5-0 out of 5 stars Works perfect much better than a joystick
Esactly what I was wanting. When you turn there is resistance (springs I think) and everything works great. If you use flight sims you need this product.Works awsome.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very cool - super real
I have been a private pilot for more than 20 years. This is a good way to fly whenever you can't.Very cool, super realistic.

2-0 out of 5 stars Plastic, binding, not at all worth the money
What can I say?The plastic sticks in the assembly, making it really hard to control.

4-0 out of 5 stars Closest thing to a Console Controller for PC
Probably the best gamepad for PCS from logitech...it rumbles just like console controllers...cordless...and has the basic same feel as other console controllers...more closer to the playstaion one though...keep in mind the rumble funcion doesnt work with all games...and from my experience the controller works best overall with EA games..I play Need for speed most wanted and NBA live 2006....abosolutely no problems...great acuracy and compatibily.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay but get 360 controller instead
Let's face it. Most pc gamepad cannot compete with console controller in terms of their precision and durability. I admit thatthis game pad is one of better ones around but still it is not as durable as I would like since I tends to be really hard on controller and I really don't want to worry about a controller breaks on me.
1-0 out of 5 stars Discriminating gamer.
This unit has been in my hands for two weeks, and already I'm having serious issues with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good game pad
This game pad is comfy and works well. Do load and use the software that came with it. For some games it is unnecessary but others it will correct some powerfully annoying problems.
5-0 out of 5 stars great gamepad, wish more games allowed for it
The gamepad is wonderful. It feels good in my hands, the analog sticks feel solid and work well, and the rumble feedback is just enough without being too much.I only wish I was able to use it on more games, but that isn't the gamepad's fault so I didn't take any stars off for it.

2-0 out of 5 stars great for about 2 months
I bought this controller to use with Doom on my laptop. The configuration is excellent and installation was very easy. However, about 2 months later the left joystick acted up and moves me forward without even touching it.I reinstalled the software, recalibrated several times, and I still creep forward even when I'm not touching the joystick. It's impossible to get my character to stand still.I can adjust to this when I'm playing the actual game, but it's impossible to scroll through menus and such when the joystick is constantly moving "up".Anyway, I'm shopping for another controller later today... ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect
If you need a cheap PC controller to play systems on emulators like NES or SNES, then this is perfect. The buttons respond perfectly. The D-pad isn't perfect, but it's excellent. There's nothing wrong with this at all.
4-0 out of 5 stars STUMBLE FINGERS
Tried RumblePad 2 this is for a gammer, which I'm not and it controlled less with my innocent games then the Precision Plug and Go. This is very easy to use ,it won't controll somethings (spacebar usage) or the arrow usage on somegames, but others it will. For the price..it works well..Where is there a game controller to work arrows AND spacebar in the innocent 'fun' games...all arrow and spacebar games???Oh well...some of something is better then nothing....

5-0 out of 5 stars Cheap, solid, works well
Like many others here, I use this gamepad for emulators. I am pleasantly surprised by the compatibility - it works with every emulator I've tried it with (MAME, SNES9x, Nester, Gens, VColeco, Stella). There are no drivers to install if you own Windows XP - detection is flawless.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great gamepad...
...for about 6 months. For anyone planning on using this controller infrequently, it's really not a bad purchase. But for folks looking to log a lot of hours on it, run away. The fundamental flaw in this controller is the poor quality of the rotating contacts used in the analog sticks (I've pulled apart a few failed ones for autopsies). The metal just simply disintegrates after enough use. The sticks lose their sensitivity, and the pad fails as mentioned in so many other reviews. What's worse is that the ones sold on retail shelves RIGHT NOW are identical to the very first Dual Actions released, and Logitech apparently has no intention of upgrading or fixing the design. Let this be a lesson to manufacturers: don't order 10 million units of a component regardless of how good a deal the supplier cuts you. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Absolute Junk
This was by far the worse purchase ever it didn't even work out of the box, and the construction is so flimsy, it's pathetic.Oh and fyi the instructions are so vague, goodluck understanding em.I think my 6 yr old niece could have done a better job writing the instructions.Do yourself a favor and avoid this piece of junk at all costs.Buy a nostramos n52 pad not as many buttons, but much much better over all.

4-0 out of 5 stars Zboard fang gaming pad
I love my gaming pad it was well worth the money, you do have to update it once you install it so it works with most games. Not very easy to program the buttons if you want to switch them... you will have to do it threw your games keyboard layout to switch them... so that kinda sucked. Also my b (back up key) dose not work at all...has to be a defective keyboard button but the rest work. Great board and a must have if you love first person shooter games. takes a week to get used to but it took a week to get used the keyboard when i started playing online pc computer games. I would bu the product again and use my everyday.

