EASY USE AND GREAT RESULTS

awesome
I was all set to order this through amazon because I just couldn't justify paying over $400 more just to be able to pick it up (and return it if there was a problem). However, some of the bad reviews prevented me from doing so. I've had problems with shipping companies before so I know I wouldn't want to deal with that crp. IS IT REALLY TRUE HIGH DEFINITION????
The Samsung's spec does not clearly state if the HD-TV accepts a 1080P video signal.I would ask this question because the Blue-ray DVD technology being introduced produces amazing images on a TRUE HD-TV that can accept 1080P video signal.Presently HD-TVs are video rated at 1080i.
Excellent Choice
I, like many other, spent significant time researching LCD televisions. C-NET and others advised the Sony over the Samsung. I have seen both in action at the homes of friends and my eye viewed the Samsung as every bit as good in picture quality if not better than the Sony. So the decision was made on the Samsung based on features and price, anywhere from $200 to $500 cheaper based on my research. The next decision was whether to risk making such a high dollar purchase online, Amazons price being $400 to $600 less than the brick and mortar stores. After reading many reviews here on Amazon, I decided to pull the trigger and order from Amazon. It was an EXCELLENT CHOICE. The set was ordered on a Friday morning, and arrived via EGL on Amazons super saver free freight rate on Tuesday. Three business days or five calendar days. The set beat my satellite installer so I wasn't expecting much from the picture as I pulled it out of the box. I set it up to make sure it was functioning, and as expected the standard def channels were fuzzy. For kicks I connected my cheap Radio Shack rabbit ears into the antenna connection, and went searching for over the air high definition. What I found was that all the networks carried digital channels as did the fringe channels. I am getting Fox, NBC,CBS, CW, and the MY CHANNEL stations in either 480p or 720p. I also get a PBS HD signal in 1080i. When the networks broadcast their hi-def signals they all come in in either 720p or 1080i. All this on a cheap ten dollar Radio Shack rabbit ears antenna. I have a friend who bought a DLP projection, something I was looking at, and he only receives a 480p signal. Samsung obviously got it right with their built in HD tuner. Samsung got it right with their picture as well. Have had none of the picture issues C-NET talks about. Blacks are definately black, whites are very white, no ghosts, no shadows and no picture lag. After thorough research, I bought three of them
I meticulously researched available printers. I wanted a laser for quality printing without worrying about dried out ink cartridges when I didn't print anything for a long time. I wanted duplex printing to save paper. I didn't even know this printer could print multiple pages on a sheet until after I set it up. That was a welcome bonus! I wanted something to produce quality graphics and photo print-outs, not too expensive to purchase or to maintain, with low cost per page / toner use. I got it all.
Excellent Duplex Printer
I was originally going to purchase an HP LaserJet, but due to it being out of stock, I opted to order this printer. I have to say I am glad I did. My first impression was that it reminded me of my old Samsung QwikLaser, but the print quality and machine quality exceeds what I had expected for $250. My main reason for purchasing this machine was to print duplex technical reports, which my HP Color LaserJet can't do (can't print duplex), and toner for that machine is exponentially more. I have read that the print cost for this machine is about $0.02 a page, which is good in comparison to others costs, and I do not see any "chip" in this toner cartridge, as most new lasers have.
Network issues for this printer solved.
I had the same network issues some other posters mentioned. I decided to solve it myself. The exact symptoms were that after a long period of inactivity, print jobs over the network could not wake up the printer. I ran a network sniffer to determine what was going on. I noticed that my laptop was requesting a name resolution for the printer (name to I.P. address mapping)using NetBIOS broadcasts. Since my network does not have a NetBIOS domain controller or a host to reply to that query, the client (laptop's) queries went unanswered and the printer never even knew that someone was trying to send it a print job. This is a software/network configuration issue that will be specific to some setups, and not necessarily a product bug- so you may or may not be affected by it, depending on your network.

Do not buy this software!!!
I had the Norton 2005 antivirus on my computer, so 2006 should be no problem, right?Wrong!!!! After >10 hours of on-line "chats" with tech support I finally was able to load this program and eliminate all the "conflicts".. then I tried to send an e-mail...It would not go.... 3 more hours on line chats (one disconnect after about 1 hour...)... still not working!!! Save yourself the agony!Do not buy this product!!!! It is most definately NOT worth the aggrivation!!!

Good service...when it works.
I've been using Symantec's product since right about 1998-2000. I usually bought a new version every 3 years, and just extending the subscription between the time. I've never had any problem with any Norton Anti Virus...so in 2003 I bought the Internet Security suite. I LOVED that program. It worked flawlessly, didn't use up a lot of resources, and I never had any problems with viruses or "blue screens" or what have you.
Norton problems
My auto update feature on the NAV 2006 ceased functioning in March 2006 and after 2 hours of phone time with service in India, and after 3 separate attempts, I was unable to obtain a fix other than manually download some updates.Now my home computer is having glitches and the auto update program has ceased working.I suspect updates from Microsoft are causing conflicts but Symantec is makingno effort to also update its program.I will not by NAV again. ... Very slim and useful for a cool user
I've had this drive over a year and have used it continuously to store notes and documents both at school and at work.This device is slender enough to fit in a laptop USB slot and allow the slot beneath it to be available for another device (Mouse, Thumb drive, etc).Also, I've accidentally sent this baby through the washer a couple of times.I don't think it's been in the dryer (yet), but the fact that it's been in water twice and still works makes me glad that I purchased the device I did. By the way, I use my drive to transfer files from every computer I work on, which includes my Mac Mini, my Dell at work, my Macbook Pro at school, and my Linux box serving my web site.
Great piece at a great price
When I was shopping for a flash drive, I saw that someone complained about the slow speed of this drive. It almost scared me away from buying it, but now I'm glad I don't believe everything I hear. This is the fastest media I've ever used, and if someone has one that doesn't run fast, the problem is with their own system or files. A hundred megs in the blink of an eye is plenty fast enough for me. I'm a hands down believer in the SanDisk Cruzer Mini 2GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive. Stop looking, cause you just found the best buy.

