5-0 out of 5 stars Simple, fine printer.
It is exactly what I expected in that, I wanted a printer with the simplest function and inexpensive.
2-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for...
I bought this printer because I wanted high quality photo printing and I didn't need any of the bells and whistles that come with more expensive printers. It's a Canon, so I figured I could count on the photo quality. I was terribly disappointed though. I generally buy Staples brand photo paper for general photo printing, and it always worked fine with my Epson printer. But my first prints on this printer looked dull and muddy -- like I was looking at the images though a mild but annoying grey/brown haze. So I went out and bought Canon paper instead. The quality was somewhat improved, but still not what I had expected. So yes, I got a printer for under $30, but now to get even passably OK prints, I need to spend a fortune on Canon brand inks and paper. Not much of a bargain.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great printer, but mine jammed and broke in 2 mos.
Awesome printer, awesome price.I'd give it 5 stars if it didn't jam and become unusable. If no one else had this problem, then maybe it's random and normal. The thing is, this printer was so cheap, it doesn't bother me too much.Oh, and it works great with Mac. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Farewell to the $0.01 sheet of stamps.
It's the convenience stupid. Of course the stamps are not free unless someone has a give-away label site and I have not found it. The joy of having the exact postage at the time you print the address beats everything else hands down. I am a long time Dymo user and this continues their tradition of easy install. When I got their email description of this I did not hesitate. My only regret a used Dymo with, I am sure, years of useful life yet that is now unused. On the label question; keep your eyes on eBay. Amazing bargains often turn up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to install and use
I just purchased the Dymo LabelWriter and it was easy to install and use.So far it's been great.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not so good

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little printer!!
I bought this printer at the bequest of a customer for his home office install. It works great and the Bluetooth option is worth getting!Basically the only difference between the 460C, 460WF and 460WBT is the type of card includes for the Compact Flash slot.WF has a Wireless CF card, and the WBT has a Bluetooth CF Card.If your laptop is bluetooth capable and WBT option is great - no wires and setup literally takes 5 mins. The printer turns on quickly (the self test is only a few seconds) and printing is very fast for an inkjet.Quality is par with other inkjets (not laser quality but very close).I highly recommend this printer for travellers or people who need something with small footprint for small spaces or those who want something light/sleep looking.HP came up with a winner with the 460c. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Short and Sweet
I just bought this at my local store. It prints great pictures...it so easy to set up.Most of the comments below I agree with.I'll leave it to that!!

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best gifts I've ever received
I received the printer as a Xmas gift from my mother and brother in 2005. I love love love this photo printer.I was blown away by the print quality when I saw the very first picture that I printed. They look like they were developed in a photo lab. I've printed more than 300 photos and the quality of the print is the same as the very first picture.I love all the features of the printer especially the Disney borders.Since the printer is portable and does not require a PC, I have taken it to special events and printed photos to give to friends and family. Most of them have also been amazed at the quality of the photos. No more photo labs for me.I would highly recommend this printer to anyone and everyone.

2-0 out of 5 stars Great Pictures - Poor Hardware Quality
I purchased this printer 10 months ago after reading the reviews which all seemed great.I've always been an HP fan.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad for your blood pressure
I was all excited when my boss decided to get one of these to replace our typewriter labeling system. I remained excited until the first time I swtiched form one kind of label to another. After loading a diffrent label type I tried to print and nothing happened. Nothing happened the next 417 times I tried to print, either. Nothing happened after I tried all of the website's troubleshooting techniques. Then I called customer support. I put the phone on speaker and listed to hold music and promotional pitches for 1.5 hours before giving up. I hope they didn't throw away my typewriter...

2-0 out of 5 stars Beware reliability of power supply (based on earlier model 330)
I have two of the similar, earlier model 330, one at home and one at work. They have both suffered power supply failures, having survived through the warranty period but not much longer.Dymo's price for out-of-warranty repair is $75 each, which is a large fraction of the purchase price.
5-0 out of 5 stars Handy Little Gizmo
It sits there quietly until you need to print a label and there is where it shows how useful it is.

1-0 out of 5 stars Installation Nightmare!!!
I dont know about the installation on this thing. Tryed to install this with the Bluetooth card supplied and my new HP Pavilion with Bluetooth built in you would think it would be easy. No way!!. After two hours on my own, then two hours to a guy in India who did not know anything, I gave up. Boxed it up and sent it back. Its also bigger then you would expect, its not something you can put in a brief case with a laptop. Its way too big. Your better off bring a cheap LexMark printer with a USB cable.

