5-0 out of 5 stars Good pocket pc
This is a great pocket pc it has everything I need to do my work. I would highly recomend you get this for your teenager because can help them with their school work.

1-0 out of 5 stars You will waste your life trying to get it to work.
I bought mine in Dec 04. Like many people I thought I needed this to stay organized. The basic features worked fine (Contacts, Calendar, etc..) It's when you try to use features like Wifi, bluetooth, Nevo, Etc... that you waste hours before you get it to work properly. If you have the time you can get them to work, but I found that I never really used the wifi or any multimedia features.

5-0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC PDA!!!!
This was my first PDA, and I wanted to purchase one mainly as a medical reference tool.Having no prior experience with PDA's, I carefully read the reviews on various websites on a number of high end Palm and PocketPC PDA's.I was in a quandry, because the reviews were so mixed. While the majority gave favorable or so-so reviews of the various models, many were greatly disappointed and described horror stories of wasting days trying to get the product to work properly.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing
Ibought this one mainly for medical use. After paying I started looking for reviews and was horrified to find out that it had many OS problems
5-0 out of 5 stars HP's best pocket PC to date
This is the third iPaq I've purchased in the last 5 years. It has all the bells and whitles of the previous versions with the newer version of Windows Mobile. other than better memory management (a lot better, I might add) the only other difference Win Mobile 5 added was PowerPoint.

4-0 out of 5 stars The first hard to get review it seems
I just got it finally and I previosly bought a Franklins BES 1945(Pure rubbish had to give it away) hard to read annoying and very basic. So I decided to try this one and yes there is a big difference in price landed in Australia, but Yes I like it a lot,the screen is much better than the frankin Bes 1945, but still not the greatest to read, but good enough and has a constant back light and looks much cooler as well.

For the technophile who refuses to see the world in black and white,Palm has created the Palm IIIc handheld--a color version of the company'simmensely popular Palm III handheld. 5-0 out of 5 stars Reliable
I've had this thing for at least 3 years and it just works. It does what it's supposed to and rarely locks up (usually because of some weird software I've downloaded for it) -it's easy to use, the battery has held up...I've dropped it on hard tile floors from 3 - 4 feet up and it hasn't broke yet.I have absolutely no complaints.

4-0 out of 5 stars 3 1/2 Years of Day in and Day Out Use
The Palm IIIc is by all accounts a dinosaur by today's PDA Standards. But there was a time when this was leading-edge PDA technology.Back in 2000, this was Palm's first entry into the Color PDA market (using a Palm OS). In fairness, the market and technology have truly now headed to pace where most consumers can't even keep up. However, if you aren't interested in having the latest/greatest technology, the Palm IIIc may be a true bargain if you are looking for solid PDA technology.5-0 out of 5 stars Still a solid value
Great, with one caveat: *very* hard to find replacement batteries nowadays -- you will eventually need one. There is only one place I know where you can order it (cheap, only $35 for a lithium ion rechargable):Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best PDA!
I am sad that Sony is no longer in the PDA business. This is one of the best PDAs of its time.I've had it for several years and still use it.It combines all the features I need, plus more. The keyboard is the main reason I purchased it- very easy to use and illuminates.I also love the ability to check email and surf the web, snap quick pictures, read files, and listen to music and audiobooks. The battery life is not the best, but there are lots of accessories and there is an extended battery. It comes loaded with applications and games. The screen is a nice size.I still get questions and compliments on it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Hoorah for the UX50!!!
Finally, a handheld that offers everything built-in that is extra with most other handhelds! Surf the net, take a picture, and play games, as well as a built-in keyboard. I LOVE this Clie.

5-0 out of 5 stars PERFORMS AS EXPECTED
We had a similar item on one of our wedding registries and it was still outstanding afterward. I had also read several unfavorable reviews in regard to that item, many of which stemmed form it having plastic parts.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great thick malts!
Great malt maker! I love thick malts and this mixer works great! The mixer aerates the icecream and mixes malt in well. The mixer stand is very heavy and sturdy and looks classy. For the price it is well worth it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
I couldn't disagree more with the previous reviewer.I purchased the Oster milkshake maker and use it almost everyday.Three of my sons love their shakes super thick...the Oster had no problem with the amount of ice cream. My other son watches his weight for wrestling, and I just put low-fat milk and a little cocoa and the Oster whips up an incredibly thick drink (usually making a glass and a half). If you put in some crushed ice with milk, it also whips up very thick and frothy.I am very pleased. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars GRRREEEEAAAAT
I have owned my Axim for about 3 years and I love it. Sure there are better looking PDA's out there (Palm & Sony) but I have to use MS Office for work and tend to use it at home as well so there was really no alternative. That said it is a good thing!!! I use mine for e-mail and browsing although browsing can be slow due to processing power. I added a CF Wifi card which is cool, I also found an external folding keyboard and docking station on e-bay at a great price. I used to use a Psion 5 cause it had an excellant keyboard but now I use the Dell all the time. Add a 256mb CF or SD and you have storage for a shed load of songs, the media player works great!!! I also wrote a book on it last year (which was published!!) I have used it with TomTom software and GPS which worked vey well. I have also sync'd my mobile (cell) phone with it to use as a modem and back up my contacts on that via IR although bluetooth works better. My only gripe is the back-up battery can drain very quickly and i have lost all info once but now keep regulary backed up to avoid this problem.