4-0 out of 5 stars Ideazon ZGP-1000 Fang Gaming Pad: Weapon of Mass Destruction...
Seldom would you see military equipment used by civilians but during the past decade, we do see that untested even alien-like equipment come into the commercial market, just like in MIB. The Hummer is actually one of those military vehicles that have made it mainstream. Ideazon makes the claim that the ZNP-1000 Fang is one of those equipment tested by the military and declassified for civilian use. Talk about controlling weapons of mass destruction.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice!
I was very curious about this keyboard.
5-0 out of 5 stars A must have.
It's a great keyboard. Nice size and its easy to type on. The only problem I ran into was its too small to fit on your lap. You will need some sort of lapboard or it just wont work. This keyboard is a must have for PS2 On-line users though. 5 stars all the way.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this keyboard!
Since it came out in 2004 I have been an avid player of Final Fantasy XI. I play on the PS2 and until now I have been using a Logitech Elite full-sized keyboard. Short cord, large and cumbersome, and just recently it had a nasty habit of flaking out on me in the middle of dire situations.

3-0 out of 5 stars Never liked that "fan your hands" idea.
Wireless I guess has some reason to exist, and Turbo was always nice, but I never jumped on the "fan your hands" bandwagon. It just seemed like a dumb idea, gadgetizing the controller way too much. Though I do like the design of this pad. Very nice "cross" d-pad unlike the stock "4 slivers of hard plastic" the standard PS1&2 pads give you. Its got rubber grips, so it probably has more ruggedness than the common flimsy PC gamepad. But if you really want console ruggedness on your PC, just go get an adapter from Lik-Sang and Joy2Key software, then you can use any PS1 or 2 pad you've got lying in your closet as a PC device and you'll have the ability to map it to keyboard and mouse.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great controller
Unlike all the other reviewers, I'm using this controller with a Mac. None of the packaging or instructions say it supports Macs, but the Nyko website offers a Mac driver that works perfectly well with OS 10.4.3. I mapped the controller to keyboard functions so I get universal support in all my games... and I can even use one of the analog sticks to manipulate my cursor from a distance (great for using it as a remote to watch DVDs on the computer, especially with the long cord). I should note that both the Windows and Mac drivers were updated early in 2005, so some of the older complaints by reviewers here may be solved with a driver update.
1-0 out of 5 stars Bad PC Game Controller. . .
The controller does not retain your custom settings, its way to bulky and the D-pad does not work on alot of games and theres nothing you can do about it. I read alot of the reviews on here and I see everybody seems to compare pc controllers to that of the PS2, then I suggest you go with the (Logitech Rumblepad 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad) It has all of the features of the PS2 (size, vibration feature, and all the same buttons) and you can use the D-pad on just about every game. Its trully the best pc game controller out in the market now for its features and price. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy if you own an Intel Mac
After I purchased and opened this product, I have found that Macally does NOT offer updated drivers for intel based macs.
4-0 out of 5 stars iShock and Pangea's Bugdom 2 in Mac OS X
I have continued to tweak the custom settings control for the iShock Game Controller and I have been able to get it to do everything I want it to do. Even make the Directional Control Pad as responsive as I want it to be. I have been able make the force feed back work as well.
5-0 out of 5 stars Get Two!
Do you like to play games on MacOS? Well, if you do, get this controller, or maybe even two of them. The driver for this controller is great. You can have the device configured on a per-application basis. So, you can have one setting for SpyHunter and another one for WingNuts. Look in to getting two of them, then you can have your friends play against you. The force feedback technology is great, you feel the bumps when you drive over dirt or when you crash. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars no feeling
This joystick has no feel. The horizontal and vertical trim wheels are a joke at best. I had a Microsoft Sidewinder that was far superior. This joystick has a very plastic feel more of a toy than a real sim stick. It sets up easy and is ready to fly in no time but the lack of feel is disturbing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Joystick
I've only used the basic functions of this joystick (i.e. none of the 34 programmable functions) but this thing is smooth, solid, and works like a charm. The grip is comfortable and the buttons are well placed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good, but some small drawbacks.
First off, this review is meant for PC users.Since CH Products is one of the few companies that supports Macs the only joystick better than this one would be their next step up, the Fighterstick. For a Mac I would give this 5 stars. Also, I will be reviewing the CH products Flightstick, Combatstick, and Fighterstick at the same time (using the Combatstick here as the base) since they are all pretty much the same except for the number of buttons.

