5-0 out of 5 stars I waited to review this...
...until some time had passed, based on others' original good first impressions deteriorating after a bit of time, because of breakage, annoyance, problems with resetting and reception, etc.Well, I have had the remote for over two months now and I think it's (still) just great.I love the radio option and the remote lets me stash the Pod safely in my bag on my commute.Only relative negative I've noted is having to retrieve said safely stowed Pod to switch between radio and hard drive access modes, which, for the most part, is no big deal.I do wish the iPods originally came with installed radio access, such as can be found on the Creative Zen Micro (my previous player), but this radio/remote helps fill in that gap.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice radio; too much cord!
I agree with the reviewers who wrote that the radio is very nice, but that it adds too much cord! Best would be a built in FM radio. But, failing that, why not a radio that plugs in directly to the iPod with a jack for headphones? Or, ideally, give consumers a choice of cord or plug-in!This extra length of cord pretty much subverts the compact neatness of my Nano, and because I like a radio when I travel I'll probably continue to use my MP3 player when traveling!Too bad!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Overall, a little pricey though
It works great with the Ipod nano, to start out with. It's nice that it comes with a new pair of headphones, as my old ones had gotten worn. I hardly use the radio feature, but it's nice to have, plus absolutely seemless, like true mac stuff always is. The best feature (which never mentioned) is if you snag it, it breaks apart! Now that sounds bad, but it does it so a simple click puts it back together with no wires to break as everything is just on one side (and when put on pants or something, you'll snag anything), so it's tough as well. Fro 45ish dollars, a little much, but it's the best option to get for a ipod that supports it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars nice set
really nice speakers. decent sound.. good enough for a dorm room. compact size, very user friendly. i would recomend them to everyone who wants a decent set of speakers for a good price.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fine for the money IF you know what you're getting!
This is a fine product for the money.Be aware, though, that there is no battery power option; it works on AC only. The sound I would rate a B -- don't expect very high quality or deep bass response (It's far better than my dinky computer speakers, at least.)The remote worked fine;all functions responded up to 10 feet away which is as far as I've sat from the unit. The instructions are typical overseas-translation awful; you have to figure out how to work this one yourself, which is not a problem since the operation is simple.(The mysterious plastic shield is meant to be used as a support for the ipod or nano once it's inserted into the dock.)All in all, I'm happy I can play my ipod on a reasonably good sounding unit, but will probably spring for a second-generation operator that offers battery power and better speakers.

3-0 out of 5 stars O.K. sound, remote control functions erratic
Picked this up for $39.95 locally.Sound is o.k., but nobody will confuse it for a decent sound system.Sounds like a fair-to-good clock radio. It is a convenient docking station that also charges the unit.It has an auxiliary input and a video output jack on the back.

Editorial Review

These Street Style headphones employ the comfortable and stable behind-the-neck design. They have a non-slip design, making them ideal for exercise or for a walk to the corner market. To encourage safe night-time activities, the MDR-G57Gs come with a reflective ear piece. They are also water-resistant, completing the necessary checklist for full-function sports headphones. The behind-the-neck style is also appropriate for urban and casual wear; remember that with this style you can wear a hat while wearing the headphones. The MDR-G57Gs were designed for extended wear, and, weighing in at under two ounces, you may indeed forget you are wearing headphones. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Product has improved
I purchased these head phones about 3 months ago and I would agree with all the reviews. You can't listen to the head phones for more than 30 mins with out pain in the back of your ears.
3-0 out of 5 stars They hurt your ears after prolonged wear
These earphones are ok.I have a real problem with the earbud earphones falling out of my ears so i had to go with a set of these that clip on.I wear them while working out and they stay on.But after about 1/2 an hour, they do start to hurt your ears.I'm not sure what exactly causes the pain.I just know that about 1/2 hour into my workout, i have to take them off and rest my ears.

