Mighty Mouse - I love you
The BlueTooth Mighty Mouse is a WONDERFUL improvement over the original Mighty Mouse and clearly, the best bluetooth mouse available ---- a direct comparison to other mouse's available -
Very nice with some caveats
First, it looks beautiful. Beautiful symmetry not just from left to right but also from top to bottom. It's beautifully curved, almost like a pebble smoothed to perfection by the action of the tides. Just a small protrusion for the 'scroll wheel' and subtle grey areas at the side that act as a fourth mouse button.
How DidI Live Without It?
This wireless mouse is awesome!I love the right click feature, scrolling and ability to use expose just by squeezing the edges.I do Windows for work through a Citrix client and some of the commands require right clicks.This mouse does it no problem--and you sacrifice none of the Apple aesthetics.It also works on the surface of my dining room table, which used to trip up other lesser laser mice, including apple's one button wireless mouse.

Perfection Anywhere
I just bought myself a laptop for college and knew that tiny touchpad would just not do it for me. So I checked out the reviews here and decided on this Logitech wireless mouse; I don't think any product I've ever bought has so exceeded my expectations. It really does work 10 meters away, but by that point, you can't even see the screen!!! During downtime between classes I can even impress my classmates with how perfect I can control Unreal Tournament or CounterStrike wirelessly... pretty cool. Plug and play, a perfect weight with the batteries, wonderful scrolling, and the usb is small, cool and most importantly, unobtrusive. Before I type anymore, I'll use it to press "Submit"!:)

Everything I was hoping for
I am very happy with this mouse and would recommend it to everyone.It looks good, but more importantly, it feels good.Button placement, weight, smoothness, everything was done well.Coming from wired mice, the lack of a wire is very freeing.I am also especially happy with how small the USB radio receiver is.I am using this mouse on a laptop and love how inobtrusive it is.
Excellent Mouse
Very light, and the battery lasts long. Easy to move, and works far away from the receiver. The only shortcoming is that some times the pointer on the screen will go down the screen by itself. As a result, you have to re-position the mouse. Do not know whether this is because of the driver or not.

Worked great for 6 months
For the first 6 months, this mouse worked great. It eats batteries though. In the beginning, the batteries lasted just over 2 months. Now they only last about a month.

It Just Doesn't Work
I read the good and bad reviews of this mouse and decided to take my chances. I should have listened to the folks who had trouble with the mouse. It moves the cursor on the screen very erratically. I made several attempts on two different computers, and it was completely unusable. I've returned the mouse to Amazon, and I truly hope that they will discard any remaining inventory of this item and never offer it again. (They might also consider testing the items that they offer for sale.)

The mouse with Parkinson's disease
For my PowerBook - my first bluetooth mouse (a macally bt) worked for about nine months and then a bad battery caused major leakage all over my desk. So for the replacement I read the reviews and went with the Kensington bluetooth mini - primarily for the on/off functionality.
not all that it could be
The first mouse I received was simply defective, and needed replacing, which Kensington did after half a dozen email exchanges. The mouse was erratic from the start, would not stay on, and eventually would not go on at all. The replacement mouse is problem-free, and perfectly adequate, thus enabling a comparison between it and Apple's wireless "mighty mouse". The most obvious difference is in the action of the scroll wheel, which on the Kensington mouse is ratchet-like and clunky. In all my long research on cordless laser models, this was the one that impressed me the most -- mostly from informative reviews from other users.
Wow, now this is the mouse I was looking for...
I really tried to like my MS Laser Notebook Mouse 6000. I tried to like all three of them over the last four months in fact...There is something seriously wrong with that mouse - and I am not terribly tough on mice.... I was tired of calling MS and getting a replacement only for it to last a month. Razer is USUALLY excellent but the Copperhead BITES!
Folks, I've used ALL of the razer mice over the years that I have been gaming and guess what? Up 'til this piece of useless plastic I was extremely pleased with Razer's selection of mice for "lefties" and gamers with smaller hands.

Mouse speed is very fast. After getting used to this mouse any older mouse becomes frustrating as they're too slow. You barely need to move your wrist to move it. You just need to get used to the speed and your all good.

