Hooray, I'm the first one to review!
I have my own ATI primium TV tuner card so I tried the trial version on this software. But I realized that once one software is using a TV Tuner Card, it is difficulty to use the same device for other applications.

Very Happy with this camera!
I bought this camera about 2 weeks ago and I'm very happy with the camera so far. It's easy to use right out of the box and the picture quality is very good.I like the 6x optical zoom and the IS really helps with the camera shake, especially when using the zoom. The movie mode is very nice as well. The camera is big enough to feel right in my hand yet small enough to easily slip into a sweatshirt pocket or purse. My twocomplaints are: the camera ships with a 16 MB SD card-which is a joke, and battery life seems fairly short. Investing in rechargables would be a good idea. I'm now using a 1 GB Ultra II SD card with great results. Overall, I'm very happy with the camera and I'm still getting to know it.
Expected a bit more
Good camera. Compact size and weight. Like the 6X optical zoom.

Excellent phone Tons of features
I purchased this phone system as a gift. I set it up and used it extensively. The handsets have features that you are used to finding in a cell phone. Many different ring tones to choose from, the antenna lights up when a call comes in. You can even set special colors and ring tones for specific callers so you'll know when they're calling without picking up the handset.
Excellant Answering Machine/Phones
I received my answering machine/phone two weeks ago. I had a Uniden which was awful after several months use. My calls no longer break up or fade as they did with the Uniden. The answering machine is simple to use and the functions are very easy to see. The calls are crystal clear and I am very satisfied. My parents bought one based on my recommendation and they love it. Now my sister will purchase one. I do not need the phone to light up as some customers have complained it does not. The overall quality is more important to me.
Excellent home office / work at home / telecommuter phone

No more film for this artist.
The potential for creativity and control with this camera is astounding and a Leica lens! For the price some of the expectations in the reviewshave been a little high. This is not an SLR and should not be compared to one. Give this camera a try. Use a tripod, invest in the best photo paper and get in close. This camera will follow your lead with a very strong finish.
BIGGGG step up over the terrific FZ5 except in pixels
I loved the FZ5 but up'ed to the FZ7 not for 1 MP but the bigger LCD.To my surprise, I find the menu and button layout improved and intuitive.I can't compare this to similar Sony and Canon offerings but this camera is for sure smaller and very light. The image stab is unbelieveable..when I'm hiking at 8 to 12 K feet and stop to take a pix, I'm breathing hard and can see the viewfinder jump in time with my pulse. No prob, sqeeze off a shot at ISO 100 and the image is crisp. This should have been an 8 MP camera if Panasonic wanted to really wanted offer an "upgrade"...too bad, but for me 6 MP works.
Great trade-off camera at this price point!
I resisted providing a review of this camera for about 2 months now in order to make sure everything was as I would like it.I can now say that this camera is a great choice for those that are looking for a trade-off between ultra-compact, and long-zoom SLR.I recently took it to a Black Eyed Peas concert that was in the evening. The pictures I took at 12x zoom were really good. The large screen is perfect for sharing with friends immediately. The simple mode is good for taking most pictures, and if you like to fiddle, it's got just enough of the manual features to give you those options. It's considerably lighter than a digi-SLR, with a better form-factor (I think) than either the Canon S3 or Sony H2.I would definitely recommend.

Great Product!
I use my Ipod Nano daily. This product is wonderful because it allows you to bring your music or audiobook ANYWHERE. For example, I take it to work, I bring it home and put it into my Ipod alarm clock, I take it in my car and have the tunes broadcast to through my radio, etc....
Nice for the size
I have a 30 and 60 gb video ipod along with this nano.. The nano is cool because of its size and the 4gb holds just enough music to keep your playlist fun for about a week in the car, then its time to mix it up a bit. The battery life is just awful on the nanos compared to a regular ipod, maybe apple should work on fixing issues like this instead of trying to plan a release date for the 200gb ipod!!!
Wasted My Money
I am so sorry I wasted my money on this iPod. It's unreliable and doesn't work most of the time. The battery runs down fast; iTunes frequently won't recognize it and I've had to reset a dozen times. Oh yeah, it went back to the factory once. They said it's fine. I wish I could get my money back.