1-0 out of 5 stars Screen Froze and No Option to Repair
Up until recently I have enjoyed the Axim. That is, until the screen froze. It no longer responds to the stylus. I called Dell Tech Support (if you can call it that) and they told me THEY DO NOT REPAIR THE AXIM. My only two options were to trade in my existing Axim for the same model (yeah, right) which would cost me about $150, or buy a completely new pda. They don't even have a service dept. for the Axim. I couldn't believe that any company would put their name on a product and not stand behind it. DO NOT BUY DELL.

2-0 out of 5 stars Dell Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired.
I've been reading the reviews about Dell Customer Service on Amazon and other shopping web sites.I was relieved to see that I was not the only one that has expeirenced the difficulties dealing with Dell. They continue to show a lack of organization and because of that I'm now sure they spend a lot of time apologizing to their customers.Tech support is a hit or miss depending who you talk to, if you can understand what they are saying.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really Good Product
I really love this Ipaq it has every thing I need to do my Job with. This can really replace your laptop. But if you do buy this you will need a WiFi card to connect to the internet. Hp Job well done with this Ipaq.

1-0 out of 5 stars wireless sdcard drains battery!! AVOID
I just thught people should know- It claims to be expandable with sd cards-while true to an extent. I purchased an expensive sd network card; now i can surf. Only for about ten minutes, because sd cards drain the battery FAST!! Now I wish I had saved up for a Dell Axim which has the network built in. My point is you get what you pay for! I hope this helps you avoid a mistake I made- thought i could save a few bucks (what a dummy don't be fooled I give the 2215 a failing grade)

1-0 out of 5 stars battery is very bad
This product has one BIG flaw. If the battery goes dead everything is lost. The back up battery does not work. There is no way to protect yourself if you remove the battery unless you back up daily. The battery case opens often and the battery falls out. I have lost data so many times that I am replacing this product. I like all the other features. The battery problem is a deal breaker. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars I'm surprised by the problems
I've had my 4155 for almost 3 years and am shocked by the screen problems people have commented on here. I've never had any issue with the lcd and have dropped my unit multiple times (this is an understatement since I'm a clutz). It is carried with me and used often thoughout the day. I have no issues with the wifi and really have no complaints. I have not been cautious with the touchscreen and it is scratched in places (different from the lcd breaking) so I would advise anyone who is buying one to use a good screen protector from the beginning. Also, don't let the battery die because it will hard reset and you'll have to put all your programs back on. Best to back it up weekly or so using the backup utility it comes with and putting the backup on a storage card. Good luck with your purchase!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Balance of Size and Features
I have owned the iPAQ 4155 for 11 months now (after replacing a 3600 series) and have used it every day since.I can say that it has met or exceeded my expectations in nearly every way.The battery life exceeds 3 days of normal use for me (I haven't seen the battery below about 40 percent even after 3+ days of no charging). The wireless is fairly easy to setup to get on the internet, although I have not found this feature as useful as I thought.More complex wireless operations, like setting up a virtual desktop, are not as straight forward and the entire wireless configuration - asking weather a wireless connection is for "work" or "the internet" - could be simplified (what if it is both?) and have some bugs removed. That being said, I have rarely found the desire/need to get onto a wireless connection once the newness wore off. This may be different if you spend a lot of time at the airport, Starbucks, or other places w/wireless access. The LCD screen is bright and highly visible even in relatively bright light.I have not had a single problem with the LCD screen cracking (and I have owned at least 8 iPAQ's for employees) but I have been careful to protect mine with a metal case such as the one from Innopocket.(The included case does not go too far towards protecting the iPAQ.)Some sort of protective case is vital if you plan to take your iPAQ anywhere at all because the screen is fragile and leaning up against something with it in your pocket will surely crack it if it is not protected. (I have been surprised at the scratches, dings, and warping I have done to the metal case after walking around a jobsite for an hour with my iPAQ in my pocket - but NO damage to the device itself.)One final note: I have not had very much luck at all with "travel sync/chargers" I have purchased which intend to sync and charge the device simultaneously via USB.I have gone back to syncing via infrared (which is pretty straightforward) and charging with the supplied AC charger.
1-0 out of 5 stars lcd cracked
I advise you don't buy this model. I was given one by my company. I used it briefly, then carefully placed it in it's case in my desk drawer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Rock Solid
I bought my Palm Vx for six dollars at a thrift store a year ago and I've never had a problem with it. I own a IIIxe, an m500, and a Handspring Visor Deluxe, and the Vx and the Visor are my favorites. The 3.5.3 OS on the Vx seems to be rock solid-no crashes or freezes. The construction also is very solid. It was made in the USA, which I suspect is the reason for the high quality. Beware of PDA's made in China! The case on my m500 (made in China) became loose not long after I bought it and when I tried to tighten the screws they just stripped. I also get good battery life on the Vx, about a month per charge. With all the problems I read about concerning the latest generation of Palm PDA's, I can't help but think that Palm peaked with older models like the III series and the Vx. You really can't go wrong with the Vx, especially at today's prices. You'll have a reliable PDA with enough memory to add plenty of applications and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. Tip: if you want the Notepad app on your Vx (or older Palm), download Notes! 1.1 for free at palmgear.com.

