4-0 out of 5 stars Better than earlier versions...
I have owned MS Ergonomic keyboards since they were first released and find this one to be better than prior versions in several respects. The keys are much easier to press and the keyboard is tilted up at an angle so the front part is higher than the back part which reduces pronation of the wrists. As some others have noted, it is annoying that they changed the size of certain keys but I am not finding this so difficult to get used to. It is INCREDIBLE that they have a back and forward button integrated into the keyboard right below the space bar, so it is no longer necessary to go through enormous repetitive motions to press the back button in a browser. This may be the greatest feature of this keyboard! But, most importantly, it is more comfortable and easier to type on than any prior version or any other product I have tried.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Keyboard That Makes My Wrists Feel Better
This is a well-constructed keyboard that has a nice feel to it and a good assortment of programmable keys. It isn't advertised as such, but the "zoom slider" is also programmable. Here's how to reprogram it as a scroll slider: Edit C:\Program Files\Microsoft IntelliType Pro5.5\IType\Setup\Files\commands.xml.
2-0 out of 5 stars Ouch!
I wanted this keyboard because I have tendonitis in both hands and arms, and the layout felt very comfortable in the store where I tried it out. However, as some others have mentioned, the spacebar requires a lot of force if you have small hands and cannot press it down in the center. My thumbs and wrists hurt after just a few minutes (I could work for 15-20 minutes on my old keyboard before having that much pain). It's a shame because otherwise I really like the design; maybe they could split the space bar into two keys (one for each thumb) and then you wouldn't have to press it so hard. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT KEYBOARD !!!
I have three of these keyboards and LOVE Them !! I will NEVER ever go back to a regular keyboard or mouse .. Using this keyboard with a Trackball mouse has made my Carpel Tunnel go completely away !!

4-0 out of 5 stars great as long as you do not need a usb keyboard
Works great on older computers, most new Dell's come with a usb port only, tried an adapter, could not get it to work.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great performance, good price
They keyboard has a much better feel than I expected. In fact, it does have little legs on the back that can flip down to put the keyboard at a slight incline if that feels better for you. The mouse is very responsive, which I had been worried about...I have a (cheaper) logitech wireless laptop mouse that has a slight lag whenever you begin to move it, this one has absolutely no lag and works great. 5-0 out of 5 stars Logitech Cordless Mouse and Keyboard
Nice features on the keyboard, e.g. you can control the volume of yout PC speakers from there, etc.Love the cordless feature, of course!

5-0 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Keyboard!
I am very satisfied with this keyboard it's nice and it's got gentle keys.
5-0 out of 5 stars Saitek
Only have had this keyboard for a shot time, It works very well at night, you can easily see the keys and they have a good feel to them. Unless you want to spend alot more money this gets my approval!

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth it
Wasn't sure if the illumination would truly be visible at night. It is. Very helpful for those late night online rampages. The keyboard is very solid. For those of you that had a generic keyboard that slid all over, this one won't. Took just a little bit of time to get used to the slightly smaller keys than what I had. Think overall it is well worth the $.

I've been PC gaming for a very long time (essentially since there have been PCs (Yes, I'm THAT old))
5-0 out of 5 stars why amazon slower than 3rd party delivery?

