Best bang for your "no PCI-E power" buck!
This video card was purchased for five reasons: It's based on the GeForce 7 chip, having DDR3 memory, being "factory overclocked" and that 256-P2-N555-AX (the CO "superclocked") card was no longer being released and my older GeForce 6600 fan was getting old and LOUD. The 7600 GT cards are the fastest, most powerful nVidia cards available that do not require the separate PCI-E power supply (important when you have a Small Form Factor (SFF) PC like I do.) Comparable ATI cards all have the power supply requirement, making this quite the hot item to get. The accessory cables are plain and straight forward. It includes two DVI to VGA adapters as the monitor outputs are completely digital; DVI was fine for me, but might not be everyone's cup of tea. I would suggest that you download the beta nForce drivers from nVidia before replacing/installing this card. The drivers on the CD are useable, but sorely out of date. The fan is loud when the card is crunching the graphics in games like WoW, but it settles down during IE browsing sessions.

Not our problem, contact computer manufacture
I purchased this video card to replace the one that came installed in my Sony VAIO descktop computer. I had no problem installing the hardware, or the software, the video card is a good value. But the computer now locks up when awakening from Standby. The e-mail based customer support is one shot; you ask a question, they answer(a day or so later) you can ask another question, they answer. For my problem, the answer was; either Microsoft screensaver or the Sony computer caused the problem. That funny because the only change I had made was the video card.

PNY's Customer Service is non-existent.
I bought a flash drive pen product from PNY August 2004.It worked fine for a about 6 months then the drive fried and I lost everything on it.The pen portion had a 30 day warranty and the drive has a one year warranty.I checked out PNY's website, they sent me a RMA return form, label, etc... with instructions to send the "defective" part, and a copy of the invoice, so I sent them exactly what they asked for. They returned the item back to me stating that I hadn't sent the entire item[without contacting me even though I gave them 3 phone numbers].I'd just sent the drive, not the pen portion [since that was a separate warranty item and they only stated to send the defective part].So, I resent it and included the pen portion [postage twice now, return receipt as they recommend, of about $10].I have now received an email stating they are sending it back "again" not stating why in the email, but that an explanation will be provided with the product return. No telephone numbers have been included in anything for me to talk to a live person.What a run around.
