died in less than 9 months
nothing amazing as far as a remote control. The macro's are nice, but can be lived without. It was a solid remote for 8 months or so, then buttons started failing one by one until it was impossible to use, and I had to buy a new one. Buyer, beware! one-for-all only offers 90 days limited warranty!

It's amazing
Our Satelite reciever/TiVo remote was dying and a replacement was $65!! This remote worked in 2 minutes and I was even able to program a couple of TiVo functions that weren't automatically in the remote. Simple, functional and reasonably priced.How can you beat that?

Can program almost everything....but sucks (batteries)
I was happy to get this remote and was able to program this to replace the 7 I was switching between.The learning feature was great and easy if you follow instructions.However, it has completely drained 2 new sets of batteries on me.I'm getting an avg of 3 days for a new set of batts before it doesn't send the full signal and flashes "Low Battery".They were both brand new sets purchased that day.I even changed between Duracell and Energizer.Hmmmm...Also, it is quite large and having the DVR/Tivo/PVR controls on the bottom and toggles on the top can often require 2 hand remoting.It can save space but it's not the most convenient piece of electronics.I'm calling tech support this week to see if I just have a bad unit.I'd rather just get my $25 back. ... Power in a pinch
After researching a number of emergency preparedness devices including rechargeable/regenerating flashlights, radios and power sources we purchased this one and we're very happy with the decision.It appears to be well made and durable.
Less useful, but easier to maintain than a generator.
After spending my vacation in Florida during hurricane Wilma, I learned the value of being prepared for a prolonged power outage. This unit would have been just the thing.

Super buy - but consider the longer alternative...
Great buy, especially given that retailers tend to sell these at full retail prices (typical impulse purchase when you get a new printer etc.)
Cheap But Works Great
This Tripp Lite USB 2.0 Cable USBa to USBb with gold Connectors is a fine cable and not cheaply constructed at all. The best buy for your money and works great. Why pay more ? I compared it to cables I have that I have paid double the price and this one looks much better and when you put on your Amazon 37% off goggles on you can not tell the difference my frugal friend. Order from Target and get the better price . I paid a whole 1.35 more just to get it a little sooner with the Prime shipping but if you look to the right of the screen there is an option to order it from Target for 4.99.Either way the price is great.

I'll be moving my stereo to the basement
In the spirit of full disclosure, I have to confess that I'm not an audiophile. I'm a music fan, and I'm definitely not the type to be more into his stereo than the music he plays on it.
Happily surprised
I recently purchased the Apple Hi-Fi Stereo inorder to have high quality sound for vacations, outdoor picnics and special events.We ended up using this system as the sole house music system for our children during a move. The quality of sound, the volume available and the ease of use were amazing and well beyond what I expected in this "portable" system.I would highly recommend it. On my wish list, I would like to see a black version and a padded travel case for protection and ease of traveling.

Not so Good.Latency is another problem
Besides the drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, it also has quite a bit of latency.If just listening to music, it wouldn't matter.I wanted to use itwith my guitar, plugging it into the processing unit.The problem is that there is a second or two delay between playing a note and hearing it in this wireless headphone.Also, the charging lights didn't work at all.

These are great for road trips, T.V., and other stuff. whaen i was getting them i wanted to know how big the transmitter is. it's small. it comes with a plastic thing so the transmitter dosen't hang; wich is the only time when the quality is not so good. it also comes with a elastick/velcro band to keep it from hanging. the charger has a V spliter so you can charg the headphones & the transmitter at the same time. this all fits in a carrying pack that comes with it. at full charg it lasts the same as my ipod. the ears are not to big. Very comfortable to wear for extended calls, and the sound quality from the earpiece is quite good.I have had complaints with my voice being muffled or too quiet, but usually only when the user on the other end is on a speakerphone.I'm on bedrest during a pregnancy so I'm working from home and I needed something to free up my hands so I can work on my lap top while attending con calls.This headset is certainly worth the money I paid, and the flexible boom helps amplify my voice somewhat.

Monster Cables are Very Very Good
I bought various monster cables and they work great. Most important is a monster S video cable for the cable box or satellite box for viewing regular TV. (Only HDTV boxes have component cables on them) A HDTV is not worth it to me just yet. The Monster Video® 2/Interlink® 250 A/V Connection Kit (S-Video) is great and it costs as much as 2 cases of beer and lasts for years. Prestine picture quality on 35 inch sets and below. For bigger sets get a Monster Super Video(tm) 3/Interlink® 400 MkII Advanced S-Video A/V Kit. You will thank yourself. Costs as much as a dinner for 2 but lasts for years.

