Great Mouse, 1 issue
The mouse is great.I've bought 3 over the course of my life.Its perfect for laptop, a little short usb extention for desktop but highly recommend it for laptop only.The only issue I find upon this mouse is the wheel.Do not get me wrong there is nothing physical wrong with the wheel but when I am using Ventrilo with Warcraft III open.I am unable to use the wheel as a hotkey for my voice outbound.Most people dont use Ventrilo for WC III so why would that matter?Overall it is a great mouse at a great price that I highly recommend everybody to get.

small-ish, NOT mini!
Sorry for the repitition.I read all the reviews that said the mouse wasn't mini but i bought it anyways thinking still it would be in between medium and small.Like another reviewer said, the size feels like a regular mouse.

Long live the Internet Keyboard Pro
It's a pity and a shame that Microsoft discontinued this keyboard. Their newer keyboards look nice, but they're a little too flashy for me, and I'm not a big fan of the new keyboard layout. If you're looking for the functionality of these newer MS keyboards but with less of the nonsense, this is definitely the way to go. It sports a not-likely-to-offend beige finish and the old-school 104 key layout. Even has a built-in two-port USB hub, the perfect place to plug your USB mouse and game pad. (It's not a powered hub, so don't try plugging in things like printers and hard drives.)
Great Keyboard... a little too large
I bought this keyboard a couple of years ago and have been very happy with it.The only problem is it's size, and I really didn't need all these extra buttons, but other than that, it's a great keyboard.The wrist rest is also quite nice, although I still prefer a gel wrist rest, however with the size of this keyboard, it's easier to use the hard plastic one provided, otherwise the gel one would just keep falling off my desk. Best ever for power keyboarders
I am very hard on keyboards and this is the only one that has lasted for more than a few months - first one lasted more than three years!I am a transcriptionist so spend 8-10 hours everyday using the keyboard for work then later for my own leisure.The spacing between the keys, the key cap size and the layout of the keyboard is a power-user's dream.The weight of the keyboard is heavier than most so it stays in place and really stands up to abuse.Read more

Tiny size and very lightweight

Great mouse; would buy again
I love this mouse. I have had it for almost four years now and it has held up great. I really like how the cord retracts and stores. The cord never has never had a memory like another reviewer stated theirs had. It has always tracked well. I use it for all applications.
A great convenient little mouse
I actually already owned this product and just needed a replacement. I've had mine for over 3 years and the little pads on the bottom of the mouse had been worn off. I love this mouse and its retractable cord. I take it everywhere with me. I just love its size and portability.

Great Setup!
I received this Logitech keyboard and mouse as a gift. My last keyboard and mouse were ALSO Logitech wireless. I didnt have to installanything....just plugged in the cables, pushed the connect button and that was it. I love the touch of the new keyboard and the one button access feature for e-mail, intenet and speakers. I dont understand all the trouble people have had with the mouse batteries. I have had not changed the batteries yet and I have had it for a month. My old Logitech mouse DID have short battery life but with the new one, so far, so good. And I use the computer for several hours every day. I have NO complaints. I definitely recommend it!

A reasonably good product
The mouse is compact, but not so small as to be difficult to use for an average adult hand. In my opinion, the retractable cord could be a few inches longer, but it gets the job done. I would probably opt for a wireless version next time around and totally eliminate the cord from the equation.

A wee bit small, but generally fabulous!
This product is comparable to the Targus product PAUM01U. Both are about half the dimensions of a conventional mouse. The optical input means no more cleaning a track ball, making it ideal for travel and spontaneous use on any encountered surface. The retractable cable is a move of genius, long overdue, and works like a charm. And the USB connection is a snap, with no software needed.Read more

The bottom has no traction and thus it does not stay in place making it useless.I threw it away in frustration.

Decent mouse pad
If you haven't noticed it's a textured mouse pad, meaning the top surface isn't smooth. It works pretty well with my optical mouse and handles routine pc stuff fine.I wanted to use it to improve my perfomance on some games, but it hasn't been optimal for that use.It's a little too small for gaming and it's backing doesn't hold it in place, so it slides around on my desk unless I anchor it in place with something heavy.

