5-0 out of 5 stars Microsoft Strikes Back

5-0 out of 5 stars Probably the best wired optical mouse
This mouse is great for gamers. It's original version was very, very good with perfect response, nicely tactile buttons in perfect positions and light weight. The new version is as good as the original in most ways and adds several great features to an already wonderful design.First, the new electronics inside this mouse triple the accuracy with 9000 samples per second (compared to the originals very respectable 3000).It moves even better because Microsoft changed the feet on the bottom to a very slick material and used a thinner, more flexible wire.I know these sound like little things, but they actually do make the mouse "feel" nicer.Speaking of feel, the mouse is now covered in a soft, rubbery material. One of the few gripes I had with the original was the cheap plastic construction, corrected very elegantly in this new iteration.
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prior to MS re-releasing this mouse I had been searching for the older x08 model online via eBay.I saw them going for $100+ sometimes for a brand new one!I had almost given up since the Laser 6000 mouse was such a flop.I was so ecstatic when they said they were going to re-release it.I saw it available a week or two ago and I bought four.Once I purchased it the next time I saw that it had been changed to pre-order.I thought that was strange but I actually received it in two days. It's the same exact mouse from prior years except for the color change. The buttons feel the same, the mouse acts the same, everything is pretty much the same.Yes, the scroll wheel has dedents so that you can know if you're switching just to the next weapon or whatever.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good value-priced earbuds
I bought two of these, thinking one for each ear. Nah...just kidding. I bought one for me and one for my wife. We're old folks--over 100 years old. Well, collectively, we're over a hundred. And that means the cartilage in our ears has begun to change shape and gets sensitive to foreign matter making a home inside our outer ear canals. I bought these because my wife was complaining about discomfort with a whole variety of buds. She says these seem to be the softest and most malleable for the price. Now, they're not malleable like form-fitting spongy earplugs, mind you, but they are a bit softer than the average and give way at least a little bit to the form of the ear. I haven't tried mine yet, but if her sensitive ears like it, I'm sure I will, too. I'll let you know if they don't make the cut. So far, excellent results for the price.

4-0 out of 5 stars Comfort & Quality !
First - to the person who complained that these are not 'gummy' like gummy bears, this is true, but they ARE covered in soft silicon rubber which makes them stay put better, much like the silicon nose pieces on glasses.Next - yes, they are loud, but for true music lovers (50+ like me) who aren't listening to the current hip-hop noise & trying to go deaf, they can be made quieter by turning your volume down on whatever you have them plugged in to.The sound quality immediately impressed me.For this price, you really can't get anything else even similar !!My immediate response was, "Wow !"I listen to quiet classical & similar quiet music in bed at night when I am reading. It is important to me to be able to hear ALL the notes - from treble frequencies to bass frequencies - clearly, but not loudly. These do that very well.I am very pleased !!(The colors are cute & will please the teens. I bought blue because they matched my CD player best, but white or black would have been fine.)Don't hesistate to give these a try !

5-0 out of 5 stars These are great
These are without a doubt the best earbuds I have yet to find. The sound quality is excellent, and they are very comfortable in my ears. This says a lot, since those of us with small ears know how uncomfortable earbuds can be. I use these all the time... at my computer, while exercising, and listening to my stereo or television. I have yet to be disappointed. I highly recommend these. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding product!
This product is the best on the market (ok, I only have 8 others to compare it to), was easy to install, flawless in performance, and so far I've burned about 500 DVDs with no coasters! The Plextools software helps you with other drives as well.Highly recommended for anyone (tech or non-tech).

5-0 out of 5 stars DVD Drive Excellent
The drive was very easy to install. It works excellent in DVD-R or CD-R mode.No coasters produced. The one drawback is software. If you do not have a full product of Roxio or Ulead, you will not take advantage of drive.