Beware of worsening problems
I run the IT department in a small office (around 30 users).Four of the users who had turned to this mouse to deal with carpal tunnel issues initially found it quite comfortable.However, that changed over time with each one complaining of pain from the thumb to the wrist.
No more pain and love the scroll!
I was starting to get pains in my wrist and occasionally up to my elbow. I'm so glad I shrugged off the price of this mouse and bought it. I don't often write reviews but just had to share that I have had no pain since I bought it over a month ago. I also love the scroll button. I can't believe I put up with a scroll wheel for so long. Clicking the scroll button also serves other purposes.. once click on a Firefox tab closes that tab, clicking on any link with it opens the link in a new tab (probably new window in IE but I rarely use IE).
Great idea, abysmal quality
Until I bought this mouse I had terrible pain in my fingers from clicking a mouse all day and was developing wrist pain, too.It completely solved my problems because it requires no movement of your fingers (well, besides your thumb) or wrist, however, this mouse is still a P.O.S.After a few months of use, mine developed the infamous "double click" problem so often mentioned here.Another person in our office experienced the same.So what are we supposed to do?There is no other mouse design like this, so it seems that 3m is under no pressure to improve quality and a great idea is thus being held captive in this chintzy plastic tribute to cheapness! About TIME!!! LEFTIES REJOICE!!!
It is about time. For years I have been writing Logitech to give the lefties a high quality mouse by them.I have been using Logitech products for many years.. Last being a MX700..Always have to adjust to the ergo of a right handed mouse. That is the only way to get a high performance mouse that is cordless. With that said between my non-ergo mouse at work and my MX700..This is welcome albeit wierd change. Felt strange at first. install the software provided..If you are like me I double click with my left mouse key like a righty but standard software provided from logitech wont let you swap buttons until you install the software. I am purchasing one for the office right now.

The perfect mouse for me!
I bought this mouse about three months ago, and I love it.It works on every surface, and the scroller works well too.The only complaint I have is that the cord is rather short (about 2.5 feet long), and it plugs into the left-hand side of my laptop, which means that I only have about a foot to work with.Although, I think that complaint can be shared equally with the Dell people for putting the USB port on the left (good deal for the left-handed population, I guess).Some people have complained about the wind-up function for the cord getting tangled, but I haven't had any problems with that.

Perfect mouse for traveling - 2 thumbs up!
This mouse has made traveling with my laptop so much easier. Even though I tend to be an avid user of the track-pad on my PowerBook it can become very tedious and making room for a large mouse has made packing tricky. Since purchasing this mouse I've had no problems and have increase my productivity while on the road. It has also made it easier for those non track-pad users to jump on to my computer without a problem.
Small but mighty
Works excellent. Just started using it
I have just started using this mouse, so I cannot comment on how effective it is at reducing pain. However, I can comment on which "size" is best: small/medium, or large. My hand is approximately 3" across the palm (not including thumb), and I originally bought the small/medium version (3M recommends small/medium if your palm width is 3.5" inches or smaller). I must say that I found the small/medium one a bit too small for my liking. However, the "large" one does feel a bit too large as well. I think if your palm is 3", then you can probably go with either one and get used to it. I ended up going with the large one.

Cheap plastic construction
I had pretty bad hand pain from my microsoft wireless mouse. I bought three of these based on the reviews I read here. The day I started using it the pain disapeared, however I gave my teenage son one too and that is when the bad news arrived. Within a week he had snapped the mouse in two. I figured he was just being a teenager until a month later when i broke mine in half. I took the third one and guess what, same exact way the third one broke. The base and the handle are connected with a plastic snap like joint. The joint occurs in the very place torque is likely to occur and there are three little tabs of plastic that are less than 1/8th of an inch thick keeping it together. Its amazing an engineer at 3M could think this was a good design. Oh well. I just threw them away, not sure if i could have returned them to 3M. They work so well ergonomically, once you get used to them, that I will probably buy more.

If it fits just right
My hand was too big even for the LARGE version, which made my thumb rest in a very awkward position. While my forearm felt more relaxed using the mouse, my hand itself actually started hurting.

decent for light to moderate use
I use this at work where I sit at a computer 8 hours a day 5 days a week.Firstly the ergonomics are good.I typically like a larger mouse, but this relatively small mouse fits nicely in my hand and doesn't take much space in my laptop bag either.The thumb mouse button works well, I have it programmed for double click.The mousewheel button is pretty useless.A click only registers about 1-3 times.After about 5 months of use the rubber coating is discolored and started to peel on the thumb side.Another thing i've noticed of late is that the right mouse button sometimes also does a right AND then left click.I noticed this because I recently switched back to using Opera and a hold down right mouse button and click left does a "Back" operation in the browser, and many times i'll try to right click something and go back to the previous page or some other nonsensical thing.I'm not sure when this started since I just switched back to Opera where it's unmistakable but it's very annoying.Wireless signal quality isn't allways great either, though with good batteries you can go for a month without replacing them.The side to side scrolling is also pretty useless since it's so slow that I just mouse over to the horizontal scrollbars.Overall it's a decent mouse, if a little pricy.I'll look for something a bit more durable in my next mouse though.

Feeble wireless, buttons decay quickly
Worst mouse I've ever used I think. Wireless signal is reported as weak all the time, even if I put the mouse right next to the reciever. The latest thing tho is that the buttons have stopped working unless I smash down on them. I've only had it for a few months. After clicking on one button about 20 times before it would do anything, I'm about ready to toss it in the trash.