4-0 out of 5 stars Foam replacement
I've owned these headphones for years. The foam pads have needed to be changed for quite some time, but I never knew where to get replacement foam pads. The sound quality on these headphones is still good so I didn't want to get rid of them.I looked online for replacement headphones and found they charge $15.95 a piece or as little as $2.95, plus shipping.I suggest you check your local dollar store for cheapy knock off headphones that look like the style of the Sony Headphones and take the foam pads off of them.Worked for me.

1-0 out of 5 stars not worth it
I didn't expect that noise-cancelling thing to be as big as a flash drive MP3 player!! The unit was so big when my friend saw it she thought I had gotten another mp3 player or had bought it for someone else because i had one already.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality for the price
My iPod earbuds, as they are prone to do, have decided to enter their slow decline into uselessness, having introduced a grating buzz to the right earpiece. So I came to Amazon to find a replacement, and was quite surprised to find these, boasted as "noise-cancelling" earbuds for a mere $15.I was somewhat skeptical, especially from reading some of the reviews, but figured that in the end it couldn't be worse than my dying iPod buds.
3-0 out of 5 stars its okay
i bought these headpones because i wanted some inear headphones they stay in pretty well the noise canceling thing is pretty pointless it only makes it a little louder and is kinda big but for pleople like me with small ears these work they stay in and fit quite well not like the stupid ipod headphones. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars good deal
I bought this camera not expecting much because it is the lowest camera in sony's hard drive camera line. I love the zoom and the picture quality outside. Inside the quality of the picture is really grainy in low light conditions. The camera is really compact and light which makes it easy to handle and cary. I bought this camera for my wife after looking at cameras for 2 months and trying to decide weather we really needed a high end camera. She wanted the camera for taping our son who is just learning how to walk. She loves it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good camcorder if you are not serious about editing your footage
This camcorder does capture good video. But the main drawback is that it records in MPEG2 format (DVD quality). Initially its nice and easy to capture video and watch it on your computer by downloading the files using the USB 2.0 connection. It gives you instant gratification. But after capturing 4 or 5 hours of video, you will notice that your videos aren't so great as you expect it to be. Its not the fault with your camcorder. Its because all of us shoot extra footage, unwanted scenes, shakes, etc which we want to edit. You may want to add a title or two, add transitions, add backgroud music, combine your photos with the video, etc. Basically you may want to edit your footage. Its here when you find the major drawback of this camcorder. The MPEG2 quality video is not good for editing. The video quality is so compressed that you won't have sufficient bandwidth to edit the video.
4-0 out of 5 stars A Good Start
It's interesting how people will give this a really crappy review based upon one feature, or upon the fact that they didn't RTFM before making a purchase (or at least make an educated purchase).

4-0 out of 5 stars Does the job
Bought these cables to go with the new HDTV and the upconverting dvd player we recently bought. There was one particular movie that was suppose to look like amateur video, and if it weren't for the HDMI cable, it was very hard to see. Based on this, I would recommend this product especially for the price, it works.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent HDMI cable
Why pay a lot for Monster Cable, when this cable works just fine.

5-0 out of 5 stars i was skeptical...
first off, i was wary of purchasing this cable because of the very name: "cables to go." then, i was wary because of the cheap price. but after reading other reviews saying that insane cable shielding doesn't really matter since it's all digital, and seeing the outrageous prices of Monster Cables, I was more than willing to try this cable.

5-0 out of 5 stars Creative Earphones EP-630
These earphones are excellent quality. Noise that gets in from outside is so low that I can barely hear what someone next to me is telling me. In addition, the frequency response and quality of the sound is comparable to the much larger and bulkier insulated headphones.
5-0 out of 5 stars EP630-Awesome Value
I bought these as an upgrade to the Sennheiser earphones that came with my iRiver 1/2 gig player. The stock 'phones were quite good, but did not fit my ear well. They kept falling out (annoying). The EP630 sounds even better and stay put very well. They do need to be put into the ear snugly to bring out good bass response and to shut out exterior noise. Selecting the proper size cushions (3 provided) will ensure this. They do require a good seal against your ear. They sound very, very good and I'm pickey (I'm a musician). I cannot imagine spending more money when these perform as well as they do! At under $30, they are a bargain. Don't hesitate to buy them. You won't be disappointed!