2-0 out of 5 stars An O.K. Keyboard with Cheesy Backlighting and no Fn Key
I wanted a keyboard that I could use in low light with both my PC and Mac, and this one is reasonably o.k. Those users who enjoy the backlight of a Mac PowerBook or MacBook Pro will be disappointed by the cheap approach Saitek used to illuminate the keys, though. On the Mac, each key has its own embedded light under the key. On the Saitek light is splashed under the entire keyboard, reducing the contrast and making it much harder to see the keys. But it's better than nothing, and is helpful in low light. It would have also been nice if they had an Fn key, but such is life.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great keyboard, cheaply PAINTED keys
I've had this board for about a year now and about 7 of my keys are basically transparent keys with no paint left on them. Blue blobs essentially.
5-0 out of 5 stars Got what I paid for
It's what I expected. The blue light makes it very easy to see the keys in the dark, and it looks pretty cool. I don't find it too bright, and there's a lower setting anyway. Iv'e not had any problems with different areas lighting up more than others as some other people. Very satisfied. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars No Firefox or Windows domain support - deceptive MS marketing
I bought this product on the cool idea that I could log on to any Web site with the use of my fingerprint. The dos say that this product "should" not be used in corporate networks so already I was feeling suspicious, but since the store I bought it from has a good return policy, I chose to try it out. Well, the product simply does not work if your PC a member of a Windows domain (so "should" as stated above is misleading). Also, as some other reviewers pointed out, if you don't use Internet Explorer (a smart thing if you care about security), then you can't use this product as it is hard-coded to work with IE this reader useless for Firefox users. This is a cool concept gone sour by stupid / stubborn product compatibility policy and bad software design.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Idea, time saver, but...
Pros: I gave this item a 4 out of 5 stars because like many of you have so many sites that require logins now a days and some are not atonomous enough to remember your login info or password. This thing really comes in handy when logging onto your bank account website or other frequently viewed websites. So far successful programs that have worked which are non Microsoft programs are, Yahoo Messenger 8.0 and Gmail Notifyer. Logging into Hotmail, other sites like amazon.com are a breeze.
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful - No more Carpal Tunnel Problems
I've had this keyboard a number of years and would never go back to anything else. I have (or had) severe carpal tunnel syndrom. This keyboard has eliminated that problem entirely. I can't think of a downside. Yes, it takes a bit of getting used to and yes, the keys are a bit noisy. But I have no problem with that. It just reminds me I'm working.
5-0 out of 5 stars For when simplicity and comfort are prized above all
This particular keyboard is the only one I have used for the past half dozen years.I've got two on my desk here at work and another at home, plus a few spares hidden around the storage room for when they break (or stop getting sold).
4-0 out of 5 stars Good positive keystrokes
I use this keyboard at home and a conventional one at work. At first I found the conventional one tight after using this one for a bit. The key angle is good. I like the lights down the middle also.

1-0 out of 5 stars TTerrrible - Nott worthy of the Apple name
Notice the typos? I've had mushy keyboards and I've had clicky keyboards so loud they wake the dead, but this is the first keyboard I've had that makes its own typos by doubling up letters.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for a wireless Mac keyboard
I'll start with the positive:
5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
I love this cordless keyboard and mouse combination. I wouldn't go back for anything. It is so much more comfortable and easier to type than the standard Mac keyboard that came with my G5 tower. If you don't have it, get it. You'll never regret it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect wireless addtion to an Intel iMac
I purchased the S530 for a 20" Intel iMac about two months ago. The wireless combo is just a touch whiter than the computer color. The silver accents perfectly coordinate with the iMac base. Overall it's a clean, stunning look on the desk with the iMac.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product - I want one too!
I did buy this for myself at first... then, realizing it had a cordless mouse and I already had a cordless mouse but my DH Bill didn't, I connected this keyboard to his computer and I just love it. I did buy myself a lesser wireless keyboard without the mouse and I am not nearly as happy with mine as I am with his. Logitech makes a pretty reliable product and they last a reasonable amount of time based on how often we use them and the rugged life they peripherals have to live around our house ~smile~ I would recommend this product to a good friend...

1-0 out of 5 stars Amazon lies

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice keyboard/mouse combo, good feel, but not perfect
I've been steadily looking for new high-end keyboards (see my other Logitech reviews) to improve the quality of the many hours a day I spend at a computer. So I tried the MX3000 largely for the keyboard.

5-0 out of 5 stars This One Will Stay
I previously purchased the Wireless PilotBoard but returned it due to wireless interference. After much research, I wanted a black keyboard with soft keytouch and no noise. I decided to try Kensington again. I didn't need the Internet features on a keyboard so the 104 keys Comfort Type is closely standard. My fingers rest comfortably on the angled keys as if natural. I don't have to have my elbows close to my body. Only the main and function keys are angled. The number pad, arrows, and cursor position keys are not angled but is no disappointment.Lastly, I don't understand why the |\ key had to be re-arranged, the shift key shorten and the backspace key longer. It's a minor adjustment to make as a touch typist.Overall, I'm pleased with this keyboard.

