Great Product...
If you have a G4 iMac and the monitor is on the way out and you don't want to replace the inverter, this is the product for you.Makes life a lot simpler and easier for testing monitors or video cards.

Use your existing monitor with your new G5
It's hard to complain when your boss surprises you by replacing your 2-yr-old G4 QuickSilver with a brand new G5, even when you can't use it because your boss "forgot" to get you that sweet 30" Apple Cinema Display you've had your eye on. Ad is incorrect
They advertise this as a Male to Male adapter. The VGA end is Female as it should be since the standard monitor cable is male. I tried to find this out from Amazon but they make it very hard to ask a question or change an order once placed. The cable works Amazon is flawed. Were's the customer service?

Hard to find, usually too expensive
This is why Amazon in great. This product is hard to find elsewhwere, and usually $10-20 more! It works perfectly. If you have an Apple graphics card with an ADC connector, this cable allows you to use a standard VGA monitor - mine is a second monitor in a two-monitor setup. The first is a DVI monitor. Zenith ZDS-5005 Satellite Diplexer
I needed to use one cable for Direct TV Satellite and send a signal to my wifes Television in her work room so she could view Satellite T.V. It is very hard to run any further cables down to my main T.V. entertainment center so I bought two of these units. I figured the Antenna input/output jack on the Diplexer would work with the Satellite Receivers T.V. RF output jack because they are the same frequency and type signal.
Works like a charm

Not Good for USB Drives that Need Power
It wasn't clear (at least to me) from the write-up in Amazon that the cord isn't thick enough to supply power to a USB hard drive.Says so right on the package, but too late.So BEWARE if you were hoping to use this cord with an external USB drive (as I was)

the perfect solution!
FInally, an easy way for my older son to use all his game systems and DVD/VCR without having to plug and unplug everything. Its EASY to install and use. Even my 3 year old has figured out how to watch the VCR by himeself!

Poor Quality Control
I have run through 2 of these units.I should say up front that I didn't purchase them from Amazon.com, but a local chain electronics store.The first one never powered on.It was dead right out of the box.The store gladly exchanged it for another one which workd as advertised for about 4 months, then it's power supply went bad too.I could send it in for warranty work, but shipping would cost more than a replacement!I also didn't like having to get up to manually switch inputs, but I knew that when I bought the thing.My next one will NOT be a TERK brand, and will have auto switching, or remote controlled switching.I can't recommend this unit to anyone.
