What I've Been Waiting for...but Get the Car Kit
This device meets all of my needs as both an XM radio and a MP3/WMA player. Just keep in mind, that unless you have an input jack on your head mount in your car that you need the Car Kit (YACP200) to listen to this device in your car. In comparison to the Inno/Helix the only thing that makes this device less than perfect is that it does not have Tune Select (in other words it can't detect other artists or songs on another channel). However, this is okay because if you switch to the other song you cannot record it because of the delay it takes for the radio to detect other streams. In addition, if you live in an area where there are no XM terrestrial modulators the fact that this radio does not have an antenna built in does not really matter because you cannot pick up a signal on the go anyway.
Excellent Radio!Love it!Love it!
I have had a SKYFI2 and my husband has had the Myfi XM2GO.This radio is by far the best of all!!!!I record songs that I love just by a couple of touches of the buttons. So very easy.I thought I would miss the preset buttons greatly, but there is a favorites list that does the same thing.I am thrilled. It is incredibly small yet very easy to navigate. If you are worried about being able to navigate this thing while driving, don't.Just be sure you mount it up high.I made the mistake of having my SKYFI2 too low and it was very difficult to drive while using it.I have not used this out of my car yet, so I can not say how it does.I have listened to the recorded songs and they are several clicks away, but still easy to get to.All in all, I highly recommend and my husband is going to get one too.
Much better than a MyFi...
We used to have a MyFi and a friend purchased a Helix and neither unit is ready to be called "portable".If I have to hold the unit up in the air to get a signal - it's a waste.Since these units don't allow you to wear them and play them (unless you live in NY City), we opted to the Nexus. It's smaller and we don't have to "position" it in a attempt to get a signal. With 50 hours of music, we have lots of content for exercising, hanging at the beach and working.

Samsung LCD LNS4692D
Cool looking TV when turned off. The HD channels are great but the regular channels are kind of grainy. Is this true with all big screen TV's, if someone could answer me that would be great. I don't know if a plasma will make the regular channels look less grainy. Any comments or suggestions please let me know!
Very noticeable ghost images appearing
My parents just bought this TV in August. It was great during bright scenes, and sports looked great on ESPN HD and Over-the-AIR channels. However I noticed some ghosting during dark scenes. It is currently hooked up via HDMI (Monster Cable) to the DISH NETWORK ViP622 DVR receiver and Sony DVD Player (DVP-NS75H) via HDMI (Monster Cable). Ghosting showed up while watching the movie RV (during dark/night scenes) and watching movies on TNT HD, HDNET movies and other channels. The Technician came by today and quickly acknowledged the ghosting problem. He ordered a Video Processor? (not sure of exact part) and will install in about 10 days. I will post an update once the part is installed with the details of exactly what part was installed and if it fixed the problem. The picture still looks great, but the ghosting does become very annoying once you begin to notice it. I could find no other postings of anyone having this same problem.
Fine product
Beautiful set for the living room. It is very easy to clean with a cloth provided.Picture is great on HD and ok on SD channels over component.

Great Little Radio
I bought this radio based on another buyers review on this page and I was happy that I did. Now I can listen to Michael Savage at work! Yey! This little thing can pick up stations from as far away as Atlanta, although, fuzzy. I can also get in Jacksonville (70 miles) and Savannah (80 miles) so yeah, I'm happy. It's steal at $12.00. And I love the old school design. It's funny how people my age (28) don't even know what a radio looks like! They ask, "What's that thing?" like it's some unusual device from Mars. Maybe they're stoned. Anyway, it's a sound investment if you want a nice little portable radio. Also I think it arrived in only 3 or 5 days which was another plus.
Just buy it
You won't be sorry. I'm 60 miles from NYC and can't get WABC--a powerful station--without drift and static on two AM radios which cost three times what this one does. No problem with the Sony. Comes in clear.
Great Purchase
I live in NYC, tough to get reception on AM stations. This radio works great, gets excellent reception on both AM and FM.

Garbage!!!!
Stops Playing and ccompletely shuts off in a 5-15 minute time frame with a fully charged battery.Volume max. is not loud at all. This player is very noisy which makes the volume seem even lower. Can only Stop or Play Movie without the very delicate remote.