First time GPS device user
This was my first ever purchase of a device like this.My purchase decision was based largely on the positive reviews I read on Amazon.com.
Sleek design
The Nuvi 360 lived up to all my expectations, given the usual caveats for street-guiding GPS systems. I also like the sleekness and thinness of its design, which makes for a nice appearance in the vent-holder I bought through Amazon. The holder brings the Nuvi more forward than does a windshield mount, reducing the glare and making it easier to operate, while at the same time maintaining a reasonable view.
Garmin is the best for GPS
I spent a lot of time trying out GPS units, and have compared Garmin, Tom Tom, Magellan, and several factory GPS units. All of these GPS units tell you how to get somewhere and will re-route if you make a wrong turn. However, Garmin is my absolute favorite, and here's why:

Great for PowerPoint, but not for Corel
I do a great deal of public speaking, but usually use Corel Presentations instead of PowerPoint (for numerous reasons which I won't describe here!).I have an older and cheaper Targus remote device which has a very simple array of functions, and it works well with both programs. The features and range of the Logitech convinced me to give it a try, hoping it would work with Corel--but it doesn't (and converting from a Corel file to PPT tends to botch the bullet animations). The plus is that it works flawlessly with PowerPoint.Bottom line: for those faithful few who use Corel, this is not the device for you--unless another reviewer out there can tell me how to get this to work!
It DO have "Resume" function on button "F5/Esc"
Just bought this wonderful "toy" and played around for few minutes. Unlike other reviewers' complains, I found two things need to point out:
The best one by far...
I've owned 3 other remote clickers, and this one is the best by far.For starters, it uses AAA batteries which are easy to procure and replace, whereas other models use those little quarter-size batteries that require a special trip to Radio Shack to buy.Plus, AAA's hold more juice to begin with, AND this clicker has an on/off switch, whereas others turn off on their own after time without use, meaning after they drain the battery! The transmitter on this clicker has plenty of power to reach the back of the computer/USB receiver stub from long distances, whereas others require the presenter to be close to the computer because they transmit a weak signal. The form factor of this one is perfect in your hand and the buttons are easily used, even by people unfamilar with it -- it's very intuitive. It has a very useful timer/clock that allows me to watch how much time I have left to finish my presentation -- it will also vibrate in my hand with 5 minutes to go, 2 minutes to go, and when my time is up.It allows me to add more time on the fly. This remote clicker is absolutely perfect in every way, and I can't tell you how many colleagues have purchased one after they tried mine.Don't waste your money on anything else -- they really got it right in all the human factors/UI aspects and all the engineering aspects when they made this.

A lot of hype, but it quickly fizzled
Bought this product recently based on recommendations for an advanced math/ scientific calculator.Apparently, TI has almost all the schools eating out of their hands by having classrooms make these calculators mandatory in many classes.
TI-89 Titanium For Statistics
Pros:
For calculus and beyond, perfect!Anything below calculus, this is too much!
After using a TI-83 Plus calculator for the last 5 years, I decided to upgrade to the TI-89 Titanium. This calculator is unbelievable in its features and power. First of all, it is more suited for advanced math, such as calculus and beyond. This calculator is NOT meant for high schoolers who are taking algebra, geometry or trig classes. If you don't know what a derivative or an integral is, then save your money and buy a TI-84 instead. (Besides, I believe most high school math teachers ban the TI-89 on tests) This calculator can also run programs in its Flash memory, which can be downloaded from the TI website. A USB cable is included standard. TI has made the newly designed sliding cover much more secure than the old TI design (TI-83 plus, TI-86, TI-89 regular), whose sliding cover was not very secure and became looser over continued use. The cover is very hard to get off the first few times (I was almost afraid of breaking it off), but over time it has gotten easier. Switching over from the TI-83, the only problem I've encountered is the operation of this calculator is very different from the 83.The menus are different, the interface different, different buttons. It takes a while to get used to.

Editorial Review Just when you thought Garmin had cornered the market on powerful, affordable, and effective wrist-mounted GPS devices, here comes the Forerunner 305. The release of this device is a major achievement from a design and technology perspective. This isn't just marketing-speak; the Forerunner 305 is the most accurate, most reliable wrist-mounted performance and GPS tracking tool we've ever tested. Yes, it's that good. While no device this compact can do everything (yet), the 305 pushes the boundaries of what is possible from something strapped around your wrist. The 305 model includes wireless heartrate monitoring and it can also be connected to Garmin's wireless bicycle speed and cadence sensor. If you don't need these features, consider the lower-priced Forerunner 205. |
