great phone
I bought this to replace a horrible GE cordless phone system. Crystal clear reception, the people I talk to have no problems hearing me either. The only have two complaints I have is that the voice mail memory doesn't store enough digits to put my password in. However, the normal memory entried for my call directory does have enough. Strange, but no biggie. I love the ability to copy the memory over to the expansion sets I bought. However, the special rings for memory entries do not copy. Again, no big deal it would just be nice. Completely happy with this phone and I highly recommend it to others.

Excellent phone
Best phone I've ever had. Good clear signal everywhere in the house. Lots of nice features. Up to 100 memory locations for storing frequently called numbers (I only need 20). Programmable ringtones so you know who is calling as soon as you hear the ring.

BUZZ makes 2-line feature completely unusable
This phone has some really fantastic features. As a 1 line phone I highly recommend it. If you add the 2nd line, you CANNOT use both lines. As soon as the 2nd call comes in, the 1st call line is filled with loud buzz and the caller is inaudible.

Bye bye Uniden- Hello Panasonic
I really didn't want to return this phone.I loved the idea of a corded base phone with a huge called ID display,and a satellite 5.8 ghz cordless.And the sound was excellent, both on the answering machine and the cordless.So whats not to love?
Cordless Phone System
We needed to replace a telephone and answering system, due to age of the old system. The Uniden system has proven to be a very suitable replacement. The instructions are very complete and understandable. The ringer is distinctive and quite loud. Sound quality is quite good. The only drawback is the delay between pressing a number key and the tone associated with it. Overall, we are very pleased with the phone system.

TERRIBLE RELIABILITY
Even though I have used my printer (a Pixma 5000) very lightly, it jams regularly on Canon photo paper and then spills ink everywhere. Today it went into "service error 5700" and it doesn't work any more, even after rebooting it five times.

Great--but watch ink prices!!!
This product is the best multifunction inkjet printer on the market, bar none.It is a great update to Canon's MP780, in that print and scan speeds have increased, and the scanner scans both sides of a document at once, which is super.Based on its features and performance, it is a 5 out of 5 stars product.Nothing else comes close.
Very Good MultiFunction Printer - Recomended
A short review here. I've had this printer for about 8 months now and have been very impressed. All aspects of the printer work quite well and photos also come out good looking even though that's not this printer's main purpose. Installation went well and I have had no reliability issues with it over the last 8 months. That time includes several semesters with a lot of printing done for grad school.

Excellent Printer; VERY ANNOYING Messages re: Ink Cartridges
I have no complaints about the output I receive from this new all-purpose Canon Printer.What I find VERY ANNOYING, however, are the frequent error messages about the various ink cartridges, all of which are Canon brand.Without warning, I will receive error messages, for example, that the printer detects more than one "magenta" cartridge, when, in fact, there is only one magenta cartridge.I then remove the "blinking" magenta cartidge and place it back in the appropriate magenta printer cartridge slot.Sometimes, the same error message immediately reappears.Other times, I immediately receive another error message about another cartridge being, either missing or present more than once.Sometimes, the printer works fine.If I receive an error message, I immediately remedy the problem and then hope for the best.This is increasingly annoying and definitely detracts from my overall satisfaction with the printer.I contacted Canon phone support about this and their response is to send me replacement "magenta" and "black -No. 5" cartridges. While I appreciate receiving the new cartridges, this will not remedy the underlying problem.If others have had this problem, please write a review, especially if there is a solution!

Good phone, but headset needs frequent replacement
I've had this phone for about 2 years, and it's worked well. My only complaints:
Plantronics Cordless Headset Phone
The sound quality is hissy, and wavy. When we pull the headset off the receiver and plug it into a different phone, the sound quality is better. So the headphones/microphone assembly is top notch. The tiny little receiver unit isn't as good as others. However, for a person with limited use of the hands, the small receiver unit is easier to hold and dial.

The Best B/W Laser AIO with ADF for SOHO
After having different AIOs including Brother 7820N and Samsung SCX-4521F I just I love this HP model 3055. This is what makes it better then the rivals:
Perfect for my home office
I love this all in one, it's a little big, but much better then the brother 7820N I got first, while the 7820N is smaller, 7820N had some page curl and eats 1032 watts at peak which kept tripping my computer's APC, this unit does not have paper curl and only hits 300 watts peak which is well below my circuit capacity. I would recommend this unit over all MFCs on the market, and with the currect 50% rebate going on for OCT, it cannot be beat for the price. If you need a B&W laser all in one, this is the best.

Fantastic Multi-Function Device, Solid Functionality
11/16/06: I have already scanned over 1000 documents on this machine in the last few days. After dealing with a multitude of configuration options and issues, it has performed solidly as a scanner. It did experience many paper Jams using the Auto Doc Feeder, however, you can reduce the frequency of these jams by NOT scanning through a wireless network - which tends to cause jams due to wirless network interference that delays communication between the mfc and your pc. Using the USB port, the jams were much less frequent.

Everything is relative....
this might seem to be a long review but i believe it would be of help to you =) and i am going to say lots good things about this headset but please be advised that your milage may vary, and more importantly there are cheaper headsets out there, which is probably a concern for many of you.
Very poor design
Overall this unit has a very cheap and flimsy feel.Voice quality was OK both in and out.However, the charging case does not hold the unit securely, causing the unit to quit charging.Forget the pocket battery charger because it definitely will disconnect causing the unit, once again, to quit charging.The owners manual is printed so small that I had to use a magnifying glass to read it.In summary, just a very poor design.

The main reason i went for this one is because it didnt have one of those bulky ear hooks and i wear glasses and it was very uncomfortable with those bulky ear hooks.

The most amazing calculator for its value
For more than 20 years, Casio has maintained and upgraded this classic design (my first calculator, was a FX602FP more than 20 years ago).I find it terrific, easy to use for the casio habituee, and for those eager to learn it, there is no match to the intuitive way the functions are arranged and called for in this device.Amazing price, with dual power, cover and manual.Congratulations to the design team, for packing so much for so little.

Helps avoid errors
I agree with the views of "Anonymous" about this calculator. Rather than repeat what he said, I would like to point out that an important feature of this calculator is fractional input. This is important when there are complicated numerators and denominator (something like (45+ 6 sin(pi/2))/(sq root(1.006)*15.0987). Using this mode, the display type is smaller and the entire complicated fraction can be viewed in natural format. Not having a single line of type scrolling off the screen helps avoid errors. Usually, an entire complicated expression fits on a screen.
Best scientific calculator yet, but with some annoyances
This calculator does some great things: solve 2nd and 3rd degree polynomials (quadratic and cubic equations), solve 2-eq-2-unknowns and 3-eq-3-unknowns (must be in the correct form), solve equations of any form that contain 1 variable type, convert degrees/radians, convert rectangular/polar, solve integrals/derivatives/summations that have numeric answers, it keeps answers in "exact" notations (a result can show up to be "5/2 pi", and press a button to toggle the decimal value), it can do simple matrix operations on up-to 3x3 matrices, it can accept an "f(x)=..." and produce a table of values when you input the start value, stop value, and step (you must limit it to 30 results), and you can input a bunch of data values and instantly calculate the mean and standard deviaion. The screen is huge, allowing for menus that haven't been possible on previous scientific calculators, and it's easy to enter fractions with lots of stuff in the numerator/denominator.

Great little personal fax
I use this only about 5-6 times a month, so no heavy use; but it works well, goes fairly quickly, hasn't jammed or had a line error yet, and the faxed pages are clear and legible. Easy to setup and program, took about 5 minutes to set name, phone #, and other stuff.

College student must have, esp. with a Mac
I am a college student, and this unit is perfect for me. It was not terribly expensive, and definately saves me when I am going over notes from lecture trying to figure out what I meant by what I scribbled down. The quality is fine for me, Iectures are clearly heard, although I sit in the front of the class to pay attention. Backround noise is picked up, but I suppose that is inevitible.
WMA *ONLY*
The unit works pretty well, but only supporting WMA (rather than MP3 or Ogg or some other non-Windows media format) would be nice.No point in buying it when there are other units that don't lock you in.

Recording and listening
I bought the recorder and started using it.Relatively easy to use.Records fine but can't listen to what is recorded.Sound quality from built in speaker is bad.

Crops pictures severely!
This unit is easy to use and makes great looking prints however as my wife found out after her first weekend trip with it, it crops off the top and bottom of the picture file.I bought her the package which included the Canon 520 camera and this printer.She printed out pictures of people and found the tops of heads cutoff.The reason is the proportions of the sensor on the camera are more square than4x6 so the printer just cuts off the top and bottom of the digital picture file.No warning in the manual, no way to print the full picture file on a 4x6 paper by leaving space at the ends.Nice work Canon!

I mainly bought this scanner because of reviews that mentioned being able to save things in PDF format. Well, it's easy once you figure it out--but that took me over 90 minutes!

Simple, fine printer.
It is exactly what I expected in that, I wanted a printer with the simplest function and inexpensive.
You get what you pay for...
I bought this printer because I wanted high quality photo printing and I didn't need any of the bells and whistles that come with more expensive printers. It's a Canon, so I figured I could count on the photo quality. I was terribly disappointed though. I generally buy Staples brand photo paper for general photo printing, and it always worked fine with my Epson printer. But my first prints on this printer looked dull and muddy -- like I was looking at the images though a mild but annoying grey/brown haze. So I went out and bought Canon paper instead. The quality was somewhat improved, but still not what I had expected. So yes, I got a printer for under $30, but now to get even passably OK prints, I need to spend a fortune on Canon brand inks and paper. Not much of a bargain.

I've owned my DS-1 shredder for a couple of months and love it.It features a strong motor and shredder teeth.I like the basket attachment which makes disposal easy. I'm giving the product 4 stars because it recently stopped working; only works in reverse.Manufacturer is sending me a replacement right away so they get a 5 stars for customer service.

Just what I needed
Just what I needed for my home office. My first use was to clear out a decade's worth of old financial papers.Over a few days, I generated three large garbage bags of shreds for recycle, which is the heaviest duty I'll ever need from a shredder.The DS1 never missed a beat.It's strong enough for what I need to do, and looks good doing it.