Before I owned this cable I was disappointed with the quality of picture that I was seeing on my HDTV. Though I wasn't very positive about it I decided to go ahead and buy this cable. The picture quality changed by a significant amount! Much better than my cable company supplied cable.

Just a bigger version of the sync adapter, but useful enough
I bought this just so I could watch my videos on my ZVM while it's in a standing position. I just found out that you can insert the unit even if it's wearing the Flexiskin(if you have one). You just have to detach the protective cover at the top. But overall, very useful for synching and charging, and convenient when watching videos. If you don't want to enjoy the convenience of watching the videos in an upright position, then the sync adapter included would just be enough.

I give it three stars because it works, and it probably will be conveinient to some, but for me it just isn't worth the money.I bought it at the same time I bought the zen vision m (they came in the same shipment).But, I also but a flexiskin case for my player too.This caused the player to be too thick to fit into the docking station, therefore, every time I want to dock it, I have to take the case off.That's a total pain, and I don't want to risk scratching my player, so I usually end up just using the charger and cable that came with the player.So, if you don't have your player in a case, this thing will be good for you, but if you've got yours in a case, its a real pain to use. ... Dynamics way beyond the ER-6:incredible performance for the money - if you use it correctly.
I'm on record with a total rave of Etymotic's ER-6 headphones - but the ER-4P is vastly more satisfying.The difference is bass (the most immediately obvious difference).The ER-4p has phenominal bass for headphones - probably state of the art in this reguard.But what makes the ER-4p really special is its amazing dynamics.The soundstage is huge, and sonic textures leap out of velvet silence.It's hard to characterize superb dynamics.Music sounds "bigger".Quiet passages have more presence - and louder passages have more inner detail.Another strength of the ER-4p is that the extra bass energy allows the vibrant treble detail to sound balanced - not strident or analytical (as the ER-6 can sometimes sound).Between the dynamics and the bass, the ER-4p ends up sounding more musical and alive than the ER-6 (and thus virtually every other earphone).There is a touch of mid-bass ripeness - sometimes deep voices like Mark Knopfler sound a little chesty.There's also a downside the huge dynamics - sometimes a touch of congestion can creep in during crescendo peaks.The flip side of this is that quiet passages can have enormous presence and emotional power.Small scale accoustic stuff and female vocalists shine and have amazing presence.Nora Jones, for example, has never sounded better.Big rock doesn't suffer either.The fantastic treble detail and huge deep bass makes both classical and rock really slam.These really are amazing phones.
My Favorite Non-Custom IEM
First off, all the reviewers before me mentioning correct insertion are correct. These things demand a deep fit within the ear canal (espeically for the triflanges) for them to sound properly.
ER-4P - Must be inserted correctly
I just read a review by someone named Laura.If these ER-4P's sounded the same as "earbuds" then you simply did not have them placed in your ears correctly.They MUST BE INSERTED deep into your ears to work correctly.I had a friend who COULD NOT, under any circumstances, use these earphones because she simply did not have the ability to insert them correctly into her ears.She would "put them in", then just stand there while they "just fell out".If you have them in correctly, they CAN NOT just fall out.In fact, it takes some effort to get them out.Once you are able to insert these earphones, CORRECTLY into your ears, the audio that you hear will simply amaze you and you will never settle for anything less.If you are attempting to use the foam inserts, twist them first to make them skinny.If you are attempting to use the rubber tips, wet them first (not with your mouth unless you like ear infections).

This Antenna works better as a non powered antenna then a powered. I had to return mine after a few times moving it around the crimp on the wire gave out and it feel apart. there are better cheaper Antenna you are not getting what you are paying for.

