5-0 out of 5 stars Built like a tank
After throwing away my Tungsten E (total junk).A friend gave me his old Palm m500 which he never used.
5-0 out of 5 stars review
i had a palm zire but it is to slow and frustrating.so i decided to get the m500 instead of the m505 which was a lot better choice because if you read the reviews for the m505 it has a lot more bad comments.Plus do you really need a color screen when you can just use a backlight.

1-0 out of 5 stars Would you trust your most important data to this?
I owned a terrific Palm V which I dropped and destroyed by accident. Then I bought an m500. What a mistake. It has been nothing but problems.

5-0 out of 5 stars perfect travel companion
I bought one of these about six or seven months ago and liked it so well right away that I bought one for my partner a few months later. We literally live on the road at present and our iPAQs are the most essential item of all. They hold our library of ebooks, our family photo album, our music, writing, check our email, voice recorder, we keep track of dates, appointments, plane and bus reservations and a million other things. They really do it all and the wi fi capability is terrific. I covered the revolution in Nepal on my iPAQ when it was impossible to get anywhere to use the internet. I'd need a suitcase full of stuff and equipment to replace it!
5-0 out of 5 stars Better than every Palm
This is the third PDA I've owned and couldn't be happier with my choice. My first one was a Zire 73. Never coldnt manage it. SEcond one was an IPAQ 2410. Supreme. but a needed more memory and faster processor
5-0 out of 5 stars Stellar Performance Outweighs Annoying Glitches
The hp hx2755 iPaq PocketPC is one sweet little machine. It is everything I hoped for and the biometric security features are fantastic.

The more valuable information you can learn from your outdoor exercise, the more motivated you'll be. Enter the Suunto X3 heart rate monitor, which not only serves as an informative and reliable training tool, but also adds an altimeter, barometer, and thermometer for good measure. The monitor's transmitter belt wraps securely around your chest, where it reads your real-time average heart rate, analyzes the information, and sends it to the wrist-top computer. Once the information is captured, you can compare your average heart rate with your instant heart rate, speed up or slow down to match the target pace, or set the interval timer to meet specific heart rate goals. It can also help you gauge the impact of altitude and topographic factors on your training by matching your heart rate with the altimeter readings. Want to design the perfect training regimen for mountainous hikes? Look no further than the X3.Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good in a limited way
I will make it short since there are already some nice, detailed reviews.
4-0 out of 5 stars Reasonably priced good product
This is a great PDA and GPS receiver in one. I have been using this for 3 weeks and I love it. The only problem is that it requires a soft reset atleast twice a week (pda crashes). It provides routing and voice prompts. It does provide optimal routing 75% of the time. Overall good product.

5-0 out of 5 stars The iQue 3600 has a high IQ
This is a terrific device.I am a long-time palm user, and this upgrade (adding the GPS and mapping) is awesome.

1-0 out of 5 stars Should be categorized as "toy"
I wanted an inexpensive, small device that I could keep in my backpack with addresses and telephone numbers, and synchronize with a "master" that I'd keep on my PC.So I bought this.First, I learned that the advertised "PC Synchronization" capability requires you to shell out another $7.95 and wait another few weeks for delivery.Second, when I installed the PC Synchronization software on my PC, I learned that it lacks even a rudimentary import or export feature, so I'd have to retype all the 300+ addresses currently in my electronic addressbook. Finally, I learned that there's a limit of about 36 characters on the "address" and "notes" fields of the database, meaning I do not even have room to store enter my own, relatively simple address, let alone a multi-line business address or reasonable notes like the names of people's children or the date that I updated a record.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Watch!!
I gave this watch to my fiance & he has really enjoyed tracking our altitude gain on bike rides.I've appreciated knowing the temperature. Can't wait for ski season!

3-0 out of 5 stars Get the old style ...
I've had a VECTOR for more than 5 years, GREAT TOOL, but it finally slipped away to lost-watch land. I bought a new one and was very sad to send it back. You see, I could see the old black letters on a white face just fine, even in bright sunshine. The new improved model has faint green letters on a black background -- much harder to see while hiking or sailing, especially when wearing polarized sunglasses. The graphics on the new model are also much harder to discern --for example, the indicator for degrees F or degrees C is tiny (granted that is probably an issue only during set-up). The good folk at Suunto have still not addressed the problem of accidentally uncalibrating the barometric sensor -- that's a problem if you hit the buttons while running -- and the manual still doesn't help you get out of the mess in the field. It was a great product for backcountry activity, now it's mostly for show.Look for the old version and buy a new battery ...

