5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product & Getting Better
I am not going go into all the technical information because everyone seems to be covering that. I am an owner operator truck driver that travels across the country and into Canada. Because I own my business I have to keep tons of receipts. Since NeatReceipts is still relatively new to the market of course there are going to be issues with it. Just look at Microsoft and how long they have been at it. No matter what you think of Microsoft you have to admit that they still put out a great product. Especially if you consider all the different applications that different people use and how they use them. Anyway, back to the NeatReceipts product. People are complaining about the program not reading all of the information. I have few instances that the receipt does not read well and that's usually because the receipt is graphics heavy. Even then it only takes about 10 seconds to use the drop down boxes to enter the correct info. If you had to sit for hours on end and enter receipts then you might have something to complain about but if you are using the program as you go or even weekly then this is hardly a problem. Also, every time you use the program it gets easier because it remembers such info as "Vendors" and "Categories." Another thing that I was really impressed with is their customer support. I have sent them an email twice already, once for praise and the second was to ask them to consider adding the option to set up an "Auto-Save" feature. Both times I had a personalized email answer within the hour. I was also told the "Auto-Save" option is going to be added in two weeks (end of September) when the new upgrade is released. According to the website they also plan to add color to the scanning with an upgrade this fall. The last point that I would like to make is that NeatReceipts put this product out and they are supporting it. They have been continuously putting out new upgrades which means that this program is only going to get better.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad product, Bad customer service
It's just a scanner. That's really all it is and if you already have one, then don't bother buying this one. The software to read receipts is horrible. It picks up random numbers and assigns them as the price, when it isn't. It also only reads the retailer's name on the receipt, if the name is in typical font, versus a logo. Most retailers use a logo font, so most of the time you have to enter the retailer name yourself. It does not save time!!! It takes a long time to scan, the software doesn't work, and the company's customer service is not knowledgeble.

3-0 out of 5 stars "Truth in Scanning"
The scanner is great and performs well.HOWEVER, if you think that you can scan your receipts into Neatreceipts and then export the scanned transaction to Quicken, BEWARE!The scanned documents resides in the Neatreceipt software and only the transaction is exported to Quicken. This might be OK if you want two separate pieces of software to maintain and update but not really acceptable. The current version of Quicken provides for attaching a scanned image to the transaction in the Quicken software.Neatreceipts doesn't allow you to do this.Secondly, you CANNOT export the Neatreceipt transactions directly into a Quicken checking or savings account.(It doesn't matter if this is a Quicken problem...it is a real problem nonetheless). If you want to export your scanned "transaction" (but not the image) to Quicken you have to export the transactions to a "dummy" account and then transfer within Quicken the individual transactions to the appropriate checking/savings account.I use Quicken heavily and a little math results in increasing my workload by some 200% in addition to mainting two separate sets of software!

5-0 out of 5 stars Well-designed phone for the visually/hearing impaired
The phone was easy to set up, with an adjustable ringer and speaker volume control. The flashing red light on top of the phone leaves no doubt when there is an incoming call. Instead of having it on the table, we have it mounted on a slanted platform in the kitchen.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cordless phone
The was excellent for my elderly mother that has trouble with sight and hearing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow - This Bundle is a MUST HAVE for Frequent Phone Users
Unbelievable how well this thing works. If you get everything dialed in correctly (your voice volume, etc), this thing is unbelievable. The range on it is just phenomenal. I've walked upwards of 50 yards away from my desk to our kitchen, with maybe no less than 6 or 7 office rooms between the kitchen and my desk, and I had absolutely no static. I'm very impressed with this product, a definite must if you are on the phone a lot. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Acceptalbe but not a great investment.
I got this free from HP when I bought a computer. I suspect HP sells these printers so cheaply because they make bigger money selling you ink.
4-0 out of 5 stars good for light use
For the price I paid ($40) its a good all in one machine especially for me because I use it only a few times a week so it has been serving the purpose just fine for me.

