Works Great - Very Loud
I recently purchased this little unit and it works very well.You are able to control both the volume and the tone so that you can remove any "hiss" from the higher frequencies.It is very loud when cranked up. It has a boost function which is even louder - but I haven't even needed to try it.The battery is voice activated to save energy.Runs on an ordinary 9v battery.The only thing I would have liked better is if it was the color black instead of white. ... awful sound
the sound (or lack of it - couldn't hear very well) was terrible.People I was talking to thought I was calling from an echo chamber.I took it to a friend's house to be sure it wasn't my phone or my telephone line but it was still very poorquality.Returned within days.

Poor Performance = BIG Disapointment
I was excited about this new product but my excitement was quickly dashed when I began using the product.It promised better performance than any corded or cordless phone but it did not deliver on either promise.Noticable static was constant regardless of how close I was to the receiver.People I was talking to also noticed the difference as they all thought the poor quality was the fault of their own phone, which I knew it was not because all problems disapeared once I switched to my regular home cordless phone.To make sure I did not get a bad phone, I went to the local electronics store and purchased another B100 BlueParrott headset identical to my first one, and it performed exactly the same.Both BlueParrott phone headsets were returned to the retailers and I returned to my earpiece and mini mic for those long phonecalls the make you ears bleed.

Good initially - things went wrong after a few months.
Given my previous experience with cellular Bluetooth headsets without significant microphone booms, I was very excited to see this headset available - especially because of it's integration with an office phone. The phone did not disappoint initially - as it seemed to perform well with my cell phone, and the base connected to my office phone. I did however notice that the volume on the cell phone was much louder (and clearer) than with the base connected to my office phone (this I was willing to deal with).

High quality earphone, microphone is anemic
Sounds come through great on this headset, but on both of two phones I tried the microphone's output volume was very weak (people would ALWAYS ask you to speak up, even with the microphone right in front of your lips).Perhaps I got a bad unit, but this ones going back to the store.I wish it had worked out!

Poor Product from Sony
This headset that I purchased broke within a week, and before it completely stopped working, people on the other line were complaining of an echo in the headset. The tube mic is not that great either. It is very flexible like they say, but it doesnt look right when people wear it. However, on a positive note the earpiece is very comfortable and has a clear sound.

Good headset; I'll buy more
I overpaid for another Panasonic headset that turned out to be unusable (inaudible on both sides), so I was worried about buying another. But the price for this one was so low, I had little to lose. As it turns out, this headset sounds great. Whether or not it turns out to be durable, the sound's exactly what I need, and if I reorder I'll stock up on a few. What a relief to be able to go hands-free again and hear the other party just fine.

You get what you pay for
I bought this Energizer battery about 3 months ago for my Motorola Ma361. I though that being a Ni-MHD battery it would last longer than the Ni-Cad it had before but I was wrong. My phone already signals a low battery & I haven't had it longer than 6 months. I even switched it to my other phone which uses the same cell battery & got the same results. I could probably send it back as a faulty battery but it doesn't seem worth the hassle. For better quality, stick to a higher end cordless battery.

This Model cannot fit GE 25825GE3 cordless phone
I bought a ER-P240 battery for my GE 5.8GHZ cordless phone, but it can not fit in the battery compartment. The package claim that it can use with GE 25825GE3 model, but actually it is too big to fit the GE 25825GE3 handset. The battery for GE 25825GE3 is more slim and thinner,and a little longer than ER-P240.

Convenient, Easy to Carry
I've had one of these for the past several years, using it on and off when wireless wasn't an option.It has served me well and I really like how compact and convenient it is to use.I find the build sufficient but nothing that couldn't be destroyed with a hard knock.When using it, one has to be sure that the cable isn't recoiling all twisted or else that would damage the auto-retract.I haven't had a problem with the retraction yet.I don't use the telephone adapter too often but in the rare cases that I needed it, I was very happy to have this product on hand.It saves me from carrying an extra cable and the telephone cable is sufficient for times when Ethernet isn't an option.The only thing I would want more from this product is a longer cable but I don't know how that would affect the size of the product.6' is sufficient for most situations but I wouldn't mind an extra 4' or more.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to carry around a phone/ethernet cable without the bulk/inconvenience of carrying the regular cables.It is functional and understand that it isn't built like a tank and it'll serve you well as it has for me.

Does not retract
Agree with the prior reviewers.I can not get it to retract any longer and that was only after 3 uses!
