Cheaper crap
the other reviewer couldn't run much power through his splitter, but thought it might be ok for cell phone chargers, etc.
Cheap crap
There's nothing "universal" about this product.It'll split lightweight stuff like cell phones, but don't trust anything more demanding than that with this splitter.I hooked my laptop up through it and the fuse blew within one second.Sadly, I'd bought four of these since shipping cost as much as the item itself, and ALL FOUR died when I tried them with my laptop.The back of the package says not to use items that use over a total of 10amps, which seemed reasonable, so I got out my ammeter and figured out that my laptop used 6amps at most, so not only is this busted, but they lie on the package.I managed to open up the splitter and put in some more heavy duty wiring and a stronger fuse, and then it worked for a short time until I started smelling plastic melting -- it turns out even one of the springs inside couldn't handle 6amps and heated up enough to disfigure and melt plastic around it.I give this item two stars only because you might want to plug in two cell phones simultaneously.For anything else, beware! ... High priced but found cheaper
These remote sets work great but dont buy them new....I purchased one on eBay for 16 dollars.

Save your money!
Heavy, Short Battery Life, Rechargeable Batteries last a couple of months then need replacing. I do not recommend this product.

Surprisingly serious shortcomings
I work on a helpdesk where our employer purchased a set of CS10s (along with a set of older-style lifters for which I cannot find a model number) to allow us to move freely about the office while taking support calls. Excellent office tool.
I purchased this headset along with the Plantronics A20 headset amplifier/accessory deck and HL10 automatic handset lifter. Highly recommend this combination of products if you spend a lot of time on the phone.

This headset with mic is really supposed to be used in an office setting (you need an adapter to convert it to a miniplug).I wanted something to help me hear better on my home cordless phone.My hearing isn't what it used to be and with 4 kids and all the room noise that goes with them, I couldn't hear the conversations well.The headset cancels out a lot of the room noise and the sound quality is excellent. This is not a cheapy unit.When I received the headset, it didn't plug into my phone, so I called the customer service.They were extremely helpful and gave me options - told me exactly which adapter I needed for my purpose.I wish they would put that on the amazon add ;).Very happy with this and glad I bought it. ...