After 5 successful, trouble-free months a problem developed and persists.

It's a good mouse for the price
This mouse seems to be doing a good job. I like a few important features, the optical lens does not emit any kind of light, so you don't get that red glow whenever you use the mouse. I like the fact that it uses a usb stick instead of a corded reciever. I also like that media buttons have a nice blue glow when you click on one. The mouse seems pretty well built, and it's a good idea that there is an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse. the reset button is well designed to because its recessed so you won't accidently hit it, but it's big enough to use a pencil or pen or whatever you have handy. the mouse has a good weight to it, and it is compatabile with firefox which is good too. (read an earlier review with how to set up this mouse with firefox, the directions were perfect). There are a few things i don't like about this mouse. I don't really care for how the buttons click. i cant really explain it in words. I had another logitech mouse which clicks very nicely because they are sepereate buttons. If you look at the photos you will see that the right click and left click main buttons are not seperate but one large molded piece of plastic. the clicks seem more aburpt if that makes sense at all. The scroll is not as smooth as i would have hoped. the individual roll clicks are very defined and almost jerky, but certainly not smooth. finally the configuration of all the buttons seems a little awkward, it may be that my fingers are just getting used to the new configuration of buttons, but it seems my thumb has to reach to hit the back and especially the forward button but not big deal. Oh and one last note, Logitech seems very keening on really making this a remote as well as a mouse. so it has the very symetrical form of a remote and NOT the ergonomic shape to contour to your hand. I mean, this (for me at least) is going to be used as a mouse about 98% of the time and a remote 1% and a page holder the other 1% of the time. I like it when mice really are fomred to match a hand. I would prefer that then a weak combination of a remote mouse. It's mainly a mouse so it should be shaped that way. Overall it's a cool mouse for 35 bucks or so. I would not pay more than that though. I am about 88% satisfied with this mouse. Hope this helped you!

Not for Lefties
I'm sure this mouse would be great if you are right-handed, but not for lefties. For one, the mouse does not support left-handed capabilities. You can't even swap the click buttons. Left-handed people should stay away from this mouse. Is it too much to ask for mice that support left-handers and have some extra buttons like the right-handers have?

Had some of the problems mentioned before, BUT. . .
I had the problem with the cursor jumping around or not moving along one axis intermittently.Driver upgrade helped but did not eliminate the problem.I exchanged it and the new mouse works perfectly!So if you have these problems, it's not you or your PC.Just exchange it for a new one. ... Read more

Add the MX 310 with the G5 you get G3 perfection!
I was pretty happy with the MX 310 for about a year. I'm still happy with it for the most part, but I figured I was missing something. I wanted the new tecnology with higher accuracy. The G3 fits the bill. With the Setpoint 3.01 software, you have many options. You can set the DPI (Dots Per Inch for those that don't know) to five settings from 800 through 2000. Also when using the SP software you set Axis sensitivity. Of course the best part for me is the small footprint of the mouse and the fact it has no funny angles for righties. It is extremely light, without feeling cheap. I finally got a mouse with the high DPI settings without the funny angles, its about time. Anyone who enjoys MX 310 won't have a problem here.

Waste of 3 gift certificates
I was sent a very nice wireless mouse.You have to have a CD to install this on your computer.I was unfortunately sent the wrong CD.I have been all over trying to find the correct CD.I have to buy the Wireless Mouse to get the CD that comes with it.With shipping this cost me around $25.Thanks for nothing.

This is a sweet mouse. It's just the right size and feels comfortable in your hand. I use it with XP and it's worked perfectly - no wireless issues, good tracking, etc.. The mousewheeel and buttons have a nice feel to them, too. I can't think of a single thing to complain about.

usable but not for extended lengths of time
I purchased not one but two of the Kensington 72239 mini pilotmouse.I first purchased a mini to use at home, loving the freedom of wireless I purchased the second one for work. Several issues occured then -- the USB portion was not interchangeable to either mouse which meant I had to always remove the stick at home/work; the stick is indeed long (sticks out pretty far) and I did manage to snap it apart by accident (fortunately it was not damaged and I was able to reassemble it with no issue);using this mouse for extended periods of time (e.g. 12-15 hour days) was starting to wear on my wrist.After four weeks time,I gave up using both of them and opted to return to my more comfortable less flexible dell mouse.
scroll wheel won't wake up mouse
First I bought the Logitech V400, which has a better solution than this mouse for storing the USB receiver.The receiver fits completely within the Logitech, but only perches on the bottom of the Kensington when not in use.It comes off easily when in my bag, and turns the mouse on in the process.But this is a minor gripe.
