    Editorial Review

The Linksys Wireless-G broadband router is really three devices in one box. First, it's a wireless access point, which lets you connect Wireless-G or Wireless-B devices to the network. There's also a built-in four-port full-duplex 10/100 switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices. Connect four PCs directly, or daisy-chain out to more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Finally, the router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. Read more

    Features

    • All-in-one Internet-sharing router, 4-port switch, and Wireless-G (802.11g) access point
    • Wireless data rates up to 54 Mbps--5 times faster than 802.11b
    • Shares a single Internet connection and other resources with Ethernet wired and Wireless-G clients
    • Interoperates with 802.11b clients at 11 Mbps
    • Advanced wireless security with 128-bit WEP encryption, MAC, or IP address filtering

4-0 out of 5 stars Tell users to get firmware update first
2 hours on the phone with support to figure out you have to update firmware. How about a sticker on the box, or a sheet inside that says "Hey we're too stupid to update the firmware before we box these puppies up and ship them."
1-0 out of 5 stars Many Problems
I was drawn to the Linksys name given their reputation of quality. But, this model is terrible.I updated the firmware to the latest available with no luck.It randomly disconnects from the internet for all connections both wired and wireless. It also randomly freezes with no access to the internet or to the unit itself.I tried two identical units in the event the first one was defective. But, no.Both behaved the same way.I'm returning the second one as well for a refund and will buy a D-Link locally. My wired router is a D-Link and I've never had any problems at all.

1-0 out of 5 stars i've had 2. both were JUNK
i've had two WRT54Gs and both crapped out on me. The first one worked for a little over a year, and suddenly stopped broadcasting a wireless signal. the second i've had for (literally) 2 months and it pulled the same stunt. tried the normal trouble shooting methods of firmware upgrades and turning off wireless security to no avail. i know it's not my laptop, because it's picking up (and USING!) about a half dozen signals that are near by. i'm outside my return policy, and linksys has a no refund policy -- exchange only.

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible Tech Support; Bad Software
Upon installing the software, a "Runtime Error" occurred with XP that will not allow the QuickCam 10.0 software to run. When I called "Tech Support," I kept getting an out-sourced answering machine. Neither would they reply by email. I would Strongly urge anyone Against purchasing from Logitech until they get their act together.

3-0 out of 5 stars Another average webcam
I'm somewhat new to web cams, but so far I am not very impressed. My last web cam cost a whopping $10 new on ebay. I use a web cam for live conversations only so take my review as you will, but after trying a few web cams I think the technology isn't quite there just yet. So far I've tried the Logitech Communicate STX and the Microsoft $110 3 megapixel webcam (sorry, forgot the model). It's quickly apparant that no matter the quality of the camera the image quality is almost identical from the cheapest to the most expensive of cameras.
4-0 out of 5 stars Very good

2-0 out of 5 stars Poor quality. Really poor quality. Overal ok for the price
I have seen the reviews on Amazon and it is the first time I ignore them. I said to myself - how bad can it be considering the fact that is a Logitech product. The first time I have touch the headset, I try to adjust it and I broke one side, the cable from the left speaker went out, the volume control doesn't work at the high setings, the ergonomics are realy bad,the cable is cheap. It is painful to keep them on your head. The good part it is that it looks ok, it sounds ok, the microphone is ok and after some time you no longer feel the pain. For the price they are ok as functionality, but realy realy bad in ergonomics and quality.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this.
I bought this about 1 week ago and coulden't wait to rip it out from the box. I wanted to use this headset for games like World Of Warcraft and Skype, and when I plugged it into my Power Mac G4 Running 10.3.9, it appeared on the system preferences and started working very well. The sound quality was amazing, I thought it was very comfortable, and the headphones were awesome. I thought this product was great, so far.
2-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have
If you have a Motorola Bluetooth headset than you will want to have this carrying case as well. It is very light, durable and very well priced. After all, the headset is quite delicate and I can't imagine carrying it around without reliable protection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Little Case
This is a great little case to protect my earpiece. The H500 fits in perfectly and the case is sturdy with a relatively hard shell to protect it.Good item to pick up if you buy the H500 as a case does not come with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
For those of us who bought the Bluetooth Headset before the prices came down, I can certainly say that this is a great way to protect your headset.Even if you don't carry it on your belt, using this carrying case to protect it when you just throw it in your handbag is definitely protecting your investment.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's as easy as plug and play
We currently have the Linksys BEFSR41 4-port router/switch for our home network. It's been working great for about 4 years now, but we've now run out of ports.I did some research on the 8 port router/switch product from Linksys, but the reviews were mixed. The reviews were mixed for similar competing products also.So I took the route of getting the EZXS55W to expand our existing home network.I just plugged it into the network and it just worked out of the box.No configuration needed. It's also very tiny.I highly recommend the product.

