4-0 out of 5 stars Great player....but a little pricey
I bought this to upgrade from a 64MB player, so this was a BIG change. It is definitely a good buy, but I believe Apple could come down on the price a bit. It is very easy to use, but if you're not used to iPods, the click wheel can be a little tricky at first. It doesn't come with a charger so the only way to charge it is to plug it in to a computer; you can, however, purchase one.Overall, this is a good player, but if you're looking for a bargain-look elsewhere.
5-0 out of 5 stars Very Useful, but a Bit Pricey...
The Ipod is a well-designed compressed music file player with easy-to-use resident software. Forget about the photo angle - the images are just too small to be useful. The iPod nano is all about music.
4-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!! BUT A LITTLE PROBLEM
This is the best Ipod ever!! I love it. It easily replaces me sandisk mp3 player. I love listening to this thing. ON tthe bus, at lunch, at recess. Even when i am doing homework. =). But there is just one problem with it. All the accesories that are needed for this thing. Like one of those hard plastic cases. There goes one month of my allowance. And than the docks and the speakers! I am looking for a speaker system for my ipod under $40. But its not going well. But besisdes that this thing is the best!!!! BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars I returned this camera. :(
I have always been a fan of Sony Cybershot cameras and I didn't think twice about buying this camera. I thought it would be perfect! I love the look & feel of Cybershots, I've always been happy with the photo quality, and I love the Lithium Batteries.
5-0 out of 5 stars Macro Users/Ebay Sellers Will Love This Camera
I purchased the W50 mostly to take macro photos of antique beads for listing on Ebay. This type of photography requires a camera that can capture fine detail and excellent color saturation. The W50 has met my demands and then some.As I take my photos hand held the demands were especially crucial.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera
I had a Nikon L1, but i decided to change it due to poor indoor quiality pics in low light situations and also because the long time it takes to focuse i nlow light.

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredible value
Just hooked up the Logitech to my new iMac. Have to tell you, kids, it wasn't long ago that a speaker system with this kind of quality would have another zero in the price. This system is that good. Listening to Ray Charles sing "Oh What a Beautiful Morning." He's right.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good but not Great
I received the speakers earlier today. I'm listening to them now. The bad news is that the cymbals don't sizzle. I read the other reviews about missing mid range. The mid range is there. Just not much presence on the high end. No bells. You won't hear any frets on the strings. On the other hand... these speakers could fill a stadium with music. The bass is effortless... and loud. You will spend more time turning down the volume than turning it up.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT SOUND FOR A DORM ROOM!!!
I bought these speakers a couple weeks ago to put in my dorm room. They are great!!! The balance is good and the bass can be heard down the hall. Like some other reviews I was skeptical about buying these speakers due to bad reviews about bass and mid range. But I'm glad I did! Definitely worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Buy this or any other TI or Sharp over the HP 12C
Why does the CFA exam require this calculator?Probably because in order to use the HP 12C properly you need to bring the manual with you.If you don't have the manual with you at all times when using the 12C you can get the wrong answer.Take the example in T. Hope's review, but try calculating using n= a payment with a decimal place, such as 24.5.Then try the same thing on an HP 12C.Oops, you don't get the same answer. That is because the HP12C doesn't allow you to enter payment terms with decimal places in the normal manner, even though it looks like you can.You need the manual to do it correctly. The real problem is that you don't even know when you need the manual. If you enter 24.5 the same way as 24 on the HP 12C, you won't get the right answer.Any TI or Sharp financial calculator however will give you the right answer. What other surprises are in store for those who use the 12C?

