Great cable for tight places - better than ITB cable

Not quite what I needed
The Griffin Xpress is the length I needed (3 meters/10 feet), but the mini-jack adapters are too big for the digital audio output on my Power Mac G4 (Digital Audio) music server. Also, the standard size Toslink connector did not fit well on my Yamaha receiver. It did not "snap" into place and bent (won't close completely) the protective flap on the Yamaha jack. ... Read more

Haven't bought it yet but the price is right....good for your HDTV setup.
Here's what I really don't get....it's freakin' wire. Why would you buy monster cables and gold-plate-connector yourself into the poorhouse when you're really just buying metal wire wrapped in flexible plastic casing? At around five bucks, these seem like a darn fine deal, especially considering they also contain the rca audio jacks you'll need along with your three component video connectors to get both video & sound from a component source to a component destination. ... Best for the money...for a musician.
The M-Audio Audiophile 2496 is probably the best all-around soundcard available today. I am a musician, so for me, recording in a high quality was very important, and the gsif support was the main reason I purchased this. For the non-musician though, this soundcard might be passed up for the simple reason of convenience.
Without peer for the price.
Exceptionally quiet and accurate.The best imaging of any sound card in my experience.I'm talking about a clearly audible difference here.
Audiphile 2496 For True Audiophiles
Like the name suggests, the m-audio audiophile 2496 is for true audiophiles.I have had this card for years and there still is few options that are on par with this card for the same money.The audiophile has a full dynamic range of crisp audio with little distortion.I connect my sound card via digital coaxial cable to my Harman Kardon avr 240 and the sound is amazingly clear.

Dell xps600 sata system, old ata hard drive, ADIDESA
All my info was on my old hard drive out of my Dell 4300.
Didn't work with new Dell system
I'm also running Microsoft Media Center and had no luck with the converter. I attached it to my older Western Digital IDE hard drive, plugged it into the second SATA slot on the motherboard, and poof, nothing. Not only did it not allow my system to recognize the older drive, but when I used it, my system couldn't recognize the exisiting SATA drive! I tried every possible jumper configuration for the IDE drive, and nothing helped. I'm no hardware genius, but I built my last two machines without trouble, so I'm pretty sure I connected everything correctly. Furthermore, I researched the Intel Matrix Storage Manager issue listed in comments above, and although I'm not sure if my system is running it, Intel's site recommends against using SATA converters like this if it is running.

Works fine on our brand new PC (pruchased December 2005).Only complaint about the product is not truly comprehensive instructions -- had to call customer support -- which was very good and patient.We didn't know that Drive had to be set to master (was set to slave), once we did that all was fine! Works great!
Excellent.It works great and is simple to use.I use it with a multi-function printer/scanner (HP PSC 1315xi) and I have no problem either printing or scanning from either PC.

Disappointment.