1-0 out of 5 stars terrible....
Came in a few days. I thought GREAT. Yeah, except that it came with the keys smashed in, but you couldn't tell till it was plugged in and it did something crazy to my computer. (took my acct away....yes it did. My husband had to restore it.) Not one of my better choices. Back it goes and I bought one in a store that I could touch first...

5-0 out of 5 stars Really Erognomic and NIce Price
I have always used logitech for my keyboards...so I was kind of skeptical about trying this one..but when I saw the price...I just couldnt resist...other logitechs at the time were much more pricey....so I tried this one...and I was really suprised...didnt know microsoft could make such good keyboards....I find it the perfect blend of ergonomics andfunctionality..and I should say performance...all the buttons and funcions you need..in all the right places..doesnt lose its performance from wear and tear...I have had this one for almost a year...use it like crazy for all sorts of things...including a lot of intensive gaming...which I think really put it to its test...I have been converted to microsoft for keyboards...give this one a try and you will see what Im talking about.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this keyboard!
I ordered this keyboard back in 2005 and it's still going strong.Keys are somewhat firm, properly spaced, and relatively quiet, especially compared to the HP keyboard that originally came with my computer.I make much less typos with this keyboard than I did with all the others I've had.All the 'extras' buttons are easy to configure the way you wish, although I admittedly do not use them. LOLI agree with the other person who stated the zoom slider doesn't really work as well as you might think it should, but like the programmable buttons, I don't really use it anyways. One of the main features I like is the spacebar- shorter than on most other keyboards, but a little wider. You'll get used to that very quickly, no worries. :) The spacebar is usually the first thing to mess up on my keyboards, but this one is still just fine. The wrist support is a bit flimsy and 'wiggly' but definitely functional, properly angled. The main body of my keyboard is a bit scratched from where it 'wiggles', but that's only a cosmetic thing, doesn't affect the performance of the keyboard itself.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Keyboard!
I love this keyboard.

5-0 out of 5 stars Apple Bluetooth Keyboard
Excellent product that works great. It is very convenient and the bluetooth signal is strong. Great for any laptop/desktop combination.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still great after a year
I have an Apple Wireless Pro keyboard at work and one at home; they still work wonderfully after a year.No "spongy" feeling and using the same brand and type of batteries supplied, I have onlyreplaced the four AAs three times in fourteen months. My father received one as a gift at the same time, and has had the same great experience.I continue to recommend this to people with Apple laptops and the keyboard response is the best wireless response I have used, even when compared to RF keyboards.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Helpful
I found this keyboard to be very helpful.I am a graduate student and spend a lot of my time typing papers. While my laptop can be used to type, when you type for hours at a time it gets very uncomfortable. This keyboard is a great size and has a nice feel for long days spent typing. The bluetooth is also reliable and allows me to get some distance from the computer if I would like without stopping the connection.I would suggest getting a mouse to accompany it.Overall, a very useful and reliable product that makes my life much easier. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful to type on, limited lifetime
This one at least has lost the use of it's control key after 6 months. just doesn't work any more. I spend 40+hrs/week on my keyboard, so that's a lot of control presses, but I wasn't expecting this. I am likely to buy another of the same keyboard however, unless I can find another deal in a keyboard with laptop-type actuators. One of the things I was looking for was a quiet keyboard. I didn't want people on the phone with me to hear me typing. This keyboard worked.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Keyboard
I love this keyboard that I am currently typing on. I have my laptop on an iLevel from Rain Design and this plugged into my laptop and it works fantastically. The sleep button is convenient, and the audio buttons work with iTunes for playing/pausing and skipping through tracks. The silver outline is a nice touch for this great keyboard.

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent purchase!

