5-0 out of 5 stars Works perfect much better than a joystick
Esactly what I was wanting. When you turn there is resistance (springs I think) and everything works great. If you use flight sims you need this product.Works awsome.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very cool - super real
I have been a private pilot for more than 20 years. This is a good way to fly whenever you can't.Very cool, super realistic.

2-0 out of 5 stars Plastic, binding, not at all worth the money
What can I say?The plastic sticks in the assembly, making it really hard to control.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for war and flight games!!!!
The main reason I bought this was for Battle Field 2, but its great for flight sims as well.Nice sticks and it comes with its own drivers for the L.E.D.'s.Very nice for the price.Easy to learn how to operate, took me less then 10 minutes on Battle Field 2.Had to configure it in the options, but it was worth it.Nice for Microsoft's Flight sim '04 and Lock On.Gets five stars from me.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is an awesome joystick!
This is my first HOTAS, but I did a good bit of research. It is very easy to set up, and the SST Programming is very helpful setting the shift key.The joystick is easy to move, which is nice in a close dogfight.I am very glad that I bought this HOTAS, because I have had NO problems with it.I highly recommend this system to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good Joystick
The X52 replaced my old X45 Saitek and I find it much better in every way from the old stick, very much more sensitive to stick input. It is one of the most versatile sticks I have ever used and lives up to the praise that has been direct its way on this forum. If it had force feed feel to it that would have been awesome, but as is it is performs very well on the various flight sims.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good joystick, but not durable
I was extremely happy with this joystick at first. It had smooth, precise movement and the triggers and buttons were all fairly ergonomic. However, after about 3 months of using it on and off, the calibration started to go.At this point, I can't keep a plane straight in Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, or Flight Simulator without constantly adjusting.I recommend this joystick highly if you only plan on using it for a few months, but if you want a long-term joystick, definitely buy something else.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Joystick
I can actually fly jets and bomb in BF2 now! this product had worked for me very well, no problems at all,It has more buttons that I need.
2-0 out of 5 stars Loses Calibration about every 2 min
I will admit I am tough on Joysticks.I picked this up about a year ago and I have just ended up trashing it because it has gotten worse and worse with keeping calibration.I have even noticed that when setting the calibration in Windows the stick no longer does full movements all around the box and the Twist axis also will not max out to both sides.I also HATE the throttle control on this thing.I have had more problems trying to keep the throttle perfectly centered so I am not moving planes, Choppers, and vehicles in forward or backward direction. If you are like me and tend to max out the different axis on you joysticks and tend to push a little harder than normal this stick will drive you nuts. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing customer service
Shortly after purchasing a new cyborg evo, I dropped it and one of the small buttons broke off.I thought oh, well that's life, but decided to e-mail Saitek to see if I could get a replacement. They responded very quickly and mailed a replacement to me at no charge.I have found that this joystick works perfectly for my needs. It's a quality product from a quality company!

3-0 out of 5 stars careful, no twist
I haven't had this long enough to speak about durability, but if you're into things Mechwarrior, be aware this joystick has no stick twist capability, making it useless for games where this an issue.

5-0 out of 5 stars Logitech Attack 3 Joystick purchase from TigerDirect
This device is just what I needed! It is a high-quality USB product and very responsive. I simply plugged it into the 2.0 USB port and it configured itself and was ready for action. I got an excellent price for the joystick and it arrived in 3 days after it shipped. I commend the vendor for his speedy service and exceptional packaging.

4-0 out of 5 stars a good product
I have several CH product pieces and love them all.The only down side I have found is the software that comes with them for calibration isn't very user friendly.I fly MSFS2004 and had to use a 3rd party software to be able to do what I wanted with the throttles (set beta and reverse ranges, feather detents and fuel c/o) but other than that it's very easy to set up, just plug it in and my computer did the rest.Couldn't imagine flying my Aeroworx King Air with out it!

3-0 out of 5 stars Its the only thing going :(
The levers are actually pretty small. Not very realistic at all. It was VERY difficult to calibrate. I had to resort to google to find out why some of the assignments (reverse thrust) didnt work properly until I adjusted the factory default settings. I guess I was lucky to run across a thread with someone else having the same problem.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great add-on
Adds a new dimension to Flight Simulator. Construction is as to be expected from CH Products: solid and strong.

