1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY BROTHER 2070N IF YOU NEED A NETWORK PRINTER
This company (Brother) is totally ignorant on networking. They have based networks on "AUTOIP" which is irrelevant to office and home networking. Therefore, it does not configure on regular DHCP configuration.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
good quality and design. very easy to setup with network. you can not misschance to get this last printer for less $100.

4-0 out of 5 stars Quite Nice
I purchased this laser printer because it has Network capabilities at low cost.It is very fast.I have an older much more expensive HP laser and the start up time to print is much slower than this model.Of course that probably has something to do with age (3 yrs old).

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good so far
I was a bit nervous about buying this printer because there were no reviews yet on Amazon and my wife has had all kinds of software problems with an HP Photosmart printer that she bought last year (against the advice of dozens of Amazon reviewers). But after looking around a bit, I decided that the HP LJ3050 looked like the best all-in-one laser machine for the money. And I really loved my previous all-in-one, the HP LJ3100, which had served me well for 8 years.

If you bought yourself a financial calculator during the 1980s, chances are it was this bad boy. Nothing has changed since its introduction--it still uses Reverse Polish Notation (RPN), is easy and versatile in programming, and has a thin, sturdy casing. Certainly, there's been newer, fancier calculators introduced since, but there's something to be said for the quality of classics.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, inexpensive calculator
It does take a full cover removal to replace the batteries, but when calculating NPV of my network of metalworking sites at [...], it saved me a lot of time. It's not as "pretty" as the standard finance HP calculator that's been around for ages, but at under $20 from your local WalMart, it's a steal! BTW, the cover is difficult to remove at times and the LCD screen is a bit underpowered (a LED version would have been nicer), but it's still a bargain.

Be careful when buying this calculator.

5-0 out of 5 stars After thorough research, I bought three of them
I meticulously researched available printers. I wanted a laser for quality printing without worrying about dried out ink cartridges when I didn't print anything for a long time. I wanted duplex printing to save paper. I didn't even know this printer could print multiple pages on a sheet until after I set it up. That was a welcome bonus! I wanted something to produce quality graphics and photo print-outs, not too expensive to purchase or to maintain, with low cost per page / toner use. I got it all.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Duplex Printer
I was originally going to purchase an HP LaserJet, but due to it being out of stock, I opted to order this printer. I have to say I am glad I did. My first impression was that it reminded me of my old Samsung QwikLaser, but the print quality and machine quality exceeds what I had expected for $250. My main reason for purchasing this machine was to print duplex technical reports, which my HP Color LaserJet can't do (can't print duplex), and toner for that machine is exponentially more. I have read that the print cost for this machine is about $0.02 a page, which is good in comparison to others costs, and I do not see any "chip" in this toner cartridge, as most new lasers have.
5-0 out of 5 stars Network issues for this printer solved.
I had the same network issues some other posters mentioned. I decided to solve it myself. The exact symptoms were that after a long period of inactivity, print jobs over the network could not wake up the printer. I ran a network sniffer to determine what was going on. I noticed that my laptop was requesting a name resolution for the printer (name to I.P. address mapping)using NetBIOS broadcasts. Since my network does not have a NetBIOS domain controller or a host to reply to that query, the client (laptop's) queries went unanswered and the printer never even knew that someone was trying to send it a print job. This is a software/network configuration issue that will be specific to some setups, and not necessarily a product bug- so you may or may not be affected by it, depending on your network.

4-0 out of 5 stars I really like this phone!
I've had this phone for a few weeks and really like it.It has a lot of features, is easy to program and figure out, and the sound quality is quite good.I wanted a separate key pad on the base, but I didn't need a land-line phone attached to it - so the universe I was looking at was somewhat reduced. I bought and returned a GE-25841GE3, which had bad sound quality. I have no complaints about this phone at all. I'm rating it 4 rather than 5 only because I don't use Caller ID, and it appears from other reviews that there may be some issues there. Otherwise, I think this phone rocks!

2-0 out of 5 stars Good functions, bad display
I bought this calculator a few years ago for a finance class, and it was easy to use and performed well. I am now taking some other classes that require present value calculations, so I dusted off the calculator. It worked for about a week before the display started malfunctioning. I bought new batteries as other people did, but that is not the problem. I also reset it in the various ways described in the manual, but the display was still malfunctioning. It is very disappointing since the calculator was not actually used that much.