5-0 out of 5 stars WORKS WELL WITH MAC'S APPLE-TALK (for me)
Linksys tech support assured me that their were no limitations to this gizmos ability to route ethernet signals. Sure enough, I plugged it in and it's functioning exactly as I hoped. Our internet comes from a cable modem. From that I ran the cat-5 ethernet cable to the Airport Extreem which acts as a wireless router and it also has 1 out port for ethernet, which I connected the EZXS55W switch to. Off the switch I am running a printer (Laserwriter Pro 630) and a desk top G-4. I also have 3 wireless computers on the network and all are running OS-X. All can access the internet, I can print from any computer and fileshare between the whole lot. I couldn't ask for more!

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for 2+ years under heavy use.
I have nothing to report, that is, the device has performed flawlessly in the 2+ years I have owned it.I subjected this thing to almost every scenario except Mac.Read on...

5-0 out of 5 stars Does what its suppose to do
Yes its a dust magnet but I don't have to worry about dropping or scratching it when putting it down. I've been using these rubber skins since the 3rd gen Ipod. It doesnt add that much width to the player and it doesnt get in the way when going for the buttons (anymore than the rotary dial does). it fits nice and tight just add a piece of screen protector film and your set.
2-0 out of 5 stars It helps, but it isn't the best
Will it help if the player falls to the ground?
1-0 out of 5 stars Everything sticks to it
I bought this case because it was cheap but I haven't used it because dirt and cat hair just CLING to this case. The case doesn't even have a clip so it's pretty much useless.Yes it will protect your player, sort of but it bulks it up when you have to carry it in your pocket.I bought the DLO Action Jacket for the Sansa SanDisk e200 series which protects the screen and has a clip and armband. What's cuter than having two mini-sized boom-boom speakers on your desk? Not only do they look great, but the sound is outstanding!I was really impressed with my old JBL speakers, but after listening to these I was blown away! It sounds just like a huge stereo system!I just got them so I can't review the life expectancy, but I promise you will love them.Especially since they're so cheap!

These speakers are great for laptop users or a regular computer.... the subwoofer is ammaazziinnggg if u want ur room to shake...it has a adjuster on the back so u could put it down if you want to... these speakers are excellent for their price.. quality is near perfect and it doesn't require software like other speakers..just plug it in the headphone plug in the back of ur laptop or computer and ur set...for 30 bucks this is a great find

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic speaker set at a great price!
I've been shopping for computer speakers for a while and the selection in the stores was underwhelming and the prices were ridiculous. I've had great luck with my Logitech mikes and headphones for my desktop and laptop, so I thought I'd check out Logitech speakers. I read the reviews on here before I bought and figured almost 130 people couldn't be wrong, and the price was certainly right.

In the interest of full disclosure, this is my first webcam.Given that, I was mildly disappointed that the framerate was not the 30fps advertised (smooth motion, like watching TV or a video camcorder), but closer to 20fps (my system is better than the "recommended" system on the box).Acceptable, but not spectacular, especially at the price.

I bought this unit to back up files from my wife's MAC and my own PC. So far so good. I don't bother with the software that comes with it, it's OK but not great. Works well enough just to drag and drop files here and there.
5-0 out of 5 stars Saved My Backside
This will be short and simple. The Retrospect product bundled with the Drive saved my over 70G of priceless data and applications. When it was apparent that my existing drive was failing I purchased a new 250G internal drive (Western Digital) and asked the local well-regarded computer store to ghost the drive to the new one. Couldn't do it. Fortunately, I had used Retrospect to back up my stuff and the store tech was able to restore everything, all the data, programs and settings with Restrospect on the new drive. Buy this product! Use Retrospect. It might save your priceless music, pictures, financial data, etc. Happy day!

4-0 out of 5 stars Easy to use
This drive does what it says it will do. It's easy to set up, and it's easy to configure. It's relatively fast, and it is quiet as well. The only complaint I have so far is that yes, the power supply does come out VERY easily. I brushed up against the cord, and it came unplugged from the drive. What I'm doing to combat this is putting the drive in a zero traffic area, and making sure the cord is out of sight. However, if you plan to move this drive at all, this might be too annoying for you. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Unrealiable; Don't trust with important files.
I had this drive for a few months and one day it decides to stop working.Windows recoginizes it, but when I try to open it, Windows tells me to insert a disk in the drive. It appears the flash drive is dead with tons of imformation on it.Luckily I had the insight to back up the most important file earlier today, so all is not lost, but I don't even remember the other files I had on there.I have an earlier backup and hopefully I can recover most of my files.
5-0 out of 5 stars Washable
This is a nice flash drive. It comes with security software already on it. The best part is that I accidently left it in my pocket and it went through Washer and Dryer. It survived and it still functions.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great! but...
Awsome, reliable, one gig is plenty for most fields (not mine, grapics and animation D:)