5-0 out of 5 stars ch user from 89
I started with this sticks lesser sibling, 3 buttons and a hat on the stick, you,ve seen it. I don't know what happened to it somewhere between 95and 97 but let me jut say< CH is the King of flight controls

5-0 out of 5 stars Very nice stick
If you cannot afford the Cougar, this is the next best HOTAS. I really have to make a correction to a posted review earlier by CeeTee. CeeTee stated that the stick was not realistic, because the F-16 has the stick between the legs. If you leanred this from playing LOMAC, then you might want to try something a little more realistic. The Viper has always had a fly-by-wire side stick design. When the first prototype was designed in 1974, it had the sidestick design. Back at that time, the Viper was nicknamed, the computer jet. Just thought I would staighten this out so someone doesn't get the wrong information.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great joystick.
You don't always get what you pay for, but you do with this joystick. Wow! This is the quality that I have been searching for. Thrustmaster used to make stuff almost this good. For me the old TM WCS2 and F4 were a killer combo I didn't think would ever be replaced, but I honestly don't believe it could have possibly been done any better then this. I got the fighter stick and the Pro Throttle USB and I am extremely happy with both. I guess I should toss out my old CH pedals and buy some new ones as well, but it's a shame since they still work fine. It's one of the few game accessory I have ever bought, that actually became obsolete before it broke. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars My experience was problematic.
I want to say first off that the Flight Stick is pretty cool, and I didn't not like it.I had to send it back due to problems that I had with it.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!
I've used joysticks for gaming since the Atari age in the good ol' days, and I know many different models and what they can (and can't do), and this one most definitely takes the prize of the best joystick ever. Not only it's well designed (the base won't flip over as in many other models I know) but it also looks way cool!. Besides, the smart design of the stick makes it fully adjustable -and comfortable- for both right and left handed (I'm left handed and I constantly feel discriminated by the so-called "ergonomic" designs). The force feedback feature is also another highlight in this model, as it can truly kick you off from your seat if set to full power. Don't be afraid, as you can tweak the intensity to your liking. A must for true flight simulators, when you want to "feel" the plane.
5-0 out of 5 stars Saitek Cyborg Evo Force PC Flight Stick - PS27 / excellent for FS2004

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Option for the Price
What's better than a joystick thats high quality, solid feel, programmable buttons and NO wires!! You just connect the little sensor to a USB port, and put the CD in...it installs, and you're ready. On Battlefield 2 I just went to the controls menu, and programmed each of the buttons and the accelerator switch easily.
4-0 out of 5 stars Works for Me.
This Joystick is a step up from the corded version. It's light weight and comfortable to handle.I recommend this over the corded version. As for use, it's not bad, but i have always used Logitech Joysticks, so i am one sided.Give it a shot, i am sure you will be happy with the performance.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nice features, poor quality
I bought this for private pilot training. All of the switches, throttles, etc. are easy to set up and use. The problem is the quality of materials makes this unsuitable for training for piloting a real plane. After a short time the internal friction builds up so that it is impossible to get the yoke to center. This means that it is not possible to get a plane trimmed out and the pilot must make constant attitude adjustments. Also because of the friction a firm shove is required to initiate any movement. This technique transferred to a real plane causes a very abrupt application of force to the flight controls. Needless to say this makes practicing IFR just about impossible.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good solid Yoke, the game doesn't support yokes
You can get one of three versions of this flight yoke. This one is the best of them.It has three levers for Throttle, Prop angle and fuel.It also has the ignition switch(I guess) and enough buttons/switches to make any unliscensed airliner pilot happy. The only thing is the game that comes with it is NOT an airliner sim, it's a fighter sim and you need a flight stick(or any standard Joystick) to play it good. The flight yoke is programable but comes with no instructions and no software.I still am going to have to look up some airplain info as to how to program it right(or I'm just an idiot and don't have ESP like everyone else).Rudders are a must because hey, it's a flight yoke and you may as well go all the way.I was feeling silly so I put a silly review for the Throttle Quadrant I will probably have to find info on it too as with all CH no instructions/maps.Other than that, a Big Five Alive! This thing is rock solid. The plastic is(or seems) the kind used to make polycart trash dumpsters, meaning if you drop it it is as if you didn't.The controls are responsive. The wheel is a bit off center but maybe that's the way the game programs it.I still don't know how to properly set the travel of the rudders axis in the game included with this yoke as it is meant for a flight stick. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Nice-especially for the price
I really like this joystick. It has all the buttons most of us need. I especially like the dial on the underside that allows you to adjust the stiffness (resistance) of the motion. I did a lot of flying in real aircraft and have trouble getting accustomed to theflacid low resistance video game feel of most joysticks. It installs on Windows XP without having to use drivers or intallation CD's, which often are a problem. If you are going to play with flight simsmany hours a day, get a higher quality CH joystick, otherwise this one one works great, at a good price. And it can be adjusted much closer to the feel found in real aircraft.

