awful sound
the sound (or lack of it - couldn't hear very well) was terrible.People I was talking to thought I was calling from an echo chamber.I took it to a friend's house to be sure it wasn't my phone or my telephone line but it was still very poorquality.Returned within days.

Poor Performance = BIG Disapointment
I was excited about this new product but my excitement was quickly dashed when I began using the product.It promised better performance than any corded or cordless phone but it did not deliver on either promise.Noticable static was constant regardless of how close I was to the receiver.People I was talking to also noticed the difference as they all thought the poor quality was the fault of their own phone, which I knew it was not because all problems disapeared once I switched to my regular home cordless phone.To make sure I did not get a bad phone, I went to the local electronics store and purchased another B100 BlueParrott headset identical to my first one, and it performed exactly the same.Both BlueParrott phone headsets were returned to the retailers and I returned to my earpiece and mini mic for those long phonecalls the make you ears bleed.

Good initially - things went wrong after a few months.
Given my previous experience with cellular Bluetooth headsets without significant microphone booms, I was very excited to see this headset available - especially because of it's integration with an office phone. The phone did not disappoint initially - as it seemed to perform well with my cell phone, and the base connected to my office phone. I did however notice that the volume on the cell phone was much louder (and clearer) than with the base connected to my office phone (this I was willing to deal with).

High quality earphone, microphone is anemic
Sounds come through great on this headset, but on both of two phones I tried the microphone's output volume was very weak (people would ALWAYS ask you to speak up, even with the microphone right in front of your lips).Perhaps I got a bad unit, but this ones going back to the store.I wish it had worked out!

Poor Product from Sony
This headset that I purchased broke within a week, and before it completely stopped working, people on the other line were complaining of an echo in the headset. The tube mic is not that great either. It is very flexible like they say, but it doesnt look right when people wear it. However, on a positive note the earpiece is very comfortable and has a clear sound.

this "booster" was originally sold under the claim that "it's like adding a three foot antenna to your cell phone." well way back then... 5 years ago, cell antennas weren't that great to begin with and this little "sticker" did add a bit more reception to the cell phones of yore. nowadays cell antenna techonology has made antennas smaller and better... but not perfect. adding this "booster" to a relatively new phone won't add three bars to your reception... it probably won't even add one bar, but it does clear up your calls in areas where you have service. this thing isn't going to bend cell towers towards you to increase your calling area, it just holds the signal better in places where you can get service. if you live miles from a tower's sphere of influence this thing won't get you reception at your home, but it will make for a better conversation when you only have one bar.
Forget it!
Tried it on a Verizon Kyocera KX414.No improvement.Paid $10 in the mall.

the other reviewer couldn't run much power through his splitter, but thought it might be ok for cell phone chargers, etc.

There's nothing "universal" about this product.It'll split lightweight stuff like cell phones, but don't trust anything more demanding than that with this splitter.I hooked my laptop up through it and the fuse blew within one second.Sadly, I'd bought four of these since shipping cost as much as the item itself, and ALL FOUR died when I tried them with my laptop.The back of the package says not to use items that use over a total of 10amps, which seemed reasonable, so I got out my ammeter and figured out that my laptop used 6amps at most, so not only is this busted, but they lie on the package.I managed to open up the splitter and put in some more heavy duty wiring and a stronger fuse, and then it worked for a short time until I started smelling plastic melting -- it turns out even one of the springs inside couldn't handle 6amps and heated up enough to disfigure and melt plastic around it.I give this item two stars only because you might want to plug in two cell phones simultaneously.For anything else, beware! ... Satisfied Second Choice
I was searching for a headset that was over the head and at a reasonable price. I couldn't find that so I settled for this one. I must say I am not disappointed with my purchase. The sound quality is good and it fits comfortably over my ear.

A Really Awful Design
I continue my search for a good hands-free telephone headset...This isn't it! I bought it along with two others (neither of which was good either) and immediately noted the problem with it. The ear piece is WAY WAY WAY too large for anyone with even a medum sized ear. It is the largest in-ear earpiece I've ever seen on a headset. It is either made for men (and it probably wont' fit some of them either) or people with really large ears. The sound quality is acceptable, but it's hard to tell how well it works because I can barely stuff it into my ear. It's pictured with adapters, but when they ship it, there are NO ADAPTERS...then the replacements come, and STILL NO ADAPTERS...
