Great Product once installed
The installation information is on a tiny CD, the sort that works best in a data tray; as Mac laptops don't have those trays, I had to grab the files from a PC. Once installed, the product runs great

This is one of only two of six USB to serial port cords I tried that actually works with my Magellan SporTrak GPS. One of the four that didn't work, and was the most expensive, was purchased from Magellan (Thales Navigation).
Fast - Reliable - Inexpensive

Problems with some

Great grip but....
I love Irwin products,especially the bar clamps/spreaders. However this is one case where a little "not-taking-care-of-your-tools-so-great" actually pays off.

Not an HP item, but it still does the job.
I was a bit thrown in the beginning because the item shown when purchasing is the original HP ink in the original packaging.This item does NOT come like that.It's separately boxed, and from what it looks like, it was a cartridge that was just refilled.Honestly, I don't really care.It's for my printer at home, and it does just as good of a job as the original printer cartridge that I had, for way less money.I will definately buy again. ... Good quality
You can use this for havy duty projects, as well as for delicate projects. Very good qualy. Ezy to use.

Fantastic tool!
After trying a couple of other manual staple guns I have finally come back to this tried and true beauty. Works as advertised, plenty of power, puts the staples in cleanly and doesn't jam. Great for occasional small upholstrey jobs and odd jobs around the house.

Not bad.
In response to previous reviewers' observations that this tool jams frequently, it is a fairly cheap tool. For the money, I find it to be a value. Although advertised as "Heavy-Duty" this tool is not for contractors requiring a heavy use stapler. But for small jobs, it fits the bill nicely.

Pretty good for A/V cables
These cables are definitely worth the money.My 27" TV had cheap A/V wires hooking up the cable box to the television.When I bought a new 32" TV I couldn't understand why the picture quality was inferior to the older tv that we had.Well it turned out to be the cheap cables that we were using.The 32" tv showed the imperfections much more than the 27" tv.But after we got these cables wow was the picture clearer and the colors more vibrant.If you don't have an S-video port or component cables, I definitely suggest going with these high quality A/V cables from monster. ... This product does work, kinda, and not all of the time.I have found that if you leave your computer on for long periods of time that is seems to forget that it is there and stops functioning.This seems to happen about evey 8 hours.So, I would deffinately NOT recommend this for a person that leaves their computers on for long periods of time unattended.Read more

Causes unacceptable ghosting
In order to rearrange my computer equipment, I needed something longer than the original monitor cable to connect between the CPU and monitor.I found this cable and ordered it, thinking it would do what I needed.After receiving the cable, I quickly learned that it causes ghosting on the monitor, something that does not happen with the original cable.The manufacturer, Tripp-lite suggests changing the resolution or refresh rate, neither of which would be acceptable to me.I would like to see Amazon revise their description of this item and tell people that it may deteriorate the performance of their monitor.

Good Quality. Needs better thumb-screw design.
As the title states, the quality is good/excellent. No ghosting. Excellent contrast. Crisp text. At least as good as the cable that came with my monitor.

Misaligned bracket
Bracket so skewed that when tightened it pulls the fingers from the socket; could not bend backet to make it fit; had to leave bracket misaligned; used tape as dust cover; otherwise card seems to work as advertised.

Fills the Bill
Raising the level of port from 1.1 - 2.0 is what the product promises is what the product promises and that is what it delivers. It was comparitively easy to install. My wife without previous experience, installed the product in approximately 15 minuts.

WORKS PERFECTLY-PC and MAC!!
This card works exactly as stated by StarTech. I bought two - one for a PC and one for a Mac, popped 'em in and plugged in iPods, external hardrives, a scanner, and digital cameras and the cards worked perfectly. The PC needed a quick setup and the Mac worked instantly!

Monster Cables are Very Very Good
I bought various monster cables and they work great. Most important is a monster S video cable for the cable box or satellite box for viewing regular TV. (Only HDTV boxes have component cables on them) A HDTV is not worth it to me just yet. The Monster Video® 2/Interlink® 250 A/V Connection Kit (S-Video) is great and it costs as much as 2 cases of beer and lasts for years. Prestine picture quality on 35 inch sets and below. For bigger sets get a Monster Super Video(tm) 3/Interlink® 400 MkII Advanced S-Video A/V Kit. You will thank yourself. Costs as much as a dinner for 2 but lasts for years.
Improves the picture quality!
Before I owned this cable I was disappointed with the quality of picture that I was seeing on my HDTV. Though I wasn't very positive about it I decided to go ahead and buy this cable. The picture quality changed by a significant amount! Much better than my cable company supplied cable.

Works great, I even bought a second one.Keep in mind that this is a USB cable.It has nothing to do with firewire (as the title would lead you to believe).

Tripp Lite Extension Cables are solid performers
I bought two of these Tripp Lite U026-016 USB 2.0/FireWire 16 foot Active Extension Cables.I have had them for a month and use them with both my PC and with my Playstation 2 Force Feedback Driving Wheels.They are well designed and made with nice thick insulation on the wires and tight connectors.