3-0 out of 5 stars Looks really nice.. But Horrible button
I don't know why CFA requires the candidates to use this calculator. It's better than HP 12C only in terms of simple calculation. You have to check everytime after you press the button, in case the system doesn't respond when you press it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Financial Calculator
It has some very useful addition from the previous model. It has cut the time of doing my homework in half. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars BROKE TWICE IN THREE MONTHS
I loved this computer for the first week. Then, it died.Just blackout died completely. When I took out the battery, it started right up.Two months later it broke again.Same thing but the battery trick didn't work this time. When I took it in, they said the hard drive was gone. They couldn't even recover any of the data.Getting it repaired took ten days after many, many phone calls to Apple to get me on an expedite list, because the hard drive was on back order!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Happy with this camera!
I bought this camera about 2 weeks ago and I'm very happy with the camera so far. It's easy to use right out of the box and the picture quality is very good.I like the 6x optical zoom and the IS really helps with the camera shake, especially when using the zoom. The movie mode is very nice as well. The camera is big enough to feel right in my hand yet small enough to easily slip into a sweatshirt pocket or purse. My twocomplaints are: the camera ships with a 16 MB SD card-which is a joke, and battery life seems fairly short. Investing in rechargables would be a good idea. I'm now using a 1 GB Ultra II SD card with great results. Overall, I'm very happy with the camera and I'm still getting to know it.
3-0 out of 5 stars Expected a bit more
Good camera. Compact size and weight. Like the 6X optical zoom.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent phone Tons of features
I purchased this phone system as a gift. I set it up and used it extensively. The handsets have features that you are used to finding in a cell phone. Many different ring tones to choose from, the antenna lights up when a call comes in. You can even set special colors and ring tones for specific callers so you'll know when they're calling without picking up the handset.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellant Answering Machine/Phones
I received my answering machine/phone two weeks ago. I had a Uniden which was awful after several months use. My calls no longer break up or fade as they did with the Uniden. The answering machine is simple to use and the functions are very easy to see. The calls are crystal clear and I am very satisfied. My parents bought one based on my recommendation and they love it. Now my sister will purchase one. I do not need the phone to light up as some customers have complained it does not. The overall quality is more important to me.

5-0 out of 5 stars No more film for this artist.
The potential for creativity and control with this camera is astounding and a Leica lens! For the price some of the expectations in the reviewshave been a little high. This is not an SLR and should not be compared to one. Give this camera a try. Use a tripod, invest in the best photo paper and get in close. This camera will follow your lead with a very strong finish.
5-0 out of 5 stars BIGGGG step up over the terrific FZ5 except in pixels
I loved the FZ5 but up'ed to the FZ7 not for 1 MP but the bigger LCD.To my surprise, I find the menu and button layout improved and intuitive.I can't compare this to similar Sony and Canon offerings but this camera is for sure smaller and very light. The image stab is unbelieveable..when I'm hiking at 8 to 12 K feet and stop to take a pix, I'm breathing hard and can see the viewfinder jump in time with my pulse. No prob, sqeeze off a shot at ISO 100 and the image is crisp. This should have been an 8 MP camera if Panasonic wanted to really wanted offer an "upgrade"...too bad, but for me 6 MP works.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great trade-off camera at this price point!
I resisted providing a review of this camera for about 2 months now in order to make sure everything was as I would like it.I can now say that this camera is a great choice for those that are looking for a trade-off between ultra-compact, and long-zoom SLR.I recently took it to a Black Eyed Peas concert that was in the evening. The pictures I took at 12x zoom were really good. The large screen is perfect for sharing with friends immediately. The simple mode is good for taking most pictures, and if you like to fiddle, it's got just enough of the manual features to give you those options. It's considerably lighter than a digi-SLR, with a better form-factor (I think) than either the Canon S3 or Sony H2.I would definitely recommend. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera
Have had this camera for nearly a month now, and I have to say it is truly great for the following reasons:
5-0 out of 5 stars Very Pleased!!
I am a severe novice at photography and do not know much on the subject but I really wanted to take better pictures of my boyfreind who does freetstyle motocross.I was having a hard time getting the timing down and getting a good zoom with my old camera and with this camera I have been getting some amazing pictures. At first when reading the manual I became extremely overwhelmed and scared that I made a bad decision.I still do not know what the fancy functions are and how to use them. But I did find that it is very user friendly if you just go with the automatic shooting modes. I'm very excited about the wonderful picture quality I've been getting. Some of his sponsors are even using my shots for their advertisements! I highly recommend this camera!!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Product!
I use my Ipod Nano daily. This product is wonderful because it allows you to bring your music or audiobook ANYWHERE. For example, I take it to work, I bring it home and put it into my Ipod alarm clock, I take it in my car and have the tunes broadcast to through my radio, etc....
4-0 out of 5 stars Nice for the size
I have a 30 and 60 gb video ipod along with this nano.. The nano is cool because of its size and the 4gb holds just enough music to keep your playlist fun for about a week in the car, then its time to mix it up a bit. The battery life is just awful on the nanos compared to a regular ipod, maybe apple should work on fixing issues like this instead of trying to plan a release date for the 200gb ipod!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Wasted My Money
I am so sorry I wasted my money on this iPod. It's unreliable and doesn't work most of the time. The battery runs down fast; iTunes frequently won't recognize it and I've had to reset a dozen times. Oh yeah, it went back to the factory once. They said it's fine. I wish I could get my money back. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars First time GPS device user
This was my first ever purchase of a device like this.My purchase decision was based largely on the positive reviews I read on Amazon.com.
5-0 out of 5 stars Sleek design
The Nuvi 360 lived up to all my expectations, given the usual caveats for street-guiding GPS systems. I also like the sleekness and thinness of its design, which makes for a nice appearance in the vent-holder I bought through Amazon. The holder brings the Nuvi more forward than does a windshield mount, reducing the glare and making it easier to operate, while at the same time maintaining a reasonable view.