5-0 out of 5 stars Does it all well. With document feeder!
Very happy with mine. Tried other brand, but it was terrible. This HP is great so far (few months of use). What is really nice is the document feeder....when you fax multiple sheets, you can do it in one quick call.
4-0 out of 5 stars Very good all-in-one for average home user!
I bought this printer for use at home. We are average (and environmentally friendly) users who print just a few pages per day and several photographs a month (4x6 and 8x10) since we have a toddler. This machine is used mostly for scanning and printing; and occasionally for fax.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not Good with a MAC
I thought the actual print quality was very good, but that's not why I bought this unit.I need to be able to scan directly to my word processing program and this machine cannot do that.Despite what it says on the box about OCR capabilities, and ability to work with Mac OS X, it NO LONGER includes the OCR software with the machine. There is a READIRIS software registration form included in the packaging, but according to the HP Tech line they don't offer it any longer. The software would cost an additional $129 online, or $129 plus tax/shipping etc.I returned the machine. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Incredible value
Just hooked up the Logitech to my new iMac. Have to tell you, kids, it wasn't long ago that a speaker system with this kind of quality would have another zero in the price. This system is that good. Listening to Ray Charles sing "Oh What a Beautiful Morning." He's right.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good but not Great
I received the speakers earlier today. I'm listening to them now. The bad news is that the cymbals don't sizzle. I read the other reviews about missing mid range. The mid range is there. Just not much presence on the high end. No bells. You won't hear any frets on the strings. On the other hand... these speakers could fill a stadium with music. The bass is effortless... and loud. You will spend more time turning down the volume than turning it up.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT SOUND FOR A DORM ROOM!!!
I bought these speakers a couple weeks ago to put in my dorm room. They are great!!! The balance is good and the bass can be heard down the hall. Like some other reviews I was skeptical about buying these speakers due to bad reviews about bass and mid range. But I'm glad I did! Definitely worth the money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for PowerPoint, but not for Corel
I do a great deal of public speaking, but usually use Corel Presentations instead of PowerPoint (for numerous reasons which I won't describe here!).I have an older and cheaper Targus remote device which has a very simple array of functions, and it works well with both programs. The features and range of the Logitech convinced me to give it a try, hoping it would work with Corel--but it doesn't (and converting from a Corel file to PPT tends to botch the bullet animations). The plus is that it works flawlessly with PowerPoint.Bottom line: for those faithful few who use Corel, this is not the device for you--unless another reviewer out there can tell me how to get this to work!

5-0 out of 5 stars It DO have "Resume" function on button "F5/Esc"
Just bought this wonderful "toy" and played around for few minutes. Unlike other reviewers' complains, I found two things need to point out:
5-0 out of 5 stars The best one by far...
I've owned 3 other remote clickers, and this one is the best by far.For starters, it uses AAA batteries which are easy to procure and replace, whereas other models use those little quarter-size batteries that require a special trip to Radio Shack to buy.Plus, AAA's hold more juice to begin with, AND this clicker has an on/off switch, whereas others turn off on their own after time without use, meaning after they drain the battery! The transmitter on this clicker has plenty of power to reach the back of the computer/USB receiver stub from long distances, whereas others require the presenter to be close to the computer because they transmit a weak signal. The form factor of this one is perfect in your hand and the buttons are easily used, even by people unfamilar with it -- it's very intuitive. It has a very useful timer/clock that allows me to watch how much time I have left to finish my presentation -- it will also vibrate in my hand with 5 minutes to go, 2 minutes to go, and when my time is up.It allows me to add more time on the fly. This remote clicker is absolutely perfect in every way, and I can't tell you how many colleagues have purchased one after they tried mine.Don't waste your money on anything else -- they really got it right in all the human factors/UI aspects and all the engineering aspects when they made this. ... Esactly what I was wanting. When you turn there is resistance (springs I think) and everything works great. If you use flight sims you need this product.Works awsome.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very cool - super real
I have been a private pilot for more than 20 years. This is a good way to fly whenever you can't.Very cool, super realistic.

2-0 out of 5 stars Plastic, binding, not at all worth the money
What can I say?The plastic sticks in the assembly, making it really hard to control.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good webcam...with severe support issues
The webcam works as advertised - with really crappy lighting, it still managed to show my face comfortably, and worked well with various messaging software. The bad - on my Windows XP machine, with not much software installed and generally well-maintained, the software failed to install the drivers properly. Twice. I called the tech support (paying long distance charges), and after 20 minutes of waiting, got through. It took twenty more minutes for the support rep to get all my information - 20, I kid you not. And after that, she did not even bother to try out anything on my computer. Her advice straightaway - try to install it in another machine, if it does not work, call us back so that we can authorize a replacement. How could you not even try do get it to work on my current machine after spending so much time to get all the information out of me, I asked? Sorry, that's the policy. And I have to call you back on long-distance, and then wait forever to the muzak and then hope that you might authorize a replacement, I asked. Yes, she replied curtly and hung up. I had wasted too much time to try to just give up right then, so I tried a manual install of the drivers. Luck decided to favor me, and after indicating XP to look for the drivers in C:\Program Files\Logitech\QuickCam10WebInstall, I was at last home. After the installation, it has worked like a charm, but you just have to pray that you never ever have to contact Logitech for their "support".

4-0 out of 5 stars Great price - quality balance
I did not want to spend too much money on my first webcam as technology improves continuously and my needs/interests change rapidly.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best I have owned
I have owned three other web cams. This is the best. It works first time, everytime.I call it "my little angel." I am ordering another for my daughter who lives 1000 miles away, So I can see her. Her webcam just doesn't hold a candle to this one. ... Read more
