5-0 out of 5 stars For 79 Bucks this phone is awesome.
I've seen the biggest complaints by the negative reviewers are lack of extra features. Well, considering that the phones that have those features are up to 3 times more expensive but that this phone gives you all the quality and a lot of other great features, I can live with it.
5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely wonderful phone
In past I have used a variety of cordless phones. But, I always had an issue with the life of the phone. None of the phones lasted me for more than 1 year and few months. Last time I bought a Panasonic phone. I'm extensively using this phone for over 3 years and no degradation in performance. No stuck keys, no faded voice and not even the weakened battery or non responsive battery contacts (which is a problem with most of the rechargable cordless phones). Best of all is the speaker phone on the handset. This made me fan of Panasonic. This is phone is still working beautifully after 3 years of extensive use.
5-0 out of 5 stars Just confirming previous reviews
Like anybody these days, we have plowed through the gamut of corded and wireless phones. I put a little time into research before I bought this Panasonic phone and it was worth it; the unit is a winner and satisfies it just about all respects. It is easy to use and set up and has performed well. I especially like being able to set up a phone book on one handset and beam it to all the other handsets. The intercom feature also gets a lot of use since we have three floors to cover. I have also made use of the custom ringtones (and even the color of the flashing LED on the antennae) so I know when I don't want to pick up the phone (i.e. when the in-laws call). There is even a speakerphone. The handset is solid and feels good in your hand. The voice quality is good - not as good as a corded phone but much better than the other wireless phones I have tried. In addition, the 5.8 GHz frequency does not interfere with our wireless computer network.

2-0 out of 5 stars After Six Months: Persistent Complaint
I have had this phone for over six months and I agree with much positive that has been said. The sound that I hear when others speak if very strong, but over time I have had to change phones (to a non-cordless) countless times when people have said they could not hear me or that I should "speak up."When I do change phones, the response is that it is "much better!"I know that cordless and corded have different technologies, but one should not need to shout into a phone, ever. There are several settings on this Panasonic that make what I hear crisp, boosted, "improved," but nothing to help others hear me (I speak to groups every day for my work and my voice is good).I am actually in the market for a replacement set of phones---and would greatly appreciate someone telling me of any cordless, Panasonic or other, that transmits a voice loud and clear.

5-0 out of 5 stars Terrific phone, terrific features, terrific value
This phone does pretty much everything I'd need.Positive surprises is that the handsets have speakerphones built in, and the handsets can all access the anwering machine.I've had pretty bad luck with reception with other wirelesses in my house, the only phone that worked OK was the expensive and finicky engenius brand. This Pana works great and the 3-handset system costs less than any of the single handset versions I've had in the past. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Very easy to use.
This is a good recorder, and very easy to use. My son and I went through the instructions in about 10 minutes, setting the time, date, etc., and learning how to make and play back recordings. The sound quality is good.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great quality but poor instructions
The digital recorder has a great quality and I suggest to anyone who wants one to get one. The only issue I had with the Olympus was when I tried to record on another folder, the machine would not record. It kept displaying the message "Full" and would not allow me to record. It promises 16 hours of recording but I could only get 4 hours. I had to erase important data to record new data. Again, great quality, poor features.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great quality for the money
This is one of the cheapest voice recorders, and it delivers!I think it would be good for any use such as school, interviews, etc.It has hours of recording time, which I don't think I need that much, but you can also index your recordings so it's easy to go back to a certain spot you want to remember. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Has anyone ever wondered...
why TI doesn't slap a high-res color LCD and large flash memory on these things? Maybe make them half the thickness and weight. What, would it cost an extra [...] for them? We have come quite a long way in the last 10 years... This technology is overpriced and stuck in the early 1990s.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Practical Graphing Calculator
This calculator has all the functions you need for math up to Calculus and it doesn't have all sorts of unnecessary features. The major difference between this calculator and the regular TI-83 is this has more memory and it has the Applications button that can store programs useful for math classes.
5-0 out of 5 stars It made a horrible class easier
The TI-83 made my statistics class easier to endure.I am not a math major, but had to take this statistics class to graduate. This calculator saved me many hours of homework time.

it arrived today and i was going through the manual testig it out. I love the features, and you can disconnect the baterry to insert the usb into the computer which helps save battery time. I played some songs from my computer and used a headphone to test the sounds as it records and it's great! I recommend it.

