lot of features in small package
I've owned a Zen Nano for a couple of months and it has been a fun little gadget. I was surprised to find the FM radio tuner to be reasonably sensitive for something with no external antenna, it pulls in a lot of stations. It turns out that you don't have to even bother installing the software CD that comes with it onto your computer. When you plug the Nano into a USB port it looks just like a flash drive, you can see it in Windows Explorer and simply copy songs directly onto it and manipulate the files any way you want. That's very handy. You can delete songs from it using the jog wheel if you get tired of them. Sound quality is good, battery life is also good.
Best Unit I've Tried for Listening to Radio Talk Show Files
I just bought the Zen Nano Plus, and am thrilled with it.It has pretty much everything I've been looking for, to suit my narrow purposes (listening to downloaded radio talk shows and other speech-based programs; plan to also use audio books in the future).I've found no other unit of comparable price and size that meets all my requirements. The BEST part, for me, is the fact that it will scroll backward or forward through a track quickly, AND it will "resume" where you left off. I haven't found any other machine in its class that will do BOTH.Here's my rundown:
No reset button, Nano Plus died
I've used the Nano intermittantly.I use my big Creative Zen player (30 gig) most of the time, and I'm very happy with it.I joined a gym and wanted a smaller player to listen to while excercising, thus the Creative Zen Nano Plus.Originally I had no problems. However, recently I unplugged the device after syncing it to my computer.Since then the Nano will not turn on.Changing the battery hasn't made a difference. No screen display at all.

My new VCR
The VCR arrived in good shape in good time.It has capabilities that are not offered by retail stores in my area they are beginning to phase out VCRs in favor of other recording methods. I'm satisfied with Amazon.com and will continue to do business with you.
Came fast and in good condition!
Great job in getting it fast, and it was very well wrapped and in good condition!
Sony SLV-N750 VCR
I bought this on Amazon about 5 weeks ago and am satisfied with it.The display is big enough to read the channel # from across the room. The remote is easy to use, although it works the volume but not the channels on my 8 yr old TV so I must have the VCR on and use it's tuner to watch TV (TV remote lost).the knob on the box, rather than buttons to rw and ff, is odd, but works.

I'll be moving my stereo to the basement
In the spirit of full disclosure, I have to confess that I'm not an audiophile. I'm a music fan, and I'm definitely not the type to be more into his stereo than the music he plays on it.
Happily surprised
I recently purchased the Apple Hi-Fi Stereo inorder to have high quality sound for vacations, outdoor picnics and special events. We ended up using this system as the sole house music system for our children during a move. The quality of sound, the volume available and the ease of use were amazing and well beyond what I expected in this "portable" system.I would highly recommend it. On my wish list, I would like to see a black version and a padded travel case for protection and ease of traveling.
Great sound, but an FM tuner would be nice
Other than the lack of an FM tuner--no complaints. Great sound, solidly built.

definitely worth the money
I bought this toshiba portable dvd player yesterday and think it's a great buy, based on four hours of continuous use.
So far, so good, great value
This is my first portable DVD player that I have purchased. It has all the bells and whistles I need, including an 8" widescreen format to enjoy mini theater like video while on the go.I have seen other views fixated on "do not use in a moving vehicle", but I think that is meant to be "don't watch while driving", poorly translated to english. This works fine while moving and in the backseat, and properly secured. This Div-X certified, DTS, Dolby, THX,...ect, plays almost anything you throw at it.It also has build in MMC/XD/SD/Memory stick slot built right into the front, so you can see a nice slide show of family photos prior to returning home. The battery is a bit bulky, but fits nice and flat to the back and bottom of the unit, and has a reasonable life (4 hours). This comes iwth AV mini cable adapter, AC adapter, Car adapter, slim remote, and battery pack. I do see a possible inconvenience of having to send this back to the vendor for work, but I recieved this as a gift, and that is fine by me.An extended warranty was not available where purchased, so this was the option anyway.Overall, picture quality is great, sound is adequate, but with 2 headphone jacks, there is no fighting to hear the sound. This has video in and video out and optical audio out...so it can be hooked into a big tv/stereo system. Finally, very light unit, 1.9 lbs without battery, very portable.Worth checking out, I'm happy, and I think you will be too.
Very good Portable DVD player
T. Tom wrote an excellent review. This is indeed a great player and the best I've found in this price range. I just want to add one tidbit of information that I wish I could find out before buying the unit.