5-0 out of 5 stars Razer ExactMat
Pretty simple decision, if you don't have one, get one. The Exactmat is the "only" mouse pad you should be using. I got so tired of the neoprene type pads, 1. they get dirty, 2. they come apart, 3. lots of mouse drag 4. they are too small. Once you own the ExactMat you will wonder why you ever used anything else and why it took you so long to put down the extra few bucks it takes to get one. Even though the ExactMat is more than two times more expensive than the "neoprene" type pads, it is by far the best bang for you buck in mouse pads. I am a CAD engineer with lots and lots of mouse time, I demand as close to effortless mouse sailing as I can get and the ExactMat is a joy to use. Am I over the edge, maybe, (don't tell anyone but I also sprayed both the ExactMat and the bottom of my mouse with silicone spray and then wipe it off for almost frictionless clicking). Bottom line: this is a great product and I can't imagine any user that would not benefit from using one.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice but flawed
Although this product seems great, with the large size, substantial weight, and dual coatings it has one major flaw.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent mousepad!
This mousepad is super-sensitive and much more accurate for any task where precision is important. The speed side works great for games or general use and the control side is great for when the small details count such as using graphics or drawing programs. The mat is aluminum so it doesn't warp or get "bumpy" like some of the rubber ones do.It's also easy to clean.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Gamepad, 10 years running!
This gamepad is amazing.I got it for my birthday when I was 10 or 11, and I loved it then.I am now 20 years old, and I still use it a few times a week to play emulated games on my PC.Just plug and XP detects it in a flash.I bought one on eBay for my girlfriend and we chain them up, you can have multiple gampads into one port, just by plugging them in together.
5-0 out of 5 stars Simply the best for comfort
Simplicity is key for some controllers, and the sidewinder is something I've kept with me for almost a decade now.Reliable (as 9+ years of use can attest to) and amazingly lightweight and comfortable, there has never been a reason for me to do away with this controller.I am amazed that for everything I've upgraded and improved over my gaming life, this controller nevert loses its luster. If you want the best feeling contoller available, find this wherever you can.

1-0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE D-pad
This gamepad has one of the worst D-pads I have ever used. Not only does the pseudo-analog functionality make it difficult to use in games that expect digital controls, the design of the stick is such that the pad gets stuck in the housing if you push it too far.Don't bother.

1-0 out of 5 stars This is garbage.
A friend gave me this pad before considering throwing it in the trash. After two days of having it, >I< threw it in the trash. The D-pad has got to be the worst thing about it, its a D-pad that wants to be an analog stick. So its never fast enough on oldskool games because of all its "give." It has the right ammount of buttons (Start, Select, L & R) but that D-pad is soooo hoakie. I'd rather have an old Turbo Touch 360's flat touch panel from my Nintendo days. Atleast those actually worked. If you want console quality but on your PC, don't bother with flimsy copycat PC gamepads because they ALL suck. Get a Lik-Sang adapter and you can use PS1&2 pads on your PC! Download Joy2Key and you'll have awesome Keyboard and Mouse mapping software just like any Saitek or Logitech pad.

1-0 out of 5 stars Calling this a "controller" is a dirty lie
This is by far the WORST controller I have ever used. The calibration is terrible, and the little "Precision" button is a joke. While playing Final Fantasy VII (with an emulator), my characters have attacked each other just because of the controller's sporadic nature. The up directional button doesn't work at all--my characters just end up going down instead--and the cursor goes crazy without even touching it. Please do not waste your hard-earned money on this device. You will be terribly disappointed. Today I went out and bought a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad for the same price at Best Buy. We'll see how that goes. ... Read more

