your hypertext markup language leaves MUCH to be desired! How can you expect one to purchase anything when the pricing page doesn't come up properly?I'm sure the msntv is at least 4 stars IF your page was properly set up. BTW, I am on a computer and not having difficulty with frames.

Replacement WebTV Keyboard
Very pleased with the service, speed of delivery, and so far the quality of my new WebTV keyboard!The old keyboard only used one AAA battery; this one uses FOUR AA batteries, so speed is noticeably faster.Also appreciative of all the informative e-mails that came to me, both from Amazon and from the seller, NW ITV Dealers.

Well done
We bought the Mailbug for my ninety year old mother.She had used the Mailstation for several years.It was always a problem because the screen and the keyboard were way too small. The Mailbug is great with its larger keyboard and much larger, backlit screen.It is also very easy to use which makes a huge difference. It was also very easy to get her up and going.It took a couple calls to get through, but when I did they were very helpful and nice and we set it up in a minute.I would recommend this to anyone.Good job Mailbug!

Mailbug works exactly as advertised
This was purchased for my 82 year old Father-in-law who is very computer-phobic. With it he is receiving and sending Email messages with no problem.He likes the product and uses it.
Easy to use - Good service
Landel was very helpful and polite both with questions before the purchase and with the setup of the account. Setup was easy. Operation was straightforward which was important since this was going to a relative with no computer exposure. I didn't have to leave voice mails. There was a coupon from Amazon where Landel would credit you with 3 months of service. I mailed the coupon just expecting to have the ~$30 credited to my account and was suprised to get a call from Landel to tell me that they had received the coupon and the ~$30 would be credited immediately. Great for KIDS
If your kids stay on your PC all the time, download wierd stuff, mess with your settings, have TV's in their rooms - then this is GREAT for them!It is nearly impossible to mess up and you can't do a lot of stuff (like download) with it.It is great for general surfing and checking email.Perfect for a child to keep the adult's computer free!

E Mail Only
Look folks the Bill Clinton era is over.Why pay 21.95 just for e mail machine and to do a few out dated HTML codes.If you don't want to pay 199$ for the RCA4100,ante up another 150$ and get a cheap computer.I gave my old door stop to a friend.The 2100 has outlived it's usefulness.So don't waste your hard earned $$$.

Good But Could Be A Little Better!.
We originally had one of the old Plus receiversand I loved it and that I could watch TV while online but it broke and I found out that they weren't making them anymore so I had to buy this classic receiver and while I do enjoy using it I can't help feeling that I downgraded. Another thing I don't care for with this basic classic receiver is the power cord, it's an adapter that you plug in an outlet or surge protector which is fine but the end that goes into the MSN TV is like a tiny earphone jack on a portatble walkman tape player and the adapter gets hot and makes a loud buzzing or humming noise if the MSN TV receiver is on for over an hour or more and I much preferred the sturdier power cord for the Plus receiver. Please someone start making the plus receivers again, I liked the plus receiver so much that I didn't mind that the monthy fee for the plus service was a little bit more than the classic service. I do like the MSNTV service though and I like that they let you have six email screen names which makes it great for members of a family to have their own email addresses. I know that 6 seperate email addresses is alot but honesly I wish that they would add more. It would be great to have at least 10 but realisticly I would be fine with just 8.

We have computers and I know how to use them and I also have an MSN TV Internet receiver and even though we aren't doing it right now you can combine your MSN service on both your computer and MSN TV. I enjoy using the MSN TV and I actually prefer using this instead of our fritzy lap top computer. We originally had the old Web TV Plus Internet receiver and I loved using it but it was zapped by lightening and it burned out the modem and unfortunately they aren't being made anymore so I had to buy this classic model and though I still prefer the advantages of the plus receiver with getting TV updates I also like this classic receiver. ... Not the keyboard you are used to.
I needed a replacement keyboard for my webTV. I ordered this one because like it would be more comfortable to hold. It is not! It is big and bulky, and my hands actually get sore from it. While it works as it should. There are many buttons moved around and a lot missing all together. There are no "F" keys....instead there are a lot of keys on top that don't do anything for the web tv. Also, I don't know if this is just on the one I got or not, but the keys stick and will not type 2 letters or numbers that are the same in a row. The seller I got this from was great...fast shipping. But unless you are desperate for a replacement kb for your webtv....go with the regular one. Now I am going to order the regular one now and keep this one as a spare.

It's Great
I have two different webtv plus receivers. The first purchased in 1999 and the second in 2001.This is the first keyboard that I have found that is compatible with both of my receivers. I especially like the three different colored keys, making it easier for me to avoid errors, especially when hurrying to finish an email.The keys do not become as uncooperative (sticky, just don't always print) as the key boards did that came with the two receivers I have. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone seaching for a webtv plus keyboard.

It's Better Than I Thought
On an earlier review, I stated that you could not get PinP, (picture in picture), with this unit.It states in the manual that PinP is not provided, but you can get it.Press the CMD button and the W button together, for PinP.then press CMD and M together to change the position of the PinP. A good idea that disappoints
I received this as a gift a month ago, so I can't fairly gripe about the cost.But it's certainly an overpriced paperweight.I compare it to the Galileo thermometer (also a gift) it sits next to on my desk -- attractive and a conversation piece, but minimal practicality.