Hunk of Junk
Bought this player used it twice and now it doesn't work.I took great care of it.Every time I put a CD in it it reads no disc. It's not the batteries.Wish I would have saved the receipt so I could send this hunk of junk back.
Definately not worth the price
I love to sing in the shower, so my grandparents decided that this would make a good Hanukkah gift for me. Unfortunately, I can only use it once or twice before I have to change the batteries. When you first put in batteries, both the CD player and radio work great. But then, after a shower or two, the radio will play about 30 seconds of a song before decaying into an annoyingly loud "boom boom boom" noise. The CD player will either skip or not start at all. The only remedy I've found to this problem is changing the batteries, which are still practically at full power. Now, I must say that I "abuse" this device...I use it daily, leave it in the shower, and probably expose it to numerous cleaning chemicals, but from reading the other reviews I have determined that my problems might not stem only from this behavior. Bottom line: Don't get it if you plan to use it more than a few times,
I LOVE IT
I got is as a gift and it works and sounds great!

Too many Digital Artifacts Visible
This Sony KDL40S2000 40" Bravia Flat Panel LCD HDTV is a bit disappointing. This unit brigs out a lot of imperfections in DVDs. Unless you get a pure digital signal, this HDTV seems to enhance imperfections in your video source. It's a good unit but I do not like how it enhances digital artifacts from many DVDs that I watched on it last weekend. Standard cable other than HD looks unacceptable. Perhaps the store was getting a weak signal.
I love it
Outstanding in every way.HD picture is outstanding and hook up in very easy.Highly recommended!
THE best HDTV for the money, period!
Like many others, I did all of the research and parked myself in the TV showrooms of Best Buy, Circuit City, Sound Advice, etc. and I can tell you without a doubt, that this 40" Sony Bravia had the best picture and sound quality of them all. Even beat out the 37" Sharp Acquos!

Excellent Player
First of all, I'm not computer savy, I'm over 54 years of age, and this is my first MP3 player. It is a beautiful player that is very easy to use. I had no problem loading the software on my computer. Music and pictures downloaded with ease. The clarity and vibrant colors on the screen are exceptional. The radio works well as does the built in microphone. I loaded videos last night with out a hitch. It's great to drop and click and the software did a format conversion to the videos before loading and all was well. The player is fairly simple to navigate and it's fun to try out all the options. The player takes pitures from a compact flash card very easily and efficiently. For being a non-computer geek, this player is the best and is just a joy to operate. The ear buds aren't the most comfortable so you might want to change these out.
Excellent PVP ever!!
It has all the features i had ever dreamed of. Picture quality is too gud. Even we can listen to songs while browsing through the photos.
Outrageously cool!
I have the old Zen Xtra MP3 player and I thought that would suffice, but after doing research and reading reviews, I just had to get it! The Creative Zen Vision W, 30 GB.

Editorial Review Not every space can accommodate a traditionally sized stereo system, which is where the Sony CMT-NEZ30 comes into play. The diminutive unit fits easily in a work cubicle, bookcase, tool cabinet, or rec room, yet still boasts plenty of power for small rooms (30 watts total), a pair of full-range speakers, and a trio of reliable components. The top-loading CD player serves as the centerpiece, with such features as CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3-CD compatibility and a host of playback modes, including program, shuffle, and repeat. The four-track, two-channel cassette deck, meanwhile, not only records from CDs or the radio, but also starts recording at the moment the CD starts playing, ensuring seamless playback later on. Add in a digital AM/FM tuner with 30 station presets (10 AM and 20 FM) and you have a system that aims to please. Read more

Needs tweeking for the 5th star.
Out of the carton -- everything worked as advertized, and the sound is pleasant. The speakers are the weak link. The day after I set it up to test it, I replaced the speakers with an inexpensive pair of Radioshack speakers I bought years ago: model 7s, I believe -- 4" woofer, 1/2" tweeter in a small, solid sealed enclosure of walnut veneer. These speakers are half the size of the supplied SONYs, and at least twice the weight.
It's ok..
Not a bad little unit...wish it remembered where you were on the CD when you turn it off like other units I'm used to especially since it doesn't really "shut off" but goes into "stand-by" mode...Not as much power as I thought it would have for 30 watts... Would be nice if the aux (ipod/mp3) jack was on the front not the back...speaker 2 output would be nice...simple little unit, works fine so far...
Great compact stereo system
I'm very happy with this desktop system.Great sound, great reception, great price.