1-0 out of 5 stars HP - Bad printers, bad service, and a bad name.
Bought this all-in-one printer and the install disc was bad. Prints test page every time I turn it on. Won't print. Jobs get stuck and cannot cancel. Spoke with customer service for 1.5 hours! Yes, that long. They would not refund me and told me that I should have did a better job researching their products. They got that right. All I could get was a refurbished replacement that also performs like crap. HP has lost a customer forever, and I am making it my mission to share with everyone how terrible they are with products and customer service. Canon, meet your next customer. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars best prints I have ever seen
Easy install, no need to install any overbloated software. Great printouts on glossy and matt photo paper. Read the Manual on solving color managment problems if you use Photoshop CS2 so that what you see on the monitor is what you get. If you use Photoshop Elements it has a setting just for the epson R1800. Prints beautifull lables on TDK matt white DVD's with the included software. you can use nero's label making software but you must set the paper type to (epson stylus photo R800 A4) so that it is centered on the disk. All in all the best wide format photo printer I have seen .

2-0 out of 5 stars Mac Users Beware!
This printer does not print tiled documents from either Indesign or Illustrator. It also is very hard to set the page set up for the printer because the driver written for this printer conflicts with the settings in the print dialog box of the software. I have seen this happen in both Illustrator and Indesign. Very frustrating. I called Epson about this, they told me to call Adobe who told me to call Epson. I'm really sorry I remained loyal to Epson and didn't opt for the Canon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing printer for photos or art!
I first saw this printer in action when I saw someone turn a digital photo into a digital painting using Corel Painter (seeing the results from that software product, Painter, is what made me start looking at Corel software products for photos) and then printed it out on matte paper. Wow!!! Very impressive! The water color paints were amazing and the colors printed out were so vibrant and realistic, that I had to get this Epson Photo R1800 printer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Farewell to the $0.01 sheet of stamps.
It's the convenience stupid. Of course the stamps are not free unless someone has a give-away label site and I have not found it. The joy of having the exact postage at the time you print the address beats everything else hands down. I am a long time Dymo user and this continues their tradition of easy install. When I got their email description of this I did not hesitate. My only regret a used Dymo with, I am sure, years of useful life yet that is now unused. On the label question; keep your eyes on eBay. Amazing bargains often turn up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to install and use
I just purchased the Dymo LabelWriter and it was easy to install and use.So far it's been great.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great value, works perfectly
This is a great little device, bought for my wife's business. It records conversations between two people perfectly at its mid-quality and we are still on our first batteries even after considerable usage. Others have mentioned difficulty loading down to XP but it worked for us exactly as per the instructions (we have XP Home). The lowest quality was not good enough to hear clearly on play back but the capacity on its mid quality is plenty for this not to matter. HQ is very clear. I would thoroughly recommend it, especially at this price

