Great except for laser
This works extremely well right out of the box with no software to install.The unit is very small and fits comfortably in your hand.The only problem, as others have noted, is that the laser is a bit to weak, so I carry the remote and a different laser.

Great product - Terrible cust service
The one I purchased arrived defective.It took customer service almost 2 months to fully correct the problem and send another unit. Interlink Navigator prone to interference

while my game isn't quite good enough (yet) to need to know if the pin is 87 yards out vs. 85 1/2 yards (which this is apparently accurate enough to tell you), i do benefit from knowing that the green is in the general vicinity of 85 - which is fortunate, because if needed to know precisely I'd have to mount this thing on a tripod - the hand-held aspect of aiming at something a hundred or so yards away means that (at least in MY hands) you're going to be lucky to get the same reading twice.Which isn't to say that this is not a useful tool - like i said, i only need to know ABOUT how far i am to pick the right club --- and then i can use the 8x scope to see if i hit it up next to the hole!

Got batteries
I felt the product should be more clearly marked. For example stating that the item needs a special lithium battery, so that if the item was purchased as a gift as the one I purchased was, I could have also purchased the battery. This made for a very unpleasant Christmas for myself and the person I purchased the gift for. I can not rate this product until I purchase the battery.

Best Rangefinder out there!

3m...We didn't invent light...we made it worse
I am sure this would be a great pointer if I didn't have to take the batteries out after each use to get it to work again.I have tried numerous types of batteries and basically the thing is a mess.Once the battery changing stopped being effective in getting it working again I had to take it apart and fix it.I expected more for the price.

An excellent pointer
This pointer is not only very bright, but also projects for tremendous distances.It lasts very long on a pair of batteries, and the batteries are standard AAA so they are [inexpensive] and easy to replace compared to other pointers.

Not Bright at All!
Having read everyone elses great reviews of this laser, I ordered this pointer from Amazon a while back and ended up being just terrible. This laser isn't very bright at all and is very hard to see because it is sodim.Second of all, the dot that this laser projects is like the size of apinhole it seems, which adds to it being hard to see. LaserLyte SleekPoint: Attractive But Disappointing
The LaserLyte SleekPoint Laser Pointer by LaserLyte looks and feels great.It's huge button is also a plus.However, sometimes the laser would not respond very well, and after sitting unused in a box for about one year, the laser pointer no longer works, even with new batteries.These problems seem to agree with several comments made in other reviews.Look, feel, and price are important, but not if the laser doesn't work.I would not recommend this product.Stick to the pen-shaped pointers.

Light and small
This laser pointer is incredibly light and small. It was even smaller than I imagined after seeing the picture. I tested this a bit and the range is really good. The button to activate the laser isn't the easiest to use, though. And there isn't a holster (although it will still fit in your pocket). But overall, this is a great product.

An excellent Suit-Jacket Pen
Although I wouldn't want to write my thesis with it (too Fat--your hand would get cramped after about two pages)this is a pretty decent pen and an acceptible laser-pointer.Great to carry in your suit jacket for your daily needs.

If you are a first time buyer for laser pointers, this is the one to get. Its range is amazing, 1500 ft. It also comes with a built in ball point pen, which I find very useful. If you don't need the pen, simply screw it right off.(but it can get kind of complicated some times). One of the bad things about is that it doesn't work to well outside when the sun is out. It makes up for it by working extremly well indoors. The matching rosewood case is very convienent. Inside the case there is a extra little thing of ink and three batteries. Not quite as advertised, but good fun
First off, it does NOT come with 2 AAA batteries, and in fact does not use AAA batteries at all; the review above is incorrect.Having said that, the laser itself seems pretty nice.The focus indeed will fan out the light to a decent angle, but you probably won't use it to light your way in the dark.And the focus needed for a point up close is different than that for a point far away. It is a great tool for a teacher.
This is a good product because I am a substitute teacher for kindergardeners.When I put magnetic letters on the chalk board it is easier to move them around and I can point the laser at the letter I want them to identify.It is a good combonation for a teacher. ... Read more