Featuring a vibrating, "Rumble Feedback", which reacts with on-screen hits, turns and impacts, the Eliminator AfterShock also provides two independent analog controls for precise movements within the games themselves. It boasts an ergonomic format for extra-easy reach of all buttons and flippers, including a digital 8-way directional pad. The AfterShock provides easy, plug-and-play USB installation, so you can spend time blowing up stuff and not going through software wizards. For PC users, system requirements include a PC , Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP, USB support, Direct-X 8.0 or higher, and a hard drive with 15MB available, and Xperience software. Mac users will need a Macintosh computer running OS X or higher, and Xperience software. The manufacturer notes that "A force feedback device will operate as a non-force feedback device." 1-0 out of 5 stars Zero stars actually
Where to start. The biggest complaint I have with this gamepad is that whenusing the D-Pad and trying to go left, it wants to go diagonal-left.This is a known issue with this gamepad (one that Gravis doesn't seem to care about) and is a big problem if you're playing a game that requires any sort of precision (like most of them).Nothing like going in a direction you didn't want to go or walking off a cliff.
1-0 out of 5 stars 'F' for performance quality & durability
It doesn't matter how ergonomically sweet this gamepad is.
2-0 out of 5 stars Response delays. Needs proprietary software to work ok.
For $8.90 I thought it was a good deal.It was ok at first but playing SNES emulator games there was a bad delay especially for the main 'b' button that is used to jump or flip which was very irritating. It works, but if you want to best game play with no frustrations, I recommended the Logitech Precision gamepad which is like $9 and no configuration is needed.

3-0 out of 5 stars Serious range problems - But over all good feel
This Controller is better than many on the market today. Pretty much only rivaled by Logitech. The FPS mode and programable feature are pretty cool and the controller has a decent over all feel. The buttons and digital pad are slighty chintzy but the analogs have a nice feel to them.
4-0 out of 5 stars It's all in the drivers.

4-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for pinball
Though the dual triggers of the Logitech WingMan aren't in the historically correct place for a pinball machine, they're a much better and more responsive alternative to using the SHIFT keys as flipperbuttons.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Ugly, its limited, and its JUNK!
The run of the mill SNES pad knock-offs' Gravis makes are better than this garbage. Where's Start and Select? And those shoulder buttons? HA! They're only turbo's for B and A. This is crap, might as well be made by Interact. If you want REAL console ruggedness for your PC, get a Lik-Sang adapter and dig any standard or aftermarket PS1/PS2 pad out of your closet. Download Joy2Key (its free) and you'll have the same Keyboard/Mouse mapping abilities as any Saitek or Logitech PC controller with the familiarity and "built to last-ness" of the Playstation pad.

1-0 out of 5 stars Useless
I picked up this gamepad because of the low price, and let me tell you: it's not worth the money no matter how cheap you can get it.What good is a gamepad if you can't make a player in EA Sports's FIFA 2003 run in a straight line?My soccer players looks like theysmoked up, shot some drugs, and then blindfolded themselves before taking the field. It's actually rather amusing, but for all the wrong reasons.1-0 out of 5 stars junk
I just wanted a nice cheap gamepad to play emulator games with.I don't need the rumbling, the analog controls; just something simple. This device is terrible. The two buttons on the top are just rapid fire buttons for two of the colored ones. The directional pad is completly out of wack; it takes all kinds of Zen meditation to guide a character in a straight line.Save your money.Do not buy this.I was like you once. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars one of a kind
ive went through 4 or 5 of these. why? because there has yet to be a bettter analog dpad. the only problem with this gamepad is the way its made internally. the switches on the dpad wear out too fast..the soft rubber pads inside get beat up by the hard plastic dpad...ive taken many apart. but its awesome while its working, if you like to control your car with a dpad like me.
1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this thing!!!
It SUCKS!!! This controller doesn't work with Windows XP. Buy it at your own risk!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Ehhhhh...well it's only 10 bucks.
First off, if you have Windows XP, the software that comes with the controller won't work, so you can't really use the shift button the way it's meant to be used.It works fine other than that, but my only major problem with it is for some reason my laptop often doesn't recognize it's plugged in.It's pretty annoying, but still usable.I got it just because I wanted the cheapest functioning gamepad I could find, and I wouldn't recomment it for any purpose other than that. ... Editorial Review

It might look funny, but the competition will stop laughing when they see your scores. Microsoft's Sidewinder DualStrike game controller is asymmetrical and somewhat awkward to use at first, but once you get the hang of it (it won't take long for seasoned game players), you'll never go back to joysticks.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awkward but worth it
This pad is very awkward to get used to but I loved it. I played Half-Life with it and was amazed at the fluid ease that it gave me. Recommended for thos who are tired of sitting at the keyboard.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great controller, wish it was made better though.
I found my Siderwinder:Dual Strike at a local Biglots for $10. It was and still is the best damn controller I've ever had. Though I do have a gripe about the hatswitch. I not only used my DS to play driving games like Need For Speed and Knight Rider, but I also used it for my SNES and Game Boy Advance emulation. I configured the hat to be my D-pad, this worked for a while and I was happy until the switch broke off.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best gamepad EVER!
This gamepad is the best I've ever seen/payed with.Read more
