Decent setup
For $330, this setup isn't all that great of a deal.I will say that this is an excellent set up for beginners and "dj's" that just spin records at parties, but a serious performance or production dj will be frustrated with needle skipping while scratching, blending, mixing, etc.Its not awful, but shell out $200 more bucks and have a better setup.Also for $180 you can get Ions complete dj kit, sure they are belt drive turntables, but you save over $100 and get a mic.All in all the set up is not bad, the mixer is actually of high quality, but when numark doesn't offer replacement parts off of their website(yes, you will need to replace these groove tool needles) and if your pressed for cash, you can get near the same quality for far cheaper.But if you are just starting out and want a good set up for under $500, this is a sure bet.

Good price, good beginner package
The best package for beginners. You don't have to spend a lot of money to start scratching and djing around. This battlepack has a good pair of decks TT1625 (Direct Drive not Belt Drive.. wow), one DM950 mixer, HF125 Headphones (Not the best..but good enough for beginners), a pair of slipmats and the best...needles to start playing immediately. Good, so good for the price. Good for beginners.

Behringer VMX100 DJ Mixer
Its great very simple though not that many features great for a starting Dj

This did the trick
I had a problem. I have an older double cassette tape deck. A good deck with record on the left and a dubber on the right. I wanted to be able play over what I had recorded but I couldn't until I got this little mixer. It allowed me to make the proper in/out connections to make my double cassette a karaoke without the microphone. Of course there is also a mic connection so I can actually sing and play over the top of a pre-recorded tape.

Can't beat it for the money!
For a mere $60.99 (nearly $20 less than at Musician's Friend and about half the MSRP) at Amazon.com, this mixer is your best bet. It has the cost of an entry-level mixer without the bleeding and fragile faders, 2-band EQ, and utter lack of scratch features that one normally finds on entry-level mixers. The faders are tough yet sensitive, with no sound bleeding. The 3-band EQ, crossfader-style cuing, and mic EQ add great functionality to this mixer. The hamster switch and crossfader slope are a nice touch if you're ever feeling a bit hip-hop or want to cut up some beats. I was originally going to get a DM950 and just upgrade in a few months, but at this price, why bother? I recommend this mixer to every startup DJ, whether you're aiming for scratch, trance, jungle, Baroque, whatever. This is an excellent mixer that doesn't sacrifice quality, though it definitely won't break the bank. I will definitely continue to buy Numark products! ... Read more

Works well enough!
The Nady MPM-4130 was purchased to replace a VERY old TOA powered mixer used solely to rehearse vocals prior to gigs. Comments on other sites regarding overheating and blown fuses might be explained by mismatched Ohm input - the Nady can handle two 8 Ohm loads from speakers to create a 4 Ohm load overall. The DSP effects work relatively well, and volume is not a problem in a rehearsal room. All in all, the little Nady 4-channel works well enough for what it is designed to do, and for its low cost.

Good for what i do
This is a very specialized unit.The verbage isn't cleat but this unit is monophonic (not stereo).It has two speaker outputs but they are wired together inside. If you do PA systems for middle sized (100 people) events, like I do, it's a winner.
