Good But not perfect
Just purchased this transmitter today. Had a hard time finding stations in my area (New York) so i used the default 87.9mhz.
Worth the money
At first, I have read a lot of different reviews regarding the FM Transmitter until I came upon this iTrip transmitter... I have trusted the reviews and bought it. This product is excellent and worth every penny.
Not bad at all
As others have said - it works great at certain frequencies. It is simply dismal at others. One things i did not gather while reading other people's reviews was that it CANNOT work outside of your car. I say this because if you are someone that wants to use your iPod on a home radio/ at work / or in the operating room/ whatever you CANNOT with this device. Good Motivation and Progress tracker
When I lift weights at the gym, I know exactly how much weight Im lifting, how many repetitions I'm doing and what is my average tempo, so I can track my progress and I keep motivated. With running it wasn't so easy, until now.
Nike and Apple score again
I purchased this product along with the Ipod Nano and the Nike Shox shoes and I absolutely love it.I used to be an avid runner (7-10 miles a day) and was looking for something to motivate me to get back to it.I purchase these products from amazon and recieved them 4 days ago.After calabrating the sport kit and getting used to the shoes I have to report that it works as advertised.

Good Value
I am a very active runner, and need something that will stay on my head and sound reasonable. I bought these and they lasted well over a year and they worked great....I am picking up 2 more sets now.....

Awesome
I live in the Boston area and have no problem at all with the transmission this product is great, monster lives up to their name, and I highly reccomend it.

I enjoyed our son's ipod collection during our weekend trip
Recently we drove seven hours each way to a wedding. Our son brought along his ipod with his Monster transmitter. I did not know this product was available. What a great way to play the ipod! We all enjoyed listening to his collection of music. The sound was clear and very good. I don't remember any problems with the sound transmition except brief periods when we went across certain bridges, tunnels and mountain areas; times when one's radio would have difficulty transmitting also. I am definitely buying one of these for my husband for Christmas and for my daughter for her birthday.

Weak FM Output and Poor Audio
I have owned this iPod FM transmitter for about 11 months and have used it while driving thousands of miles through many FM radio markets.In urban areas this unit is not useable, because, despite the availability of the three FM presets, you can't find open FM frequencies in urban areas, and if you do, the unit's FM modulator is not strong enough to overcomeadjacent channel interference from city FM radio powerhouses, and typical poor car stereo FM tuner performance (selectivity).

Terrible fit, who cares about the sound?
In the end, if a pair of heaphones is uncomforable to wear like the Sony MDR-V150s are to me, the sound doesn't really matter.The only reason I gave two stars is perhaps these do fit some people OK; but I could not wear these for over 15 - 20 minutes without discomfort.

EASY USE AND GREAT RESULTS

A very good buy
I recently bought a pair of JVC Gumy earbuds for my PC at work and really like them.I like them so much I bought a SECOND set for my iPod, to use instead of the iPod earbuds.The JVC Gumy fit my ears better and sound much better (good base response).

Not really white - "coconut" white = gray
Just a heads-up to those like me with a white iPod:these headphones, though described as "White," are actually "Coconut White."Apparently, "Coconut White" is the same thing as "Gray," because that's what color these headphones are.

Head and shoulders above the stock ipod headphones
My stock Apple ipod headphones developed a crackle in the left bud soon after purchase, but instead of going through a process to get new ones under warranty I decided to get better ones.This pair is exceptional! I got one heck of a deal!!

Not compatible with 2nd generation Nano's
Be aware, the Belkin F8Z063-BLK TuneBase FM for iPod Nano is not compatible with the 2nd generation Nano.I am returning mine to Amazon, and buy a compatible one from the Apple store.

Non Compatable
I have several friends that have had similar items in the last few years that have worked nicely. I'm sure this is a great product. Having said that... this product is NOT and I repeat IS NOT compatable with the new ipod nanos. The new Ipod Nanos are slightly wider than the original and will not connect to this product. I really hope amazon puts up a warning soon and I will do my best to try to get that done. Again this does not work with the 4GB and I assume the 8GB nano as well so do not buy it unless you have the older model Nano. ... Read more

Bad rap isn't deserved for the iTrip
I was a little tentative to order the iTrip LCD because of some of the bad reviews I read.It seems like there are very few people sitting on the fence with this item.Buyers either love it or hate it.

it was not what i was expecting... but still ok... probably 96kbps... quality... still all right for the price... but if u want something with 320kbps quality... do not buy this product...