    - SMALL size
3-0 out of 5 stars It's Good, But Beware A Few Flaws
I bought this unit to replace a perfectly working Sony ICD-MS1, because of Sony's propietary file format. This unit records in WMA (Windows Media Audio), which makes it much, much easier to convert recordings to CD format or to MP3. However, I have a few misgivings about it, as follows:

4-0 out of 5 stars I Am Impressed and have Two Comments
I read several online reviews on the various new All-In-One printers and then went to several stores to see and ask questions. I liked the looks, capabilities and price of the MP530 and bought it.
4-0 out of 5 stars Superb Quality / Price
I recently got the Canon MP350 and I must say that I am very impressed by the results so far.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, great quality, easy to use
I previously had a printer and a separate flatbed scanner.Once I had to send about 20 pages and it took me over 30 minutes to scan everything into the printer and assemble it for faxing. With this new all-in-one, I just put the stack of paper in the machine, type the phone number, and walk away.Very nice!

5-0 out of 5 stars Does it all well. With document feeder!
Very happy with mine. Tried other brand, but it was terrible. This HP is great so far (few months of use). What is really nice is the document feeder....when you fax multiple sheets, you can do it in one quick call.
4-0 out of 5 stars Very good all-in-one for average home user!
I bought this printer for use at home. We are average (and environmentally friendly) users who print just a few pages per day and several photographs a month (4x6 and 8x10) since we have a toddler. This machine is used mostly for scanning and printing; and occasionally for fax.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not Good with a MAC
I thought the actual print quality was very good, but that's not why I bought this unit.I need to be able to scan directly to my word processing program and this machine cannot do that.Despite what it says on the box about OCR capabilities, and ability to work with Mac OS X, it NO LONGER includes the OCR software with the machine. There is a READIRIS software registration form included in the packaging, but according to the HP Tech line they don't offer it any longer. The software would cost an additional $129 online, or $129 plus tax/shipping etc.I returned the machine. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Buy this or any other TI or Sharp over the HP 12C
Why does the CFA exam require this calculator?Probably because in order to use the HP 12C properly you need to bring the manual with you.If you don't have the manual with you at all times when using the 12C you can get the wrong answer.Take the example in T. Hope's review, but try calculating using n= a payment with a decimal place, such as 24.5.Then try the same thing on an HP 12C.Oops, you don't get the same answer. That is because the HP12C doesn't allow you to enter payment terms with decimal places in the normal manner, even though it looks like you can.You need the manual to do it correctly. The real problem is that you don't even know when you need the manual. If you enter 24.5 the same way as 24 on the HP 12C, you won't get the right answer.Any TI or Sharp financial calculator however will give you the right answer. What other surprises are in store for those who use the 12C?

3-0 out of 5 stars Looks really nice.. But Horrible button
I don't know why CFA requires the candidates to use this calculator. It's better than HP 12C only in terms of simple calculation. You have to check everytime after you press the button, in case the system doesn't respond when you press it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Financial Calculator
It has some very useful addition from the previous model. It has cut the time of doing my homework in half. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent phone Tons of features
I purchased this phone system as a gift. I set it up and used it extensively. The handsets have features that you are used to finding in a cell phone. Many different ring tones to choose from, the antenna lights up when a call comes in. You can even set special colors and ring tones for specific callers so you'll know when they're calling without picking up the handset.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellant Answering Machine/Phones
I received my answering machine/phone two weeks ago. I had a Uniden which was awful after several months use. My calls no longer break up or fade as they did with the Uniden. The answering machine is simple to use and the functions are very easy to see. The calls are crystal clear and I am very satisfied. My parents bought one based on my recommendation and they love it. Now my sister will purchase one. I do not need the phone to light up as some customers have complained it does not. The overall quality is more important to me.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for PowerPoint, but not for Corel
I do a great deal of public speaking, but usually use Corel Presentations instead of PowerPoint (for numerous reasons which I won't describe here!).I have an older and cheaper Targus remote device which has a very simple array of functions, and it works well with both programs. The features and range of the Logitech convinced me to give it a try, hoping it would work with Corel--but it doesn't (and converting from a Corel file to PPT tends to botch the bullet animations). The plus is that it works flawlessly with PowerPoint.Bottom line: for those faithful few who use Corel, this is not the device for you--unless another reviewer out there can tell me how to get this to work!