3-0 out of 5 stars HP Deskjet 460 WBT Mobile Printer
This printer is a Great. Wish it was a little lighter and smaller but all and all its print quality is excellent.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Like This Printer
It works great out of the box.It communicates with my iMac, iBook, and my Palm 650 via Bluetooth, and travels with battery (no cables!).

4-0 out of 5 stars Great once you get it working...
I spent a long time figuring out why it wasn't working right. If you have problems with it not working at all, use the customer support at Dymo and search for USB or however you connected. It will then give instructions on how to reload the drivers which worked great. Also, make sure your label roll is TIGHT on the spool.Mine was a little loose and that really fouled it up. Now that I have it set up right it is great. You can add graphics and such to your labels. The labels also come in other colors.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it so far
So far so good. Very fast printing with excellent text quality. The software is very easy to use. I just hope it lasts longer than my Dymo LabelWriter 300 which died after 3 years of normal use. This printer uses an external power supply which is an improvement over the model 300 which used an internal supply that failed.

2-0 out of 5 stars Beware reliability of power supply (based on earlier model 330)
I have been a big fan of these printers.I own one vintage unit from when they were CoStar LabelWriters, and 2 LabelWriter 330 units. I still love the functionality, BUT ... now both of my 330s (one at home, one in the office) have suffered power supply failures.Dymo's solution is to send them back for a $75 repair (each). That's a large fraction of the purchase price. The power supplies lived through the warranty period, but not much longer ... so the calculation you must make is whether a unit that lives just about that long is worth the purchase price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little printer
This printer is a great inexpensive way to be able to print photos on the go.
4-0 out of 5 stars nothing is perfect!
this is very close. simple to understand...even simpler to operate...and terrific quality prints.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Prints from a Small Package
This is a handy printer, neat and small. You can insert your camera's memory card right into the printer and print out your photos. Of course you can only print out four by six prints, but that's one of the sacrifices because the printer is so small. However, it's size makes it easy to take on trips, after all you can hardly lug around a full size printer when you're taking the family to Disneyland. And there is one big plus and that is that they photo are pretty darned good, especially if you use high quality paper. Convenient and cheap too, what a deal. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Slow and unreliable
I have had this printer for almost four years now, and while it has saved my bacon on the road a number of times, it has also really let me down at some crucial moments. First, like a lot of older Canon printers, it is noisy and slow. It takes forever to get started on a page. But also like a lot of canons, when it is working right the output is beautiful.
1-0 out of 5 stars Nice Paper Weight. Now where's my printer i ordered!
This would be a nice printer. If only I could get it to print! Not to mention when I turn it on it makes a god awful sound like some thing is jammed.I've tried over and over to try to print something.I've checked my options, turned it on and off and still it sits there not printing. If your looking for a portible printer you have other options and I suggest using them.

3-0 out of 5 stars Poor paper feed
I have owned BJC 70 and BJC 80.Both have difficulty feeding automatically. I have had to guide each single piece of paper in order for the feed to catch.Read more

The Sony DPP-FP30 pops out professional-quality photos quickly and easily, and it's compatible with both Windows-based PCs and PictBridge digital cameras. affordable printer that prints a very good quality shot.i have particularly enjoyed working with black and white cartridges.a good buy indeed

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Printer
I got this printer not too long ago, and it has preformed pretty well so far.The pictures are good and it does not use too much ink, or so it appears.Again, the pictures are good quality, but they do take some time to dry. This might be because of the photo paper.I would suggest buying a usb cable as one is not included with the package. All in all, the cheap price and good pictures makes this a good photo printer.

2-0 out of 5 stars Nice design... but the photo quality is strongly lacking
I was strongly considering buying this printer - until I saw my friend's prints she made with it.

1-0 out of 5 stars I would not buy
I purchased one (from a local store not Amazon.com), brought it home and printed a photograph that I had previously printed on a Kodak EasyShare printer (my mother-in-law's).The resulting photograp was horrible, it had a very green tint to it.I then adjusted the various enhancement controls within the printer, the green tint remained.I checked the troubleshooting section of the manual, checked/cleaned the print heads, and still the problem remained.Given that the product is still on the market, I suspect I had a broken unit.

