Excellent valuefor the money!
I bought two of these monitors for my teens for Christmas.
Proview PL456S 14" LCD Monitor "aka" MAG Innovision LT-456s
I purchased two monitors from Best Buy during a Black Friday sale.They were labeled as "MAG Innovision LT-456s" though I later found out they are Proview PL456S.Being military I left for deployment, returned and relocated duty stations before I getting to hook these monitors up. Upon receiving my household goods I hooked up both monitors and found both with dead pixels in the center.When I contacted Proview customer support I was told that I did not have "enough" dead pixels for them to do anything about it.Each of my monitors had at least 8 dead pixels, and were located in the center, just enough to be annoying.
Good quality - overall good value
I bought this 14 inch LCD monitor to replace a 17 inch CRT monitor for my 4 year old son's PC. The 17 inch monitor took up his entire desk and was in danger of tumbling the desk over at times. The LCD monitor not only is safer for him but now frees up a lot of room for him to work at his desk in our office. The quality of the monitor is good and was easy to set up. Outstanding monitor
I had a dual monitor setup with 2 CRTs, and bought one of these to replace the older one which was looking pretty sad next to my newer CRT.Now my new CRT looks sad next to this new Samsung LCD, so I'll be buying the 19 inch version to go with it.The color and sharpness of this monitor blows away all the monitors I've seen at work (I work in IT) or in stores.I also play Desert Combat on this monitor, and ghosting hasn't been a problem.Don't buy a cheap LCD, spend a few extra bucks and get quality.

Excellent Item - Worth every penny
I was looking for something that gives me the quality of an apple monitor without the expense. Compared this with Sony and after ample self doubt, decided to go in for a samsung monitor. I am more than overjoyed. It looks jaw-dropping-awesome, the design matches my mac mini, and gives amazing features and operation. If I need a second monitor, this would be my sure shot choice, any day!

Great projector...but

Excellent image
I just bought this projector after reading a review from projectcentral.com.I also just got a DirecTV HD DVR.I am projecting onto a 137" Dalite permawall screen in a light controlled room.The image quality with recent HD material is stunning.When looking at bright daylight images it looks like a window, with amazing detail.I am replacing an Infocus X1.I also had a Sanyo Z4 for about two weeks.The image from the Sanyo was too harsh because of the LCD (also I was sitting 1x the distance from the screen which should really be 2x for LCD's and 1.5x for DLP's). ... The Mother-ship has landed...
When we first pulled this monitor out of the box to attach it to our new G4 server, the first thing one office member said was, 'Well, the mother ship has arrived.' This monitor has an interesting design--ours came in smokey gray (to match our G4) and looks very professional on the desk. It has a unique three-pronged base, which allows for a conservation of desktop space (particularly as the CPU is a tower model which sits under the desk)--we can keep papers and other items under the monitor, or slide the keyboard and mouse underneath when not using the computer (like that ever happens!)Read more

Had a dead pixel right out of the box!
This company is now on my "do-not-buy" list

Great Price but be prepared to sacrifice quality
The thing that bothered me most about this monitor is the dead pixels.I never knew such a problem existed until I bought this monitor.I get a new one about every month, and boy is it annoying.The picture is crisp and clear and has very little ghosting, but you will have to replace it in a year or less.I am shopping for a new monitor right now, and I am avoiding Envision products.

Great monitor for the price
Got this monitor from Staples for an okay price ($219).This monitor so far is great and does the job.I use it for working on office, net surfing, small PSP/Paintshop Pro work, etc.So far this monitor has performed great.It also saves a lot in terms of space and the anti glare coating on the screen is a welcomed addition over the old CRT monitor.Worth getting for the price... ... overall good monitor
I needed to save space in my room and my desk.This works great with my mac G4 and when you hook up a dvd player to it ,it really stands out with its resolution.as a tv ,I am satisfied.some stations which show old TV shows look grainybut the tv shows which broadcast quality programming and HDTV signals really look good.
Excellent Monitor, So-so TV
I bought this monitor/tv for my dorm room to conserve on space and give a much larger screen for my 12" powerbook.I have had no problems syncing it with my mac, all I had to do was plug and play!The monitor quality is excellent, all the pictures are crisp and clear.As a tv, however, it is lacking.Some channels are better then other, a few (3-4 out of 97 or so) are quite grainy and of poor quality. The picture quality does improve the further you get from the tv.The picture in a picture feature is wonderful, I spend more time watching tv in that mode then in full screen.The speakers are surprising good I have a very small room so I haven't used them at their loudest setting, but at a normal listening range there is no distortion.
Dead pixels; TV quality is no good; overheats
I've had this monitor for just a few weeks, and exchanged it for an HP model after it has developed multiple dead pixels (about one pixel per week). The Samsung warranty policy on dead pixels for a 19-inch monitor requires you to have at least 7 dead pixels for a replacement - which means that you will be stuck if there are only 6 dead pixels or the 7th pixel appears after the warranty expires.

Kind of fuzzy...
This is my first flat-screen LCD monitor, so maybe the images and type aren't supposed to be as crystal-clear as my old NEC Multi-Sync CRT monitor. Or maybe it's because everything's enlarged to 19 inches.

Fantastic for the price!
So far my organization has ordered 90+ of these monitors and everyone seems to love them! Not a one has come in with any issues and we have been using them for approximately 6 weeks. We purchased in bulk from CDW and still paid more than this price, so this is a terrific opportunity to get a good office use LCD at a great price. Spreadsheets look awsome and now it is much easier to split my widows on my screen

Knocked my socks off---solid monitor for a great price!
Granted, I had pretty low expectations for a $200 widescreen monitor but I'm really impressed. The picture is great, it's easy to set-up and adjust, and there are absolutely no dead pixels. I use it for business applications, web browsing, and playing DVDs. I'm not a gamer but I can't imagine any problems there either as the refresh rate is plenty good for videos. It only took a couple minutes to unpack, plug-in, and set-up. I've had it for just over two months with absolutely no problems. I'm quite pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended! ... Happy with my purchase