3-0 out of 5 stars awesome sound, not so great usability
Good news first. Compared to any "open-air" earphones, these sounds fabulous. Very clear bass with pleasant mids and highs. I'm no audiophile, but I find these to produce extremely, extremely pleasing sounds. Now the bad news. I haven't tried any other "in-ear" earphones, but I'm sure most have this problem to some degree. The cord-noise, which comes from the cord hitting your shirt, the wind, itself, etc. is extremely annoying. If you're just using these sitting around, go for it, no question. But I find that walking around with these babies in can be not so fun, way counteracting the sublime sound they produce. (Mine have the right side longer than the left, as some Sony's are made. Not sure if this is true for all.) I have found wearing the right side behind my neck greatly reduces the cord noise. (Almost completely in the right side, and a little better in the left.) And putting the cord over your ear helps, too, but it just looks so dorky. And, of course, any noise created inside your body (eating, walking thumps, etc.) you hear amplified due to your ear canal being plugged. But I found that I got used to that real quick. If they didn't have the terrible cord noises it'd be a 5-star hands down. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Confining to the ears, flat sound
I decided to move away from in-ear headphones (Sony MDR-EX71SL) for two reasons:1)The in-ear headphones pop out of my ears with the slightest accidental tug on the cord, e.g. crossing my arms, reaching for my coffee cup, etc.2)I wasn't getting as much noise reduction from the in-ear headphones as I wanted.I work at home, and we have a fussy baby, and older daughters who practice piano a lot.I also have three computers with noisy fans in my office.
3-0 out of 5 stars Good price
This headphone does canceled some of the noise. I know all of the noise canceling headphones will not canceled 100% of the surrounding noise, and I did't expect too much on this headphone. This headphone only canceled about 10-20% of the surrounding noise, and it just not what I expected. I returned this head phone the next day.

4-0 out of 5 stars A very good alternative to Bose
I tried my friends pair of Bose QC3 and fell in love with them, although I could never justify spending that much on a pair of earphones! Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME PRODUCT
I've been using Memorex DVD-R for almost a year now and I should say this product is awesome!I never had a bad DVD, unlike other blank DVD which I usually get error during write or sometimes won't play on my Toshiba player.I have an HP DVD writer. It cost a little more compared to other brands but since I'm not wasting any of it due to bad write, it actually ended being cheaper. And with this price from Amazon...it makes it even better.

5-0 out of 5 stars CHEAP SOLUTION BUT COST VARIES WILDLY
I purchased a pack of these memorex sleeves or a memorex version very similar to these at Circuit City without first looking at the price. I was astounished to be charged 7.99 plus tax. I purchased the same sleeves at Walmart later the same day for 2.99. Ciruit City has great prices on many things (particularly electronics) but these miscellaneous items can be waaaay overpriced. (Same is true of many items at Office Max). I am not aware of dvd or cd sleeves that are cheaper than these memorex sleeves (when purchased from Walmart or a simlar discounter at least) and they get the job done. These sleeves are fairly light paper but not nearly as light as the open-ended sleeve in which a netflix or blockbuster dvd is stored in. These sleeves do have a flap so the entire cd or dvd is protected.

5-0 out of 5 stars These Are Very Handy - Very Practical!
These are simply envelopes for your cds and dvds. Can't say anything else about them - except this - I noticed when I opened the box they came in 'my' sleeves were wrapped tightly with a rubber band which caused them to be somewhat crumpled upon removing the rubber band. It did not really affect them adversely, but just be aware that yours may come this way also.