Of all the mouse pads I've seen and tried, 3M makes the best. They're super-high resolution, due to the surface (for old style ball mice), and have an excellent pattern for optical mice. What really sells me on these are two things: the smooth easy way that mice slide across the 3M mouse pad surface on their Teflon pads, and the low profile of the pad. Since this pad is super-thin, it doesn't raise the mouse to an uncomfortable (or anti-ergonomic) height. So you hardly notice you're using a "mouse pad." The backing surface helps it stay put on most work spaces. And best of all - the small, thin size makes it ideal to take along with a wireless notebook mouse. It carries my highest recommendation. Good features, bad feel
When my five year old Apple keyboard finally started to die, I began to look around for another keyboard.I'm not overly crazy about the newer Apple keyboards due to the grooves in them and how they love to collect dirt and junk, and they are also very susceptible to spills.So I looked around for another keyboard which still offered many of the features my Gigabit PowerMac came with.I was looking for a keyboard with the volume and eject buttons, and if it came with a power button, that would really be the icing on it all!After doin some research, I discovered the Macally ikeyslim keyboard.It looked good, it had the three volume buttons, an eject button, and evn a power button!So, on paper, this keyboard looks great.

The key word is virtually.
We have purchased several of these keyboards for use in a quiet enviornment.While they are very quiet, the "touch" takes getting use to.We have also had to replace a few, but the company has been good about that.

virtually useless
I bought this several months ago to use with my slate tablet when I wanted to/had to use a keyboard.For awhile it generally worked, although the keys are very gummy and you need to press them very firmly when typing.But that's OK.What's not OK is that after very light use, the keys for all numbers other than 5 and 6 have stopped responding, along with all of the corresponding shift-keys--parenthesis, the "at" sign for e-mail, etc.--I can't type them because I'm using this piece of junk now.You can't appreciate how irritating it is to work without number and the other keys until you are forced to do it.Stay away from this virtually useless product.

The ONLY one I will use.
I love this mouse.No picking up and moving a mouse anymore.This is actually my second one.The first one finally wore out after several years.I used a "normal" mouse as a temporary while waiting for my new one.Imissed my Trackball, and I couldn't belive how annoying the old style mouse was. With this one you can go back forward up and down.. wow.. it improves cruising the internet!

I always use trackballs at work so I was happy when I bought one for home.
Just about the perfect mouse
If you like trackball style mice, this is the perfect one to get. I already have one for the house and at work, but I have two computers at work so I just ordered a third one to take to work. Amazon doesn't have them, but there are still sites that have new ones. I love them, and have never had any problems from them.

An excellent mouse
I have now had this mouse for five years with no problems.I first bought the mouse because I hate trying to get lint off those little wheels inside a mouse so the ball runs smoothly.The optical technology is a God send.
Just Keeps Going
I will say this is the best mouse I have ever used and there would not be any regret in my voice over having spent [$$] on my first one of these, and I would be happy to spend the same amount again. I have never once had a problem with it - it has been dropped, crushed and generally mistreated over 3 years and it hasn't ever shown a sign if not working. Finally a microsoft product that works as advertised. I would say you have to try it before you buy as it is big and not everyone feels comfortable with it but a great mouse for gaming and work.

who is johnny5dm?
I wish i could find "johnny5dm"s article on taking apart the mouse. I am having major problems with mine. the left button acts like i am constantly double clicking and the scrool wheel wont roll upwards. I do like the look and feel and he buttons are situated in nice places, but for 60 bucks (which was what i paid for it at the time) I wish it would have lasted me longer than a few years. I have ordered a new mouse to replace this one, but would still love to take it apart and work on it. SO, if anyone knows where "johnny5dm"s article is, i would greatly appreaciate it ... Read more

I like it, except...
The mouse is great, very sensitive.It's nice to use in Photoshop.The five programable buttons work well and are easy to program.
Poor Keyboard
Initially I gave this product a good review.Shortly after I experienced difficulties.First the keyboard signal grew weak and then the mouse.I kept getting warning messages.If I unplugged the USB connector the signal strength was normal. Press any key on the keyboard and the signal strength would drop.

no touchpad drivers
The touchpad was my primary reason for getting a keyboard. I am switching to a tethered computer, from laptops, for the first time in 8-9 years, and have long ago come to prefer touchpads to mice.
Completed my HTPC
This is my first review on Amazon, mostly because the negative reviews here need some balance. I feel really strongly that this keyboard is worth every penny. It worked for me right out of the box. Easy install, easy to use. Period. I have had no problems on Windows XP SP2. I've been recommending this thing to all my friends building an HTPC and the ones who heed my advice have agreed (so far). It would be nice to have more customization features, but that's the only reason this keyboard doesn't warrant a 5.
Some improvement, some regression.
Summary: An excellent touchpad keyboard, with a few caveats.