waste of money
i was using the tape player for my ipod.but since i got a new car which did not have a tape deck, i was forced to go to the fm transmitter.i had expected it to be as clear as my radio, b/c afterall, it feeds off radio frequency.i was very very disappointed.it was full of static and depending on the position of your body and transmitter, static can increase or decrease.i know it wasn't because i had weak radio frequency b/c the other stations were perfectly clear.so i blame the transmitter.i ended up returning the item 2 days after i bought it.i'm glad target took it back. ... Impossible Fit
I guess these were designed for a certain type of ear.I've worn all sorts of buds and sport headphones and wanted to try Sennheiser because of their reputation for quality.Well, I just can't get these to fit well.
Comfortable, great fit - best I've found
I run an hour a day in all weather.I've tried over 20 brands and styles of earphones for running.These are the most comfortable, most stable fit I've found.In winter, simple ear buds with a hat to keep them in place are good, otherwise these are waterproof and the best I've found. Sound is good too.They come with a clip, convenient case and three alternatives for fit.I just ordered a second set.

Not great, but the best I've found so far for running
It must be impossible to make headphones for suitable for running that 1) Stay in place without bouncing or making rude noises in your ear canal; 2) Allow some intrusion of outside sound like traffic or someone yelling and 3) Sound decent. I've been through about eight different designs and there's always some compromise among these three requirements. The OMX70's are very comfortable and don't block all exterior sound, but they just don't sound that great. The bass response is poor, even with the "bass booster" EQ turned on on the iPod. They're also not very efficient as I have to crank the volume all the way up when running.

Straight out the box...I LOVE IT!!!
Prior to ordering these headphones, I really didn't know too much about Sennheiser.I read some of the reviews on here and decided that I couldn't go wrong for my 20 bucks and I am NOT disappointed one bit!!
Quality Sound and Comfort for a Bargain
First off, these headphones are dirt cheap ($17...you can't even get crappy iPod earbuds for that price), and the sound is pretty darn good. They sounded nice right out of the box on my iPod mini, and after messing with the equalizer a bit, I've got these things sounding great. They are also really comfortable. I've been wearing them all day at work and I haven't had any discomfort at all.
Balanced sound compared to HD202.
I had used HD202 also from Sennheiser for more than 2 years before I bought this one. From the model numbers you probably guess that they are similar. Well they are both CLOSED type headphones with about the same size, but the sound is very different. HD202 is most valued for its GREAT bass, and yet HD201 has a more balanced sound.

Fairly Good Quality
Sure, it's over-priced, but so are most of Apple's toys.This nifty little device fits snugly into the bottom of your iPod and transmits to most non-music stations on your car radio, boat radio or home radio.There can be some static, so it takes a bit of moving around to find the perfect reception.Mine works fine in the glove compartment of my car or sitting on top of my home receiver.It sure beats having an adapter to deal with and you can carry it out of your car for safe keeping.

Smothering your speakers with a pillow
I just started using my iPod nano and iTrip.The only original comment I have to add is do not expect "brilliant" sound.The sound coming out of your radio will sound as if your speakers are being muffled... as if you are listening to an old monophone radio.The better your equilizer on your radio, the better you can compensate for the muffled output from the low power broadcast.If sound quality is important to you, you will be better off using a direct connection through a input jack.I am happy to say I have no reception problems.Reception was clean with no static for at least 20 feet of a clear line of site. ... What a SURPRISE
I have a 60 GB Ipod and I have tried 4 other products in my car but this one is by far my favorite. None of the accessories that are offered for the Ipod sound 100% and never have static or interference but this one gives you the most options for changing radio stations. Increasing the volume is somewhat confusing but not impossible. Overall this product is the best on the market for those with cigarette lighter adapters in awkward places. You must be careful with adjusting the neck.

I think this product design concept is great.I love the flexibe arm size.It fits great in my car.The CRAPPY part.I live near metro st. louis and i could not hold a signal ANYWHERE!I always had some intereference.whether it was fuzz or the signal going in and out.This product did not meet my expectations, especially since the back of the package states I should have crystal clear sound.This is not true.I have returned this product after little success over the first week of purchase.I am now waiting to get my DLO transpod 2 in the mail to try it out.I want something to work!!

Great for air travel!!!
I am a frequent air traveler and work on a ship.These drown out the noise of those noisy planes, crying babies, and those old laidies who just never seem to stop talking.Those who fly know what I am talking about.