5-0 out of 5 stars Moving On Up!
It was a sad day.It all started when first Battlefield 2 would not load properly. Then movies would not play. Then the drive just simply stopped functioning. It was a sad day, but after burning 2000 (yes, that's right two THOUSAND) CDs on my last Plextor the PX-716A finally spun its last. The love affair was over oh so soon. **sigh**

5-0 out of 5 stars Great product!Still v32 NOT v33
Received mine October 2nd and it is v32 instead of the v33.This charger requires that you read the manual but it is worth the effort.Prbabaly the best feature of this charger is its ability to discharge the battery first. This eliminates the "memory effect" that plagues most NiCad batteries. The second nicest feature is the ability to refresh your batteries wherein the charger discharges and recharges the battery until it has been "refreshed" to its greatest capacity and then displays the refreshed battery's actual measured capacity!
1-0 out of 5 stars BC-900 fries
I've had a BC-900 for a little over a year.I love its capabilities. It was a 5 star until now.I don't know what version it is, it is not shown on the unit itself. Two weeks ago it completely fried a set of 4 AA NiMH.They were bubbling hot.The BC-900 is melted in the center section.Scary.Seemed close to being on fire or exploding the batteries.I'd like to get another one but the fire hazard is scaring me away.BTW, I called LaCrosse Tech Support and the woman I talked with said she was not aware of any such problems with it. Huh???

2-0 out of 5 stars Amazon ships old version 32
I just received my charger yesterday - it's version 32 which has been reported to suffer from overheating problems, with some risks of fire hazards.

4-0 out of 5 stars Thin, Light, and HOT
I purchased this adapter to replace all of the chargers i was carrying while traveling. In short it works great and saves me about half a pound. Not to mention I can now power all my stuff from a car or plane, which has already come in handy on several occasions. I replaced my Dell D600 power brick with this one and I like the way the thin form factor packs easier. This thing even provides enough juice that I can charge my laptop, cell phone, and iPod simultaneously (using the dual device cable and iPod plugged into laptop USB port).
1-0 out of 5 stars Six months and no Thinkpad tip? Completely unsatisfactory!
I bought one of these a few months ago. It worked perfectly with my old Thinkpad, but not long thereafter I got a Thinkpad T60, thinking, "Hey, universal means universal, of course it will work". But no: SIX MONTHS after the T60 was introduced, Kensington STILL hasn't gotten their act together to produce a "SmartTip" for it. They haven't even added Lenovo to the list of manufacturers on their web site! All Customer Service can say is that they don't have one, they don't know when or if they ever will, and they suggest that I check back on the website someday if I still hold out any hope. So, I have a $100 brick on my hands. Very disappointing, Kensington.
5-0 out of 5 stars Works as intended.
First of all, most of the people rating this item poorly are complete idiots, and the ones telling you to buy an iGo probably work for iGo. The "iGo everywhere130" costs at least $20 more but will not charge my laptop!!!! Right within their website they say "This power tip will POWER your notebook, however it will NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY.". What a piece of crap (the iGo).In addition, I would still have to buy a separate tip for my Dell if I bought an iGo or the Kensington (both companies charge about $[...]).

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the money
Mine only records on DVD-. I tried DVD+ it doesn't read blanks but does play all recorded dvds. It's got your average cheesy remote, and the drop down menu is all uncommon symbol's (refer to manual.) The L.E.D readout tells you how much record time you have left, my cyberhome didn't do that, It gave%. I only had it3 week's but so far it's great With the exception of only being able to do 1 function at a time, For instance if it's recording or playing a DVD you can't set the timer. Otherwise once you get use to it it's easy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad for starters.
This is a very basic DVD Recorder. It doesn't have a ton of bells and wistles which is what makes it perfect for beginners. The lack of DVD-ram is upsetting, considering the DR-W4 is only thirty more for many more features, but sometimes less features are nice, the simplicity makes it easy for my entire family to use.You cannot access menu items when discs are finalizing/formatting/or even when shows are recording, which is unfortunate.Otherwise, it is a great starter by a company that makes reliable products.

