iQue 3600 is the best GPS deal out there!
The best deal out there for GPS in my ever-so-humble opinion is a refurbished Garmin iQue 3600. It comes with Maps for the whole USA or Europe depending on the version. It comes with a cradle that sits on your dashboard (a bit tight on my 2006 Vibe, but workable) whose power plug goes into your cigarette lighter socket, and includes a nice and loud speaker. The screen is big enough for my uses.

Fun Watch!!
I gave this watch to my fiance & he has really enjoyed tracking our altitude gain on bike rides.I've appreciated knowing the temperature.Can't wait for ski season!

Get the old style ...
I've had a VECTOR for more than 5 years, GREAT TOOL, but it finally slipped away to lost-watch land. I bought a new one and was very sad to send it back. You see, I could see the old black letters on a white face just fine, even in bright sunshine. The new improved model has faint green letters on a black background -- much harder to see while hiking or sailing, especially when wearing polarized sunglasses. The graphics on the new model are also much harder to discern --for example, the indicator for degrees F or degrees C is tiny (granted that is probably an issue only during set-up). The good folk at Suunto have still not addressed the problem of accidentally uncalibrating the barometric sensor -- that's a problem if you hit the buttons while running -- and the manual still doesn't help you get out of the mess in the field. It was a great product for backcountry activity, now it's mostly for show.Look for the old version and buy a new battery ...

Suunto Vector
This is the second Suunto Vector watch i have owned. Only because the first one was lost. The only two draw backs of this watch is battery life and my band broke twice in two years. Seems to me they could offer a much longer life battery and a band that would hold up alot better. the battery lasts about 6 months only.For the price of this watch ($230) you think tehy could do alittle better.

A bit surprised!
I bought the X-Lander because I am a pilot and wanted a bit more information when I needed it. The watch is well designed and of good quality. A few things did disappoint me, but I think they are outweighed by the features, however.
Way too big
I bought this watch because I wanted an altimeter but needed to return it because of its size. It is HUGE - looked like I had a clock on my wrist. Take into consideration.

This watch screams high-tech, and anyone venturing off to a comic book convention is bound to get a few nods from people dressed in Sith Lord garb and even a wicked witch or two.

Great GPS for the price!
I bought this baby for $300, it has all the info for
Not as good as I thought
I have owned this GPS for 2 month.
My iCN 510 only work for 13 months.
I spent $544 bought a Navman iCN 510 last year in June. It only works for about 13 months. The memory card stops working. I called the tech support; they told me that it passed one-year warranty. I have to spend $150+ to ship it back and get it repaired. I can't believe this thing can really find a good time to die! At least this company is good at making it's GPS last till the warranty passes. ... Read more

Almost Perfect
This product really expanded the usefulness of my Samsung i-700 PDA/Phone.The first week, it was a huge help in getting me into the heart of Chicago with only one wrong turn (the turns were too close together for the unit to switch fast enough!).The one small glitch I had with getting the GPS to power-up was solved with a quick phone call to Pharos, and I've had no problems since.My only grumbles have been that my PDA cannot be made to stay on more than 5 minutes, while powered; and the Ostia maps are not as detailed as Microsoft Streets & Trips.Otherwise, Great! ... an excellentGPS
I have tried a Etrex Vista, Sportmap, and a Gekko but I bought a Garmin 72. I like the 72 for use on my kayak where I can usethe large screen to see my speed three feet away. This unit has beenputthrough the ringer and it just keeps working. I don't miss the mapping at all.

Garmin GPS72
Have used the GPS72 now for 4 months. It has been a pleasure to use.The Garmin operating system is is easy to follow and the prompts make it unnecessary to carry the manual to use all of the features.So far it is waterproof as advertised as it lives in my canoes and while not fully submerged is subject to splash and spray every time it is out.Approximately 66 hours of use to data and am totally happy.

Pinpoint precision
This is a great GPS, probably the best I've ever used. I started with GPS in 1997 with the Garmin GPS 38, and three years later purchased an eTrex. I was satisfied with that, but when I heard about the added features of the 72, I went ahead and bought it to replace the eTrex. It is far more powerful than the eTrex and easier to use. The 72 makes excellent use of its dedicated zoom and menu keys. These alone make this unit quicker and easier to operate than some entry-level units. The display is of higher resolution which makes things like track lines more precise--a real problem on the eTrex, on which the track appeared as a thick black line that didn't show many meanders or fine movements. Many of the software features that the GPS 38 had, but the eTrex didn't, are included here, such as the ability to measure distance between waypoints, pan on the map page, and time-stamp marked points. The receiver in the 72 is very hot and sometimes gets you a fix within seconds. The software is apparently upgradeable and the receiver is WAAS-enabled, so it's ready for the next generation of navigation. Like most GPS units it's completely waterproof and it's worked for me under very unfavorable conditions. The third GPS I've owned and probably the last one I'll ever need to buy. Changed The Way I Drive!!!
Hi,
Don't Buy if near US/Canada Border
This GPS comes with US map on the SD card and Canada map on the included CD but never the twain shall meet.
Not bad but I wouldn't buy it again.
I used it around my city and even took it to Hawaii and it was a lot of help. People forget that the idea of the GPS is to help you find where you are, where you want to go and how to get there but like everything else, it may not be 100% correct -what really is?

Don't have to worry anymore
Thanks to Nextar GPS Navigation System, I don't have to worry about making a wrong turn, due to not seeing the street name clearly. At only 54, I am experiencing not being able to read the street name.The Nextar System tells me when to turn, which way to turn and makes my driving easier.

the unit which i recieved is not working at all.