1-0 out of 5 stars PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...
I have owned this calculator for 3 months and the dispay is no longer working properly.Parts of the numbers have "burned out" so only parts of the numbers show now.At first I thought it was the batteries.SO I bought replacements and that was NOT the problem. It is now completely useless. At $30, this calc is 10x's more than what a basic calc costs, so that is no excuse for such a poor quality product.PLEASE read the reviews - they all say the SAME thing.I was a fool for buying this.I hope this will help you.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not Reliable, but highly useful.
Recently the screen on my HP 10bII Financial Calculator stopped working. At first I thought I simply needed new batteries, unfortuntally this was not the case.I owned it for just over two years before it broke down on me.So what did I do?I purchased another one. While I am disappointed with the reliability, I find it to be a highly convienent useful calculator.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not blue but green...
In the product desciption it states that the antenna lights up in three colors: blue, amber and red, or multicolor, but in reality its not blue, but green. (Happen to love blue, so that's the reason of the review.)

2-0 out of 5 stars Microphone stopped working after 1 year in use
Very dissappointed with this unit. We liked it features and the sound quality. However we have been using it for just over the year and the microphone just stopped working. I would have expected a higher quality product from Panasonic!

3-0 out of 5 stars seemed like a good idea
I am hearing impared and us a headphone..i was having a harder and harder time hear with my old headphone so I thought I' get a new headphone AND new phone....I teste the headphone with my old panasonic Kx-tc1457band with the volume control it was plenty of volume for me to hear better....then I hooked up the kx-tg5621s with high hopes because I liked the look and feel and features, unfortunatlywith the headphone volume all the way up, the volume on the phone all the way up and with or without the voice enhancer I couldn't hear very well...it's very clear but not enough volume....for those who arent impaired, you can imagine how deaf I am...any way I tested it for a couple of days thinking I need to get used to the noise canceling, etc.....but problem is if the voice on the other end isn't loud enough...I'm out of options.....I went back to the old 900 mhz with three volume settings on the phone and volume control on the headset..and can hear now with volume to spare...

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Scanner
I have scanned about 2,000 slides into my Macintosh computer. The results are excellent and the capability of doing 12 35 mm slides in a batch reduces the amount of time required.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Scanner
I have had great success with the 9950F. The only problem I had was after the first time I used the scanner. I couldn't find it in my computer. The manuals etc., after loading software placed them on my desktop, but the scanner wasn't there. I hunted and hunted, then decided to put it in search and my computer searched all drives and it couldn't find it either. So I decided to reload the software and it came up already loaded, but the manuals etc. which were on the Desktop and would open when clicked, said they weren't loaded and they recommended loading this software. Anyway, after frustratingly searching, I accidentally found the 9950F under Import in Adobe Photoshop Elements II, Elements came with the scanner. Hope this tip helps someone else. The first thing I scanned, was a 35mm negative, 100 ASA Fuji film, which I enlarged to a 13X19 print; it is excellent. You can't tell it wasn't printed 10 years ago by a professional lab, before all this new technology. I highly recommend this scanner. Also be sure and place black paper over open spaces after loading negs or slides, as the instructions recommend. The scan goes much faster. I tried a shortcut and used the cover of a notebook and it left some open spaces and this took extra time. I bought some black paper and placed it at right angles so all open areas were covered. This sped up the scanning process immensely. I used an Epson scanner at our local library. It was a 2400X4800 dpi and it did a nice job. I read reviews for months before I parted with the cash for my own scanner and I am very pleased with my choice. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Gold, uh, Silver Standard in Financial Calculators
No, the quality heft and feel of the original (1981) 12C calculators made in Oregon, USA, is not quite there in the latest "Made in China" incarnation. But just about everything else is better than the original, including speed of program execution (3-5X faster), number of programmable steps (now 400), and additional support for Algebraic input mode on top of the default RPN. Now it even has an Undo function, albeit one of fairly limited usefulness, in addition to the fairly useful backspace function. This thing is still the "gold" standard in its category, with a silvery finish or otherwise.

4-0 out of 5 stars Some kinda cheap look
I needed a financial calculator and I had received a lot of good feedback from 12c owners. This added to my experience with two HP calculators one 15c and one 48G, told me I couldn't go wrong with this special edition.
5-0 out of 5 stars An EXCELLENT Choice for a Financial Calculator or 12C Upgrade!
This will sound crazy to everyone except those like me, but I have become an HP 12C FANATIC because of this calculator. I have gone through the entire manual (with the exception of programming) and thoroughly enjoyed learning all of this calculator's features.

1-0 out of 5 stars Only RPN calculator allowed when I took the PE
If this hadn't been the only RPN calculator allowed, I wouldn't have purchased it.I agree with all of the other reviews regarding the horrible "key action." In addition, in my exerience the calculator has a much short battery life than my older HPs, a general flimsey feel, and I had no confidence in the results of my calculations (due largely to the key action).I did pass the PE exam, but my lack of confidence in the calculator (even though I bought it and used it at work for 6 months before the exam) added a lot of unnecessary stress to the experience.
2-0 out of 5 stars mr
you really don't need to buy this product if you don't have time to read through its text-book like manual.