5-0 out of 5 stars Time to get rid of those VHS tapes
I picked this machine up a few weeks ago, and am most impressed with the ease of operation.Keep in mind it's a BASIC dvd recorder, single layer, dvd-r and dvd-rw, which is compatible with most players out there.I purchased this for the sole purpose of transferring old VHS material onto dvd, and this machine does a great job of that. And the low price of this machine makes it easy for anyone to make the move from VHS to dvd. Finally, I'll be able to get rid of those boxes of tapes.A real bargain. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars You will love these if you like separate headphone and mic
Been using these for over a month now with TeamSpeak and I love them. Great 3D sound with a SoundBlaster X-Fi card, comfortable, and the mic is separate so you can place it on your lapel or comes with a handy monitor mount which I attached to my LCD. Built much more rugged than anything else I have tried. Would highly recommend to gamers!

5-0 out of 5 stars Glasses and Hearing aids....
After reading other reviews I thought I'd give these a try..Good move on my part! I wear glasses and and hearing aids in both ears. Sound is VERY good and am able to adjust for my loss with a minimum of problems AND can wear them for hours without discomfort. 5 Stars from me!

5-0 out of 5 stars realy well built!!
I have really bad luck with head sets (I dropped a vise on my last set, really)these are really well built headphones, it always seems to be the mic or the volume control that goes bad, but on this head set they are all separate so if any one goes out then you still have a good head set. They can get very loud and not crack, exceptional base, and mic is very very clear. They are light but feel solid, although I have not put them to the vise test they seem you be strong. I have very big ears that is one of the reasons I bought this head set, it is very comfortable. The only thing I don't like is that they do not block very much sound because there are holes behind the ear cups, but maybe it help keep your ears cool, maybe. I really give them 4 1/2 stars. I paid about $90 for them and I have no regrets. So if you want a head set to use is a relatively quit environment these are good but if not go for the Sony mdr-300/mdr-400 they don't have mics but good headphones.

5-0 out of 5 stars Belkin F5D5050 Networking USB to Ethernet Adaptor
Works great. Absolutly no problems hooking up my TiVo to my network.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised
I dreaded having to replace a blown Ethernet adapter in our laptop. Then I found this one, plugged it in and we were back in business without having to crack the laptop case or reconfigure a card. We didn't notice any speed difference on our home net. The cable plug to the router is high quality, not like those easily broken plastic clips used on some of these. A keeper.

2-0 out of 5 stars Faulty card not worth price
I used this memory card as the second of two used to take pictures at a high class wedding. All 526 pictures of the 587 capacity of the 512 MB card were retrieved without any problems. When it came time to retrieve the pictures from this 1GB card, only 294 were available out of the 800 or so I thought I had taken.I fould a software program for my computer that claimed to be able to recover lost data on flash memory cards.BadCopy Pro found 806 pictures on that card that normal handling only found 294.All indications is that the card is faulty. The price was cheap and now I think I know why.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great value,Works as it should
What can you say about memory?Well it works and my camera seems to like it. Using it in a Canon 10D.My camera will take bursts of photos and the card gets written to properly and quickly. I haven't measured the time. I realize this isnt an 80x card or whatever, but I don't have an 80x camera, so it suits me fine.I have used it at sporting events and haven't missed a shot because of the card being written to, so I think it does as it should. I have several other Kingston cards, starting all the way back with I think a 32mb chip, then a 256 then a 512 and now a gig chip.I think they are a good value and I have even washed one in my pants pocket, run it through a drier and it still works, not that I'm trying to promote using your memory like pocket lint, but it's good to know they are build well! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Decent at what it does...
This is no replacement for a good GPS that has the ability to give turn-by-turn directions. The layout is still clunky. The USB device still screws up if you don't plug it in at the right time, or forget to unplug it when you reboot.I'm sure that this is a glitch... The software is still very unable to re-route you when you go off course. You can hit F3 to force the software to re-draw the route from your current location.

Editorial Review

The high-capacity, 1800 mAH Rayovac NM713-2 Rechargeable NiMH D Batteries last up to three times longer in digital cameras than standard alkaline, and can be recharged up to 500 times. That means more shots on a single set of batteries, not to mention thousands of dollars in savings on batteries for your high-drain digital still camera. Plus, with Rayovac NiMH batteries, there are no "memory" problems -- recharge your Rayovac batteries any time, even if they are only partially drained.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars excellent cooker
I have been using this cooker for last one month and it is awesome. Earlier also I used this cooker and ordered the same one. Amazon is doing great service with online shopping. I will continue to do Amazon online shopping and advise others also.
5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Rice Cooker
I have an older rice cooker from panasonic. Its made of aluminium & is pain to clean after cooking. This one has a non-stick pan & works GREAT !! It comes with a spatula to serve rice & a measuring cup. Overall, A good buy for the price paid.

