Finally, a 700 Mb CD-RW that works!
No problems in writing/reading/re-writing/re-reading 80 min audio CD-RWs, 700 Mb data or 700Mb mp3 discs. There are many good 650 Mb CD-RW, but that is currently not the case for 700 Mb CD-RW. I've tried other brands and have had problems (and lots of wasted time). These work everytime with my burners (which are different makes). Go for the Japanese produced blank-media. India-Tiawan AVOID
Every brand of blank media is made by different companies, other than the one who's name is on it. When you look near the bar-code of any cd-r or dvd+r, they are always made in these 3 or 4 different places: Taiwan, India, Mexico and Japan. From my experience, the ones that work best are made in JAPAN.
The Most Dependable Product For Music
I have a Sony CD recorder and the thing is finicky. I tried Sony and Memorex brands and both ended up as expensive, colorful coasters.I never had a problem with Maxell, the reproduced sound is excellent and each and every disc finalizes with no problem.Playback on other machines is never an issue. I won't use anything else and I buy my blanks at Sam's Club, 50 discs including the slim jewel cases for $18.00.

maxell = mediocre
I would like to say that with this pack so far I have not experienced any problems, but I have previously experienced problems with maxell products on their older CD-Rs. Maxell isn't the greatest brand, but they do their job and serve their purpose. personally, I wouldn't buy maxell for an important job, for fear that it might screw up on me or not burn correctly. for a simple job for a friend (such as copying a cd or copying a file to a disc), look no further. these are great for semi-permanent files. for more trustworthy stuff, look elsewhere though. TDK, Memorex, Fuji, and Imation are good brands for burning media. ... Read more

Label Anything!
When you own your own business for 30 years you learn how to do many things out of necessity.One of those things is placing labels on files, drawers, and much else so you don't have to search for two hours for one item.There are only two label companies I will use---and I own the largest Dymo Label machine and the largest Brother P-Touch machine.Why two?Simple.Dymo makes the only labels which have "Black type on a Gold foil background".They also have "Black type on a Silver foil background" . No other label maker offers this.That's why I purchased the item.The label-maker itself works by battery or with a battery eliminator (avail separate or included in some configurations).The only reason this gets 4 and not 5 stars?Because the printout machine does not automatically "cut" the label after it is printed.On the Brother Model (P-Touch) it is fully automated.(note: Brother does NOT have the Gold or Silver Foil background labels---but everything else they have, in fact may swing you). Lastly,both Dymo and Brother have auto shut-offs if you leave the units with the battery power on.I've not changed any battery in either product for nearly a year and I use both nearlyevery business day for one or two labels.

I thought these were of good quality
I have to confess the whole concept of burning cds is new to me. I recently got a new computer and I have been burning cds left to right. The first batch of blank cds I bought were the Imation Corp CDRWUltra Speed 74 Min. From my personal experience, I have not had any problems with this brand of rewritable cds. All the cds that I had burned (which is like over a dozen now) have ended up sounding good. Some of the cds that I have made I listen to over and over again. No matter how often I listen to the burned cds I made still sounds good.

BEWARE_-_- These cd-rw's are of low quality.
I purchased a 10 pak of these identical cd-rw's and about everyone of them are either corrupt or have errors and are no longer of any useI.E cyclic redundancy errors...Take my advice and stay away from this blank media..they are of poor quality ..didnt even last one month...spend the extra few dollars for the higher quality media...I promise you ...you dont want to use these cd-rw's to do ANY kind of backing -up of your pc or anything else...cuz if you do use these to back up your pc (like I did ) you might as well start re-formatting and installing Windows now.....BEWARE_-_-_- ...
