Cute, but not necessarily convenient
Gone are the habits of rotary dialing -- adjusting to the rotary (push button) style of this phone has frustrated the family.The keys don't light up making it impossible to dial without turning on the lights.Note to self:use the cordless phone in an emergency.This phone opposes multi-tasking -- the design and weight make gripping the receiver between your ear and shoulder a joke.That said, it looks nice and fits in well with the stainless appliances in our kitchen.It's a sacrifice of utility for style. ... Love My Princess
I just wish it had the dial-pad backlight, like it's original prdecessor.But it's SOOOO nice to use a phone that actually has some heft and doesn't feel like it was made by Fisher-Price.

Dead on arrival
I got this phone purchased for me off my wishlist and it arrived to me broken! We contacted customer service multiple times and had no response. This really sucks because it is a very cute phone, but BEWARE.

Delightful!
I was skeptical of ordering this online - however I was pleasantly surprised when I received the phone, it is great, it is a Real Phone,not these modern plastic faux chrome phones that have no personality.This phone has plenty of personality and the ring is also authentic.The only reason I did not rate this a 5 star is that I wish the dial had a light in it - that lights up at night - my original princess phone had that and I just loved that feature but all in all - you princesses out there will love it!!! ... Great phone
I have not used this phone as of yet. But I plan to put this in my basement to give it an old look. And this phone is perfect for that. This definately will generate interest among my guests. U get what u see. Amazon price was very competitive among some other sites.

Excellent "old time look"
I love my red payphone, it has been getting alot of attention from everyone who sees it!

Good conversation piece and great way to save spare change
Telephone works well and looks and feels like a real pay phone. It does double as a bank and the family puts extra change in it to save up for DVD rentals and pizza nights. The red phone looks great against the yellow wall in our kitchen. The Amazon price including shipping is still less than anywhere else including Ebay ($68). I've wanted this phone since 1963...parents wouldn't allow it (remember when the phone co. owned the phones & charged extra for each extension every month)? By late 70's these were hard to find. Now in mid-age I finally have it & it's quality is great! Very solid & well made. Nice detail is the rotary style touch tone dial. Original touch tone Princesses had awful looking square layout. Only regret is the lack of the night-light feature, so cool on the originals. I have a pink & a baby blue; good things do come to those who wait, even after 43 years! Thanks Crosley. Now if only I could convince my teenage daughters of how cool these cuties really are.

Bad Design, Poor Reception
I value the Amazon Product Reviews and have purchased many items based on customer feedback.I purchased this phone from Home Depot for $69.95.I am returning it today.It is to large for comfort, the reception is bad, the letters too small for those of us who need reading glasses... I could go on.

Not loud enough for a shop phone
I got one of these (the Sears Craftsman version) as a gift, so the price was right- otherwise I'd say it's overpriced.