great tv - poor shipping
After a couple weeks, I think this set is great.
NiceBuy
Purchased this after reading many reviews of other brands. Arrived in perfect condition, and was contacted prior to arrange delivery time. Up, programmed, and running in 10 minutes tops.Great size for family viewing, nice clarity and sound.Price was lower than sale prices at local video stores. We are very pleased-- if this is your first HDTV you'll be happy without breaking the bank.
WARNING!!!
This TV is good in all ways but the ONE thing I bought it for: HD.I bought the $100 HDMI cable to get true HD and this TV does NOT support HDCP (Copy Protection) when I connect it to my HD-DVR cable from Time Warner in NYC.Before you buy this or any HDTV, check to make sure it does not block you from getting HD because of HDCP. It varies by specific TV model, and not by brand. One Samsung TV may allow, while another may block. This information is not readily available on the checklist of features that you use to comparison shop, so find that out BEFORE you buy and get stuck like I did.I would totally return this TV had I not already thrown away the box.

A contrast ratio of up to 2500:1 captures blacker blacks, crisper whites and images that burst into life. Outstanding HDTV!!
It was time to update my 6 year old 52" Samsung Projection and break into HDTV...I knew I was going with Samsung again because of the pure satisfaction of my previous big screen, and DLP was the way to go fo me after much research.I've had this TV for 3 weeks now and could not be happier, it is everything I knew it was going to be and then some, and it is a very good looking TV as well.Amazon's price could not be beat and the delivery company Eagle was top notch(for free to boot)!!Great TV and the HD is awesome, I paired this TV with the Samsung Home Theater HT-Q80, and it is a match made in heaven, I'm able to run the DVDs through the second HDMI input and they look amazing!!
Look no further, this is IT.
I've been watching and waiting for over 6 months before buying.I was certain I was going to get the Samsung DLP HDTV but which model I was unsure. After reading review after review I knew I wanted the option to turn off the DNIe feature. The HLS-5086w allows the option to turn it off if wanted and so I just recently purchased this TV.
FANTASTIC for FOOTBALL!
I cannot tell you how elated we are to have this television. We had just moved into our new home so my wife and I decided we would like to have a larger television for our new den. I did ALOT of research on the subject while we were trying to attempt a decision.

You get what you pay for
Not bad for the money, aka, you get what you pay for.Disappointed in the player being slow to load DVD's (~20 seconds per, 20+ seconds to go between discs). Most disappointing is the fact that it does not play HD-DVD.It is not advertised to do so, but why build all the support for HDMI, and not support HD-DVD?My guess is, they put the wrong kind of drive in it, and thats why it won't play SA-CD's either. On the plus side, it was easy to setup, and plays scratched DVD's that our other DVD player won't.
Good value, BUT does NOT play SACDs
Video and stereo sound is great from this unit. No complaints there. BUT if you are looking for a SACD player this is not it.
Fine value
This is a really fine product. Minutes to set up, flawless reproduction, seamless performance. I'm not sure what the reviewer above me meant by it doesn't do SACD though he/she might be right about it not being in the manual. SACD will play in a great many DVD players with optical (as the Sony has) or co-ax digital audio out. I've had this player five hours and have not been able to stump it with a format or a less than stellar condition DVD.

Perfect for the internet cafe
This PCMCIA card isn't the fanciest or quickest wireless adapter around, but it is a reliable performer that will connect with just about any wifi system out there.Installation is quick and easy.Sometimes more basic can be better.
Great price and reliable hardware
We had compared prices and for the $9.99 price it was a good deal.Easy to install in minutes and works great on multiple machines with no problems.Highly recommend.
No Clutter
Great, now I don't need a 25 foot COX cable to hook up my internet. Best of all eveything is now in a network, desktop, printer, laptop. Easy set up as long as you read directions. Mine was a little tricky because my laptop is old and is a Windows 98SE system, so had to make a setup disk, but not a problem. I bought Linksey WUSB11(desktop), WRT54G(Modem), WPC11(laptop).

Just what my home theatre needed...
I read the reviews, as I always do, here on Amazon and at epinions before buying this little subwoofer!
This one is a real gem
I recently upgraded my5.1 THX home theater system by adding a replacement AV Receiver and this gem of a subwoofer.
Amazing deal & very powerful
I recently got this sub to add on to two satellite speakers, and the results are unbelievable. With the gain turned up to barely to 25%, everything already starts to rattle (and I have a bit of experience with bass: 200W 12" sub in my car). This 100W sub is very efficient with its well designed front port, and the amplifier is very clean. At high outputs (haven't actually put it to the max because #1 wearing it in + #2 afraid of ppl complaining...), the sound is not distorted at all. Very, very good deal being 100W RMS (not 100W max like many of the other advertised systems...Yamaha). From a very dependable company too, Sony. Couldn't be happier!!!