I use my Cruzer Mini constantly at work.It's great for quick data transfers, small utilities, drivers or patching systems that are off the network.It's slim and lightweight enough that I tend to drop it in my shirt pocket and forget about it.You probably see where this is going...but yes, it's been run through the washing machine at least four times.What may be even more impressive is that it's been run through the dryer three times (once I did catch it after being washed and saved it from the dryer, allowing it to air dry instead).It still works as well as the day I took it out of the package, never missing a beat. ... I really like this phone!
I've had this phone for a few weeks and really like it.It has a lot of features, is easy to program and figure out, and the sound quality is quite good.I wanted a separate key pad on the base, but I didn't need a land-line phone attached to it - so the universe I was looking at was somewhat reduced. I bought and returned a GE-25841GE3, which had bad sound quality. I have no complaints about this phone at all. I'm rating it 4 rather than 5 only because I don't use Caller ID, and it appears from other reviews that there may be some issues there. Otherwise, I think this phone rocks!

Mighty Mouse - I love you
The BlueTooth Mighty Mouse is a WONDERFUL improvement over the original Mighty Mouse and clearly, the best bluetooth mouse available ---- a direct comparison to other mouse's available -
Very nice with some caveats
First, it looks beautiful. Beautiful symmetry not just from left to right but also from top to bottom. It's beautifully curved, almost like a pebble smoothed to perfection by the action of the tides. Just a small protrusion for the 'scroll wheel' and subtle grey areas at the side that act as a fourth mouse button.
How DidI Live Without It?
This wireless mouse is awesome!I love the right click feature, scrolling and ability to use expose just by squeezing the edges.I do Windows for work through a Citrix client and some of the commands require right clicks.This mouse does it no problem--and you sacrifice none of the Apple aesthetics.It also works on the surface of my dining room table, which used to trip up other lesser laser mice, including apple's one button wireless mouse.

Great product not perfect on IBMs
When I change users on my IBM laptop is hard to get the settings to stay. I have to redo all settings for each user. otherwise is a great product

problems with WEP encryption
The card works great when WEP is disabled. As soon as I enable WEP, I can't connect. My other Linksys cards (one USB and one PCI) work just fine with WEP. I am using CG200 router/cable modem.

Works great so far!
I use this in an Apple PowerBook G4 (17" model) along with a Netgear 802.11g wireless router and SBC/Yahoo DSL. Thus far I have had no problems. I have also used it in other places with other wireless access points. Again, no problems.

Finally a mouse without annoyances
I've gone through about 6 different mice, and each one had their pros and cons (mostly cons).I finally found the MX518, and trust me, you don't know what you're missing until you've used it.
Beautiful.
I ordered this on the 31st and it came earlier today, 2 days before it was due. Very nice shipping by Amazon. I had a mouse with a ball before this, so I'm still getting used to the drastic change. It's much smoother. The only things which had me concerned about this mouse were that it looks somewhat big and it looked like the gray part was a baggy plastic covering which I feared would cause sweating. Both of the fears were just that, I was surprised to see that it was probably around 50% smaller than I expected it and the plastic covering is just a brilliant paint job. The buttons near the mousewheel, more specifically the one furthest back, can be a bit uncomfortable to use but other than that I have no problem with the mouse. Five stars!

Good functions, bad display
I bought this calculator a few years ago for a finance class, and it was easy to use and performed well. I am now taking some other classes that require present value calculations, so I dusted off the calculator. It worked for about a week before the display started malfunctioning. I bought new batteries as other people did, but that is not the problem. I also reset it in the various ways described in the manual, but the display was still malfunctioning. It is very disappointing since the calculator was not actually used that much.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...
I have owned this calculator for 3 months and the dispay is no longer working properly.Parts of the numbers have "burned out" so only parts of the numbers show now.At first I thought it was the batteries.SO I bought replacements and that was NOT the problem.It is now completely useless.At $30, this calc is 10x's more than what a basic calc costs, so that is no excuse for such a poor quality product.PLEASE read the reviews - they all say the SAME thing.I was a fool for buying this.I hope this will help you.

Not Reliable, but highly useful.
Recently the screen on my HP 10bII Financial Calculator stopped working.At first I thought I simply needed new batteries, unfortuntally this was not the case.I owned it for just over two years before it broke down on me.So what did I do?I purchased another one.While I am disappointed with the reliability, I find it to be a highly convienent useful calculator.