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Keyboard & Mouse Set - Configuration Tips
I have typically used Logitech wireless keyboard and mice, but the competing Logitech got some negative reviews so I went with the Microsoft.I specifically wanted a Bluetooth keyboard to use in conjunction with my Lenovo Thinkpad X60S laptop.
1-0 out of 5 stars Keyboard Dead in Less than 6 Months
and the worst part is that I'm actually glad about it!
4-0 out of 5 stars Easy to install and good operation
I purchased this set as a companion to a new notebook with built-in bluetooth. The keyboard and mouse stay at the office while the notebook goes everyehere I go. The product was easy to install and operates well without any delays or slow response. I also like the feel of the keyboard, many are too soft or too "clicky" this one feels just right. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Combination
This combination of keyboard and mouse are awesome. It was a breeze to install even better were the included batteries so I did not need to hunt a pair down. The range and feel are great as well. Already reprogrammed some keys and they work great.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disfunctional mouse, Keyboard fine
The wireless keyboard works fine, and shortcut keys for volume, calculator, etc are handy.
5-0 out of 5 stars Very Reliable, Excellent Response, Long Battery Life, Stupid F-LOCK
This keyboard does as it should. No problems typing from across the room (think multiple monitors or projection, not idiot who crosses the room to type just because it's wireless).Response is fast enough for gaming, and the keys don't object to being abused a little bit..

4-0 out of 5 stars Sleek, eyecatching
Shape of the mouse seems just right and the keyboard is pretty sturdy for being so thin. The only complaint I have is that the keyboard has no caps lock or num lock LED.You could key in a really long key code or passward and have it fail because the caps lock is on and you don't know it!How much extra could this feature have cost?

2-0 out of 5 stars good but problems...
you may notice i am writing this in lowercase.i am using the s510 keyboard i bought over a year ago.the shift keys suddenly went out so the keyboard is now useless. i have to subtract for longevity.the mouse that comes with the keyboard is poor but i use it with another mouse anyway.and, as noted in other reviews this, in common with most other usb keyboards, only works with basic functionality when hooked up through a usb kvm switch.on the good side, the battery life is very good and i think it looks nice, but i'll be looking for something else for a replacement...

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great
I did my first install of this wireless desktop this past weekend and everything went smoothly.I love that you can opt to use the existing PS/2 connections, leaving another USB port open.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent media center keyboard (using with MCE 2005)
Finding the right media center keyboard is a real pain in the neck. I've gone through a number of keyboards (such as belkin media pilot and gyration) prior to purchasing ADESSO wireless keyboard and I can't say that I liked any of them. This is the FIRST keyboard that doesn't "eat" letters (up to 14 feet away- haven't tried further)when you type and that has smooth mouse functionality (via integrated touchpad). The touchpad works very good and while it probably woulnd't be the best thing for Doom3 death-match it works great for just about everything else (unlike Belkin's integrated joystick which was a nightmare even for simple web browsing).Since I bought the keyboard (about two months ago) I havent had any problems with it freezing (as some reviewers have reported) after not being used(all I have to do is hit ENTER key twice and it wakes up).

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Keyboard
I love this keyboard. I've been using a touch-pad for years and DO NOT LIKE USING A MOUSE. I've had a wired ergonomic keyboard with touchpad for about 6 years and loved it but wanted something wireless. I found this keyboard while doing some other research and bought it. I do not regret the purchase. Even my wife, who always complained about my computers touch pad likes this keyboard because it's so light and easy to handle.
1-0 out of 5 stars Always asleep
Complete and total waste of money.I spend most of the time trying to 'wake up' the board. Many times it simply refuse to operate wthout unplugging the reciever, or removing the batteries.

2-0 out of 5 stars Severe Connection Issues
This hardware is well-made and I have heard very good things about the non-bluetooth version of the mouse. When it's connected and working, it does its job very well. Unfortuntately the MX5000 set suffers from some very poorly made software that makes it very difficult to use effectively. At seemingly random intervals, the mouse will start lagging or stop altogether. If this happens during gameplay, you're in a bad way. The keyboard also suffers from a truly annoying bug. When it comes off of its sleep state, it will double the first key you press. I have also had the keyboard just reset out of the blue. Add in that the SetPoint software for the LCD screen only fully works with two pieces of software (MusicMatch and Windows Messenger), and you have a very disappointing desktop package. The MX1000 is a great mouse on its own, but stay away from this Bluetooth combo. It is unstable and very frustrating to use.

5-0 out of 5 stars nice and very fast
got it after several dayes and am very happy about it, enjoy

2-0 out of 5 stars Expensive Bluetooth Device
I got this keyboard when we got a new PC from Dell.Since I'm using company money, I figured why not get a nice keyboard since I felt that my old wireless keyboard and mouse lagged a little bit.I thought to myself,I wanted my next one to be as precise as they can come!So I put this order together with the PC.