5-0 out of 5 stars It DO have "Resume" function on button "F5/Esc"
Just bought this wonderful "toy" and played around for few minutes. Unlike other reviewers' complains, I found two things need to point out:
5-0 out of 5 stars The best one by far...
I've owned 3 other remote clickers, and this one is the best by far.For starters, it uses AAA batteries which are easy to procure and replace, whereas other models use those little quarter-size batteries that require a special trip to Radio Shack to buy.Plus, AAA's hold more juice to begin with, AND this clicker has an on/off switch, whereas others turn off on their own after time without use, meaning after they drain the battery! The transmitter on this clicker has plenty of power to reach the back of the computer/USB receiver stub from long distances, whereas others require the presenter to be close to the computer because they transmit a weak signal. The form factor of this one is perfect in your hand and the buttons are easily used, even by people unfamilar with it -- it's very intuitive. It has a very useful timer/clock that allows me to watch how much time I have left to finish my presentation -- it will also vibrate in my hand with 5 minutes to go, 2 minutes to go, and when my time is up.It allows me to add more time on the fly. This remote clicker is absolutely perfect in every way, and I can't tell you how many colleagues have purchased one after they tried mine.Don't waste your money on anything else -- they really got it right in all the human factors/UI aspects and all the engineering aspects when they made this. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars A lot of hype, but it quickly fizzled
Bought this product recently based on recommendations for an advanced math/ scientific calculator.Apparently, TI has almost all the schools eating out of their hands by having classrooms make these calculators mandatory in many classes.
5-0 out of 5 stars TI-89 Titanium For Statistics
    Pros:
5-0 out of 5 stars For calculus and beyond, perfect!Anything below calculus, this is too much!
After using a TI-83 Plus calculator for the last 5 years, I decided to upgrade to the TI-89 Titanium. This calculator is unbelievable in its features and power. First of all, it is more suited for advanced math, such as calculus and beyond. This calculator is NOT meant for high schoolers who are taking algebra, geometry or trig classes. If you don't know what a derivative or an integral is, then save your money and buy a TI-84 instead. (Besides, I believe most high school math teachers ban the TI-89 on tests) This calculator can also run programs in its Flash memory, which can be downloaded from the TI website. A USB cable is included standard. TI has made the newly designed sliding cover much more secure than the old TI design (TI-83 plus, TI-86, TI-89 regular), whose sliding cover was not very secure and became looser over continued use. The cover is very hard to get off the first few times (I was almost afraid of breaking it off), but over time it has gotten easier. Switching over from the TI-83, the only problem I've encountered is the operation of this calculator is very different from the 83.The menus are different, the interface different, different buttons. It takes a while to get used to. ... Editorial Review

The advantages of digital voice recorders are numerous: superior sound, long recording times, and the convenience of built-in memory (much handier than hauling around several microcassettes). Enter the high-performance Olympus DS-2, which makes professional interviewing and dictation easy and efficient. With 64 MB of internal memory delivering up to 22 hours of total recording time in Long Play mode, the device is great for archiving long meetings or lectures, or for researching huge projects that require dozens of interviews. Users also have the choice of recording at several other speeds, including extreme high-quality modes that offer far less recording time (as little as one hour and five minutes) but much better audio resolution. The latter modes are more suitable for recording soft voices or when taking down complex song ideas--a process that's further assisted by the built-in stereo microphone designed to pick up all sides of a conversation with equal clarity.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars More on Intel Mac compatibility
Actually, the DSS Player software that comes with this recorder does work on the new Intel Macs to transfer software from the recorder to the computer via a USB connector using the "Import File" command on the file menu.It translates to a wma file automatically, but won't do the translation to mp3 on any Mac as far as I can tell.I too have discovered EasyWMA, which works fine to do the wma to mp3 translation. There's also an application called Switch that works, too.
4-0 out of 5 stars Intel Mac Users Beware
The software that comes with the DS-2 (DSS Player) does not work on Intel Macs. They're working on a patch, but it's not expected to be out for a few months (it's late Sept 2006 now).
5-0 out of 5 stars The Clarity is Outstanding
And you don't even have to use the highest setting (Stereo HQ)

4-0 out of 5 stars Good camcorder if you are not serious about editing your footage
This camcorder does capture good video. But the main drawback is that it records in MPEG2 format (DVD quality). Initially its nice and easy to capture video and watch it on your computer by downloading the files using the USB 2.0 connection. It gives you instant gratification. But after capturing 4 or 5 hours of video, you will notice that your videos aren't so great as you expect it to be. Its not the fault with your camcorder. Its because all of us shoot extra footage, unwanted scenes, shakes, etc which we want to edit. You may want to add a title or two, add transitions, add backgroud music, combine your photos with the video, etc. Basically you may want to edit your footage. Its here when you find the major drawback of this camcorder. The MPEG2 quality video is not good for editing. The video quality is so compressed that you won't have sufficient bandwidth to edit the video.
3-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera But Be Careful with Non-OEM Replacement Batteries
First of all great Camcorder.Quality is great even in low light.Transfer to my PC is easy and quick.Overall the best camcorder I've used.