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than Sidewinder
Great joystick! I didn't think I could find any better than my Sidewinder, but I was wrong! Very configurable and smooth!

5-0 out of 5 stars outstanding joystick - best I ever used
cons: The stick is right-handed ONLY.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awsome again
This is my first USB throttle Controler. Well I say it will be my last too. There is no other CH Products rock period. I can remember all the other joystick I have bought before and all the money I have wasted. CH is the only way to go. And no I don't work for them. I am a gammer and a flight sims pilot. With this throttle controler and there joystick, well all I can say is wow. It only made my flight sims even better. Well next stop is the rudder pedals. I want it as real as I can get. The price to me was high, but for the product it worth every cent. You can programs this throttle controler any way you want. But you should know how to set up flight sims games. This is for advance gamers. So be patient set it up. It rocks and right on CH Products. If it not CH Product, well it not a Flight Controller. Works great on my IL-2, Microsoft 2004, Lock On, Air War of Vietnam, Microsoft Firepower, and other Flight games I have. I high recommend this product.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good, but it could have been better
First of all, I believe this product should be complemented with a good joystick, CH Fighterstick being the first choice. Of course, it can function alone, but I really can't think of any situation where one would need a throttle without a joystick.5-0 out of 5 stars Don't know what I did without it!
This is an amazing product, it truly transforms your flight sim experience. I had been used to the simple [$$] joysticks with the throttle as a little nob on the side of the thing. This, as part ofa HOTAS system (like another CH products jostick), is just worlds apart -- they give you about a bazillion 4-way hat switches, which I use to increment prop pitch, fuel mixtures, supercharger stages, flaps, &c, and three buttons on the front. They also have an interesting mini-joystick, which theoretically one could use as a mouse, although I haven't gotten that to work -- but it is useful for other sorts of analog-action motions, such as the rudder control.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The little joystick that could
It doesn't have all the features of those big sticks you see out there, but it has everything you need for most games: four action buttons, a hat, and a throttle wheel. Plus it takes up less space on your desktop and it's easy to use regardless of the size of your hands. The only thing is that it's light so you have to hold it with both hands.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Joystick I Ever Bought.
I have gone through a number of joysticks over the years and this is the best for the money. It is very durable. The buttons are easy to use and can be configured in most games. I really like the fact that I have had this product for 3 years without breaking it or having "drifting" or alingment problems. My only problem is I could not get this to work on Windows 2000, but it works great with WIN98!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Most comfortable!
The Blackhawk joysticks are the most comfortable sticks in a persons' hand. The right-side of the joystick has a molded piece of plastic that cradles your hand. All the other sticks have some sort of hand support but the Blackhawk has the best. You may want your fancy buttons and triggers but the question you must ask is "Do I want fancy buttons and hand cramping or do i want a joystick that feels like it's made for my hand?"Go Gravis Blackhawk!!! ... I've been using CH Products joysticks for about 15 years now and think they are great.I use the product (Flightstick USB Pro) primarily for multiplayer on-line air combat in Aces High, have used it in the past for lots of Air Warrior, and use it for a bit of WWII Online.I like the feel of this flightstick very much (the perfect amount of spring load for me), and CH Products makes quality products that seem sturdy and that last. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Very unstable in Battlefield 2
I just bought this joystick. After configuring it on Win XP SP2.It recognized the device, was easily calibrated, and easily allocated onto BF2.When the game-play started my trigger didn't work. After restarting in another server, my trigger worked, but then my yaw (joystick twist) and all the secondary thumb buttons as well as the 8 way hat did not respond.I still have no idea as to what might be causing the conflict.
1-0 out of 5 stars useless in XP, at first
i installed the two XP driver options from the website, as well as the software from the website, and this thing is useless.windows recognizes the stick, but the special software doesn't.it keeps saying "plug in the controller now."i need programability.
4-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
Does not function with Microsoft Fighter Ace II, but works with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, do not know why.And it is not as comfortable as it looks. But otherwise is OK. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Throttle
I see a lot of gripes about this hoystick's digital throttle here. Just so that everyone knows, if you HOLD DOWN on the throttle buttons instead of tapping them, then the amount of throttle will change at a slower rate. The "20%" resolution exits for when you want to greatly increase your throttle in a hurry, but there is a method for getting 27% throttle when you need it.