I love my picturemate, i can take pictures and print them soon after. I will say that it is a great product to buy. I have grand children who are on the move. Now with picturemate i can process pictures in my own home. Thank you picturemate.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ink runs out way before the paper
This is a fine little printer for 4x6 prints. And if it actually delivered anywhere near the stated number of prints per pack, it would also be economical. Because I don't print a lot, my ink runs out way before the paper does, leaving me with stacks of useless paper. Epson does not allow you to buy ink without also buying paper, so you are stuck. Other companies selling "compatible" ink cartridges are selling dy based inks, whereas the printer is designed to use a pigment base. So 3rd party ink solutions are not the way to go.

5-0 out of 5 stars Flawless after 2 months of heavy use
I already have a workgroup laser printer for my heavy printing needs. But manually feeding in Avery label sheets just to print a few address labels is a real multi-step hassle. So I got the Dymo Labelwriter and the only thing I've been asking myself is: why didn't I get this thing sooner?
4-0 out of 5 stars Dymo Label Printer a huge help

1-0 out of 5 stars It won't install
I never had a chance to use the Dymo LabelWriter DUO becuase it would not install and run with MAC OSX 10.4.4 or 10.4.5.Help desk personnel were very polite and professional but could not figure out how to get the LabelWriter to install. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Roadie Printer
I travel quite a bit and needed a small printer to work with my Dell 700m laptop. I'm in the technical field service area. I was trying to choose between the Canon ip90 and the HP 460 but the Canon was out of stock so . . .
4-0 out of 5 stars mobile printing naturally
The printer is fast and printing is always properly aligned on the paper. Quality of printed text is as good as any decent desktop printer and that is why I bought it in the first place. I am yet to try printing photos. Because this is a mobile printer the manufacturer needs to ensure that the unit will stand up to the hits and accidents caused by regular transporting. It might mean providing a second skin or a padded bag with the unit

5-0 out of 5 stars Works Perfectly!!!
Driver loaded first time no problem, battery charged quickly, test print came out perfect, test printed a 8.5 x 11 photo, it took about a minute and came out great on the included standard ink. The printer weight is 5.4 lbs with the battery installed it's not light but it's not that bad either. I owned a Canon portable, it lasted 10 months and had to be replaced under warranty, I quickly sold the replacement, they are slow and noisy, they cost way more, the ink cartridges are very tiny and expensive, I had to refill my own to afford to use it, the HP cartridges hold twice as much ink and are cheaper. If you've got money to burn then get the Canon, if not this HP is a deal and you get a battery with it, what good is a mobile printer without a battery? ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars USED IT HARD FOR 3 YEARS AND CAN'T KILL IT. :)
This is probably the most incredible & durable piece of electronic equiptment I've ever owned. It's like the Bunny in the battery commercials....keeps going...and going...and going.
4-0 out of 5 stars 5 years later
I bought this almost 5 years ago and it still works.the ink is too expensive, and the paper doesn't always feed right, but I've gone through a lot of other printers in the same period of time and this is the only one I still have and use. I travel with it and it gets banged around and has been dropped several times and otherwise abused.I was recently looking for a replacement--thinking that there should be something as good that is new and cheaper, but I was disappointed in everything I saw and I'm just going to keep using this one.It prints just fine (with some help) and is reliable.

1-0 out of 5 stars A waste of money
I bought this printer because I travel a lot.The first time I used it, it printed only half a page. After repeated requests for help, I got it to print --- quit working almost exactly to the date that the warranty ran out.Canon not helpful at all.I am looking for another portable printer but it will not be a Canon. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Photo lab quality at home
This cp-220 printer was easy to set up and print photo lab quality pictures right on my kitchen table, without my computer. Only one concern: I wish that the 4x6 paper did not have the post card lines/address/stamp on the back.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it
So far I am very happy with the printer. The prints look like they were done at a professional lab. The only thing I wish is that I could buy the ink and the paper separately. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
I needed a printer to go with my Notebook and this one filled the bill.It isn't cheap but you seem to get what you pay for. When at home, adding the Auto Sheet Feeder makes it as convenient as a stationary printer but with a smaller footprint.Highly recommend this one for the Notebook users.