5-0 out of 5 stars HP 33s the 15c lives on
I have had this calculator for almost a week now. I am currently a junior level mechanical engineering major as well as a math/science tutor. I have four other hp calculators, the 30s, 48g, 49g+, and my favorite, a 15c. I have to tell you that i am a huge fan of the 11c and 15c calculators. I think that they are the perfect blend of size and functionality. I also like my 49g+ a great deal. Due to the increasing popularity and value of the 15c, I was looking for something similar that I could throw in my back pack and take to school with out the fear of it being stolen or distroyed in some insane scooter accident. This calculator interfaces exactly like the 11c and 15c. It has the exact same program interface as well. Programming this thing is fun and easy. It makes you feel like a hero to be wizzing through some of these lengthy formulas while others are frantically pushing buttons. It even one-ups the old dogs by offering a way to imbed messages and equations in your programs. It also can prompt you for variable inputs instead of storing the variables before you run the program. In short, I love this thing. I am shelfing my 15c for the collector value. Also, I understand that there are 20 some odd years of improvements between the 15c and the 33s, but it is funny to program in the same equasions and watch how the 33s instantaniously displays the result, while the 15c flashes "running" for 10 seconds. Buy this calculator, its amazing. Learn to use RPN. It will make you smarter, lol, maybe not, but it will make you examine long math problems much more efficently. This is a great machine with a great lineage. Maybe it helps that I live in Corvallis Oregon where the 10c series was birthed and have talked to some of the engineers who built these things, but i love them. If you are looking to put away a vintage calculator that is increasing in value without learning a whole new operating system, or are in the market for a super fast super versitile programmable scientific calculator, this is your best bet. Don't wait till the FE exam to get it. You can master programming this thing in a few hours if you know RPN, and a couple of days if you don't. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars HP PhotoSmart C3180 - Excellent!
My Epson Inkjet died and I needed a new printer pronto. Tried HP because unlike Epson, you get a new print head with each cartridge plus the Epson inkjets have a bad history of drying out from infrequent use and completely dying, like mine did.
4-0 out of 5 stars THE 3RD TIME IS THE CHARM--SO FAR, SO GOOD....
This is my 3rd purchase of an HP All-In-One Printer, Scanner, Copier. I owned the PSC ALL IN ONE 2100 for 3 1/2 years until it coughed and died last month. Then September 18, 2006, bought the F380 HP, it was dead on arrival. Said I would "NEVER" buy another HP. Well, I ended up bringing the F380 back and getting the HP C3180. So far, so good. I have owned this printer since Sept 19, 2006 and it is doing great as yet. Scans flawlessy, prints everything, including pictures perfectly. Printer is quiet and copies quickly! The only things SO FAR that I can say negative about this is that it DRINKS INK! The reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5: 1) Drinks Ink 2) I miss the old software that the previous HP All in Ones came with, the newer photo software is bare bones at best. Bought MS Picture It as it has more features. 3) Have only owned this about 3 weeks. I plan to do an update on this should it "DIE" on me...Till then...

1-0 out of 5 stars Can't hear caller
It's very hard to hear the caller on both handsets.Nothing seems to help it.I've had good luck with Pansonic cordless phones prior to this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars F A B U L O U S !!!
This phone has everything I have been looking for. Instructions are excellent and easy to read. The phone is easy to handle. Very light in weight. The ring tones are perfect in sound. The range is excellent. The VM access is easy to set up. The ring color is fun for the kids to change every day. We have been looking for a speaker phone and it is great that it is in the handset and not the base.Very mobile. The keys are very comfortable to use.Phone book gives you plenty of saved names. The menu is easy to use.Redial, call waiting, and hold work well without any complications. We all love it. The price was Fabulous as well for everything that you get. The sound is solid.I can hear clearly.THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PHONE Purchase.

5-0 out of 5 stars After 2 years of use, its STILL a 5 star printer
I've had my i9900 for almost two years now.I've printed everything from 4x6 glossy prints to 13x19 fine art prints on matte paper. The short review:This printer is amazing.Read on for a longer review.
1-0 out of 5 stars Great if you only want it for a year
I bought this printer and it was great for a year. The photo printing quality was excellent. It was fast etc. Then it died, Canon service misdiagnosed the burnt board as a power supply issue first then wanted $300 for the repair. Others have reported the same here and elsewhere. Buyer beware on this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely great printer
This is an amazing printer. It is very easy to set up (takes about 10 minutes) and performs almost instantly.I have a mac and I'm always skeptical about adding new printer drivers, but this worked out easily enough.I'm sure it does work, but the firewire connection on my computer didn't read the printer. However, it worked like a charm when I plugged in the USB cable.