4-0 out of 5 stars 4 stars for the device; 1 star for the software+driver
This is an excellent recorder. Very impressed with it. It's very sensitive and picks up anything at a distance. Sound quality is quite decent. We use it to record our baby's sounds.
3-0 out of 5 stars Cheap and handy
I've been using this little gizmo to record lectures for a while and I'm quite happy about it. It seems that the olympus voice recorders are becoming a standard: most of my classmates who record the lectures in class have one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little printer!!
I bought this printer at the bequest of a customer for his home office install. It works great and the Bluetooth option is worth getting!Basically the only difference between the 460C, 460WF and 460WBT is the type of card includes for the Compact Flash slot.WF has a Wireless CF card, and the WBT has a Bluetooth CF Card.If your laptop is bluetooth capable and WBT option is great - no wires and setup literally takes 5 mins. The printer turns on quickly (the self test is only a few seconds) and printing is very fast for an inkjet.Quality is par with other inkjets (not laser quality but very close).I highly recommend this printer for travellers or people who need something with small footprint for small spaces or those who want something light/sleep looking.HP came up with a winner with the 460c. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Does more than you think!
I really recommend this Sony ICD-P320. I gave it a workout and it worked great. I am really pleased with this unit. No complaints at all. I like the fact that the mic is on top of the unit and not on the side. That means you can put it in your shirt pocket with the mic pointed up, which means it won't be muffled. The Olympus did not do that. The record button is user friendly. It has 3 recording levels, and you need High Quality level for lectures in big halls.
5-0 out of 5 stars Sony recorder is a great deal for a reasonable price
I am a liberal arts student, and I purchased this recorder for two reasons+
5-0 out of 5 stars Digital Voice Recorder
I use this recorder with Dragon Naturally Speaking. It works seamlesslly with the with the software provided. I use a clip on microphone. The recording is good but I'm going have to train Naturally Speaking to understand the difference between what it hears when I dictate with the headset and that from the recorder. The accuracy from the recorder is about 75% compared to about 90%. Not fault of the recorder or their software.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good printer for Linux
My home network has a mix of Windows and Linux PCs. Like some of the other reviewers, I agree that the Windows setup instructions are a bit murky, but I had no problems. Also, the HP Solution Center application is fairly unhelpful, if you need help. One demerit for weak documentation and software.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great printer
I've had this printer for about 4 months now and it works great. The network setup was easy.I have 4 computers in my home printing to this computer, all are hooked up using a Linksys 54g router.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great printer but...
the documentation and installation manual should be abandoned immediately. Also, the supplied ethernet cable did not work.It was a combination of the extra plastic gaurding over the clips on each end of the cable, which thoroughly prevented either end from being plugged into either the printer or the router. Also, I was only able to use the third installation option where you have to set up the printer via the ethernet cable.Nowhere does it inform you of the most important step of the installation process. After the WPA information is transferred to the printer, you actually have to remove the ethernet cable from the printer in order for it to connect to the network. You will receive the Network Status: Not Connected, until it's removed.

3-0 out of 5 stars Problem with Borders
This printer literally sits on the same shelf as an Epson 3810 and Canon ip6600D.I also have a Epson RX500 somewhere else. So, I'm making direct comparisons here.
2-0 out of 5 stars Dismal service
Had to return replacement unit as it was clear it was dropped in shipping and would not feed paper. After many hours running tests and sitting on the phone they agreed to send a 2nd replacement. One area of disappointment was that the number to call for a UPS pickup was for a phone service call-girl. I tried to explain this to HP to no avail. All in all I found the experience disappointing.

2-0 out of 5 stars Poor Reliability
While I agree the photo quality is outstanding with this printer, mine failed after fewer than a dozen uses. The photo tray stopped feeding 4x6 paper, even after spending $25 on an HP paper feed cleaner designed for this model. To make matters worse, the replacement offer from HP is slightly worse than buying a brand-new HP 8250 printer direct from Amazon. On the plus side, HP customer service was extremely patient while I hunted for my misplaced receipt to prove warranty eligibility (which I couldn't). Ouch! UPDATE: The next day I finally located my receipt, but the 1-year warranty had expired by 10 days. HP would not honor the elapsed warranty and charged me the full replacement amount ($99) for another printer. Pretty chintzy. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Good B/W print/scans, poor software and color scans
Used this unit for a few weeks and returned.
3-0 out of 5 stars nice MFC, but requires a dedicated 15-amp circuit
This is a really nice MFC, but with a single 15-amp circuit in my basement/office and a 42" LCD & my P4-based PC hooked up, even with the TV off, when this baby fires up it trips my PC's APC, it basically requires a dedicated 15-amp circuit or anything hooked up to your circuit will probably have a shorter life due to constant power fluctuations (most people won't realize this because they don't run an APC with monitoring software on the same circuit).I ordered an HP 3055 to replace this since it uses 1/3 of the power (300 watts at peak, brother uses 1032 watts at peak). Do a search on google for '7820N amp' (or any brother MFC model with 'amp' or 'watts') and you'll see what I mean, others have the same issue.I think all Brother MFC's suffer from this, it's a shame because it's otherwise a nice MFC for a good price.