Gigabeat battery
I purchased the Gigabeat after reading the reviews about this unit being the "ipod killer".
Worst to install
i had this one after iaudio this is ok but the most thing that i don't like that you have to do sync from media player it can't show by folder like computer while in iaudio you can beald as many folder you want like computer. and just drag from one drive to another so simple while this is so confusion i just got it and now i m sending back.good bye toshiba i preffer to by iaudio its amazing even it has fm recording and all function better than this. so consider iaudio.
Gigabeat beats IPOD
I have had this latest version of Toshiba's Gigabeat for a couple of months now and have found it to be a welcome upgrade the the older model. The user interface is much easier to work with and the screen is wonderful.IPOD has some catching up to do with this one!!

V-POD REVIEW
I disagree with the only other review for the V-Pod. The Volume range is quiet to very loud and the controls are easy to use.The video screen is clear. The appearance is very nice and it has some pretty cool features like radio, video and mic.The weight is nice also. There are two features I don't like. One is that the headphones "in" jack is smaller than normal jacks preventing use of other headphones at least with out an adapter and the jack is on the side rather than the top or bottom which makes armband mounting ackward. Second, while in "music" mode, scanning through music files doesn't appear to be as user friendly as the IPOD but I have only owned the VPOD for one day and have more investigating to do. Over all I think this is a good buy.
Not A Good Buy.
When i recived it in the mail (1-2 days) i opened it and as soon as i turned the V pod on, the screen lit up, but it showed no menu or song selecting screen. i tried everything but it didint work.I also followed the directions to raise the volume, but i still can barely hear it in the car. I suggest you buy a differint mp3 or mp4 player. If i'm doing something wrong or if theres a way to e-mail the merchant of this item, please tell me.

Great but not the best
I purchased this mp3 player to replace my old broken coby mp3. It's very easy to use. It does NOT play wma files. It only plays mp3's but the quality of the player is great. The earphones that come with it are horrible so I suggest purchasing a new set of earphones. The functions work properly and it's worth purchasing for under $30.
Doesn't work with Windows Media Player
This player doesn't work with Windows Media Player. This player works by dragging files in Windows Explorer so any protected content WMAs will only cause a format error. If you are only playing songs you took off your own CDs then this player should work fine, but if you have any music you've downloaded from a Napster type service then you are out of luck.

Editorial Review When an emergency strikes, will you have the vital information you need? The Etón FR300 answers that question with a resounding yes. This sturdy AM/FM radio is built to handle the elements, as well as a power outage, thanks to a hand crank that can be used to recharge the built-in battery. Thanks to the FR300's reception of NOAA weather radio, emergency information is always close at hand when you need it, making this radio a must-have for anyone who wants to be as ready as possible for unforeseen events. So far, this radio seems fine
I bought this radio for my hurricane kit. We've had the power go out for a week or more, so the crank power was appealing.I also like the TV tuner (the TV stations have bigger news teams) and the weather radio.
Non-durable
Yes I like the AM reception-- But after using the Eton Fr-300 for thre months. The hand crank generator failed. With an inspection internally I found it was due to a Plastic reduction gear. Untill that point and time I was happy with it.
Not a Bad Upgrade to the Grundig FR200
For both emergency and regular use, which I covet both reasons based on where I live, this Eton FR300 is a minor, but otherwise not bad, upgrade to the dependable FR200. It looks and feels durable right out of the box comparable to the FR200. With NOAA Weather bands instead of Short Wave channels I will never use, I'm kept up to date with any weather emergencies. The T.V. channel feature is also solid; I get my channels for news and information up here. With the crank handle I will never really need an adapter or batteries i