5-0 out of 5 stars Suunto Vector
This is the second Suunto Vector watch i have owned. Only because the first one was lost. The only two draw backs of this watch is battery life and my band broke twice in two years. Seems to me they could offer a much longer life battery and a band that would hold up alot better. the battery lasts about 6 months only. For the price of this watch ($230) you think tehy could do alittle better.

All roads seem to be leading to the PDA. 5-0 out of 5 stars Best Organizer In The W O R L D!
The Sharp YO-520P is the best organizer I've used. It can do the following:4-0 out of 5 stars Interesting but...
I have another Sharp organizer and it is the EL-6990.That one is a little more easier to use. This one has no games on it but I like the fact that maybe I might be able to do with it.The other one I have was cheaper. But this one is worth your while but keep the manual on hand like I do because I just got this one. I am still having some trouble shooting but I am getting used to it.Does this one also sychonize with your pc and have it's own organizer software for it?My EL 6990 has the software and can be backed on the computer?

5-0 out of 5 stars KISS for replacing your address book
I have been using the Sharp series for over 10 years now. The great thing is at this price I can have 2 backup devices for travelling and keep one at work-so I am never w/o my info! I back it all up on my PC and sychronize it as needed. I use the Palm Pilot for some work, but it cannot beat the simplicity of this device for storing hundreds of names,#s,emails and addresses! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A bit surprised!
I bought the X-Lander because I am a pilot and wanted a bit more information when I needed it. The watch is well designed and of good quality. A few things did disappoint me, but I think they are outweighed by the features, however.
2-0 out of 5 stars Way too big
I bought this watch because I wanted an altimeter but needed to return it because of its size. It is HUGE - looked like I had a clock on my wrist. Take into consideration.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Watch
This watch screams high-tech, and anyone venturing off to a comic book convention is bound to get a few nods from people dressed in Sith Lord garb and even a wicked witch or two.

5-0 out of 5 stars a wonderful product
I purchased this Bible a few weeks ago and I love it.I'm finding that I'm reading the Bible more than ever now. It's easy to use and cross-reference.Now I don't spend so much time thumbing through looking for verses. There are also a lot of nice features (such as Daily Devotional Verses) and add-on capapilities. It's compact so I can take it anywhere. A+++++

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Bible!

4-0 out of 5 stars A great little thesaurus & dictionary
This is a great little tool for use in the office especially when you type a lot of memos, policies, procedures, etc. I use it primarily for the thesaurus, so I cannot comment on the other features. The only problem I have is that the lid pops off every time I use it. No biggie, but a fact.

5-0 out of 5 stars can't you read
First, this Franklin Spelling Ace is excellent. My children use it everyday in school and at home, and second it is recommended for age groups from 5-13 years old. Dah

2-0 out of 5 stars absolute crap
ok so i bought this figuring it will help me with essays and homework. I firgured this would not be the best, but would do its job and that what i wanted. Well it doesnt. First of all the dictionary isnt completely accurate. The Thesaurus and calculator are good. When this came to my door, i was expecting something smaller, and more sleek. This is huge (bigger than my hand) heavy and the letters are huge. They take up the whole screen, so you have to scroll to the sides and up and down to read the words. 4-0 out of 5 stars Palm did a good job with the T2
The tungsten T2 is not perfect but it is good enough that I rely upon it.The software set up can be somewhat confusing.I recommend getting the latest software and downloading it.You get a better desktop.Keep disks because if you want to add some of the optional features such as reading photographs, you need the disks.I upgraded from my zire 31 (which I purchased new and it does have a faster processor) because I wanted the voice recorder. The voice recorder works most of the time but I frequently do need to do a soft reset to get it to work.Have not figured out any rhyme or reason.I have used the voice recorder to connect to my Dragon NaturallySpeaking-I dictate into the palm pilot and it transcribes into my Dragon NaturallySpeaking. The quality of the transfer is pretty low-I probably have 80 to 90% accuracy which may sound good on paper but one mistake in 10 is a lot of mistakes in a document. The tungsten T2 is not completely reliable but with backups onto my desktop it is a very valuable tool. The processor is sufficiently slow that if you are searching for things in the desktop using the find mode, you must disable searching through the documents or it will take all day. These units are sufficiently old that you can find decent used ones for less than $100.I recently connected a foldable keyboard which works nicely (no batteries or infrared-connects through the hot synchronization).I was tempted to get a T5 until I read about all the negative reviews.I will stay with what I have.