5-0 out of 5 stars All Functions Work as Marketed
Now into the second month of operations, the Brother MFC 7820N is working flawlessly.Print jobs come out quickly. Scanning typed documents into Microsoft Word works well.Faxing operations go smoothly.

There's not too much to say about this calulator - it does the job well. However, There's really only 4 buttons you use consistantly - Loan Amt/Pmt/Term/Interest.And they do make a calculator that just has those four buttons (plus calculator keys).

This is a very useful and needed product for everyone involved in real estate or that is a REALTOR.

5-0 out of 5 stars MY MISTAKE
I wanted "Calculated Industries 3415-KITRE Qualifier Plus IIIx Real Estate Success Kit" but received only the calculator and am still not sure of the right one to reorder. I found at least one but it had something about "Mortgages" and I'm not into Mortgages just Real Estate. I know from Calculated Industries WEB site they do have the Kit available and I thought I could surely get it from AMAZON. Maybe not! Hope so! Thanks Joe ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Great quality when it actually prints!!!
I've had this printer for a few months now.I intially installed it using the Ethernet port connected to my router.I was constantly plagued with error messages from it, so I switched to a regular USB connection. The problems didn't go away.Every time I go to print, I can expect to spend ten minutes playing with the paper loader hoping that the printer will recognize that there actually IS paper in it. When it actually does print, the quality is outstanding but it is so unreliable that its hard to pleased with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars High quality inkjet with built in ethernet!
Just an overall high quality color inkjet printer with built in ethernet!!About time for an affordable built in ethernet solution.Us customers know it only takes a couple of dollars to add an ethernet port, THANKS for finally doing it to a home inkjet printer!

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing deskjet
I've been in the computer world for many years.I am a die-hard HP fan but the past few Deskjets have not really had the WOW factor to them.Until this one.I just recently purchased it and it was hooked up in no time on my network, all 5 computers can print to it simultaneously and it doesn't have any problem handling the spooling.

3-0 out of 5 stars WOrks well.
Works well. SOmetimes, it flakes out and i have to uninstall USB drivers, to get it to work again.
4-0 out of 5 stars Works fine so far
I just got this remote today. I plugged in the RF receiver to my laptop, opened up a powerpoint presentation and it worked! There was not much else to it. The instructions say that if you are a Windows user you need some kind of software and if you are a Mac user then you dont need the software but I think that might be the other way around because I am a windows user and I didnt need any software. I look forward to using it so that I can actually move around while I teach. Be careful... the switch that you use to advance forward is quite sensitive. I get the feeling I will accidentally moving forward more than one slide quite a bit.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great remote - works as advertised
I bought this remote to use both giving PowerPoint presentations and demonstrate other software applications in front of an audience.Having the ability to use the little trackball on the presentation remote, allows me to move away from the computer and walk out in the audience - allowing for a more interactive presentation.

1-0 out of 5 stars Whatever Happened to AT&T Quality?
After two days the color display failed. The display looked like an old film with vertical lines and no color.
5-0 out of 5 stars Works great
Good construction, right size (buttons are big enough to use) and sounds great.Replaced a high-end office-type cordless and this phone is better than the last set (Siemens).
3-0 out of 5 stars Nice sound but I don't expect longevity
Nice sound characteristics, I have 3 handsets and within the first month I had to exchange two of them. One of the number buttons stopped working on one and the other just stopped working. The batteries also last too short a time before needing charging, I may buy a stronger non AT&T battery to try to solve that problem.Though the sound quality is good, in hindsight, I wouldn't buy it again in. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Great price for a decent printer...
I researched for a while trying to find a reasonably priced, reliable printer that works well and I think I've found it. The HP D4160 got pretty good reviews on various sites I looked at (including Amazon) and so I decided to purchase it.
