Good idea - poor design
This is a cool little gadget, but I found it difficult to use. All of the operational buttons are on the back of the unit and are in an awkward circular layout. You have to turn the unit over to find the correct button, then back again to see the display. Even if you memorize the layout of the buttons, they are flat, and have no tactile feedback. You find yourself hitting 2 buttons at once quite often. And if you're trying to set the timer in the dark, forget it. The backlit display is nice, but it only stays on for 3 seconds at a time. Not nearly long enough. I`m surprised that this is the second version of this unit, and is still so awkward to use. It's obvious that whoever designed this thing doesn't use one. ... Read more

Poor Voice Recording Quality
I bought this primarily to record my thoughts while I was out and about and am very disappointed with the voice recording quality.It is hollow and sounds like I have a lisp.
Good Price, Nice Size Limited Formats
The price and size are great but it only plays Mp3s.If you use Napster or WMAs this unit will not play your files.

You're lucky if you get to work over two months
Mine worked for only 1 month.How about that for a record!Better buy a flash-memoray based MP3 Player with recorder function.

Not reliable
I bought this product and was working fine only for 2 months. The display went off suddenly and I need to send to repair since the manufacturer wont replace the product. The repaired piece was working fine again only for 1 month and again the display panel went blank. I tried all tactics but in vain.
