Editorial Review The E252 is a 2.4 GHz accessory handset designed for use with AT&T's E2562 phone system (required, sold separately). The E252 has a number of useful features, including support for two-line operation and caller ID/call waiting compatibility. When registered to the E2562 base, the E252 handset provides both intercom and conferencing features, letting you communicate with other phones on the system as well as multiple parties at once. Excellent choice
We use the ATT E2562 Expandable base with a full compliment of 8 extra handsets. We use them in conjunction with our Vonage internet phone service which has two lines. The range is very good ... it goes all over the house and even into the neighbor's yard.It works great and gives us a lot of flexibility in putting phones where we want them.
Expected better from AT&T
I actually find the sound quality and range pretty good, but I think the system is designed poorly. I can't tell you how many times I have been on the phone and wanted to scroll through my caller ID to get a number for someone I was talking to. No dice, it won't do that. There are a number of issues like that. I can't program it to prefer line 2 to make calls. You may think this is a not a big deal, except I don't like to reveal the line 1 number to my clients via there caller ID. So there went my private line.
I love these phones
I needed a two-line phone for my home / home office. I looked at a lot of phones, and while none were "perfect" for what I wanted this one is close. I wanted two lines, a base station, and expandible handsets. This phone has all of that. The only thing I didn't need was the answering machine. I use Phone Co. Voice Mail. I wish this phone would tell me that I had messages in the VM, but it doesn't unless you use its built in answering machine. (The SBC phone did show a light when there was VM, but it was not a two line phone).

I bought my first unit at Best Buy. I've used it for a couple of months now. I find it to be the BEST single-unit telephone that I've ever purchased. It's easy, comfortable, has great sound, and is well featured. I highly recommend this product. (I am in the process of ordering two more from Amazon).

good for voice recording
This item is as it says, a voice recorder. It however is not good enough for recording music. This software is good and the product is easy to use. Even though I sent it back I'm still giving it a four out of five because it did voice recording just fine, I needed something to record music.

Great entry-level projector
I have been using my H31 for a month and can honestly say that I am completely satisfiedI use it in a room with high ambient light.Out of the box the projector was less that dazzling.Calibrating with an AVIA calibration disk and then constructing my own screen (plastic wallboard painted with Behr Silverscreen paint) gives me a projected image which is very good in high ambient light and phenomenal in a darkened room. For the price ($699-Visual Apex) this 480p unit can't be beat. Those who are unsatisfied in well lit rooms need to calibrate and consider alternate screens.
A great bargain in the home theater projector maze
I did a lot of research before buying a projector and DVD player for our basement theater. I have run 16mm and 8mm films for 30 years and was leary of video projection. I finally decided on the H31 because most of what we watch are old 3:4 black and white movies on DVD. I don't like TV and have no interest in watching HD programming. I did purchase the upscaling Oppo 971 DVD player to get the film-like look.
decent price but not very impressed with picture
This is a entry level projector, not suitable for prime time cinema experience. I bought it at VisualApex but did not like the picture quality. Picture with HDMI looks better but it is not very good with component video input. We are not very satisfied with this product but could not return it due to 20% restocking fee on VisualApex.

Excellent Slide Scanner
This is an excellent slide scanner and does exactly what it is supposed to do very well.Yes, it is somewhat slow, but only in comparison to regular flatbed scanners.I have the slides scan at maximum resolution, but have the final image resized to about 20%.This keeps the file size manageable (about 5 MB per scan) and still provides an image that fills the screen. With the digital corrections on (which does make a huge difference on old family slides), and some minor post-processing, it has been taking about a minute per slide.
Bob King
Slow but professional quality. Not simple.Huge learning curve.Scanning is an art and craft. You don't learn it overnight or even after many weeks. For the money, this is an outstanding choice.Remember, this is only good for slides and negative............not prints
If the software is bad, it doesnt matter how good the hardware is
I am not a techie but I have installed enough hardware of all kinds to know what it involves. I am also pretty handy with Photoshop and photography.

Excellent

Panasonic GigaRange KX-TG5566M Phone andKX-TGA552M Handset
Finally a phone and handset that is almost perfect. You don't have to read or listen to the "mushed" caller ID voice to identify when you want to answer the phone. You have many alternate choices... ring tones, pictures that pop up, and/or the blinking message light color. There are some weaknesses compared to the many other phones I have owned: 1) You can't customize the caller ID voice for your friends (but as mentioned above, you don't need this feature), 2) You can't dial from the speaker base without removing the handset first (what were the designers thinking?), 3) When you answer a call on one handset, the other handsets report the call as a missed call (just give up cleaning out the missed calls on the other handsets).4) The buttons are a small on the handsets. However, it's the best phone I've owned so far. What I'd like to have is the ability to load all the features from the PC based phonebook. You can't customize the ring tone, ring color, and picture pop up from the PC based phone book so when you load the individual sets, you do more than put the name and number in the phonebook. You spend a lot of time customizing all the handsets. I do like the fact that you can add a name and number on one handset and send it (or all of names) to the other phone sets (... only one handset at at time). It's a definite keeper once you get past spending a lot of time programming the custom features.I recommend that you buy extra handsets and get down to one 5.8 Ghz phoneset system.I had two different 5.8 GHz phones interfering with each other. Now these phones work everywhere in my house.
Excellent phone
I purchased this system from another vendor and bought two extra handsets from Amazon. This phone is outstanding in terms of ease of use and quality of sound. It is very easy to toggle between voice and speaker.

Terrific Printer for the Money; Handles the Basics Well
I also did plenty of research and bottom line ... I was looking for a multi-function (printer, fax, copy, scan) that did wireless out of the box without any added print server hardware and so forth. I purchased it for slightly over $200 from Amazon. This unit worked great out of the box. The wireless config was a breeze and the color screen made configuration especially easy. It prints well, copies well, and the software for the PC seems to work nicely and simply. This is not a top of the line multi-function ... but if you need quick and easy wireless printing, decent print quality, and don't print huge volume ... this is a nice choice.
Amazing small Printer