2-0 out of 5 stars Crashed three times
I don't see why this item is getting good reviews. It's crashed three times, losing everything. Now the battery won't completely charge.I never could get it connected to the computer.Makes me wonder about Palm.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still worth it
In 2005, there are a lot of PDA called Pocket PC, but when you look at palm Vx, you will love it. You are able to put it in your suit or handbag and its glass screen provides you a crystal clear writing. I only need a PDA that take care my telephone list, my personal finance and bible reading. I don't need to listen MP3 or watching DVD on the road, and this palm just meet my need. You will love to carry it with you everywhere you go.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good memories but you can't go home again
I am on my 2nd Jornada 720; the first one I positively loved, but in the rush to upgrade (and free up some money) I sold it in 2003.
4-0 out of 5 stars Consider This Before Accepting Negative Reviews
The HP Jornada 720 (the final model of this line was the 728) is the finest, practical design mobile Handheld Computing device ever made. The Jornada rival is the NEC MobilePro 780-800 line. Both clamshell, mini-laptop looking, devices were high quality and expensive (average retail was over $1,000).
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent little machine
I bought my Jornada 720 three years ago on ebay for a fraction of the "new" price - and I love this machine. The best thing is instant startup (unlike any laptop, which takes forever to start), and of course its size and battery life (again longer than any laptop).I added a 64MB card, and use another Compact Flash card to store and transfer large files from and to my deskotop. ActiveSync works fine too, but it is slower.

Its 8 MB of RAM (four times the memory of the popular Palm IIIe) and 2 MB of flash ROM keep track of all your appointments, memos, to-do items, expense items, and e-mail, plus you can add thousands of third-party applications. Although the Palm IIIe and IIIx models have ample memory for many users, the Palm IIIxe better supports users who rely upon their organizer for data-heavy operations.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Might be nice if it worked
I ordered this from a reseller, cg_enterprises@tds.net. The unit arrived without a cradle to charge it. I emailed the reseller and was told it would be sent overnight. Four days later it has not arrived. When I contacted the reseller again, I received the following professional response: "Bite Me!".
5-0 out of 5 stars long time user..
I still use my palm IIIxe.. bought it in 2001 from Amazon.Actually this is my second one, my first one bit the dust, so I bought a refurb for $39.00 and it synced up with the 4.1 OS... it is great for addresses and calendar + todos... I also type memos with a keyboard when I'm in the field. Also this is used daily from am to pm... at night I dl avantgo and read news from the otherside of the world before bed...
4-0 out of 5 stars Quality But No Frills PDA
I just bought this PDA used from Amazon and I'm pretty pleased with it.It's not color which I don't care about, but I am having a bit of a hard time seeing the screen well.I have had a terrible time getting it to synch correctly with Outlook and I couldn't get it to synch at all with Palm Desktop 3.5.3.No clue what the problem is, but after 2 hours trying to figure it out, I just gave up.I use Outlook Express, not Outlook and it took a lot of trial and error, but I can get it to synch names and addresses, but I can NOT get email to work since i don't use Outlook as my default mail handler.So..if that fits your situation and you want to synch for email and download from AVantgo, then do not buy this. However, I just want it for names and addresses to replace an old trusty Sharp Wizard that they don't make anymore.I really loved my Sharp though. What i like about the Palm IIIxe is that it's battery-operated (2 AAAs)- i honestly don't even fathom why people complain about this feature - they're nuts. The battery operated PDAs are the way to go because they can last forever in your purse and you don't have to remember to charge it.If the battery is dead while you're on the go - just run to a convenience store and buy AAAs.That simple. The Palm IIIxe seems pretty sturdy, but we'll see in the long run.Either with Palm or Sharp, this beats carrying around a paper and pencil organizer. The person I bought from on Amazon was great and honest too. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Mine Died
My Tungsten T# just died.It is in a forzen state. It will not reboot or even turn off.It is just over a year old and I am now looking for a new PDA.

1-0 out of 5 stars Palm T3 disaster
I was about to write my miserable experience in agonizing detail, until I found that others have traveled the same path. It is a pity that a product that has come so far was (in my case, also) mercilessly deserted by its maker in the clinches - in this case a hotsync failure that eventually destroyed not only the data stored in the handheld but also the backups of those data that were religiously placed on the "official"
4-0 out of 5 stars Still a great PDA in (almost) 2006
If you're in the market for a PDA designed with the businessperson in mind, here are some reasons why you may still want to consider the T3 as we approach 2006:
