The HP calulator is a dinosaur - this is mortgage qualifying!
There's not too much to say about this calulator - it does the job well.However, There's really only 4 buttons you use consistantly - Loan Amt/Pmt/Term/Interest.And they do make a calculator that just has those four buttons (plus calculator keys).

This is a very useful and needed product for everyone involved in real estate or that is a REALTOR�.

MY MISTAKE
I wanted "Calculated Industries 3415-KITRE Qualifier Plus IIIx Real Estate Success Kit" but received only the calculator and am still not sure of the right one to reorder. I found at least one but it had something about "Mortgages" and I'm not into Mortgages just Real Estate. Poweful tool for the scene shop
Building scenery for the theater we are always under a time & acuracy crunch. The Construction master pro DT helps us to handle both foot and Inch manipulations and construction detailing. The rise & run & diagonal calculations are a timesaver when we are dealing with raked platforming or out of true flats. The compound miter key has already saved me hours of fussing on oddball scenic units. The ability to store risers heights in the stair calculations allows us to easily determine stair details by using our stock, but not building code compliant stairs. The calculators flexibility is one of its greatest assetts and one of its great drawbacksas well. I wish that there was a help system in the unit remind the user of how to use some of the more arcane controls. The included instruction book is great, but abook is not the fastest way when you need to use a function now that you last used months ago.

I love this calculator!
I already have one, for my briefcase, and just ordered another one for my desk.I searched for a long time to find a good quality little calculator with a snap-close cover and this one fit the bill perfectly.Not only does it work very well, but it is attractive and the buttons are a nice size.The LED screen is also nice and large.Two thumbs up for Casio on this one!

I was looking for a pocket calculator with a lid to keep out dirt and dust and protect the keys that also is capabable of withstanding some rough use.
Very Basic But Very Good
I have the Casio MS70-L; while this model has been discontinued or is no longer stocked, it is functionally almost identical to the Casio SL-200TE Solar DualLeaf, except the SL-200TE folds in half to close, and the MS70-L does not fold.For everyday household usage, this calculator is hard to beat.It has a large, easy-to-read LCD display, and a rugged plastic body.Read more

Use it Constantly
I bought this calculator last year for my husband for Father's Day.Needless to say, it is hardly out of arm's reach for him--he is constantly using it for all of his different projects.
Indispensable
I am an avid do-it-yourselfer and do a variety of projects around the house. I found this little gem in the local hardware store and had a great time playing with it, so I bought it. I, of course, had no intention of trusting it implicitly but that soon changed. I have owned this thing for 2.5 years now and have used it on several large projects. Now I rely upon it for all sorts of things. It makes it so easy to estimate exactly what I am going to need, with confidence, even when I am not entirely sure what it is that I am doing.

Good, but kind of dirty
I like this calculator very much, however I caught my son Jeremiah writing obscenities with it the other day. I thought it said 5318008, but when turned upside down, it said BOOBIES. It's kind of like when they put them satanical messages in the rock and roll music. Surely this is the work of the devil.

In the spring of 2000 I went to Peru to help a rural commumity build a school for the local children.Needless to say, they had almost nothing in the way of school supplies.I bought a number of these solar calculators to donate to the new school.I chose the TI1795SV because the large display and large buttons.The children and teachers did not need a complex calculator but more than just plus and minus; so this one fit the bill just right.Also, because this community is poor and has limited access to technology the solar cells of the calculator will keep it up and running even if the battery were to lose power.It was a little bulky to carry 20 of these to Peru but well worth the looks on their faces when I donated them.All-in-all a worthwhile investment! ... This is my favorite calculator
I work in an office environment and often have need for a calculator to work on reports and statistics.I have owned this model for a couple of years now and I think it is great.The display is large and easy to read and the buttons are big, but not too big.The buttons on my last calculator were very fussy - you had to push straight down on the button or it would not register the number.Canon got it perfect with this model, as the keys are sensitive enough that I never experience missed numbers as I am entering.

Not for the Serious Reader
I bought this because it sounded like such a great idea.
Worked for five minutes
This product worked for about five minutes but then failed. After 4 resets, it has remained stuck on the date. I'll be returning it.

Still going to look
I received this as a gift for Christmas and I have two main complaints.First, and more important, I would say 1/3 of the words I look up are not in this product.I have a decent vocabulary, but I'm no lexicographer, and it's frustrating not to find so many words.The second complaint is that the buttons are difficult to push and I wish the product would default to "dictionary mode" when I turn it on, rather than always have to push an extra button to get there.It is a dictionary after all--why would I buy this if I really wanted a calculator?It's a nice feature, but bury that somewhere else and make it easy for me to look up my word without having to push extra buttons (which are hard to push!)I'm sure there's something better out there...now I'm off to find it. ... nice n big
This calculator is very good. It is very durable (i have dropped it and kicked it still works great. It uses solar power but has a battery for backup inside which i have never has to replace. The button are nice and big along with the screen. Its easy to read and the screen has a small tilt which is great when using on a desk. I love this little calculator!

I have had this calculator since 1991. I use it alot and I have had it in my car since the day I bought it. I purchased several more to keep in my office and around the house. I especially like the big numbers for easy reading and the the big keys spaced far apart so you don't have many missed entries. An Excellent Basic Calculator
I bought this calculator to keep in my desk drawer for simple problems of the four basic mathematical functions. I also have a TI-30Xa scientific calculator in there, but it is much more cumbersome to use, particularly when using memory functions. This is an extremely basic calculator, has very large numbers for ease of reading, and is very inexpensive, making it perfect for general use around the house, like balancing the checkbook. It actually can take square roots and do percentage problems, so basic math students could rely on it for elementary math work.
