Not good for the Price
this is not good for the price.if you Have to have PC2700 (333MHz), i guess you can get this one because it is reliable.but if your motherboard supports DDR2 (533, 667, +) then don't get this.Higher speed ram is almost as cheap, and if want performance and quality, you'll be glad you have fast ram.if you are Building a PC, don't build with this.Make sure you get a motherboard and processor that work with better ram; your computer only runs as fast as it's slowest component.

Worth the investment!
Installed on my HP 525 that was previously running 256 ram(intel pentium 4 processor) and was locking up more often than not. After installing this additional 512 ram, computer is now running more smoothly. Has extended the use of my computer for a couple more years. Installation was super easy.

Seems to be working great!
I purchased this chip for my 256MB RAM HP Pavilion a305w desktop.It's the first time I've ever upgraded my computer's RAM, so I was a little nervous.Once I had my case open, I put the extra chip in the extra RAM slot and started her up.Nothing happened.After fidgeting with internal hardware, fidgeting with the connections, and after switching the 256 with the 512, the computer finally came on.I now run a 768 and its been running smoothly ever since!

Stable Memory
My computer ran great with the extra memory. It recognized it right away. I upgraded from 512MB to 1.5GB. Very solid and relable

As expected
Made my computer run better. I upped from .5 Gig to 1.5 Gig. I'm glad I was able to get the same type of memory I already had, just in a larger size, by matching the KVR... number.

Do your homework before you buy PNY
PNY memory is not very specific on its products, check and re-check that the specs. are what you need. PNY is more a reseller of dubious memory brands of asiatic origin (not that others are'nt, but...), pay the extra and go for respected brands like Viking and Kingston, you can't go wrong. In the long term, it's a better investment.

Reliable product!!!
Does what it is supposed to do. Works fine with my SONY VAIO PCG-R505DL, quite a noticeable speed improvement.

Dell Inspiron 4100 with 1 GHz Pentium III
I installed this module on my three year old Dell Inspiron 4100 with a 1 GHz Pentium III and it works perfectly.The owner's guide for the computer said it used PC133 memory so the processor speed being right on the low end shouldn't have been an issue anyway.This card upgraded my memory from 192 to 384 (the Inspiron 4100 has two slots.It had a 128 and 64, so I replaced the 64).I have noticed a considerable speed increase, although it is slow sometimes because of how heavily the computer is used.I would recommend spending more on the 512 MB chip if you plan to use the computer for at least a year longer (I'm getting a new computer soon and this one will just be a family laptop afterwards, so the 512 would have not been cost-efficient for me.)If you use your computer as often as I do, this is still not enough.Knowing how graphics-intensive simple programs are getting, 512 should be the minimum installed in all computers these days, although I don't see that happening anytime soon.

256MB SODIMM PC133 SDRAM...
This isn't rocket science folks... Does your laptop use SODIMM PC133 SDRAM? If so, then it should work. I slapped in two sticks of the 256MB PNY RAM in my Dell Inspiron 8100 P3-M 1.2 GHz notebook.

disabling onboard video
there are many ways of disabling onboard video cards. 1st disable the bios for the onboard vid. card. Then enable the slot you put your video card in.