5-0 out of 5 stars It is good product
I have used couple of branded Rice cookers earlier, I found Panasonic SR-G18BG 10 Cup Rice Cooker/Steamer is the best one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Really solves a problem
Lost cases, or copies. You can get spindles of CD/DVDrs, but how do you keep track after?
5-0 out of 5 stars TDK vs Memorex
These cases are an outstanding buy for the price. You may find better ones, but you'll pay much more for them. These are vastly superior to the flimsy, fragile Memorex product of the same price range. These will do for most moderately handled media.

5-0 out of 5 stars VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE
TDK products have always been excellent products for the money ... Read more

Great quick charger, but only quick charges Duracell Rechargeable Batteries and my digital camera came with Cannon Batteries.Would be a perfect product if it charged other branded NiMH Rechargeable Batteries.

1-0 out of 5 stars cannot replace a scratched lens on HD1A - ever
Sorry Amazon this HD1A thing goes back.I called your customer support, and apparently Sanyo was too cheap to include threads to allow the lens to be replaced on the HD1A (and no threads for an optional protective UV lens).NOBODY should buy a camcorder which doesn't allow this basic, very basic attribute.Even my Sony camcorder from 4 years ago has threads to screw on a lens.I usually don't review things on Amazon - but this really is an extremely poor oversight.Sorry Sanyo - for paying this price for a camcorder - even a tapeless HD one - I expect to be able to replace my lensif they get scratched - and with my family's use - they often do after a year or two.I can't spend $600 for a 1 or 2 year camera.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent camera
the image quality in a HDTV monitor is great, an additional battery is a good idea. With the joystick control is difficult to press without errors, anyway, easy to operate, light and very easy to pass from hdtv quality to tv quality; the price-quality relation is very good.

5-0 out of 5 stars A FUN HD!
As a previous owner of both the original HD1 and the older C5, the HD1a was an easy pick for me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great speakers for the price and size
It did take a bit of time to figure out how to use it although it appeared to be quite simple at first. The instructions say that the iPod Shuffle need not be turned on if the speakers are plugged in but after struggling with it for a while I realized that the Shuffle had to be turned on or otherwise there will be no sound coming out from the speakers.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is one of the Best
I love this thing..I can never find Find it..Someone always has it..Sound is great...For the money its a must have..5 star's easy.
5-0 out of 5 stars Small but great sound
I was skeptical about this speaker set given how small it was but in light of the scarce choices for ipod shuffle speakers, I bought this and I must say I was really surprised at how clean and loud these little speakers are.I first tried it on the higher output setting, which I don't recommend because you get more hissing that way.On the normal setting, it sounds great. The package overall is well made and somewhat heavier than I anticipated, which was a welcomed surprise. No, I don't recommend this if you're going for a really loud speaker system, but it's terrific for travel and whenever you want your shuffle mix without the headphones. Also, it's really neat how the shuffle fits perfectly into the slot for storage. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Works as Advertised
When I upgraded my motherboard and lost my RS-232 ports, I feared I would no longer be able to use some of my legacy devices. I didn't want to use up one of the precious few PCI slots on this motherboard for an adapter, so a USB solution appealed to me.
5-0 out of 5 stars Works great in Linux....
I was worried that this adapter wouldn't work with Linux (Fedora Core 5), but lo and behold, it did!Plugged it in, and the kernel modules loaded automatically w/ no problems. The blue light that the docs mention doesn't seem to work, but isn't a problem for me since it's plugged into the back of my PC anyway.Good adapter at a great price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for what it is
Worked great.Need to install a driver (disc included).Followed the instructions to a T and it worked perfectly.Bought two and each one worked great. ... Read more