This is a WINEGARD SS-3000. If Terk actually sells this, all they do is mark it up.
I purchased the Winegard Sharpshooter antenna as a somewhat-last-resort for digital TV reception. I had tried a number of amplified antennas, and most of them did virtually nothing or were spotty at best.
It works
I had a Terk indoor/outdoor antenna installed previously. It pulled in most of the available HD channels, but not all of them.I put it in my attic and got the same performance.I set this one up in my living room and it pulls in all of them.And the closer it is to a window the better it works.It's an eye soar sitting here though.I want to see how it works in the attic, but haven't gotten around to getting up there in the summer heat.Since it pulls in signals through windows I don't know if it will work well behind a roof.It's too unsightly in the living room, so if it doesn't work in a hidden spot, I won't continue to use it. ... Phonex Jack Caught On Fire
This Phonex PX-441 wireless jack system caught on fire.Thank goodness the fuse box detected the heat and cut the electricity.It functioned fine during the prior year and a half (I was using it for TIVO dial up).This summer, we had a heat wave in Chicago where everyone was being warned to minimize electrical use.I had a window-unit air conditioner and the jack on the same circuit, but plugged into different outlets.This jack was plugged into the primary outlet.The air conditioner was turned on and my electrician friends (who did the forensic work) believe the sudden power need for this circuit resulted in the jack overloading and catching fire.The jack was definately on fire and essentially melted into the outlet plate with smoke residue 5 inches above outlet.I am trying a different wireless phone jack brand (once bitten, twice shy).I am also going to plug this into a power strip as an extra precaution.

I can understand people being frustrated if this item was purchased for a modem.There is nothing on the box that states the baud restriction.However, for a fax or phone system it works great.Open the box.Plug the one with two RJ-11 jacks in by your phone plug and plug in the RJ-11 cord.Plug the other one where you want your jack and plug in the RJ-ii cordAt this point you will have dial tone.The almost new house we purchased was built by peple who were running out of money.Solid construction, no landscaping and no cable/voice jacks.I plan on buying another one of these. ... Great hardware crippled by dreadful software
I've had my RM-AX4000 for about six months.The good news is that the hardware is every bit as good as the prior reviews say it is.
Patience during setup really pays off
This remote does its job well. I had eight remotes to control the gear in my living room, and this thing took the place of all of them. I no longer lose them in the couch or forget where I put them last...and it no longer takes me five minutes to set up just to watch a movie or listen to music. Macros allow one button press to turn on (or off) all required equipment and set them to the correct mode. The backlight is pleasant, I like the audio feedback of button presses, and the sheer size of the thing feels good in my hands and prevents misplacement.
Looks Better Than It Works
I was looking for an all-in-one remote.One that I could program most of the functions of each of my remotes onto this one.Well it doesn't quite do it.Also, it doesn't seem to have the remote code for my Mitsubishi 80" Diamond Vision HD Rear Projection TV.I do like the ability to program the device on my PC, save the programing on a file on my PC, then program the remote by plugging in a USB cable into my PC to download the program into the remote.You have to use the button image that they provide on the LCD and you can't create unique button images that match the button on the remote that I am trying to replace.It does have a one button feature to turn on all components and set all components (TV, Cable Box, DVD Player, Home Theater Sound System, etc.) which my wife loves, but it is not easy to program. Trying to program it to change my TV input from Cable Box to DVD player is challenging as you don't really know where the starting input will be.They should have designed it to return the TV input to a default starting location.Why didn't they think of this.If they had taken one home and used it themselves, they would have fixed all of it's short comings.All in all, Sony could have done alot better in designing this unit, but then again, I can't seem to find a remote that works better. ... Terk HDTVO antenna from antonline
I live approx. 80 miles from the HD signal being sent here in Michigan and I put the antenna in a tree about 30 feet.The HD signal is crystal clear and I ended up with about six or seven High Def. signals that I could receive.There are other High Def. signals but the meter scale was to low maybe in the future they will add more HD channels?I was going to purchase a HD antenna that was rated the best but it was only UHF and I wanted one that was both UHF and VHF and the Terk HDTVO was.They also have an inside antenna that is numbered HDTVA.
Now I can record Star Trek in HD!
I wanted a way to record the new HD Star Trek Broadcasts in HD (they air at 3:00am on Sunday in NY).The standard antenna that came with my ATI HDTV card couldn't pull in NBC, so I bought this Terk HD antenna.I tested the antenna outside in the yard and it worked great, pulling in all the NYC HD stations from 45 miles away.I now have the antenna mounted in the attic, and it's still pulling in all the stations even through the roof.I use Beyond TV on my PC and now I have an HD PVR!

I did extensive research on the web before I decided on this antenna. It is rated blue. Based on the information from antennaweb, the stations in my area are all about 40 miles away and require a blue rated antenna. Most of the reviewers liked it too.

These were exactly as advertised and delivery was quick. They're better than kids. They did exactly as I asked. By the way, they're best served without the milk and sugar, but it's a good buy from a good distributor at a good price. Thumbs up.