5-0 out of 5 stars Garmin is the best for GPS
I spent a lot of time trying out GPS units, and have compared Garmin, Tom Tom, Magellan, and several factory GPS units. All of these GPS units tell you how to get somewhere and will re-route if you make a wrong turn. However, Garmin is my absolute favorite, and here's why:

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for PowerPoint, but not for Corel
I do a great deal of public speaking, but usually use Corel Presentations instead of PowerPoint (for numerous reasons which I won't describe here!).I have an older and cheaper Targus remote device which has a very simple array of functions, and it works well with both programs. The features and range of the Logitech convinced me to give it a try, hoping it would work with Corel--but it doesn't (and converting from a Corel file to PPT tends to botch the bullet animations). The plus is that it works flawlessly with PowerPoint.Bottom line: for those faithful few who use Corel, this is not the device for you--unless another reviewer out there can tell me how to get this to work!

5-0 out of 5 stars It DO have "Resume" function on button "F5/Esc"
Just bought this wonderful "toy" and played around for few minutes. Unlike other reviewers' complains, I found two things need to point out:
5-0 out of 5 stars The best one by far...
I've owned 3 other remote clickers, and this one is the best by far.For starters, it uses AAA batteries which are easy to procure and replace, whereas other models use those little quarter-size batteries that require a special trip to Radio Shack to buy.Plus, AAA's hold more juice to begin with, AND this clicker has an on/off switch, whereas others turn off on their own after time without use, meaning after they drain the battery! The transmitter on this clicker has plenty of power to reach the back of the computer/USB receiver stub from long distances, whereas others require the presenter to be close to the computer because they transmit a weak signal. The form factor of this one is perfect in your hand and the buttons are easily used, even by people unfamilar with it -- it's very intuitive. It has a very useful timer/clock that allows me to watch how much time I have left to finish my presentation -- it will also vibrate in my hand with 5 minutes to go, 2 minutes to go, and when my time is up.It allows me to add more time on the fly. This remote clicker is absolutely perfect in every way, and I can't tell you how many colleagues have purchased one after they tried mine.Don't waste your money on anything else -- they really got it right in all the human factors/UI aspects and all the engineering aspects when they made this. ... This advanced graphing calculator is packed with more features than you might know how to use. 1-0 out of 5 stars A lot of hype, but it quickly fizzled
Bought this product recently based on recommendations for an advanced math/ scientific calculator.Apparently, TI has almost all the schools eating out of their hands by having classrooms make these calculators mandatory in many classes.
5-0 out of 5 stars TI-89 Titanium For Statistics
Pros:
5-0 out of 5 stars For calculus and beyond, perfect!Anything below calculus, this is too much!
After using a TI-83 Plus calculator for the last 5 years, I decided to upgrade to the TI-89 Titanium. This calculator is unbelievable in its features and power. First of all, it is more suited for advanced math, such as calculus and beyond. This calculator is NOT meant for high schoolers who are taking algebra, geometry or trig classes. If you don't know what a derivative or an integral is, then save your money and buy a TI-84 instead. (Besides, I believe most high school math teachers ban the TI-89 on tests) This calculator can also run programs in its Flash memory, which can be downloaded from the TI website. A USB cable is included standard. TI has made the newly designed sliding cover much more secure than the old TI design (TI-83 plus, TI-86, TI-89 regular), whose sliding cover was not very secure and became looser over continued use. The cover is very hard to get off the first few times (I was almost afraid of breaking it off), but over time it has gotten easier. Switching over from the TI-83, the only problem I've encountered is the operation of this calculator is very different from the 83.The menus are different, the interface different, different buttons. It takes a while to get used to. ... Editorial Review

Just when you thought Garmin had cornered the market on powerful, affordable, and effective wrist-mounted GPS devices, here comes the Forerunner 305. The release of this device is a major achievement from a design and technology perspective. This isn't just marketing-speak; the Forerunner 305 is the most accurate, most reliable wrist-mounted performance and GPS tracking tool we've ever tested. Yes, it's that good. While no device this compact can do everything (yet), the 305 pushes the boundaries of what is possible from something strapped around your wrist. The 305 model includes wireless heartrate monitoring and it can also be connected to Garmin's wireless bicycle speed and cadence sensor. If you don't need these features, consider the lower-priced Forerunner 205.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Customer Service
I have had my Garmin Forerunner 305 for a couple of months now.I love it.I use it for running, biking, and occasionally hiking.Recently, I have had trouble getting it to make good connection with the syncing/charging cradle.I called Garmin's Customer Service about it.They are sending me a new cradle! It was a very postive experience.I was definitely impressed with Garmin's Customer Service!