The orb works as defined.It's usefulness is open to interpretation.Out of the box, I believe it to be an overpriced conversation piece.

94-year old grandmother LOVES this
My 94 year-old grandmother is afraid to use a computer-too complicated, but the Mailstation has been GREAT for her and she says she uses it far more than she would have ever imagined.Setup was a little difficult in terms of the dial in numbers, but once that was established she's been e-mailing like a pro.I don't know how long she waits for customer service, she has a few numbers she works with and has mentioned something about it being hard to get a person on the line - but she does absolutely love the machine and thinks its one of the most useful gifts she's ever received - she got it for her 90th birthday.

I would rather not bother with virus protection at home, so the mailstation is perfect. I get Internet at work and use computer at home for other activities. I let the employer worry about virus protection updates.

I think this is a great idea, and thats all.I bought the 250 and had nothing but trouble with it.After 5 hours on the phone with customer support, I decided to take it back and get a refund.I ended up buying the mailstation 120 and it has been great, no trouble at all.This was a gift for my elderly grandmother, and she has used it almost every day since, and she loves it!! ... Money Well Spent!
I have a 1.5 mbps DSL connection and use Skype as my primary home phone. When my kids are on the internet viewing websites with a lot of Macroflash video, playing games or downloading music, my VOiP quality simply goes down the tubes. Lags, echoes, choppiness, you name it. I tried adjusting the QoS on my router but that didn't really do much. That's when I stumbled across this excellent product by Hawking Technologies. It pretty much does what routers with built in QoS does, only 100x better. It utilizes a proprietary chip called StreamEngine that is dedicated to streamlining and prioritizing the packets sent by all of your internet applications with a focus on real time applications such as VOiP and Games. The key word here is "sent" because it does nothing to your download stream. The result is a much improved internet experience for the whole family!
OK but there is room for improvements
I connected the device and it works. It shapes the upload bandwidth to prioritize time sensitive data transfers, like Voice over IP.
Comcast + VoIP + HBB1 = Bliss
I've had issues with my VoIP voice quality while simutaneously sending email attachments or doing an FTP upload. I'd get all digital so I'm told. So I thought I'd give this Hawking unit a shot. Let me tell you it just flat out works. Plug and play, small unit fits comfortably atop my belkin router, they even give you a four-inch electrical extenstion cord just in case thier tiny brick doesn't fit comfortably onto your power strip. Works on ReplayTV Also
The WebTV remote code also works with my RePlayTV.I have the 5500 series and I believe it also works with the 5000 series.This is very handy for typing in the Find Shows function or Rename Show function instead of using the RePlay cursor to individually select each letter.About a dozen keys operate the various functions that are found on the RePlay remote, such as menu, channel guide, recorded shows, etc.

i had droped the one that came with my msntv unit so i ordered this one to replace the one i droped because it missed up i am still useing it till i get this one its the same one i have now but like i said i droped it and it doesnt work real well now but i love the keyboard will be glad to get the new one

Buy this RCA Webtv/Msn Keyboard
I bought this keyboard to replace my Sony keyboard. I have the Sony 250 model webtv unit and this keyboard works better than the sony keyboard. The keys are bigger and easier for me to see since I wear glasses it really helps to have the larger text on the keys. I also like the thumb holders on each side of the keyboard. This keyboard takes 4 AA batteries but I think they last longer in this keyboard than the Sony. I have had this keyboard over a year and it's still works like brand new. The forecast calls for technical support...
The idea of this device is great: it picks up a 5-day weather forecast from AccuWeather and displays the key elements on its screen.Icons show projected weather conditions and temperature ranges at a glance, along with the current outdoor temperature.Unfortunately, if your experience is like mine, you may find yourself spending a fair amount of time corresponding with Ambient's apparently sole customer service rep trying to get the device to work properly.I have owned one of these for several weeks now and am already on my second unit; Ambient replaced the first one under warranty after first sending me a refurbished pager board that didn't fit in the unit's plastic case.The replacement unit had a problem too: the little switch on the bottom wasn't working properly, making it impossible to select among city forecasts in my area.Because I had already had experience (too much) opening the case, I think I managed to solve the problem; at any rate, the unit appears to be receiving updated forecasts for New York City, which has been my primary objective since I bought it. So if you're game for a little fiddling, you may be very pleased with this 5-day forecaster.If you can't be bothered with things that don't work properly right out of the box, however, you should probably pass this gadget by.I have come to understand why Radio Shack has apparently unloaded their remaining inventory of these at $15 a pop; you may be especially upset by the "adoption pains" if you have shelled out the retail price of 100 clams...

Great simple item but shop around for best price!
99$? I found this same item on Radio Shack for 13$ The SAME EXACT ITEM! All it is is an LCD screen that receives radio signals that are transferred into icons. It is updated every 15 minutes and finds your location. Very neat item - for 13$ 99$ would be another story.
