ink cartridges separately. The printer will not perform as advertised. You are just stuck with a defective product.
An Embarrassment!
I am thrilled with the pictures, but the printer dock is an abomination. My brother bought me 9 cartridge packs for Christmas.I have used up 6 so far and each one is defective. The warning comes up on the LCD screen to replace the cartridge when you have only used about 18 pictures. What a waste of money. Also, there is a frequent warning on the LCD screen that insults your intelligence to ADD MORE PAPER.Here you want your pictures instantly only to have your hopes ruined.I notified Kodak about this problem. The CSR told me to connect the printer dock to have updated software added. I did as prescribed, but it did no good!Anyway, why should I have to update this contraption at all! This only serves purpose that the machine has flaws.

Editorial Review Offering you portable printing capabilities, the SiPix A6 Pocket Palm Printer connects easily to either PCs or Palm Pilots. While it may not be as fast as your in-office printer, this little gem weighs in at less than 1 pound and churns out documents at 2 ppm with a decent 400 dpi resolution. Overall dimensions are scarcely larger than some wallets (5.8 by 4.25 inches), and the thickness is less than 1 inch. Read more Reviews (5)
Lousy product, not supported by anyone I can find
I am trying to resolve my issue for this printer with the seller and this is not intended to be feedback for them.It is however a substantial warning for anyone who needs to print from a PDA.This is not the product you need...I promise. The manufacturer has discontinued this printer as well as a host of other products. They will sell you paper for this printer. However, you need to having a working product before bothering to buy the paper. In the handbook that came with the printer, they claim you will be able to find a driver online but you will not.Sipix lists no phone numbers, technical help, or any other help source to solve the problems.Do yourself a favor and find another solution. If you find one for a reasonable cost, let me know.I truly need answers.
The best little printer
When I was looking for a printer for my Toshiba e335 Pocket PC, I heard a lot of people who bought this printer had problems with their printer when their Pocket PC os was 2002.Well, I guess the company has fixed the problem because my printer works well with my pocket pc! My only complaint is that the printer is noisy and not quiet enough to use in a classroom setting when the room needs to be silent.A great buy!
Excellent Robust Portable Printer
...Portable printers are not meant to compete against laserprinters or ink jets. They are made to provide printouts under non-office conditions, i.e., field use, and except for environs were extreme heat-in-the-shade --- like deserts, are operant, a thermal printer is most reliable, needs little maintenance and consumes few resources.

Beware! They look nice, but filled with design flaws.
A year ago my company bought 300 of these printers.Since then, HP has had to replace 30% of the sheet feeders -- an obvious design flaw.Luckily they are still paying for those out of warranty. We also have had to send more than 20% of them back to HP for repair -- flashing ink cartridge light (even on fresh cartridge), won't print.HP is NOT paying for these now.Instead, they charge us [price](+ shipping) for each repair, plus downtime. We are going to try a Canon printer next. Most everything else HP makes, including the fabulous Jornada's our reps use, are good quality. But these Deskjet 350s obviously have serious design flaws.HP won't step up to the plate and help with repairs; so here is my NEGATIVE review.
Windows XP
I bought this printer with the "kit" since it was the only one that actually came with a battery. The paper feeder is clumsy, especially when compared to a Canon.
Is it a really printer?
This is the printer it design is not to print.Paper jam, stupid characters etc.etc.

Not Road Ready
If you travel by plane, this is not the printer you want. After 4 - 5 trips in a well packed piece of checked luggage, the sheet feeder mechanism will not feed paper. The printer still prints fine, but you must manually feed one sheet at a time. After several HP warranty exchanges, all printers ended in this same condition.
Designed for portability??????
I bought this printer with the intention of using it when traveling via plane, train or automobiles, what a concept eh?