5-0 out of 5 stars saitek st 90
the product was every thing as advertized. it works great and I am happy with it. I would recomend it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not too good.
I couldnt invert the axis with this joystick... it had no program that will let me and the game wont let me even if i click the invert axis box. It is ugly, the package is horrible, design is poor. The buttons are pretty good though and it feels OK. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars no feeling
This joystick has no feel. The horizontal and vertical trim wheels are a joke at best. I had a Microsoft Sidewinder that was far superior. This joystick has a very plastic feel more of a toy than a real sim stick. It sets up easy and is ready to fly in no time but the lack of feel is disturbing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Joystick
I've only used the basic functions of this joystick (i.e. none of the 34 programmable functions) but this thing is smooth, solid, and works like a charm. The grip is comfortable and the buttons are well placed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good, but some small drawbacks.
First off, this review is meant for PC users.Since CH Products is one of the few companies that supports Macs the only joystick better than this one would be their next step up, the Fighterstick. For a Mac I would give this 5 stars. Also, I will be reviewing the CH products Flightstick, Combatstick, and Fighterstick at the same time (using the Combatstick here as the base) since they are all pretty much the same except for the number of buttons.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great in its day!
I've owned this stick for years and it always served me well, until the advent of Windows XP and M$'s infinite wisdom in deciding NOT to support XP with the Sidewinder Game Controller software!
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Joystick
The Precision Pro is amazing. The movement is smooth and simple, and it's very ergonomic. I had this joystick for over 8 years, and I never had a problem! It still looks and plays like new! Definitely worth the buy!

4-0 out of 5 stars Works fine with XP
I am confused by the claims that this joystick does not work with XP.XP is plug-and-play: just hook up the USB adapter and plug the thing in.It registers perfectly.Go to control panel and mess with the calibration and test all your buttons - that works perfectly as well. One drawback in not being able to use the W95 software is a lack of ability to reprogram the buttons - no biggie since most software will let you do the same, but I dropped one star for that reason.XP users - don't concern yourself with the disk that comes with the joystick, just plug the thing in and get on with the games! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Lefty Joystick
This is a great joystick for lefties.I bought this from Beach Audio and it came so fast I couldn't believe it.That is a great place to purchase this from. There are multiple vendors who sell this on this Amazon site, so if you want to purchase from Beach Audio, you'll have to make sure to select them above on the right and side.As of this entry, their price was like $1.00 more than another vendor, but I can tell you that it is worth a dollar to me for a fast, hassle free buying experience.I'm not sure how the shipping compares between the two though.I purchased this joystick for Battlefield 2.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Love This Thing!
I purchased theth Flight Stick for myself for Christmas and have had a blast using it ever since. The manufacturing quality of the unit is excellent and the adjustable grip rests for your hand aids significantly in finding your most comfortable grip.My favorite feature (next to the unit being wireless)is the feel of the unit while in use, especially flying. The twist grip is also very handy for rudder control and has an unexpectedly (rudders are normally operated by your feet) natural feel...great product!

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome company, great joystick.
I bought this joystick a couple of days ago, and as soon as I got it, I set it up and was playing in about 10 minutes. I am always impressed with saitek's products, and it was no dirrerent this time. Works well a good distance away from the reciever, which is smaller than most jumpdrives. And what is even better, the stick base has a built in holder for the reciever. The only thing thati gave this 4 stars for is because it is very light. I wasnt really expecting this, but I think it is something i can get used to. All in all i think this a very well made stick, extremely portable, and looks good too. I highly recommend this stick or any of the other great saitek joysticks. ... Read more
