I'll be moving my stereo to the basement
In the spirit of full disclosure, I have to confess that I'm not an audiophile. I'm a music fan, and I'm definitely not the type to be more into his stereo than the music he plays on it.
Happily surprised
I recently purchased the Apple Hi-Fi Stereo inorder to have high quality sound for vacations, outdoor picnics and special events.We ended up using this system as the sole house music system for our children during a move. The quality of sound, the volume available and the ease of use were amazing and well beyond what I expected in this "portable" system.I would highly recommend it. On my wish list, I would like to see a black version and a padded travel case for protection and ease of traveling.

One of the Best
I have been looking at buying a center channel speaker for my set up and I have found it. It is very clear but not to bright. It reproduces voices really good. I compaired it to the Kilipse that are also in this range and polk cs 2. Thi sone sounded the best to me. I was able to get mine for $120 so shop around. But do go to a store and bring a cd that you like and listen to it with your other speaks if they have them and you will see what i mean. ... Read more

Solid purchase
I've had a pair of JBL's w/ 10" drivers for almost 10 years now and finally decided to add surround sound to the package.I picked up this center channel along with a pair of bookshelf speakers for my rear channels.The center channel has very clear sound - excellent voice quality.For a lot of music, I keep it in surround for the crispness it provides.A bit on the large side, but definitely a solid purchase.

This is a great speaker for the price you get them on amazon.com.I have these paired with E30 sats, E 250P sub, E N24WII for surround and a Yamaha RX-V767 AV receiver/amp.

Music to my ears
I bought these from FRYS hence paid a bit more - but beleive me its worth every cent and now at less than $250, its a steal. I have paired the Infinity speaker system with the ONKYO TX-SR603X receiver and together they produce incredible sound. And is great for CDs too, i use the "unplugged" setting on the receiver to get clear, crisp sound for music. Get this pair and treat your ears to sound!

Great Bass, Great Package
I paired the TSS 450 with the new Harman/Kardon AVR230 (Which I highly reccommend, even though Amazon is not offering it yet).They provide great (and plentiful) wiring, which is atypical of $400 speakers.They come with adjustable mounting brackets, another plus that most other systems dont have.They are tiny surrounds (think soup can, though wider) and sound very crisp.I've only had them a little while, but they sound perfect listening to Lords of the Rings or playing PS2! I like these speakers
I was going to buy the EC35...but decided I wanted a slightly smaller speaker cabinet as I wanted the flexibility to be able to place the EC25 into my entertainment center cabinet behind speaker grills.This turns out to be able to with a width of slightly less than 18".This compared to the EC35 which is almost 22"...which wouldn't work.
Great center Speaker!!
I got this to replace my Center Onkyo which was really bad, could barley handle the load. So it was between the EC25 and the EC35. Well after much debate i went with EC25 because it was 75 shipped compared to 150 shipped. Well it didn't matter got it and it sounds GREAT with everything Music, Gaming and radio. I am really happy with this speakers it smokes my last Sony, and Onkyo. Mid and Highs are clear and crip no distortion even if i crank it up to max on reciver last Onkyo, or Sony couldn't do that. I highley suggest this speaker!

I already had a pair of Hi-Fi speakers with excellent bass response for the front left and right as well as a pro-logic receiver.I had just not bothered to add the center and rear left and right speakers before.These Sony speakers have added a whole new world of listening/viewing pleasure to DVD's and even to CD's.They are very sturdily made a good materials and most importantly provide excellent response across the complete range of frequencies.The center speaker if fairly large and needs a secure position on top of a TV or cabinet. Decent Center Channel
This little center channel is great.I bought a bundled Pioneer system that came with a very small center channel.I have been shopping around for a cost-effective center channel, but most of the ones I saw were either too expensive or too big.This one is just the right size and provides a bigger/deeper sound than my small pioneer.If you're looking for a louder/deeper center channel, but don't want to fork over the money for a premium center channel, this is a good deal for that purpose.I give it 4 stars b/c while I was happy with the upgrade in sound quality, it didn't have the "wow" factor for me to give it the extra 5th star. ... Good value for money
The performance of these Advent speakers is yet to be adjudged since I dont have any 6.1 DVDs that can give me an idea of how these speakers sound. However when listening to FM radio I find the sound to be pretty good. As an Amazon.com customer for over 6 years I have always found their service to be excellent.

Outstanding center speaker!
I purchased this speaker not completely knowing what to expect. There seems to be a general lack of information available. Advent used to be known for outstanding quality speakers but after changing hands several times it was impossible to know if this was still the case. At the budget speaker price point that this was offered at, you would not expect something as good as this. While I am not an audiophile, as a professional musician and movie lover I do try to look at speakers seriously.

I bought this speaker to help out my surround sound ystem.Every where else online, center speakers of similar ratings sold for twice as much. Needless to say I was happy to find this one. Although a little bigger than I would like, I'm very happy with the sound, design, and over all appearance. My system won't drive it to the limit, so I don't know how well it handles alot of watts, that would be the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.

Clean, clear, and good price
This is my first foray (actually it was a gift) into Polk Audio merchandise. I am pleased with the crisp, clear, and detailed high frequency sound it emits. It has considerable resolution and articulation that helps deliever lifelike representations of vocals and instruments. There is virtually no distortion, and it sits above my T.V., which sometimes speakers and T.V.s will play interference with each other, but not this monitor. Great speakers!!!
I recently purchased these speakers from a local walmart for about $20.00 and I am impressed with the quality of sound that these produce. Altec lansing has always been my brand of choice and has served me well. I play games, watch movies, and listen to music with these speakers and the sound is excellent. they can be very loud and at the higher of volumes, does start shaking things. I tried.i would absolutely recommend these to anyone who wants quality sound.

I really enjoy listening to these speakers.They have a well balanced sound.I can connect them right to my ipod or laptop.They sound great with any kind of music, games, or movies.I love the fact that they have volume, bass and tone controls all on the front of the base box.Can't beat the price either!I would recommend these speakers to anyone that likes high quality sound but can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive speaker system that probably won't sound any better.

First off, they have diffrent name then on my box- mine are Bx3. Everything looks the same though. These speakers CRANK! Crystal clear on all notes, ballsy base for audio and games. UT2004 is a blast to play now, Doom3 + reserection becomes more intense with these speakers. All around, beats the hell outas my creative labs set.