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this product!!
I bought this about a month ago and currently have 10 runs with it, including a few 5 milers.I'm not a top of the line runner but I am very interested in making myself a better runner through the information gathered with this device.I have great things to say about this product. It's very comfortable to wear, light on the wrist and the heart rate monitor is hardly noticable.Even my wife will wear this - and she is not into wearing any devices when she works out.I have to think that if I was to wear this for 26 miles though, it might become a little irritating, but then what wouldn't be irritating after 26 miles? The best part is that I don't even have to think about logging my activity. It's very easy to get the data from the device and the information that you get is incredible! If you are looking for a toy to help you train, this is it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great - 97% of the time
Works well most of the time; however, occationally will "yo-yo" between the pace I'm holding and about 7-8 minutes above that (e.g. - at a 8 minute pace, will fluxuate between 8 and 15:30 pace while I'm maintaining speed). This usually only lasts for about 5 minutes or so and doesn't happen often - but is annoying when it does. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Close to perfection
To hold this iPod is to be amazed. It is almost lighter than air - any thinner and it would slip through your hands. It is truly remarkable that something so lightweight, so small can do so much. My less than perfect rating is for the screen size and lack of firewire support. As I creep into my late 30s, I simply cannot read text that small anymore, and playing solitaire on that screen really hurts my eyes. The definition & brightness in the screen are truly remarkable, however. I truly miss the firewire iPods. On a Mac, synching was just faster w/ the firewire models - and if I'm on an older Mac that has USB 1.0 and FireWire, I would prefer firewire, but am stuck using USB. *sigh*
4-0 out of 5 stars So glad i didn't buy a first generation nano!
For Christmas, my dad is buying me an ipod nano. I have been doing alot of research on this little gadget. It appears to be as good as they say it is. i cant wait especially to get games on it, and personalize my settings menu. There is practically EVERYTHING on this ipod! From a calander to a stop watch, to a slide show for your photos to a really long battery life. ipod definetly created a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Lives up to the hype
My friend has one of these fun little iPods. I am hoping to buy one with birthday money, and This is smaller and thinner than the average iPod Nano. Now, you can have 10X more songs. I'm so buying one of these to replace my crappy Creative MuVo N200 (which f***ing broke, by the way.) ... Read more

Editorial Review

The Fujifilm FinePix F30 6.3MP Digital Camera is a revolution in point-and-shoot digital cameras for consumers. With full-resolution ISO equivalency speeds as high as 3200 -- a setting previously reserved for advanced consumer and professional digital camera models -- the F30 takes crystal clear photographs where other cameras would deliver blurry images. Higher light sensitivities allow this camera to shoot with faster shutter speeds, which lessens the likelihood of blurry pictures caused by ever-active children, fidgety pets, dim ambient light, or an unsteady camera hand.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great small camera, fantastic video, better than PowerShot SD600 and SD700
I love my FinePix F30.I know what a great camera it is because I have compared its performance against two of its most highly rated competitors.
4-0 out of 5 stars A few other points
Other reviews are quite extensive on the F30.I just wanted to add that I discoverred that, while Fuji says you must use slow type M XD cards, the camera works fine and fast with the older plain XD cards.512MB says I have about 180 pictures to go, which is plenty for me.
5-0 out of 5 stars Superb
I've owned 5 digital cameras; I'm an amateur who goes back to the SLR days.I have liked my prior two Fuji's but have had reliability problems, battery life problems, exposure problems.Minor.I decided to step up.I was looking at any and everythingi from Panasonic/Canon/Olympus to Leica.I could afford anything and had 2 cameras to trade in.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works perfect much better than a joystick
Esactly what I was wanting. When you turn there is resistance (springs I think) and everything works great. If you use flight sims you need this product.Works awsome.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very cool - super real
I have been a private pilot for more than 20 years. This is a good way to fly whenever you can't.Very cool, super realistic.

2-0 out of 5 stars Plastic, binding, not at all worth the money
What can I say?The plastic sticks in the assembly, making it really hard to control.