4-0 out of 5 stars I love it -- and so will you!
This palm pilot is great for people on the go.You can put so much information and easy access!

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
I've had this little bugger for almost a full week now, and I must say, I think it was the best investment I've made concerning tools for my career (freelance writing). The Pocket version of Word is the handiest thing for an English Major on the run.I can work on whatever writing projects I have going, whenever or wherever I have the chance, and it is fully compatible with my Win XP desktop at home. And with it's organizer capabilities, it certainly eliminated a TON of the clutter in my bookbag/purse.(Before, I was carrying a writing notebook, a planner, post-it-notes for the planner, etc etc--now the h1945 has replaced darn near all of it!)
4-0 out of 5 stars very durable, good value
i have had one of these bad boys for 3 years, i have hard reset it twice and have had no problems with the screen breaking(i dont drop stuff that cost $300[at the time] so there is no problem)
5-0 out of 5 stars Screens only crack because of STUPID USERS who dont know how to take care of the product, and DROP THEM.
What else will happen to an LCD screen if it is dropped? IT WILL CRACK - Plain and simple. Be careful, and dont drop your PDA's! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Nec Mobile Pro 900
Ok to all of you looking at an alternative to pocket pc and laptops then this device will be a welcome addition and a change of some sorts. I've owned a Jornada 720, 728 and a 547 which is a pocket pc. I honestly prefer handheld to the pocket pc because it encompasses everything into one unit with minimal lugging around of accessories and gadgets. When a unit can accommodate compact flash, secure digital and has a built in modem and PCMCIA slots then u have an all in one solution. These particular styles are more geared to the mobile professional and the frequent traveler. I'm considering buying this one and selling all of my old handhelds and pocket pc's because of nothing else technology. The only manufacturer left in the game is NEC and this unit has a 400 MHz Xscale processor (the same as in the high end pocket pc's) and has 64meg of ram and rom. The thing that people are going to say negatively about this machine is the screen. That's not NEC's fault. Until Microsoft gets off its lazy unsupportive billion dollar butt and offers a service pack to the hpc2000 OS then it will be hard to foresee change. I can stand being at the mercy of software developers. Hardware has always been ahead of software throughout the inception of technology. The current Handheld OS is 4 years old and wont support higher resolutions and color depths. However this unit does have external capabilities that allow it to be displayed at 800x600 which is acceptable for power point presentations and the like. Everyone that is a Handheld owner should write and send email to Microsoft to force a service pack upgrade because these units are more than capable of providing years of good hard use and its a shame that a new warranted unit like the NEC is hampered only by the software and not technology. It's a shame as well that HP got out of the market because their Jornadas were second to none. Anyway I'm a dreamer and I do foresee an upgrade to the OS and this NEC unit does have a ton of potential and a myriad of uses. Don't buy it expecting it to compete with a pocket pc in terms of the screen and performance due to the fact it uses passive active matrix screen versus the TFT screens on ppc's and the OS isn't optimized for the Xscale processor but nonetheless nothing else fills the void and hits the spot like the mobile pro900.

5-0 out of 5 stars I found the answer!! The in-between-machine!!
I love this-- I hated carrying around a heavy laptop-- and I did not want to shell out the crazy amount of $$$ for a super light one-- because only the lightest would have been useful to me-- This is the answer-- Instant on and instantly into documents and off to work-- I've only had it a short time but its already proved incredibly useful, I've given up my notebook(actual paper spiral) that I used to haul around to meetings and though I was hesitant to give up my calendar I decided to pitch it within a few days!!!Read more