5-0 out of 5 stars CD Sleeves that work well
Well, what can I say? They are CD Sleeves, they are all basically the same. These come in a 50 pack box and have a hole in the back to put a flap in to hold it down, this comes in handy if you are mailing the disks in these CD Sleeves. The Window Cut-Out is good because you can easily see what is on the disk, of course, all CD Sleeves have this.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Worked at first but....
I bought this item about two months ago and was happy as can be. No more equipment in the tv room! About two weeks ago though, I noticed that the unit was slower and slower and I had to hit buttons repeatedly to get things done. It has eventually gotten to the point that it does not work at all. At first I thought it was batteries in the remote, so I replaced those a few times. Then I thought the placement of the IR transmitter was off, so I moved it closer to my AV rack. That worked at first, but the problem persisted so I reprogrammed, but to no avail. Eventually I narrowed it down to the remote unit. Even with the remote RIGHT NEXT TO THE IR Transmitter, it now does not work most of the time. Of course the real problem now is that all my av stuff is in a different room, so standard IR remotes (why do they even make those still????) are out of the question. I will be moving onto something else and keep my fingers crossed.
3-0 out of 5 stars Good Cheap Remote
This remote fills a very small niche and does it well.Inexpensive RF remotes are hard to come by and this one is very fully featured.RF+learning+macros for $30? Wow!I plan on getting a few to control an mp3 player and amplifier in the basement for my whole-house audio system.

4-0 out of 5 stars SanDisk Silicone Case
Not a bad case for the product. You may have to concentrate on the buttons that you need to move around but it does protect the case very well.

3-0 out of 5 stars What choice do you have?
I bought the white case, because it was all the store had in stock.I might buy another color later on. The case is well made, and the plastic clip is sturdy and I hope it proves to be reliable. Far better than the cheap little plastic thing that came with the player. I definately recommend paying for the better case. Here's hoping SanDisk makes more colors! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Buy!
I use these in my new SONY 405, and they are great. The camera reminds you to use SONY discs, but despite the fact that I am a big SONY fan for the most part, their discs are expensive. These are a great buy thru Amazon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally half price for 1.4 gig camcorder disks, don't need finalizing!
$1.50 disks!!Yeah!!! and the cure to bad mini-dvd disks is +RW

2-0 out of 5 stars died in less than 9 months
nothing amazing as far as a remote control. The macro's are nice, but can be lived without. It was a solid remote for 8 months or so, then buttons started failing one by one until it was impossible to use, and I had to buy a new one. Buyer, beware! one-for-all only offers 90 days limited warranty!

5-0 out of 5 stars It's amazing
Our Satelite reciever/TiVo remote was dying and a replacement was $65!! This remote worked in 2 minutes and I was even able to program a couple of TiVo functions that weren't automatically in the remote. Simple, functional and reasonably priced. How can you beat that?

2-0 out of 5 stars Can program almost everything....but sucks (batteries)
I was happy to get this remote and was able to program this to replace the 7 I was switching between. The learning feature was great and easy if you follow instructions. However, it has completely drained 2 new sets of batteries on me.I'm getting an avg of 3 days for a new set of batts before it doesn't send the full signal and flashes "Low Battery".They were both brand new sets purchased that day.I even changed between Duracell and Energizer.Hmmmm...Also, it is quite large and having the DVR/Tivo/PVR controls on the bottom and toggles on the top can often require 2 hand remoting. It can save space but it's not the most convenient piece of electronics.I'm calling tech support this week to see if I just have a bad unit.I'd rather just get my $25 back. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars It's fine for the office, but forget about plane travel
This seems to be a moderately well made brief case on wheels (the extending handle doesn't extend easily, and it seems flimsy relative to the weight of the rest of the unit). The main problem: since this looks like it's meant to be used on a plane, I'd expect it to fit under a seat. It doesn't. It's too thick. And a bit wide.So I would recommend you make some other choic if this is to be used as a carry-on, underseat briefcase(as opposed to the overhead bin, where it does fit - although I bet not in a regional jet. I'll see soon).

5-0 out of 5 stars Look no Further!
My case is now 4 months old and looks new. Lots of space. Telescoping handle is nice and long. Wheels are spaced apart nicely - case wont tip. Great zippers. This is an all around great case.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny
This bag is very sturdy, well made and expertly designed. Initially I balked at spending this much on a bag, but this one truly is worth the price. The multiple compartments can hold a large amount of material in a very tidy and organized way. The removable laptop tote is the icing on the cake. Spare your spine. You won't regret it. ...
